Twice in the last 2 weeks I've needed help, and the folks at this Staples have helped me out. The first time I needed a desk and chair for my son to do homework on. The second was when I needed a 240 page pdf file printed and bound. BOTH times the folks at the Bellevue Staples came through. This place is kind of important to my little business/non profit, and it is located right beside the post office where I get my mail 3 times a weeks. So it is a good thing that the Bellevue Staples store comes through! read more

For many years, I have been a loyal Staples customer for office supplies, printers, ink cartridges, and for recycling empty cartridges. A few months back, the 'reward' program was changed, and I no longer shop at Staples. The reward system is so confusing, and the website so unhelpful as to what the rewards actually are, and what my balance is that I have given up on them. I called the store to check on ink. Was transferred around and sat on hold for over 20 minutes. After 5 minutes I decided to drive to the store and had the phone going the entire time. Even was on hold while browsing the ink. No employees offered to come help or even acknowledged me. I had to search for someone to ask for help. The store wasn't crowded or overwhelmed so I don't know why they ignore customers. read more

This place seems to get som lousy reviews, especially in the print center. I usually use the Harding Road Office Depot for supplies and printing and I hve found the same problem with the printing at Office Depot - something's always broken. This place looks better and seems to be stocked with a lot more inventory. I stopped by in hopes I could find something that OD doesnt carry. Neither does this Staples, but folks were nice and the place had a better feel than I see at The Depot. If I lived nearer, I'd use Staples, based on this one, albeit unsuccessful, visit. read more

Ordered a banner under the premise of same day pickup. Went to pick it up and the printer is broke. Tech wasn't sure when it would be fixed said "it's been broke for a week". Called back today and was informed the printer was still broke and they haven't t seen the repair man today. If the printer was in need of repair and "same day pickup" isn't possible then customers should be informed upon placing the order. Waiting a day or two isn't a huge issue...employees not having a clue as to when the work will be completed or offering a solution to the problem is the issue. I'm sure a neighboring Staples could print backed up orders and then could be delivered to the location with broken printer while it was being repaired. read more

I really hate leaving bad reviews because the hard working folks out there suffer for the people who just don't pull their weight... but this location is always an infuriating disappointment. Something is ALWAYS broken in the Print center. And there's usually no one behind the counter, at least when I go in. Been using this location for going on 3 years. Oh, how I adore ye office supplies and the brick & mortars that house thee. While I could easily buy 1 (or 100) of everything in this store, I do my best to keep my head down (that's a lie) and grab just what I need. In and out, or else...trouble! The employees here are great, both at the cash registers and in the printing department, and don't seem to mind when I act a little cray cray, running around like a 2 year old in a Chuck E. He could tell that I was frazzled from dealing with confusion earlier in the day with a different set of employees and corrected the issue in no time and gave me my copies for free! I have a problem...of collecting too many office supplies. But sometimes, it just makes me feel better to walk the aisles of Staples to look at their pens, notebooks, and post-it notes. Yes, addicted? Perhaps...but hey, stores like this helps us get our business done! This Staples store, although a bit old looking as if it's been there for a while, had friendly customer service and I appreciated that things are well labeled so you know exactly where to do to get what you need. They (Staples-wide) do have a rewards program where you get 10% back on Ink, Paper, and Copy service. As for pricing, I recently bought a Staples planner for ~$12 and I found a very similar one at Target for ~$6. I guess it's expected that things are a bit more expensive at a "superstore" for office supplies! read more

I have been using this location for about 2 years now. Generally good friendly staff. I went in the other day to buy a replacement printer for my home computer and the salesman kept trying to upgrade me. Telling me that if I made a couple of copies a week I would need a 200 dollar plus printer...not true (I repaired printers in my younger days and have owned many in the past). I really thought he was going to cry when I told him no...he mentioned that the "starter ink sets are just for calibration and that I needed to buy extras". I don't mind having the extra ink so I bought them. Over a month I am still chugging alone just fine on my starter ink set. The staff needs to realize that just because I'm older...doesn't mean I am stupid and slow...it means I have years of experience ahead of them. I will continue to buy my small office supplies here...but never a printer again. jf read more

I normally use Fed Ex to print and bind my annual planners but today I decided to give Staples a shot. The lady working seemed helpful enough and said she could have the project done in a couple hours. So I ran home, and grabbed my sheets I had already printed and came back. All I needed was to print the covers in full color high res. When I returned there were 4 people in line and she's the only one working so i waited 20 minutes. First I asked her to print the sheets at the printers behind the counter as I know they print higher quality with option of a heavier stock of paper than the copiers outside. She said she can't print them for me because someone at corporate has taken away each stores ability to receive emails directly from customers! Are you serious? So - the only way I can print is to email my file and see if the cheap copiers are sufficient print quality. Negative. Cheap light weight paper, so I asked if I could have her grab a sheet of photo paper or High gloss with a heavier paper weight to up the quality. She says "the paper is in aisle whatever". I said by the individual sheet? She says no you have to buy the whole package for $15-$19. What? So Staples Corp won't let her take a sheet of paper from her stock behind the counter for "my project". I said what do you mean "my project"? I have brought my pages here for you to print 2 pages, laminate then spiral bind- therefore I'm your customer utilizing your services and PAYING for it right?! Seriously? I said you know what- this is not the quality of service I would expect from Staples, so I'll be completing this project at Fed Ex tomorrow. People Don't waste your time at Staples!!!! read more

In addition to being overpriced (like all Staples), this location is woefully understaffed. And the employees they do have are fairly useless - having to redo transactions and call managers on pretty much every transaction. I pretty much only come here if I have a good coupon or there's a good sale. Otherwise, it's worth it for the longer drive to Office Depot. read more

Awful service from the copy and print center. I've came here 3 times in the past week and the lady always complains about how they're really busy. She said my order would be done by 4 and when I walked in at 3:55 she was doing nothing and my order hadn't even been printed or cut. Had to wait an extra 35 minutes and she's told other customers to use the computer to print instead of helping them because they were "busy." Terrible customer service, and they obviously can't multi task. Go to another staples. read more

Super impressed with my current printing experience. I submitted my own template for first birthday party invites yesterday and they had them printed and ready today! Super fast and they look amazing! They even provided envelopes which I was surprised about! Will use them again for printing! read more

Something is always broken in the copy center. Very slow service. Extremely expensive for simple things like scanning and computer usage.

The employees here are super nice and helpful. One employee spent at least a half hour helping me select a printer, and another employee always helps me carry oversized purchases (file cabinet, bookshelf, etc.) out to my car. Excellent service! read more
