This post has to do with the auction pick up section. I'm choosing to make a review because my voice was not heard in store due to me leaving before the sales associate caused a scene. I came to this location to pick up bid items. All 5 items were ordered on the same day at the same time, 2 of the items had an earlier pick up date so they were missed. WE UNDERSTAND THE RULE. It you miss the date you lose the item and the money; when speaking to the sales associate in asking why if they had the same purchase date would there be different pick up times she said you have 4 days from purchase to pick up. I said that in that case is there a manager that can honor all items since they were ordered and paid for at the same time. The sales associate proceeds to raise her voice and say " I don't know what you don't understand " in regards to the pick up. She advised there wasn't a manager so I then asked her not to raise her voice at me and if there was a service number she said no. I asked her to finish checking out the 3 of 5 items and she kept talking over me about the "process" I told her I don't do public conflict and wanted to check out and we will find another way to get out questions answered. At that time she provided the website for the service. I'm leaving this review for the attention of management! The interaction with your sales person was overwhelming for me as a customer who has already paid I felt ridiculed for asking questions and embarrassed at the tone I was being spoken to. I refuse to make this about race, in a time where everyone and thing is on a high emotionally and financially please coach your staff in proper customer service etiquette for all people, and provide a better way for questions to be answered that are above your sales associate pay grade. I will not be back to the Franklin location I did not feel safe. read more

This is an interesting store - never been to anything like it until moving here. It feels like a combination of 3/4 Dollar store mixed with 1/4 Marshall's/TJ Maxx. The store has a small non-perishable food section (cereal, chips, condiments), an aisle or two of body lotions, soaps, hair care, kitchen supplies, bedding, home goods, and a minimal "outdoor" section with patio furniture, rugs, camping gear etc. A majority of the store has clothes, but nothing I particularly liked. They had sparse discounted name brand clothing, the likes of White House Black Market, Calvin Klein, etc., as well as generic brand clothes which I've never heard of before. I did see a pair of skinny Juicy Couture jeans being sold for $15, and it retails for $100. So I guess you just never know... Parking lots are share with other tenants. The store is not huge but not small. There's lots of stuff in here be prepared to hunt! Most of their furnitures are in boxes and doesn't have labels or pictures so be prepared to go through and dig through it. They're not organized either. You can get a lot of good deal/stuffs just be careful some things are overpriced vs what you can get them normally. The store could be a bit cleaners and less of a mess on shelves. read more

Awesome bargain hunting here, but less than other bargain hunt stores. Be careful of the Amazon returns...when I saw that sign out front I was excited. I found an item and discovered there was a factory defect once I got it home. I was able to make it work, but need to keep in mind why someone might return an item. That said, the item was priced at something like 90% off the cost of it being new and it was still mostly in the original packaging. Of note to store, Amazon, Amazon shoppers, etc.: the Amazon returns in this store had the names and address stickers of the ppl who returned the product. That should be changed. read more

Just a hodge podge of stuff... sometimes, you can find some A-MAZ-ING deals. They have a great concept. Most things are labeled with a date and a price. As the item ages, it's marked down by 10,20, all the way up to 90% at times. They post the % off and corresponding dates all over the place and they also have a basket with small cheat sheets that you can take with you for your convenience. I think I enjoy this store not for the stuff they have but so I can brag about how I got something for 90% off. :p lol They don't carry shoes anymore but I did get a pair of Charles David for $4 as well as Jessica Simpson for $5. They have some carry on luggages for $20 and I've even seen a Samsonite garment bag for $20... w/o any additional % off. Now that I'm working in Franklin - I'll be coming here more often to wait out the traffic... yeah.. that's it ;) read more

Poor customer service. I've been shopping at this Bargain Hunt for years without issue, but unfortunately the first time I did have one, I was disappointed how the issue was handled. I tried to return a pop-up beach tent that I had purchased a couple months prior. My family had just had the opportunity to try out the tent on our beach trip. Unfortunately, the joints wouldn't lock as they should, so it kept collapsing on my napping toddler. When I went to the store, I was told they had a 30 day return policy, but since I hadn't had an opportunity to use the tent, I asked if I could just get store credit since the item was completely unusable. I was given a hard no. It just seems like bad business to be willing to lose a long-time customer over $20 in store credit. Won't be going back, and I will no longer recommend this store to friends as I once had. read more

I love the store and the products. However, I over heard the store manager named Linda yelling at her staff and it left a bad taste in my mouth. It is very unprofessional! I as a customer felt very bad for the worker that she visibly embarrassed and belittled. I feel this needs to be addressed. Because she is obviously a bully. read more

This place was next to TJMaxx so we decided to stop in. We figured it would be a similar store, but it's more like a family dollar and big lots combined. They had techno music playing, it was strange. The items are just kind of stuck on shelves in no particular fashion. I think it's basically a store that takes items that can't sell or that are returned from other stores. Good deals as far as prices are concerned, but the whole feel of the store was more like a flea market instead of a retail store. They had everything from non-perishable foods to clothing, to furniture to pet items, but the selection is not large for brands and like I said, the selection was kind of wonky. Used to like this place a lot more when they had the CD and video games area and there was occasionally something cool behind that counter in the very back. Was pretty disappointed to see they remodeled and got rid of that area. Still there are some good deals here if you're looking for clothes or furniture. But on the other hand this place can feel quite dirty. Probably won't be coming here much anymore. read more

got a great deal on a tv at the new Bargain Hunt location but it had black spots when I got it home. Took it back and Clint and the young man in the tv dept helped me out, honored the original price and set up the new tv to make sure it was in good conditioned. Helped me out to the car and I bet they would have come home with me and set it up there if I had asked. Better service than you would ever get at walmart. read more

As you can see, these reviews are old. Bargain Hunt now is completely different. They will remark their goods as if they had just arrived to keep the prices from getting too low. Did you not think we'd notice, Bargain Hunt? There is no service to speak of and you can get yard sale quality stuff for department store prices. I won't be back. read more

This facility is bangin'. I always feel at home almost like the at home store. It's almost as nice as the Jamba Juice on McEwen. very similar vibes. Bargain hunt always has exactly what i'm looking and knows exactly what i wasn't looking for but what i still needed to buy. I bought a fan there, brought it home and not all the parts were in the box. Took it back, picked out another fan (same style/brand) brought it home and the screws weren't in the box. This is a huge yard sale store with high prices. I will NEVER shop at Bargain Hunt again!! read more
