I have to be honest. The customer service is outstanding at this UPS store. That's why they got 1 star. However, I need to explain our situation to warn others they may not know when shipping packages, UPS. I needed to ship 2 packages of family heirlooms to my brother from my father's estate. I used home depot boxes and packed everything carefully with bubble wrap and padding. I insured them for what I thought was for lost, stolen, or damaged. When the boxes arrived they were demolished. They looked like they had been retaped to hold together. A few things were broken inside. I started a claim, sent pictures, even comparable replacement cost. Total $300. Figured my $6000 insurance would cover. Wrong. After going to the store twice and costumer service number twice I was still denied for these reasons. 1) they have to pack it 2) it had to be packed in their boxes (they claim Home Depot boxes are for moving not shipping) 3) My insurance was for value not damage (still doesn't make sense). 1) They DO NOT explain why they should pack and use their boxes; it's the only way they will reimbursed if damaged. 2) They DO NOT explain insurance policy and that insurance does NOT pay for damage. Please ask questions when you ship boxes cause THEY DON'T explain anything. And that's why the poor rating. read more

This UPS Store is located in the larger complex that is home to Kroger, DSW and a few other major retailers. It sits on in the smaller off-shoot area a few doors down from Jersey Mikes. Parking is no issue as there are plenty of spots in front or to the side given its location in the shopping center. Most of my visits here have been for Amazon returns and each time I come in, they are quick to assist and friendly while doing so. Never an issue. I have also mailed a package out and again experienced zero issues and nothing but friendly assistance. I work in Franklin, so I usually save all my UPS needs for office days so I can pop by this location. read more

First experience at this location - perfection. 5 stars for Brayden who handled my notary needs with preciseness and expediency and Jackson for courteous, quick and fun check out. We used this UPS store (#2891/Franklin TN) and specifically Brayden to pack up some 200 year old, very fragile, family heirlooms and had them shipped all the way across the country to California. When the boxes arrived and then were opened, the level of packaging and protection around each piece was superior and they arrived in perfect shape... Thank you! One star! I went into the store and the song "Groove is in the Heart" by Deee-Lite started playing. The staff here was so efficient that they got my package drop off taken care of before the song was over. What was I supposed to do? Stand around awkwardly and listen to the rest of the song after being handed a receipt? Find the song on Spotify? Oh... I guess I could do that. Never mind. Five stars, I guess. read more

Its weird to say I love a UPS store but I do. Everyone that works here is so nice and helpful. From dropping off Amazon packages, setting up postage for gifts to ship out even to buying 1-2 stamps, the customer service is the best. 3 out of the 4 times I've visited they've changed their policy's and/or try to rip you off on pricing. My most recent visit was a no-box return from Amazon, which I showed them, and the manager wouldn't take it telling me it needed a box. No help, nothing. read more

I rarely write reviews but I was so impressed by my experience today with Manisha at the Franklin UPS. She went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me and had the best can-do attitude. I had an issue with my shipping label (my fault) and she teamed up Chandler and together they were determined to find my package that I miss labeled in the store. I was just so taken by their positive attitudes and willingness to help me despite my mistake and creating more work for them. read more

Is there a negative star rating? Horrible customer service. I paid over $300 to get something sent overnight. It never even made it to the state it was supposed to go to until the next day of their "guaranteed time" and them blames me for giving the wrong address when I confirmed the right one. They also denied a claim that I was told couldn't be started until the package was delivered. Funny how I had to call a week later to see if it had shown up yet and magically it appeared THAT day AND the claim was done! Gayle is a terrible manager. Zero leadership skills but definitely a finger pointer. Sadly not the first time I've encountered incompetence from this location. No one really seems to know much there and there looked like 15 people working in that little place. This is the last time I will attempt any sort of service from them. read more

This location is convenient to my work in Cool Springs. I came here last week to send some items to Thailand and they were very helpful! The process took a while because I was shipping to Thailand so the woman who helped me wanted to make sure we had everything right. She was very patient and I appreciate the time she took with me. When someone else walked in another man stopped working in the back and came to help her - and she was out of there in less than two minutes. Good customer service! If you ever need to send something not through the USPS, I definitely recommend this UPS Store. read more

An attendant in this store was not wearing her mask properly. It was well below her nose as she waited on customers. When it was my turn, I kindly asked her to raise her mask above her nose and after a few seconds she complied. In this day and time businesses should take Covid-19 more seriously. read more

Excellent service and personnel. My wife and I had several packages shipped again this year (2014) at The UPS Store in Cool Springs and had a great experience which is not usually the case elsewhere. Usually we've waited in long slow lines at the Post office or other shipping businesses. At the UPS Store the line moved quickly because they have adequate and experienced staff who were friendly and professional. If you have delicate objects to ship it's worth having them pack it the right way. If you're in the Cool Springs, Franklin or even Brentwood area it's worth the drive. I've used them for printing services in the past and it's good to know they also make business cards, brochures, fliers and menu's for the business that wants a professional look. We'll be definitely using them again. read more

I can not recall the lady's name who helped me choose a delivery time that I needed to get their quickly, but she was so patient and kind. This happened today...shipped a package on the 12th of Dec for guaranteed next day delivery...Barbara assured me it would be there by 1030am next day. Tracked shipping, due to "weather" delay it was moved back one day. My package was bad due to it being a perishable item. I understood that but to pay 100 bucks on shipping and not have it on time is unacceptable. The store which is a 3rd party NOT an actual ups company put the refund in and UPS company declined it. I got was irrate. How can clear and sunny skies be inclement weather!!??? Both the store and UPS company acted like it was no big deal oops sorry as they STEAL my money. I even had a customer service rep by the name Garrett ask if i wanted him to speak to GOD about the weather!!??seriously!!??? How dare you!!! The only good thing that came about this horrible ordeal is that Barbara called back and the STORE NOT UPS will be cutting check for the majority of the shipping cost.
