Went in to ship / return a laptop purchased on Amazon who had originally sent it to me via FedEx however, Amazon had me return it via UPS. I placed the UPS label on the FedEx box and went to drop it off. The owner / manager at this location verbally chastised me and said he was going to charge me $15 since I brought it in a FedEx box. I explained to him that I was following Amazon's direction to return it in the original packaging to which he responded that Amazon isn't the shipper, he is. After looking on UPS's corporate site, I did nothing wrong by shipping it in a FedEx box (all previous labels had been removed) and there is NO mention of a $15 surcharge for shipping in another carrier's box. This UPS store is quite impressive. It's different from a typical UPS store I visited before. It's busy with very positive energy. Sean is quite a funny and helpful guy. Being my local UPS store and preferred Amazon return method, I frequent this location often. My most recent reason for visiting, was I needed a live scan, for a job I was eager to start. The company that hired me offered two other live scan companies as options. Both were closed on Sundays... And the one that was open on Saturdays, closed at 1pm. (I learned at 1230pm on Saturday) Knowing UPS offers live scans, I called to see if they hopefully had any appointments available. Melika answered the phone when I called. I appreciated her professionalism and her patience and answering all of my questions as well as setting my appointment with Sean for services same day. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by Samuel, who was helping another customer at the cash register. From start to finish I was impressed by the staff, as well as the price, I appreciated that there were . So if you need a live scan, notary, P.O. I refused to tell the owner, who interrupted my exchange with an employee while my receipt was printing, my ethnicity. He retaliated by calling me a bitch and shouting at me to get out of his store. And today I found out from the person I sent my package to, that the item arrived broken in half and the packaging was extremely beat up and dirty with rips all over it. In addition to filling a claim, I've also escalated this to corporate. I've been sending packages with UPS for a decade & not once has it arrived damaged. Don't go to this store! read more

One of the worst UPS stores I've ever been to. The guy is super aggressive and rude. Not welcoming or nice or helpful in any way, shape or form. He seems totally irritated that you're in his store and using his services. Each and every time I visit the store with myself or my partner, he has been rude, short and standoffish to us and others. He has two parking spots in the front that are blocked off with cones saying for customers, but there's no way any customers could park there because you would have to get out and move the cones and no one's going do that because he's so aggressive so they're always blocked and open. I would go to another UPS store if you can; there's a great one on Lake Forest. read more

The store owner is very nice and helpful. I go there for all of my shipping return and notary needs. It seems like they really know what they are doing. I had to return a second time for a notary process and he didn't even charge me because of it. It really shows the kindness and generosity of the store owner. I try to avoid going to this UPS Store whenever possible because of Shawn's consistently rude and unprofessional customer service. He has a tendency to snap at customers and belittle them, especially if they don't notice or follow one of the many signs posted around the Amazon return kiosk. Instead of politely explaining what to do, he often speaks in a harsh, condescending way that can make customers feel embarrassed and uncomfortable in front of others. Customer service should be about helping people, not making them feel small for asking a question or missing a sign. I really hope the way customers are treated at this location improves. read more

I went in to The UPS Store today even though I didn't think I would return here again. I am glad I did. I'll be using The UPS Store in Foothill Ranch moving forward. I had to do an Amazon drop off return which is very easy to do yourself. I had one other item though, that needed a label to be printed and boxed. I wasn't sure how to go about it since I typically do returns without a need for a box or label. I was greeted and helped by, Sean. He was so kind to me. He tried to crack a joke but I was a too bit slow this afternoon and didn't get it the joke. It flew way over my head, embarrassingly high over my head honestly. He repeated himself but at the same time was patient. We got to talking a bit about the times. He made me smile, our talk made me pause and reflect. Sean, if you get a chance to read this, you made my day. I know you also made the lady before me smile and she was so grateful to you. Go to another location! This is the only location that has a problem with anything Amazon. No other location has a problem with reusing packaging except this location. How is this place still open? The owner (Sean) is the rudest person. He yelled at me and told me to be quiet or just leave. I had a return with label that was for this shop so I couldn't and was having to wait for the kids to finish parking a bunch of returns. I asked if I was going to wait for my 30 second return and Sean the owner said yes. I told him I have a label and all he needs to do is scan and print my receipt. That's when he started yelling at me. This is fourth time I have seen him go off on clients. This person should not be in a business where he deals with the public. I will never return, there are many other UPS stores in the area that have qualified employees to deal with the public. read more
