I visited this place to get fingerprinting. The person at the front was very sweet and helpful. Unfortunately the person working with fingerprinting was addicted to his phone. It took him double the amount of time as he had to scroll on his phone multiple times during the fingerprinting. I do not recommend this place for fingerprinting. read more

Went there today after registering for an appointment 1 week ago for fingerprinting. Had a date and time. Had email confirmation. They could not find the appointment. One guy was very, very nasty and tried to loud talk me. They tried little to help me trouble shot the problem. I left frustrated and upset. If you need fingerprinting sign up for some other place. Their customer service is horrible. I called the company that needed the fingerprinting from me and told them of the problem and they suggested make an appointment at the Nashville site and not to go back to the Franklin, TN site. read more

I went here for their FedEx drop off service, with a return item. While the location was convenient and the staff were polite and helpful, I took issue with the fact that they would not give me a receipt for my drop off. At other FedEx and UPS drop off places, one gets a receipt. That way one can prove that he actually dropped the item off. Without a receipt, the drop off store could simply abscond with my item and sell it, and I would not have anything to prove that I had dropped it off. According to the staff this is strictly a store policy. It's not a good one, and I hope they fix it. Computers can do a lot these days. read more

Rude associates. No customer service. Do not honor the appointment you made. No one greeted me upon entering the store but acknowledged "others" who did come in while I waited to be seen for my appointment for fingerprints. There are no signs directing you to wait for your appointment and when I walked up to the counter to be seen- the man just looked at me as if I was inconveniencing him. I told him I had an appointment and he pointed behind me and said "well after those people you can wait over there" If possible try to schedule your appointment for another Identigo and not this one. The guy (I guess the owner?) here is an absolute JERK. I had never been in before and decided to pop in just now to buy stamps since it was more convenient than the post office at the moment... forgive me, but I didn't realize they mark up each book of stamps $1. I apologized (three times, I believe), and was as nice and polite as I could possibly be. But told them never mind, thank you anyway... and the guy was so incredibly rude about it. "YEAH, we have to make a living SOMEHOW... credit card charges aren't free to us, ya know..." in such a rude and hateful tone. Ugh. Went for fingerprinting. They took a guy who was late for his appointment at my time, causing me to be late. Then didn't let my fingers dry from the wipes and said I might need to come back. Thankfully they did work. Returned once to mail a package through Usps. Never showed my my package weight or calculation to me - just said what I owed. No questions about contents, no insurance and quite an up charge. No one was friendly in the process. I will not be back. read more

My husband dropped off a package to be sent to my mother-in-law for her 61st birthday. We got her a gift card that never made it to her. When he called management about this they said "it happens all the time" and didn't apologize. I have a problem with that kind of attitude. "It happens all the time"? It's never happened to me before in my life until we used this service. Our mail carrier has been pretty good all these years and it's not the Christmas season when it typically happens. I think the common denominator is "Goin' Postal" and someone stole my mother-in-law's gift. Use this service at your own risk. I'd say a typical letter is fine, but for sending something of any value I would go somewhere else. read more

I was hesitant to stop in this shop because the reviews were overwhelmingly poor. But the regular customer who gave rave reviews made me give them a chance. I was pleasantly surprised to find the staff knowledgeable and efficient. I'm traveling and didn't have the materials that I normally do for a mailing, and they took care of it nicely. I teach customer service for business and one recommendation I made to them while I was there was to look up and greet people with a smile...even when you're busy. Customers know they have to wait, but love to be greeted. Definitely give these folks a chance. read more

I brought small 2 packages at 4 pm to be boxed and shipped and paid over $40 for them to be sent priority mail. I was assured by a gentleman they would be sent that day and that he woyld send a tracking number via email. I asked if I could get one before leaving. He said not until they are packaged and assured me it would be done. Later I received tracking for one package but not the other. I went back the next morning and a lady said the second package didn't show up on the computer. She found it still sitting in the back. She would not offer a refund and I had to ask again for it to be scanned. She apologized, saying "sometimes things don't get sent the same day. " I will definitely choose the Post office or UPS next time! read more

Don't use this place. I filled out a form with the address of the location I wanted my package sent. For some reason they changed the address. The package was intended to go to Knoxville, but headed to Memphis. For anyone who knows their geography, these are on opposite sides of the state. I ended up spending two hours on the phone with FedEx trying to figure out where the package was, and how to get it where it needed to be. I would never use this place again. The owner is apparently only in the shop for a few hours a day. No one else there could help me get A refund for the poor service that they provided. read more

Well, I came in this location despite seeing the mixed reviews because I had a package that I desperately needed to get delivered safely and quickly and I didn't have time to shop around at different places. And I am SO glad I did! I'll save the details of the story because it is way too long for a review, but suffice it to say that first through a mistake I made and then a mistake on the part of FedEx (none of which was the fault of Goin' Postal!) I was just about convinced that my package was never going to make it. But over the course of the four days it took us to get it sorted out and FINALLY safely delivered, the Goin' Postal employee who was helping me out was amazing. She never quit working on it, tracking it down, contacting FedEx multiple times, calling me back (sometimes multiple times a day) to give me updates, and celebrated with me when we finally confirmed the package had made it. And, again, all of this was due to a mistake I made initially and then a second mistake by FedEx. None of it was their fault. I truly hope the store really takes this review very seriously in order to retain customers and maintain business growth. It saddens me that there aren't USPS or UPS nearby. I needed a post office nearby & took a chance on this store. I came in to mail in my Valentine's Day gift. The older lady was somewhat unfriendly. I asked the different pricing for 2 and 3 day priority mail. I was expecting a high price due to the weight of mail and the estimated time arrival. When asked the cheapest price for 3 day shipping, it was incredibly cheaper than the 2 day shipping cost. It seemed that she was hoping for me to choose the 2 day. It seemed as if the fact that I chose the 3 day, she won't make enough money. She became uninterested & unsettled. I cant help but to think that maybe they charge more since it is Valentine's Day. Not to mention, I don't think I saw any pricing board to disclose to clients. It turns out the package got there a day earlier! I felt like the older lady attempted to trick me to get the 2 day shipping with higher price. Can't trust. Sigh read more

BEWARE!!! NO INSURANCE ON PACKAGES!!! I have been going here for over 3 years but never again after today. I learned they no longer insure any packages. Additionally, when I inquired about the UPS or FedEX insurance, Clay rudely informed me they are a private company so that insurance is not applicable. read more

Each visit I felt unwelcome and felt as though my business was not appreciated during the morning shift. I visited during the afternoon and the gentlemen was very nice and welcoming. I tried to mail a sympathy card and was told the charge would be $45.00 to overnight a greeting card. WOW! I mailed it standard and looked passed that; however, due to my last visit on 04-11-2016 the cashier tried to over charge me $4.40 to mail a standard letter and I informed her the post office charges 47 cents. I took the same letter and drove 1-2 minutes down the street to the USPS and they charged me 47 cents to mail that letter. I will never do business with this company again. I went to Goin Postal for my convenience to mail one stamped card and a small box. The only shipping choice they provided me was mailing the box priority. I asked about shipping the package economy or parcel select with tracking and I was told they did not offer this shipping method because there were too many incidences of theft. They also wanted to charge me $17.00 plus to ship the box. I asked them how much more was the charge than the Post Office for this service. The woman did not want to tell me so she answered "just a little more than the Post Office". I didn't appreciate her evasive answer so I said it sounds a bit expensive and decided to head over to the Post Office instead. My mistake was forgetting to take the stamped card with me. The box ended up costing $11.00 plus to ship from the Post Office; it's no wonder Goin' Postal wouldn't tell me the price difference! I also asked the clerk if there was a lot of theft when shipping parcel post and she said there was not, so someone is not telling the truth. Lastly the person I sent the card to never received it so I will assume Goin' Postal didn't mail it because they were angry that I did not use their shipping services. I think they are dishonest and I will never go there again. read more

Terrible customer service, owner is very nasty. Mailed a package on 12/16/11 and was told I would be emailed my tracking number for Delivery Confirmation, which I paid $1.30. Never received email. Called store on 12/19/11 and asked for the number and was told they were very busy and would call me back. Never received call. Stopped at the store to mail Christmas cards, they wanted to charge an additional .40 cents per card! Seriously? Can you say Ripoff? Since I was in the store I asked for the tracking number again and was told I would have to give them the full name and City, State. I didn't have that with me so I said I would call with the information. I let them know I would not be using their services again and was told (very nastily) "well we have had over 300 customers a day for the last two weeks, we are doing the best we can". Really? That is not my problem, since you sold me a service and 4 1/2 days later I still don't have my info! If you are so terribly busy, I suggest you either hire more employees or stay late and do what you are supposed to do, especially since I paid for this information! read more
