I always receive thoughtful and helpful service from this UPS location. I work with Seen, who is knowledgeable and attentive to his customers. Tonight, the store was busy, and Seen still took the time to help me pack all of my packages and create labels for everything. And, at the same time, he was helping all of the people who came into the store to return Amazon packages using the new self-service machine. This location is too close to my house so I have to keep using them, but I hate it there. The owner does not like you sending, returning, or anything involving packages lol! He especially hates holidays and will let you know as to not bother him during this time. He even tells me to avoid returns and just keep items to help him out. Uhh no. He openly talks bad about his customers or how dumb he thinks they are. I try to avoid eye contact or engage and when the owner engages... it's not to help. It's to ask some smart ass comment at you and what you're doing at the self service kiosk. He seems to make his staff miserable as well. The owner: Sean runs this store very effectively and efficiently! It was my first time at his store and I was a little unprepared. As soon as I walk in there are signs directing you what to do. There is a station to easily and efficiently return your Amazon packages at a kiosk to the right side as you walk in. (I have to be honest that I am not efficient at Amazon returns but the experience at this UPS store was amazing as Sean guided me through the process. I had other returns to Amazon Fresh as Sean noticed and explained he could take the return at his own store since I was already there. He guided through process on my phone on the Amazon app, which only took a few clicks and wallah! Sean saved me a trip to Amazon Fresh (which was a few miles away, gas and time!) Great experience overall and I definitely recommend his UPS store as his personable customer experience and service was above and beyond!!!! Poor service compared to other UPS stores. They won't help you if your item has a prepaid label or QR code type return. Even with no line at their service desk, they make you go do their self service which requires you to package and print your return label. There's only 1 self service kiosk so the line builds up fast. Other UPS stores give you the option to self service or have them help you scan your return at the desk. Not only that, but they are not very friendly at all. I didn't know that they required me to use self service. I was the only one in line and after waiting about 7 min and my turn to go up, he told me to go read the sign and use self-service even though he wasn't helping anyone and could have easily scanned my packages. When I asked him where to put my packages after scanning, he acts as I'm inconveniencing him and that I should know already. The whole store's a mess and there's no sense of organization so NO it wasn't clear to me where I was supposed to put my packages. read more

It's a simple scan , I do it all the time - yet they have made it so difficult and time consuming . The owner is just a money hungry man. I had a UPS return used the self service option and used the same box it was delivered in. He grabbed my box said I had to purchase a box ship it in. It was already scanned when he ripped the label off. The package was lost in UPS due to him. I received a full refund from my vendor and I got to keep the product. This is just down the hill from my house and will not go here again. His greed is going to yield karma one day. Basically he is a POS cheat. Stay away. read more

I'm a regular at this UPS store with my frequent Amazon returns. They make it so easy to drop off packages and I'm always amazed at their efficiency. There's always a long line of people but the staff is quick and the line moves fast. The gentleman who is always there, I want to say his name is Sean? he is very attentive and knowledgeable. He helped me with my passport application, took my photo, packed it and made the whole process easy and stress free. I'd like to rate it a negative review but not an option. My daughter and I went to mail out a package with a prepaid UPS label. My daughter went to hand him the package and he said scan it yourself at the Amazon kiosk. It wasn't scanning and Owner refused to help us. So we walked out. A lady that was in line behind us let us know that he called us names in front of all employees and the ONe and ONLY customer after we walked out. A Kind women said I'll never go back there . That's not how you treat your customers. They nickel and dime you , you have to pay for tape. They don't want to help you!! Absolutely ridiculous from now on I will go to the UPS store in RSM . I have been there a few times and they said they constantly hear horror stories about the Foothill Ranch location and everybody tries to avoid them and comes to RSM!! I've had nothing but great experiences at this UPS Store. The man who works there is always kind, helpful, and patient. He takes the time to answer questions and is very respectful. There is an Amazon return machine inside the store that customers are supposed to use themselves, but not everyone realizes that, --it's just how Amazon set it up. We purchase a LOT of stuff from Amazon for work and as a result, we have a higher volume of returns than most people, sometimes walking in there with 20+ packages. I do my best to prepare them ahead of time so they are ready to scan so I can get through them as quickly as possible......WITH ALL OF THIS SAID, it's still a huge pain in the $#@% for everyone involved and from a few other UPS stores that are closer to the office, I've gotten dirty looks, comments, and actual requests to go somewhere else. We also ship a lot of UPS Ground and Next Day packages for work so sometimes I'm coming up with one or two carts full of returns and/or UPS packages. These guys at this UPS location have a.l.w.a.y.s. been on point....they've never complained about my volume, when they aren't too busy they offer to help bring in the packages, they've even let me use their cart when I forget mine at the office. Really a great team of people there, especially the owner, who always gives my two little daughters hand stamps when they come in with me. Obviously I'm not the only one that feels like this because at 5pm cut off, they usually have a wall of packages people have dropped off waiting to be picked up by the UPS truck. The other day they spent like 20 minutes with my helping me go through the customs form for a package I was shipping internationally. They had some other customers walk in and the owner actually came out from the back office to help the new customers that walked in the door so the other guy can continue helping me and make sure I did everything just right. This level of attention, professionalism, and just being decent people has been hard to find so after that amazing help last week, I felt moved to share my experience. read more

Been a customer here for at least 5 yrs. Horrible experience this morning. It's been a while since I had to return something and last time I did I just handed my prepaid package to staff behind counter and got my receipt. Quickly and nicely. Didn't want to start my day off by being talked to like I'm stupid. Not everyone is techie and can hear what's being said from the small automated screen WHILE trying to read ALL the paper signs at the self kiosk on what to do. I just kept thinking of my dad who is hard of hearing (not old) or my mom who is just not techie (still uses flip cell phone). I can only hope someone with customer service can walk over and show them how to work the kiosk if they ever need to do a return. Get them in and out. Like it used to be done if you have a prepaid label. Felt like being at the grocery story and doing self checkout and then have to wait for help cuz something didn't scan . A Little help the 2nd time would have been appreciated instead of being scolded the third time in front of customers. Taking my business to UPS store in neighboring city , NOW that I know what to do. And yes, I work in customer service and we also have a kiosk machine for security entry. The amount of times I have had to help people just "dropping" their ID into the machine because not every machine is the same. I don't get rude, mean or nasty because I have to stop what I'm doing. I just stand up and joke "ok next time I'm taking your credit card to scan and buying me a coffee " . We all walk away smiling! All I can do is wish this man's family is treated nicely and patiently when they need service from someone. And no I don't need any response from the "business owner" .
