I usually just come here to drop off Amazon and UPS returns. The older gentleman who is usually the one handling the Amazon returns really needs some customer service lessons. He's fairly rude (and usually to women) and condescending. As Amazon returns vary in their directions, he tends to point out that the customer didn't read the directions and that there would be a packaging fee or that the customer did something wrong. The last time I came in, I had my package in the original envelope but didn't seal it in case the store was going to place the label on the item. He asks me open my phone, navigate to the return instructions and "read the second bullet." After telling me that I needed to seal my package, I asked him for a receipt. He goes, why don't you just take a photo of the label on the your phone? While he may seem like he's being helpful, he's coming across as condescending. If the return label is not ready when you are at the counter, he calls the next customer. It does take a while, you know! I am now planning to make any Amazon returns to Kohl's and any UPS returns to other stores than this one. read more

Reading the negative posts, perhaps if those returning Amazon products would read the Amazon Requirements, they would have less issues. I have returned many items to Amazon and find this UPS Store and staff to be very convenient, always professional and very informative. The issues typically are Amazon tracking issues, not UPS. Today I was shipping a product back to a Company for warranty work, not Amazon. Sean was extremely professional and finalized the account creation to allow for faster shipping needs and conducted the transition very well. I am very happy to have the convenience of this UPS Store and to those who want to complain, you can always go to the Post Office if dissatisfied. read more

I have been coming here very often now that Amazon does not offer UPS pickup. SEAN has been great and never had any problems with him or his staff. I pack and seal my packages and present the QR code for receipt. I am shocked when I see 'NON PAYING' customer trying to drop off Amazon stuff and give Sean attitude. Totally unacceptable with these rude and self entitled people! In my experience with an Amazon return, they are rude. I received a snarky, condescending comment which was unappreciated. To make matters worse, they have earned a reputation throughout our community for being inappropriate. It seems like they are proud of treating people badly. Make sure you box and tape up your Amazon returns. They will charge $2-3 dollars to tape up the box. Even though Amazon instruction says they will box it all up at the location at no charge. My last couple visits to this ups store for my Amazon returns were unsuccessful and I am skeptical of their practice. 1st visit - my box was not taped so they asked for $3 to tape up the box and ship it out. 2nd visit - had a sign on the door that the Amazon is down and they can't take the returns. 3rd visit - turned away, the person at the counter told me the Amazon system isn't working (AGAIN..?) and that it's down nation wide. What's weird is that I had placed an order on Amazon just before visiting there. There were no system malfunction. it worked fine. But maybe return is different. So, I went to another location few miles away just to see if this was true but hey ! They took my item and was able to return just fine. In conclusion, I don't know if there was truly a system malfunction from Amazon nationwide like the rep told me earlier today. Just so happens this is the only ups location that supposedly is experiencing "system down" and cannot accept Amazon return. I feel like this location doesn't want to deal with customers with Amazon returns because maybe there's no profit-making and is consistently blaming the "system malfunction or system down" as an excuse to refuse customer that's not benefiting their own business. read more

Stay away from this UPS! They have been rude to me and my fiancé several times. And now we have had it!!! You do not need to treat people with your rude attitude! Last week I went to do an Amazon return. I was told by the older man that I had to wait 10-15 minutes since the UPS truck was there and they were too busy to take us. Seriously! Get some help and hire more employees! That is not the first time this has happened and it is not my problem! I have been asked several times to wait 10-15 minutes so they could deal with the Amazon truck. I was always very kind. But I had to be at church to volunteer. Also, I did not appreciate the tone of voice used and how I was told by this older man. And also I was scolded by employee Scott for not following proper instructions for a return! I did not tape the box (never had this happen?). It's a guessing game! Amazon needs to instruct us better. I refuse to ever do business again at this location! There are better ways to speak to people! It's called tact! Then I went to the UPS Lake Forest location. I told them what happened and they told me they heard from other customers that the man at the Foothill Ranch UPS is extremely offensive to people when it comes to returns. Isn't that the truth! Good morning wonderful community. Wanted to reiterate a past posting about the UPS store on Portola near Wahoos. I didn't believe the post until I just experienced it for myself. Not just the rudeness from the owner but trying rip me off when trying to return two Amazon items that I had printed labels for boxes taped and ready to ship. Went to drop off to ship back to Amazon and the SOB told me that UPS now charges a $2.00 charge for a UPS plastic sleeve for each package. I laughed and walked out telling him I'd go to post and ship in Ralph's center. I asked the owner when I dropped off there if UPS was charging for the sleeves. He said absolutely not and would never do that. He laughed and said anytime I had a return to bring it there. Watch out for that UPS store everyone. As yelp doesn't allow you to reply to a post I will write it in the original Review. The owner apparently saw the post input on yelp and sent and sent a pre written response to the review I find it very funny that he thanked me For the lousy review and had the balls to say rules for Amazon. Funny that Bonny packagers were ready for Shipment taped and label in hand. There was no need for any services except for a couple free ups plastic sleeves to put labels in. He claimed that UPS charges 2.00 for the plastic sleeves which is Bill Sh...T. He can justify everyone's poor experiences to the customers fault. The most shady place I've ever dealt with. The staff and store manager Sean were very nice and patient. Your in and out of this location very quickly as well. I would recommend this location to do your shipping and returns. I have been coming to this location for the past 6 months and I had nothing but friendly, exceptional customer service. I come here for printing services, as well as amazon returns. There are times when amazon tells me just to scan the QR code at the UPS location with no box and no shipping label needed, other times is when I do have to package the item myself. Either way the service is never negative, they are transparent and friendly. Im not sure why certain people here are leaving negative reviews when all they needed to do was read the amazon instructions. Unfortunately I have had the opportunity to witness several people trying to make returns without packaging their items especially when amazon on their app is telling them to tape and having the label and box already prepared. In other words amazon is telling you well work with UPS but YOU NEED TO PACKAGE THE ITEM WITH SOME RETURNS, READ THE FINE PRINT ON AMAZON APP. The negative reviews seems to be from people being confused that some items UPS will package, tape and ship for you. Other items YOU have to do that. It seems like the people doing negative reviews didn't read the fine print on amazon. read more

I recently stopped in to return an amazon return where they were listed as a drop off location that accepted the QR code . I brought in a small package in its original shipping over box and had the QR code ready and was told that because it needed a 6" piece of tape they would need me to pay a service fee! UFB!!! Maybe a "hey it's the policy but since it's just a piece of tape I'll take care of it this time" would have got them their shipping fee from azon, kept a current customer happy and maybe this review would have been different. Seems petty but was a major pain and I will actually no longer ship anything from this location. read more
