I usually go to the UPS Store on North Tustin, but due to time constraints, I decided to stop by the Villa Park location instead. I started with some Amazon returns at the self-service kiosk, which went smoothly. However, when it came to a couple of larger items that required assistance, I had to go to the counter--and that's when things went downhill. The gentleman assisting customers seemed completely overwhelmed and moved with zero sense of urgency. The line was long, and it felt like he had no intention of helping anyone efficiently. After waiting for five minutes with no progress and growing frustration, I picked up my package and drove to another location. Now I remember why I usually go out of my way to visit a different UPS Store, even though this one is just around the corner. Lesson learned. Good luck if you decide to stop by here. read more

Yesterday, I went to this store to make copies for my Tax documents for the State of California, as I approached the counter to pay for the copies the cashier refused! to take my debit card, he " replied cash only" reason my copies were only .75 cents so my gal gave him a dollar to pay for my .75 cents for my copies of Tax documents. If you've read the consistently horrible reviews for this store, believe them ALL. There's a well earned reason it has about half the score of the others. The workers here are regularly rude with a chip on their shoulder and act like you're bothering them simply by asking them to do their job. And if you ever go in even remotely close to closing time, be prepared for their attitude problem to be exponentially worse. I'm hard pressed to think of a place that regularly has a worst customer experience. The owners and management are clearly either part of the problem or simply don't care as I'm shocked that dramatic changes haven't been made. One star is being far too generous as it is. read more

Been here twice. Clean and good location but very crowded parking lot. Once inside, there's a kiosk you can use for prepaid shipments. If you use the kiosk, just an FYI, it times out fairly quickly so make sure to keep watching the screen before putting your packages together. I wasn't able to get a receipt printed from the kiosk and the service person was very unhelpful. Kiosk is fast, easy and great if you can do everything correctly. I suggest going up to the person instead so you don't miss anything. I was told that I needed to follow along with the screen, which I was doing, but I guess I took too long putting the package and label together. Wish the service person was more understanding and helpful. read more

The 2 main employees a blind woman and a male with dark hair are simply not friendly. They make you feel like you are inconveniencing them whenever you bring in anything especially Amazon returns. I now travel to the Orange location even though it's farther from my house because those employees are so kind and helpful. The VP folks should take a lesson from them or maybe just try to be kind. This UPS location lacks customer service and satisfaction. I see they have 2 Stars but I'll give them 3 Stars. The multiple times I've dropped off my prepackaged items at other UPS locations they all greet and acknowledge at minimum ,"Hi we will be with you in a minute." We wanted to simply drop off our amazon returns here but the lady in the blonde hair and the Indian man made the process unnecessarily difficult. Regardless of reviews other people have posted in the past, I have always received excellent service at the Villa Park UPS Store. Both Katu and Melinda are such hard workers and so helpful with my shipping needs (I tend to do lots of shipping for work and also tend to do many Amazon returns). I recommend this business, you just need to be organized and ready with items you're mailing out as they can get busy in the afternoon (the more organized you are w/your packages the quicker the process is). read more

Expect to drop off and receive no customer service. I tried giving this place numerous opportunities to improve and I refuse to come here anymore, even though I live in Villa Park. I have always tried to support privately local businesses. But this one acts like they are doing you the favor when they need your business. The blonde lady I thought "maybe I caught her on a bad day." But that is everyday, morning, afternoon, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, everyday. I am the one that says hello, not her or any of the other employees. Once I went in and I could hear them in the back eating. I spoke up and said "hello" after I waited 3-5 minutes. She comes out wiping her mouth, does not apologize and again had a bad attitude. Today was the last time. I should have told them, "smile, it may make you feel better." For living in an expensive and exclusive area, this store does not hold up to the standards of the others on the Villa Park shopping center. I will drive farther. This location is terrible, the lady who seems to be the manager or owner has a bad attitude, very rude, disrespectful and is extremely surly. She is selective and biased with her customer service, she refuses to assist certain customers. The gentleman who works at this location also deserves a one star review. They "Lose" and or "Misplace" packages very frequently so if you bring a package to this location make sure they scan it into they system and ask for your receipt, or UPS will refuse to assist or pay your claim if you file one. I recommend you go another UPS store if possible, there are several in close proximity to this location. read more

Worst UPS store ever! We know we are always in for a bad attitude when coming in, but today took it to a new level of low. Other locations before we moved here, always nice. This place and I warned my husband- not nice. Wr always know we're (any one) is in for attitude when we show up . Even when everything is perfect. Nice label, all taped. We are not expecting candy, tape and a smile like other UPS stores. These people need to find something else to do if they are this terribly miserable in their job. OMG...Reading the other reviews I am glad to see that I am not the only one to get ignored and dismissed....I learned long ago to prepackage my drop offs and leave on the counter...I still get the who are you look...2 stars because I can drop off and not have to deal with the employees at this location..The Anaheim Hills location also has a grumpy elderly owner who treats her young employees poorly in front of customers...Good thing about the Anaheim Hills location is that the young employees seem to blow her nastiness off and provide friendly service for customers... read more

My previous review was removed, not sure why. The employees at this branch are the rudest employees I've ever encountered. If they hate their job so much, they should find another one. The Indian man is always passive aggressive and yells at his customers, I've seen it many times. The lady just gets overwhelmed and it's very unwelcoming. I come in to pick up packages and I dread it every time. After my last review, my packages are now being REFUSED. I have yet to know where my package went and all of this because of my honest review. The man that runs this is incredibly rude. He tried to charge me for picking up an item at a collection point which is usually free and was confirmed free by the company which gave me a code. This is the worst UPS ever, particularly the owners! They have such bad attitudes and are so obvious with how they treat their other customers compared to myself and my mom. Since I've been living here, UPS would leave a packaging slip to their main hub in Anaheim by the stadium but the last few months they've been leaving me slips to come to this pick up location and they are TERRIBLE! The woman in particular is horrible, she is so condescending and cold when I go in. I hand her my slip and my ID and she says "What are you looking for because that slip is meaningless." Well if it is so meaningless then why does UPS leave it?!! AND if you actually do your job and look at the packages you will see my name on a package -__- Yet I hear and see how she interacts with her white counterparts and it is total opposite of how she treats us. She is engaging and her attitude magically disappears. Thank you for being extremely obvious about how you feel about people of color. You clearly need to be trained on customer service for ALL human beings. There is an older man that works there and is no better. I came in to retrieve a package and he gave me the 3rd degree burn, constantly checking my ID, asking if it was me, checking to see if my ID was fake. Even after me signing for my package and the ID matching the package he seemed so hesitant to give me my own package. My mom has been in there to retrieve something that was heavy and he never bothered to ask her if she needed help which she did! The transparency in this store is quite clear and apparent. Before the trolls hiding behind the computer start harassing me about why I'm not home to accept my packages: Ever heard of porch pirates?!! People do have lives and aren't home 24.7 to sit around and wait for them to deliver. I wouldn't keep my gate unlocked living down here if my life depended on it. This UPS store has the worst customer service. They are very unhelpful. Both employees are rude & condescending. I took an amazon return there and the response was well the box isn't closed well. The item was a pop up tent that was broken. Amazon had to know it wasn't going to got back in the box. Instead of trying to do some sorta of helpful customer service at this ups store like can we help get it in the box it was you need to call amazon, we won't help you.
