The last time I went there their flights went from being a 3 or 4 ounce glass to a shot pffft and their beer is being watered down sick. To much skimping to save costs can loose you customers. I recently visited the brewery and it was an amazing time. I ordered the brisket jam my husband ordered the bbq fries and we shared a plate of wings. The food was amazing. It was loaded with flavor and tasted fresh. We tried sitting outside for a bit but it was too hot so I'm glad they had a section next to the barrels where we still felt like we were outside. We stopped by here on a whim. The service was amazing! The beers were good. The food was great. I didn't like one dish (personal preference, my husband thought it was ok) and they replaced it with an alternate dish, which was great! They have multiple areas for you to sit. You can choose outside with shade and yard games; upstairs with games; inside with TVs. They had music. It it wasn't so loud you can't hear the person next to you. Overall, a great experience. Been wanting to try this place out for so long and I'm glad I finally did. I came in on Sunday right before brunch ended and I ordered the bacon breakfast sandwich, the buffalo tots, and the mango coconut seltzer I believe it was. Portions sizes are more than enough and their priced reasonably. The staff was friendly and let me sample a few choices before I chose. They offer seating inside for downstairs and upstairs, as well as outside seating. There's music playing and it's not super loud. There's games for patrons to play and much more. Came here with a group of 7 and a baby for Friday night dinner and drinks. Martha was so helpful even before we visited, answering a question I had about visiting. When we arrived, the line went quickly and they had a good selection of beers and a diverse selection of food they make from scratch. The woman at the register was helpful in answering my allergy questions on the food. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was fun. Well I finally had the chance to come in on their Saturday brunch. As I work on the weekends, it's hard for me to make it in. Today I got the chicken fried steak and grease monster. I was a wee bit hungry. As stated, I got it to go. I drive to my standby spot and open the first box, it was the grease monster with tots. I polished that off and then moved to the chicken fried steak. Well...I must say, I 100% got my CFS fix. Grease Monster: Its a complete breakfast in sandwhich form. The medium egg really adds a great element to it. Very tasty indeed! CFS: Good size portion. Cooked perfectly and the gravy, OMG! I've been on the hunt for a good CFS in Riverside. I found the spot, here at Thompson Brewery. After this big brunch I had, it's now time to take nap. Too much good food! To bad I'm working cause a beer or 2 would hit the spot! Came here for lunch with my son. The beers were good, better than the food anyway. The pub burger very garlicky. The buns were definitely the best part. Pretzel bun oh yeah. Saw this on IG and decided to try it and was VERY disappointed. When we 1st got there, my boyfriend & I ordered the truffle fries while we wait on the rest of the party, and it took about 45 minutes to come out. The fries were cold when we got them and the flavors weren't good. Once the rest of our friends came, we ordered the San Fran burger and the nachos and were again highly disappointed. The food was cold. The nachos barely had any cheese on them, and the cheese tasted and looked like Velveeta. There were more pickled onions than anything else on the nachos. We passed right by this spot a week or so ago when we gave Route 30 brewing a try. We decided to hit Thompson Brewing today. Great decision! Not much from the outside but easy to find with a large sign. The interior seemed a little clinical to me but the staff made up for that. The seating inside is several large tables so expect to get friendly with someone! If the seating looks full, go on upstairs and there is more. If that's full, there is yet more in the brew area including a nice big A/C unit which was welcome since it was quite warm. We ordered up two flights to try 12 of the 14 beers they had on tap. Nice selection of everything from a honey blonde to a Russian imperial stout. We also ordered a bratwurst with fries and a bleu cheese burger with tater tots. The beers were quite good. I'm not going to run down the list and review each one individually right now, particularly since I am doing it from memory and I'm old. My memory is failing... What was I talking about? Oh beer I guess. One of the few subjects I'm fanatical about. I'll get around to individual reviews of the beers when we make a return visit. For now, their imperial red was quite good and the honey blonde was very smooth. I also enjoyed the Smokey brown and the mosaic double NEIPA. My wife didn't enjoy the Smokey brown as much saying it had too much smoke flavor. Ok, the beers were solid. The highlight of this visit was the freaking bratwurst! I could have eaten, oh about 10 of the darn things! Nice spicy German mustard, sauerkraut, pickled onions! It was heaven on my tongue. A party on my tastebuds! Seriously get the bratwurst... The fries were quite good with it as well, and I would suggest those over the tater tots. The tots weren't bad at all, just nothing special. The bleu cheese burger was tasty but not on the same level as... Did I mention the bratwurst? Damn... Thompson brewing is a great spot. It was pretty busy in a Friday afternoon and I can see why. Great service, really good beer, and some great food. Also plenty of games and such to keep people busy. Cornhole out back, comic books and various games inside. We will definitely be going back to Thompson Brewing. I visited Thompson Brewing for the first time this past weekend. I was in communication with Martha Thompson regarding a reservation. She was very responsive and flexible when I realized I had given her the wrong date. The brewery was very clean and had great decor. We sat in the "front" seating but I did peek at the back seating and open air area. It looked very nice. The Tangerine Wheat and Cherry Lime seltzer were very good and the pork fries were delish! The chicken salad was good and the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich was rated "ok" by my dad, a born and raised Buffalonian. He said it was a little too wet which made it hard to eat and it became sloppy. The buffalo sauce was not "buffalo" spicy enough, and anything "buffalo" should have blue cheese (not ranch). Again, the pork fries were delish. read more

This is hands down the best local Riverside Brewery. They are family owned, all of their food is made right there in front of you, and their beer is AMAZING! They have weekly food specials.
