Made a quick stop and grabbed few beers and an appetizer. The tots were really good. Started with a flight and moved onto a bigger beer. read more

This is the best casual restaurant in the Inland Empire. We've been taking friends, family and our kids here for years and have never once had an experience that was anything less than great. Martha has elevated the kitchen and food experience to where I'd say the food is the highlight! Delicious home style cooking that feels like a backyard BBQ at times but tastes as good or better than any brunch, lunch or dinner restaurant. They've really done a great job of adding fun things to the environment as well. They've got board games ALL over, so it's a fun place for kids and adults. Plenty of space in each area and multiple areas to go to, so if you want outdoor dining, indoor dining, or the more "tucked away" upstairs area, there's something for you. Try this place out! read more

Good food. Family atmosphere, and kind workers. Fun games to play with friends. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very spacious! read more

Huge selection of brews, tasting available. Not your typical BBQ. Smoked pork was so tender and tasty, it didn't need sauce, but the white sauce was very good. Great brisket! I rarely eat BBQ beans, I ate all of mine, thought about eating more. Fast casual. Very helpful and kind service. Shared tables. read more

There were fun games out at the patio area where we ate. The food and beer were very good.

The food is great. We had the queso tacos, and a couple of flights. After the flight, I ended up getting a glass of the Belgian Tripel. However, the Imperial Ginger was a close second. I also enjoyed the Coffee Cream Ale, the Nut Brown, the Blonde, and the Red. I highly recommend Thompson's Brewery! read more

Ordered brisket fries, and the brisket was overcooked and dry. Tangerine wheat was ok. There is not enough seating. In the brewery, we had to use a neighboring business picnic benches. Only one service counter for beer. I would honestly would not recommend coming. read more

Great selection of beers, yummy food, and a cute patio. The customer service was excellent! Definitely going back! read more

Thompson Brewing - Beer & patio - American Near Me - Riverside, California

This place is amazing. Good vibes and good food. I would recommend this place for both family and date night.

Great find. Tried the brewery today for the first time. Wendy was great. Informative and friendly. Loved the lemonade seltzer that you could customize with homemade raspberry. Looking forward to trying the food on my next visit. read more

Great family brewery. They just expanded and have a nice big area to sample their brews. Steel Tip dart board and ping ping round out the fun. As they are a small brewery the sometimes run out of favorites , but that gives you the option to try something new!!! Give it a try, my guess is you will come back. Ps they fill generic growlers too!! read more

Thompson Brewing - American Near Me - Riverside, California

Had a taster of the Mario berry sour. Was just okay. But had a full pour of the Saison and that was really bad. Tasted like they brewed it with tap water. Did not taste like a saison. Had a breakfast sandwich too with bacon. They forgot the bacon and the sandwich was small and not worth the money. Would not recommend this place. read more

Great food and knowledgeable staff. Nice neighborhood atmosphere. Loved the hot mess sandwich- nice balance of sweet, hot and Smokey.

Sadly they have declined big time. When I first found them it was a gem. Good food good beer wonderful. The last time I went there their flights went from being a 3 or 4 ounce glass to a shot pffft and their beer is being watered down sick. To much skimping to save costs can loose you customers. Their food went from amazing to meh again skimping. photos to follow. read more

Great space for family hangout with good food. When it's busy, service really l a g s. Just plan it into your evening and enjoy the ping pong, etc while you wait. read more

Laid back atmosphere with great food and great beers! I got a flight of beers and loved them all! We will definitely be coming back!

The food is very good. The beer is not great. It is drinkable but all have a similar flavor and aroma that we friends find unpleasant. As a home brewer I think it may be the yeast strain that I taste. read more

Well I finally had the chance to come in on their Saturday brunch. As I work on the weekends, it's hard for me to make it in. Today I got the chicken fried steak and grease monster. I was a wee bit hungry. As stated, I got it to go. I drive to my standby spot and open the first box, it was the grease monster with tots. I polished that off and then moved to the chicken fried steak. Well...I must say, I 100% got my CFS fix. Grease Monster: Its a complete breakfast in sandwhich form. The medium egg really adds a great element to it. Very tasty indeed! CFS: Good size portion. Cooked perfectly and the gravy, OMG! I've been on the hunt for a good CFS in Riverside. I found the spot, here at Thompson Brewery. After this big brunch I had, it's now time to take nap. Too much good food! To bad I'm working cause a beer or 2 would hit the spot! THANKS GUYS!!! read more

Good beer. They need to bus and clean the tables, could not find a clean table and they ran out of glass cups and served my expensive craft beer in a plastic cup. Not acceptable. Do better. They were nice and friendly. read more

Huge fan! One of the best brewery I have been to. The beer is amazing! I had the pleasure of trying the Imperial Red and it was excellent. Hint of coffee and smooth taste made it the perfect beer for me. Also they had some tasty food, we tried the fried pickles and we loved them. We will definitely be back soon! read more

Came here for lunch with my son. The beers were good, better than the food anyway. The pub burger very garlicky. The buns were definitely the best part. Pretzel bun oh yeah. The veggie burger was over done. Sorry I don't enjoy chewy corn. Pickled onions a great touch tho. A little too saucy on both dripping and soggy at the end. read more

My friends and I had a great time at their place! It was super easy to book a table with the friendly staff, and while we did not try too many of their beers, we certainly enjoyed the food, especially the fantastic pub burgers! They also got plenty of games which was really fun, and you can even choose to sit outside or inside! read more

I recently visited the brewery and it was an amazing time. I ordered the brisket jam my husband ordered the bbq fries and we shared a plate of wings. The food was amazing. It was loaded with flavor and tasted fresh. We tried sitting outside for a bit but it was too hot so I'm glad they had a section next to the barrels where we still felt like we were outside. I will sure be returning. read more

Thank you Thompson Brewing! We are a bit overdue for this review but your service and quality has not been forgotten. We have shared with a handful of people our great experience at your place and we owe it to you for this here review. We had a really good time when hosting my 42nd Birthday here in your outdoor space. Your service was on point, everyone enjoyed the atmosphere, food was tasty, and the drinks were deliciously flowing. looking forward to our next visit! Thank you read more

We stopped by here on a whim. The service was amazing! The beers were good. The food was great. I didn't like one dish (personal preference, my husband thought it was ok) and they replaced it with an alternate dish, which was great! They have multiple areas for you to sit. You can choose outside with shade and yard games; upstairs with games; inside with TVs. They had music. It it wasn't so loud you can't hear the person next to you. Overall, a great experience. We will be back! read more

Been wanting to try this place out for so long and I'm glad I finally did. I came in on Sunday right before brunch ended and I ordered the bacon breakfast sandwich, the buffalo tots, and the mango coconut seltzer I believe it was. Portions sizes are more than enough and their priced reasonably. The staff was friendly and let me sample a few choices before I chose. They offer seating inside for downstairs and upstairs, as well as outside seating. There's music playing and it's not super loud. There's games for patrons to play and much more. Definitely one of Riverside's hidden gems! If you haven't checked them out, please do! read more

INCREDIBLE food, drinks and atmosphere! We came for lunch after a baseball tournament and feel lucky to have found this gem!! Came here with a group of 7 and a baby for Friday night dinner and drinks. Martha was so helpful even before we visited, answering a question I had about visiting. When we arrived, the line went quickly and they had a good selection of beers and a diverse selection of food they make from scratch. The woman at the register was helpful in answering my allergy questions on the food. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was fun. They are a great family run business in Riverside and we'd definitely return for another night to reunite with friends. Highly recommend! read more

We passed right by this spot a week or so ago when we gave Route 30 brewing a try. We decided to hit Thompson Brewing today. Great decision! Not much from the outside but easy to find with a large sign. The interior seemed a little clinical to me but the staff made up for that. The seating inside is several large tables so expect to get friendly with someone! If the seating looks full, go on upstairs and there is more. If that's full, there is yet more in the brew area including a nice big A/C unit which was welcome since it was quite warm. We ordered up two flights to try 12 of the 14 beers they had on tap. Nice selection of everything from a honey blonde to a Russian imperial stout. We also ordered a bratwurst with fries and a bleu cheese burger with tater tots. The beers were quite good. I'm not going to run down the list and review each one individually right now, particularly since I am doing it from memory and I'm old. My memory is failing... What was I talking about? Oh beer I guess. One of the few subjects I'm fanatical about. I'll get around to individual reviews of the beers when we make a return visit. For now, their imperial red was quite good and the honey blonde was very smooth. I also enjoyed the Smokey brown and the mosaic double NEIPA. My wife didn't enjoy the Smokey brown as much saying it had too much smoke flavor. Ok, the beers were solid. The highlight of this visit was the freaking bratwurst! I could have eaten, oh about 10 of the darn things! Nice spicy German mustard, sauerkraut, pickled onions! It was heaven on my tongue. A party on my tastebuds! Seriously get the bratwurst... The fries were quite good with it as well, and I would suggest those over the tater tots. The tots weren't bad at all, just nothing special. The bleu cheese burger was tasty but not on the same level as... Did I mention the bratwurst? Damn... Thompson brewing is a great spot. It was pretty busy in a Friday afternoon and I can see why. Great service, really good beer, and some great food. Also plenty of games and such to keep people busy. Cornhole out back, comic books and various games inside. We will definitely be going back to Thompson Brewing.
