I have to be honest. The customer service is outstanding at this UPS store. That's why they got 1…read morestar. However, I need to explain our situation to warn others they may not know when shipping packages, UPS. I needed to ship 2 packages of family heirlooms to my brother from my father's estate. I used home depot boxes and packed everything carefully with bubble wrap and padding. I insured them for what I thought was for lost, stolen, or damaged. When the boxes arrived they were demolished. They looked like they had been retaped to hold together. A few things were broken inside. I started a claim, sent pictures, even comparable replacement cost. Total $300. Figured my $6000 insurance would cover. Wrong. After going to the store twice and costumer service number twice I was still denied for these reasons. 1) they have to pack it 2) it had to be packed in their boxes (they claim Home Depot boxes are for moving not shipping) 3) My insurance was for value not damage (still doesn't make sense). 1) They DO NOT explain why they should pack and use their boxes; it's the only way they will reimbursed if damaged. 2) They DO NOT explain insurance policy and that insurance does NOT pay for damage. Please ask questions when you ship boxes cause THEY DON'T explain anything. And that's why the poor rating.

Parking is no issue as there are plenty of spots in front or to the side given its location in the shopping center. Most of my visits here have been for Amazon returns and each time I come in, they are quick to assist and friendly while doing so. Never an issue. I have also mailed a package out and again experienced zero issues and nothing but friendly assistance. I work in Franklin, so I usually save all my UPS needs for office days so I can pop by this location.

I went in to mail an international letter, and the manager suggested I use the app. I had forgotten one document, so I went home, retrieved it, and returned just 10 minutes later because I preferred to have the store handle the mailing. Upon my return, the manager said, "I told you to do it in the app. We're too busy." There were only four customers and three employees in the store. His response was rude and showed a complete lack of customer care. While at the Publix in the same shopping center, a customer who had witnessed the interaction recognized me and said she wasn't surprised, describing the manager as new and consistently rude. She also mentioned that several employees have left in recent months. I strongly encourage the owner to evaluate the management at the Fieldstone Farms UPS Store in Harpeth Village. I will not return and will encourage others in my neighborhood to take their business elsewhere. I would give zero stars if I could.

Instead, when I asked for help, I was simply directed to a generic technical support phone number posted under the desk and left to resolve the issue on my own. Based on what I observed, customers seemed satisfied with the store's traditional shipping and mailing services. However, I did sign up and I am glad I did. The course was straightforward and easy to follow. It was all done by video and the instructor made the information easy to process and retain. He even made me laugh several times! I still have a bit of studying to do before my state exam, but I did well on the practice tests after going through the course. I passed, but as I want to do better on the state exam I will study for a bit before to do better. I was amazed at how much I retained from a short course done in a day (6 hours online with a few starts and stops). I had a technical issue in the middle of the class and the call was answered right away and the problem fixed. So far it has been a good experience and I look forward to completing the rest of the process.

It took him double the amount of time as he had to scroll on his phone multiple times during the fingerprinting. I do not recommend this place for fingerprinting.
