Being my local UPS store and preferred Amazon return method, I frequent this location often. My most recent reason for visiting, was I needed a live scan, for a job I was eager to start. The company that hired me offered two other live scan companies as options. Both were closed on Sundays... And the one that was open on Saturdays, closed at 1pm. (I learned at 1230pm on Saturday) Knowing UPS offers live scans, I called to see if they hopefully had any appointments available. Melika answered the phone when I called. I appreciated her professionalism and her patience and answering all of my questions as well as setting my appointment with Sean for services same day. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by Samuel, who was helping another customer at the cash register. My mom came to this UPS location for a simple Amazon return, and what happened was disgraceful. She accidentally packaged her return incorrectly, and instead of helping her, the manager, Sean, talked to her with extreme rudeness and condescension. It genuinely felt like he was irritated because she does not speak English fluently. He made comments like "Can you not see? Can you not hear?" in front of other customers. Who talks to anyone like that, let alone someone who clearly just needed a little help? It was humiliating, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. No customer deserves to be spoken to that way. My mom left upset and embarrassed, and I am still angry just thinking about it. If this is how management treats people, especially those who may need a bit more patience, then this location desperately needs better training or better leadership altogether. I will absolutely be taking my business elsewhere, and I will be reporting this incident to UPS corporate. read more

One of the worst UPS stores I've ever been to. The guy is super aggressive and rude. Not welcoming or nice or helpful in any way, shape or form. He seems totally irritated that you're in his store and using his services. Each and every time I visit the store with myself or my partner, he has been rude, short and standoffish to us and others. He has two parking spots in the front that are blocked off with cones saying for customers, but there's no way any customers could park there because you would have to get out and move the cones and no one's going do that because he's so aggressive so they're always blocked and open. Unfortunately, a family member was here from out of town and witnessed such rudeness to another customer that he was shocked that anyone could run a company like this and still stay open. A gentleman was trying to complete a shipping transaction and the owner/manager was demeaning and rude. In the end, the box was full...so the customer was not in the wrong asking for help. Then the owner/manager told him to press the button saying "that was easy" to insult the customer even more! I stopped going here years ago when the owner/manager was rude to me about the new Amazon Return process. Again, I was trying to figure it out and he was demeaning! The store was quite busy during my visit, yet both employees remained warm, attentive, and patient with every client. I came in for notary services, and Sean and Melika were efficient and genuinely helpful. They even took turns, whenever a moment allowed, to briefly engage my very active child so I could focus on completing the paperwork and signing. I went in to The UPS Store today even though I didn't think I would return here again. I am glad I did. I'll be using The UPS Store in Foothill Ranch moving forward. I had to do an Amazon drop off return which is very easy to do yourself. I had one other item though, that needed a label to be printed and boxed. I wasn't sure how to go about it since I typically do returns without a need for a box or label. I was greeted and helped by, Sean. He was so kind to me. He tried to crack a joke but I was a too bit slow this afternoon and didn't get it the joke. It flew way over my head, embarrassingly high over my head honestly. He repeated himself but at the same time was patient. We got to talking a bit about the times. He made me smile, our talk made me pause and reflect. Sean, if you get a chance to read this, you made my day. I know you also made the lady before me smile and she was so grateful to you. This UPS store was super helpful. I came in here to get my live scanning done and Sean and Yvette was super nice and friendly while going through the whole process. I felt extremely bad because while I was here, there was one customer who came in and started yelling and cussing at them because he wasn't being "helped" (which was not true). There is a machine which has clear instructions and because he was just making an amazon return, he should have had no issue at all if he would have just read over the instructions. Do not go to this location. I had a package with the box already provided and label, the worker tells me I need to tape my box up myself, I ask him does he provide tape, says he does but they'll charge. Charging for tape is crazy but telling me I have to tape it up before offering to help is another thing. I'll never go to this location again, ended up going to another ups same day and was a completely different experience, packaged and shipped everything for me. I've been going to this UPS Store for some time now and it has always been a very pleasant postal experience until recently I've seen a shift in what appears to be customers understanding of this specific business. Based on what I've witnessed with some of the customers expectations of the employees; somewhere it has been forgotten or misunderstood that these stores provide essential business services like packing, shipping (UPS, USPS, freight), mailbox rentals, notary, printing, and shredding, acting as a local one-stop shop for small businesses and individuals needing convenient, specialized support beyond standard package delivery,. The operative phrase is "one-stop shop"; meaning they are not in the business of giving office supplies to customers like boxes and tape but providing office supplies for purchase. Many of the customers appear to be frustrated and upset because the employees will not "give" them tape or a box for their packaging; I know this because it happened to me. I didn't take it personal because I understood that they would not make any money providing me with tape to send back my Amazon back that they do not make any money on. It's really sad because the light heartedness and sense of humor of Sean and his team has now been replaced with trying to explain to people how to use Amazon and why they are unable to provide supplies from an office/business supply company. I guess ultimately customers either understand the purpose of the company or they might have to find somewhere that better suit their needs; ultimately Sean and his team do their best to provide consistent and reliable service in this specific UPS Store that is open 7 days a week with decent hours. If you know Sean; you know that he is a funny guy and tries to greet each customer with a personal greeting that might not always come across that way but trust me he really does care about the customers and any way he can be of a help. I cannot understand why the owner here is so reluctant to answer questions and give such answers unpleasantly. I asked him again to confirm where I'm dropping off my package, but he intentionally refuses and avoid to answer. Instead, thr customer next to him laughs at that situation. (She finds the situation funny too) There were packages mixed up in several places and I wanted to double check since I was wondering where I should put my package after processing it at the Kiosk at his request. We were very close and I asked him several times if this was the right place, but he clearly heard me but didn't look at me Nd ignored my words. The man is so completely rude, all I did was ask for help yesterday he said I needed a box so I went and got my box back and now I'm scanning my item and again he's lecturing me and I said yesterday I asked you for help and you said I needed a box so I went and got my box now please let me just do my return and he's still standing there lecturing me and telling me I can't come back yet. Just wow, I'm appalled that anyone runs a business this way. The manager here gives the rudest, angriest "service" I've ever experienced. I say this as someone who is generally fine without friendly customer service. My bar is pretty low, I just want to get the thing I'm there for, any pleasantries are just a lovely bonus. But never in my life have I been berated for needing the service that the business is supposed to provide (or berated at all as an adult), until coming to this particular store. This isn't just once. I could understand someone having a bad day. This man has been having a bad day every time I've come by to drop off a package over the last 5 years. Maybe he just hates me, maybe he hates other people who don't do everything perfectly or know exactly how everything should be processed on their own. Maybe he just needs people to yell at. Maybe he needs therapy. Masochists may enjoy this experience. Thanks to Amazon, most of us find ourselves at the UPS Store more often than we'd like -- so having a well-run location nearby really makes a difference! Today I stopped by this UPS Store about 20 minutes before opening, not realizing they weren't open yet. Sean, the owner, kindly let me in and helped me with my return even though he was busy getting the store set up for the day. That level of customer service is rare these days and truly appreciated. The two boys that work here are the rudest people I know. I'm sorry if your Amazon scanner is new and I didn't see it upon walking in. If a simple question is asked, you don't have to respond in such a rude manner. This attitude is not a "one off". Every time I've ever come into this store these two guys have been nothing but rude. Came in to return a package. Girl behind the counter refused to help me. Told me to do it myself at the kiosk. I asked if she could show me how. Nope. They refuse to give you any assistance. Horrid customer service at this location. I do my returns all the time at the RSM and Lake Forest locations and I have never had an employee refuse to assist me. I've had a P.O. Box at this UPS Store for a while now and it's easily the best experience I've had with any shipping or mail service--hands down. I'm in here all the time and the entire staff is consistently friendly, professional, and efficient. Sean in particular is a rockstar. No matter how busy it gets (and it definitely does), he handles everything with a calm, positive attitude and makes sure things run smoothly. This UPS store is understaffed and the manager is rude, condescending and refuses to assist individuals with Amazon returns even though the store is a contracted Amazon return location. I recently visited this store to ship a package via UPS. Although no one was in line ahead of me, I was made to wait over 5 minutes at the front counter. The manager saw me waiting, yet he was too busy to even acknowledge my presence.. I ended up walking out of the store and going to another UPS store to get my shipping needs taken care of. read more

He even provided reading glasses to an elderly lady having a tough time reading her phone/label. Tonight, the store was busy, and Seen still took the time to help me pack all of my packages and create labels for everything. This location is too close to my house so I have to keep using them, but I hate it there. The owner does not like you sending, returning, or anything involving packages lol! He especially hates holidays and will let you know as to not bother him during this time. He even tells me to avoid returns and just keep items to help him out. Uhh no. He openly talks bad about his customers or how dumb he thinks they are. I try to avoid eye contact or engage and when the owner engages... it's not to help. It's to ask some smart ass comment at you and what you're doing at the self service kiosk. He seems to make his staff miserable as well.
