I called this place on a Tuesday asking if they did passport photos for babies. I made sure to call around first because I know not all places will do passport for babies. They asked me how old he was and I told them he was two months old. They told me to bring him in and they can try. I came in on Thursday and the guy flat out told me no right away. I told him someone here said it was ok to come in. I have an infant child. I called specifically to ask before I came and told you exactly how old he was. If you can't do it, let people know. We used to love this place. The new ownership isn't serving the community. This location seems inconvenienced and annoyed at Amazon returns. Every time we've gone in to make a return they are so inhospitable and irritable. Why accept these returns if it is such a burden? I assume it because this location is paid by Amazon to do so. I have already lodged a complaint with Amazon directly because of how rude, dismissive, and difficult this location is when making these returns. If I could leave less than a star I would. These employees make it so uncomfortable and inconvenient to complete a return. Don't use them! Go elsewhere. There are other UPS drop off locations within a mile or so. Even the owner/operator's responses to bad reviews are telling. They too are dismissive, irritated, and don't address the bad service. It's a shame. read more

For some reasons I have several occasions that need documents notarized lately so I came to Foothill Post & Ship to take care of them. Kathryn is very attentive and thorough. She actually read the document and the instruction to notary to make sure it is done right. The fee is $15 per signature in case your want to know. While I was talking care of my business, I saw many people came in to drop off USPS packages in a bin. This is a free, safe and convenient alternative to using the mail boxes or driving to post offices to mail bulky items. I appreciated that they would give parcel sleeves free of charge and let you use tape free of charge. They charge for everything now and even charge for transactions under 5 dollars. Unfortunately, every older man who works here is extremely disgruntled. They are so particular about giving drop off receipts and seem extremely annoyed whenever you don't place a package exactly where they want you to put it I. I've been using Foothill Post and ship for years but today was my last day. They are charging for everything now even to use tape I had to go to my car and get $.25 to pay the guy. Customer service has gone downhill to the point where now I don't want to give them my business anymore. Such a bummer because I want to support local businesses. Within the past week aI dropped off an iPhone 11 with a shipping label provided by Apple for a return credit. The box was sealed with the phone inside. Several days later, the Apple return center called me to report they could not process my credit because the box arrived empty. Somewhere between this store and Apple this phone was stolen. I have no proof of who is the thief but I would be very careful of this location and Fed ex shipping. I won't be using this shipping location again. I would using caution when shipping your cell phone using the facilities I used. read more

Friendly place for quick dropoffs. I've been coming here for the past few years to ship UPS/USPS packages. Really easy to drop off, especially if you don't need to print shipping labels. USPS goes in the huge bins in the center of the place, and UPS gets dropped off at the counter. Plenty of parking in the lot. Easy peasy! read more

Let me get the slip for you so we can get those boxes taken care of. But by the way, we have introduced a new policy on boxes at the back door so let's work out how this can work for you in future because I know you get a lot of deliveries" Instead I got an arrogant/angry/disrespectful glare and was told in no uncertain terms to go to the front of the store to get my slip and get my boxes there. I've had a PO Box here well over 2 decades and use them almost exclusively for anything I can't ship myself. I've shipped all kinds of things over the years and they are great at accommodating it all. They don't mind at all processing pre printed fedex and ups labels even thought there is no profit in that. Went in to ship package, made me buy tape for 1 strip across box. I didn't have my car and my tape was in it. Would of paid for the strip, then charged me $5 for the tape because to use a card minimum is $5. The 2 men watched me as I taped the box and watched me struggle to peel the tape back. Then the hero came and had self adhesive tape for my label that I brought in. He didn't have to print it. As I was leaving he tried to give me the package back. I'm like, What??? You are supposed to ship it, right??? I guess they really didn't want to help me. The company where i shipping my package to said all I had to do was hand them the label and another paper and they will do the rest. That's why it wasn't taped at home. I can elsewhere to self serve. I don't need 2 men watching me . Plus making me pay for tape, even suggested 6 rolls for $25. Lolol no way. Very disappointed that 2 men couldn't find kindness in their heart to help a customer. I had my service dog with me and she was trying to get me out. Sorry but I will be going somewhere else even though it's further away. Price and attitude, kindness and helpfulness go a long way. If anyone of them would of said I'm sorry we can't offer to tape your box or use our tape, I would understood. No communication at all. Foothill Post and Ship is close to home and has been my go to shipping place for 3 years. What I love about this place is the friendly customer service and how they take of my shipping needs. Lately, I've been a little disappointed by their staff. They still take of my needs but they're not as friendly as the people I've become accustomed to. I think all employee practices should be seamless and I should get the same experience from everyone. Shame on me for not reviewing this place sooner. The closest post office to Foothill Ranch is in Lake Forest on El Toro Rd, so Foothill Post & Ship is Incredibly CONVENIENT when you're trying to send mail ASAP, and without having to wait in a long line. They have various types of envelopes (large, small, cushioned, sturdy envelopes for photos, etc), boxes, packing material, and other office supplies you may need for your delivery. They also have a few PO Boxes. My favorite part about Foothill Post is Lisa, if she's still there. She is incredibly knowledgeable about Everything to do with mailing. For example, she knew so many alternative ways to ship an electronic device outside the US: fastest, cheapest, etc. She even explained insurance options. The customer service is unlike anything you would get at the post office. She's also a notary republic, so that helps a bundle too if you're looking for one. The downside is that it's overall more expensive to ship out from here. I would not suggest buying stamps here, and just purchasing it from Ralph's grocery store next door. However, you really get your money's worth in terms of customer service and peace of mind. read more

This place continues to overcharge for shipping and taking advantage of people. Today I attempted to mail two envelopes on which I had placed priority mail labels which I had cut to only contain the white portion with no priority mail words showing. They insisted it must still be charged the priority mail price(ridiculously expensive there) because I had used a white label that used to say priority mail. So I paid $17 to mail envelopes containing merchandise worth about $5.00. They also refused fo give me the book rate since one was books. This used to be a nice family oriented business but us now a bunch of greedy people wishing to take advantage of people. Sadly , I was ill and could not get fo the PO so I paid their greedy price. 10/19/2020 - Horrible experience and PRICE gouging. I will NOT be giving them any of my business ever again. Needed to send time sensitive documents overnight to NC on 10/19/2020 with the earliest delivery time. Spoke with Eric who suggested using FEDEX next day air by 10:30am for their premium delivery tier at $55.36 or FEDEX next day air by end of day for $43.55. Considering the sensitivity of the documents, I opted for the premium service by 10:30am and paid $55.36 The next morning I received an email from the bank that they had not received my package yet. I immediately contacted FEDEX to track my package and after speaking with FEDEX, they informed me that the shipper Post & Ship (Eric) had selected their cheaper standard next day service which does not have a commitment time, and not their premium delivery service by 10:30am that I had been charged for. Thinking it was an honest mistake, I contacted Post & Ship and spoke with Eric to find out what had happened and I was shocked when he completely denied our conversation from the day before claiming that he had offered me the 10:30am delivery commitment for $57.45 but I chose instead to go with end of the day for $55.36 to save $2.00 dollars.... Are you kidding me!!!!!, unbelievable that he would make up a lie like that considering I had mentioned to him more than once that I didn't mind paying more for the earliest next day service. I also asked him why was I charged a premium price if that was not the service I was going to getting, and his reply was everyone that comes in here should expect to pay premium pricing...WOW good to know, never again.. read more
