Just went into this store to drop off an amazon return and there was an older guy behind the counter (I've been there loads and never seen him before) and as I was in line I see him bring up his phone and point it at me. I was creeped out and moved behind a wall and I saw him lower his phone in the reflection on the stuff on the wall. When I got to the front of the line he again brought up his phone and pointed it at me. I looked at him and he lowered it then when I looked at the girl helping me I heard clicking from his phone. I asked him if he was taking pictures of me and he looked away. I again said "sir, are you taking pictures of me" he looked at me and said he wasn't but it was blatantly obvious he was taking pictures of me. What's more all the gals behind the counter wouldn't make eye contact with me when I looked around for help. It felt so violating and creepy! I had (4) 12lbs boxes to drop off. Their door is pull only, so it was difficult to open the door with my hands full. When I got inside, I was disappointed to see 2 employees just standing there watching me struggle. The process was quick, since I was just dropping off. read more

I have been here multiple times to mail stuff. Service is good and helpful but I do have one MAJOR complaint: Their website says they have a onsite notary. When I called last Saturday to verify and make an appointment, the female employee told me rather rudely that they don't have one at all. I needed something notarized so I could scan it and have arrive at an insurance company in Ohio first thing Monday morning. I did find out that the UPS Store at the Navy Exchange in Honolulu does have a notary and they were open on Sunday! They said you don't have to be in the Navy to come and use them. If I could rate this store with more than 5 stars, it would've been done. I am exceptionally impressed with the service and responses I received from here. I needed to create brochures for our company, Wave Builders, LLC and was given attention from my first message to them on Yelp to the final details of picking up my brochures. First time I ever write a review, here is my story. I And my dad came in with a " Verification residency statement notary form" the guy refused to notarize for us ,he said because my dad doesn't communicate with him in English well. Ok , that made sense. Then I called my mom to come in, when she came I explained to her what to do with the note. The guy went ask her questions to make sure she understand what is she singing for, I wasn't allow to say anything. But the last question was irritated me, he pointed me and was like " did she tell you what to say? I want to know if someone is guiding you". I waited until we got notarized then I told him :Why would you ask if I tell her what to say?, he said : "because I saw you folks had a conversation out there, This is my job and I don't know you , I may be put in jail if something happens " WHAT??? Do I not have to explain to my mom what to do when I need her help??? That's just a simple residency notary to sent my kid to go school. I felt very uncomfortable, and I hope I wasn't because of our race. read more

I have been using this store for the past two years as I wanted to use a local store for my shipping needs. My two notary experiences there were excellent. I recommend them for this service. The other times I have visited the customer service is just okay. Not very friendly. I read the negative review about watching them wrap your items so the last time I had a valuable return... I left and did not watch. This was very strange for me as every other pack and wrap store I've been to, they wrap your items then charge you. I was trading in ten textbooks for a $200 refund... I was nervous, but the package made it and I received the refund fine. Around Christmas time I went in to ship presents to my family, which went fine the year before, and to return a pair of shoes from Amazon. I figured I could skip the anxiety of the wrapping situation by boxing and wrapping my items before I came in, which is a thing, right?? The lady I saw commented "may I ask why you wrapped the boxes?", but not in a polite way. I said I thought it would be okay. She explained that the conveyor belts the company uses could rip off the labels from the boxes and they could get lost. Once I heard this, I insisted that I was fine with purchasing boxes from the store to rewrap them. She said it was fine though, and she would duct tape the edges and everything to make sure that didn't happen. So, I consented. My return box to Amazon never made it. My sister and I shipped gifts the same day. Hers made it to my house a week before mine made it to her house, and for half the price. I will be finding a new shipping store. Over it. read more

INCREDIBLE SERVICE!!! So thankful for Em and Heather who went above and beyond the call!! I had a last minute print job that needed to get done by the end of the day. We had just come from OfficeMax and were quoted a 4 day wait due to high volume of graduation orders. I called the UPS STORE KAPOLEI in desperation, explained what I needed and was told "sure we can do it!". the UPS STORE KAPOLEI doors were going to close at 6:30pm and I walked in at about 2:00pm. We needed 750, 8 page booklets printed for a Quilt show happening at the Blaisdell (the next day!). They took the time to test run and make sure the printer could do the work properly. After a few adjustments we were out the door while they started the job... they took my number and said they'd call with progress updates. We got an update that things were looking good but they ran into a few printing errors so it would take a little longer than expected but were prepared to complete the job past closing hours if that would be ok with me. Yes yes yes!! So we had dinner and relaxed at the mall while they continued on with the job! We got a call that they were about done at about 8pm... an hour and a half past closing!!! The booklets were perfect, EM and HEATHER were amazing, friendly, attentive to detail and so pleasant to work with! Never once did they come across as this job being difficult or the fact that they stayed past hours was inconvenient! So happy with this ! So happy with them! Relieved to have the job ready on time! In general UPS is by far not my perfered shipping service I normally only use them when I must for return or what ever since UPS has expensive shipping prices. To prove my point my return shipping label was emailed to me I packed up the item since I do not have a printer I was hoping I could show the label on my phone for it to be scanned and printed. Of course they can't do this but I had the option to email and print out 1 page shipping label for $2.25!!! WHAT A JOKE. No thank you I drive to office depot print the label for $.15 scared to ask UPS how much it would cost for a piece of tape to tape their label to the box since they sell a small roll of tape for $9 I just went to safeway to buy some tape to drop the package off. Printing a UPS shipping label to mail a package through UPS should be a curiosity the simple fact they want to charge me $2 + tax to print a shipping label is outrageous and tells me everything about there shipping business and taking care of customers. read more

Called in this morning to check on the status of a package that my husband sent. I wasn't certain of which location he sent it and I didn't have the receipt with me. Explained to Heather the situation over the phone. She kept insisting that it was sent through Postal Connection and not UPS before even checking anything in the system and told me that I need to ask my husband! (My husband is at work! That is why I called to get help.) It felt like she didn't want to check. She also kept telling me that she needs a tracking number. I told her that I send all my packages via UPS and this is the first time anyone told me they cannot look me up by my info other than a tracking number. That is when she specifically said that it can be found by phone number BUT only if the package was sent through UPS. I got tired of repeating myself that I am sure the package was sent via UPS. Told her that checking was all I wanted, she confirmed her name was Heather before I thanked her and let her go about her morning possibly doing something much more important than helping this customer. I will definitely refrain from doing business with this store until this employee is properly trained in customer service, phone etiquette, and most importantly listening and comprehension skills! Oh, and this just in...After bothering my husband at work for the receipt...it is from UPS, but few of the numbers for the tracking and reference is faded. Called a different UPS store and they looked me up by phone number and voila. They found it no tracking number needed. I will be writing them a fabulous review for awesome stress-less service unlike the service I received here this morning. read more

If Yelp would let me rate this UPS Store with 0 stars, I would. I have been to several UPS stores around the world and this one, by far, is the absolute worst one I have ever been to. Bottom line up front, the service is terrible from the workers at this store because the manager has terrible customer service as well. I went to this location to have something boxed up and mailed out. The lady (older Hispanic lady) that helped me put my stuff in a box that was way too big for what I was mailing out which of course, increased the shipping costs over $30 dollars. When I pointed out to her that the box was too big, she got an attitude. She also got an attitude because I insisted on watching her pack my stuff. I don't know why that was a shocker to her since it's a common practice at every other UPS store to stay there and watch your stuff being packed. It's a good thing I stayed, too; otherwise, she would have overcharged me. Anyway, despite the terrible experience I had with this store, I, needed something packaged and mailed, and didn't have time to go to a further away UPS Store...so, I tried these guys out again...hoping someone competent would help me out this time...wrong. This time, I had a different clerk...older white lady. Exact same terrible customer service, and trying to pack stuff in boxes that are way bigger than they need to be. This lady also got an attitude when I told her I was going to stay and watch her pack my stuff. She made some comment under her breath about who knows what. She, then, starts getting emotional and is now yelling at me about what great customer service they have. Some lady walked in while she was getting loud with me and was telling me I should just leave...eventually I did. Oh, and on top of the terrible customer service from the workers, the manager jumps in with her rude comments. It was honestly THE WORST service I've had anywhere here in Hawaii. If all you need to do is drop something off, maybe they're a little more competent. However, if you want them to package anything and you dare tell them you want to watch, make sure you're ready for lots of attitude and random mumbling that really makes you wonder why you're wasting your money there. To get your mail/package delivered. I've been with postal from the very beginning,rent a mailbox and it's convenient my box increased twice within ten years!who can complain? Every now and then I may get a mail that's not mines just give it back to them and they will put it in right box! Grandpa is 80 plus years old and he does the best job! I went to drop off a box to this location, there was one man and a couple in front of my boyfriend and I and a man waiting in line right behind us. There were three people working, one girl helping the man, the other guy helped the couple. The other lady just finished helping someone so she was putting stuff away. The guy helping the couple was waiting for the two women to finish on the computers. While waiting he asked if I was just dropping off and I said yes. The worker that just finished helping someone addressed the man behind us in line instead of assisting my boyfriend and I. This man did not even have the stuff he was shipping out in a package! Idgaf if he has a mailbox there and they know him personally but I honestly think it was very rude. She was all happy to help him out and talk story with him but when it came to us, that worker did not even look at us and only assisted us because the man helping the couple told her to. Once I got up to the computer, she just snatched the box from me! Weighed it then walked away. If you hate your job so much, leave. Don't treat your customer poorly because you're not happy they did nothing to you. read more
