10/19/2020 - Horrible experience and PRICE gouging. I will NOT be giving them any of my business ever again. Needed to send time sensitive documents overnight to NC on 10/19/2020 with the earliest delivery time. Spoke with Eric who suggested using FEDEX next day air by 10:30am for their premium delivery tier at $55.36 or FEDEX next day air by end of day for $43.55. Considering the sensitivity of the documents, I opted for the premium service by 10:30am and paid $55.36 The next morning I received an email from the bank that they had not received my package yet. I immediately contacted FEDEX to track my package and after speaking with FEDEX, they informed me that the shipper Post & Ship (Eric) had selected their cheaper standard next day service which does not have a commitment time, and not their premium delivery service by 10:30am that I had been charged for. Thinking it was an honest mistake, I contacted Post & Ship and spoke with Eric to find out what had happened and I was shocked when he completely denied our conversation from the day before claiming that he had offered me the 10:30am delivery commitment for $57.45 but I chose instead to go with end of the day for $55.36 to save $2.00 dollars.... Are you kidding me!!!!!, unbelievable that he would make up a lie like that considering I had mentioned to him more than once that I didn't mind paying more for the earliest next day service. I also asked him why was I charged a premium price if that was not the service I was going to getting, and his reply was everyone that comes in here should expect to pay premium pricing...WOW good to know, never again.. read more

This place is very convenient to me, it's located just down the road and much less the hassle than dealing with post office. I've used their services many occasions and can't say enough about the good service I've experienced here. The owner is friendly, personable and always helpful. I've never had to wait much while visiting. In and out simple and fast. They have a notary on staff that will cost $10 a signature and I'f you need a copy of something it will cost you $1. Im not sure what other places charge for this stuff so I'll just assume this prices are fair rates. read more

2nd or third time here, and always had a good experience. I hate going to the post office as they are always so snudy and rude, you feel like you can't ask a question there. I dealt with Jade and she was very helpful, and was the complete opposite. I'd rather give my business here, any day versus the post office. Yes their prices are a tiny tad more, but c'mon I'd rather pay a bit more for fantastic customer service than to save .25 cents. They give me a few options to choose from and will help me pack it up if needed. I've been to other ship stores and they always seem rude and snarky. Not here! I have been coming to this business for years and the lady who works there is extremely nice and professional. However, her husband is a very unpleasant and unprofessional person. He is always in a bad mood every time I have had an encounter with him and seems to hate dealing with the public. He should probably find a different job where he doesn't have to deal with the public or maybe get some therapy. Their prices are outrageous to boot! I ship from this location often, usually once a week. I print my own shipping labels at home and drop off my packages, which are either USPS or UPS. I've never had a problem with one of my packages being lost. I've seen several reviews where people complain about the prices, but if you print your own postage USPS gives you an online discount. If you have a computer, printer, paper and tape there's no reason why you shouldn't take advantage of the discount and convenience. Currently a 1 pound Priority Mail package from Foothill Ranch to Ohio would cost $7.15 if purchased at the Post Office or a postal provider. If you print your own postage at home you can save 65 cents and pay $6.51. As far as customer service is concerned I haven't had a problem, although my interaction is usually minimal. read more

I came in close to closing time this afternoon to ship some items back to eBay. The attendant, Richard, was friendly and so helpful. He first packaged up my items in the original box that I had brought and showed me all the comparison rates of other carriers. Just as he was ringing up the total, he then realized the contents of the items could fit inside a smaller, flat-rate box and suggested I use that instead to save me some money. Even though it was past closing time, he patiently re-opened the original box up and repackaged everything into the smaller box for me, all the while thanking ME for my patience! By doing that, he saved me $25!! I'm so thankful for his excellent customer service and appreciate his willingness to put the customer ahead of profit. And he didn't even charge me extra for the additional effort he expended or for the packing materials he used. Thank you, Richard! We'll definitely keep using your service! read more

I went to Foothill Post & Ship on Saturday @ 1:15pm to deliver important documents to ship our pet overseas. I was advised by Kevin (?) that the documents would be received on Monday 2/18/19 by 10:30am. He asked his co-worker if the FedEx guy had been there yet and she said that he would be there at 1:30pm. I verified what he said by repeating it back to him and asked him if the delivery would be affected by Presidents day. He replied no and confirmed again that the docs would be received by Monday @ 10:30am. I paid $33 for this service. I texted the recipient of docs and asked her if Monday @ 10:30am would work and she said yes. The recipient of the package did not receive the docs today @ 10:30am and when I called Foothill Post and Ship, I was advised by Kevin that he said Tuesday 2/19 @ 10:30am. I know for a fact this is absolutely not true. This paperwork had to get to the agency shipping our dog, every paper was certified and signed originals and I repeated everything twice to ensure accuracy and no mistakes/misunderstandings. I talked to Katherine today who is "acting manager" and was there on Saturday. She said that she overheard him tell me Tuesday @ 10:30am, even though she was helping 2 other people during the time I was with Kevin. She told me that my packaged had still not yet been picked up from FedEx and if I wanted, I could come and pick it up. WORST customer service ever. read more

First and last time here. I called in to get a price to ship a small box usps priority mail to avoid going to the post office and was quoted no more than $7.78 as long that it didn't exceed 13 ounces. I went in and started the process to ship and they charged me $9.95, I asked the young lady the weight of the package and said that it was 1lb. I knew she was lying but did not want to make a scene because there were other customers. I paid and left (not happy) and then checked the receipt and the weight was 8 ounces! This is the second time I have gone there in the morning only to not be helped. The gentleman that works there is overwhelmed by more than one customer. And rude on top of it! It's over priced, understaffed and aside from the 2 women that work there...inhospitable. If you need a convenient PO Box, maybe and that's a maybe. Any other service is sub par and with an attitude. We have been coming to Post&Ship since they opened. It is so convenient and the staff is very knowledgeable and gives different options on shipping one's package. I have never had a package lost. My husband has a P.O. box here and there is never a problem with his mail. Lisa is a notary and that is a plus. They are super nice even when customers are not so nice during the holiday rush. Terrible company. I've been patient with them, but I always get screwed. I ask for tracking and get charged that rate to find out that I got useless delivery confirmation. They always charge the screw ya rate and prey on the inexperienced. I am disappointed in them. They claim to be religious, but they are predators. They need to go out of business if they have to screw you to make a buck. All other places if used check to make sure what you need....they check to make sure that you're not sure so they can screw ya. They should be called "Foothill Post & Screw. read more

Dan manages that store at a snail's pace and is very rude and condescending. I waited a very long time for him to notarize a document. I asked a couple of simple questions on the document his response was who's the notary me or him? Gee Dan, since it's only the 2nd document I ever had notarized and I am ultimately responsible for the document's accuracy as well as being the customer....I think you could have tried to pull out some customer service skills. I work in the area and picked this as a postal mail box while I was between a place to live. It has worked out so well I just have kept most of my mail sent to my box here. The staff has been great. Sometimes they are really busy so I can see why someone who doesn't go every day could get the wrong vibe, they get stretched thin, like during the Christmas rush.. For as many Amazon packages as I get, and with no one at home to sign for them, this service is very valuable to me. I just paid for my box here for the next year. I love this place! The owners are friendly, albeit the wife is more so than the husband. We live close by and I regularly use them to mail packages or to buy stamps. I would much rather pay a few dollars more than to have to drive miles to the post office. They are very helpful! I went in yesterday wanting to mail 2 loaves of bread to Central CA.. I went there because I knew they would know how best to box it up and also give me options on shipping choices. Mr. Dan found the best box and even put it together and taped the box up for me. I had several choices for shipping. I did not want the 63.00 overnite choice and he told me I could use Fedex ground for 22.00 but if it did not arrive on Saturday that they do not deliver again until Tuesday. He helped me choose the less expensive, 12.00 Priority Mail. If you need things mailed, I highly recommend this postal business!! read more

If you like paying three times the amount as the USPS and like rude service come here ! I'm all about supporting small local businesses but I will not be coming here anymore.I went there today to ship a 1.2 pound package to Florida ,very small 3 CDs and a computer part smaller then a ring box.The gentleman there was with another customer,waiting for her to repackage a box.I did not receive a hello or anything.As he's just waiting standing there waiting for her, he decides he'll help me.I said I need to ship this small box the least expensive way to Florida he tells me I cannot use the USPS box which its in and I can buy a small box from him for a $1.75 which was fine.He puts the box on the scale and tells me he needs the zip code which I give to him .Then tells me its going to be $17.95 regular mail and it would take seven days to get there I was so shocked that I looked down and said a explecitive under my breath,which I shouldn't have done but wow!..I told him I sold them item for $30 !He took the package off the scale and walked back to the other lady.I walked outside and called my girlfriend she said why would you go there,that place is expensive !.....go to the USPS and get a flat rate $5.95 priority mail box which are free by the way.I wanted to know why he was so expensive so I walked back in to double check and see if he was positive this was the cheapest way to ship it.He told me with a big time attitude that if I don't like his prices go some where else.I told him I would and his attitude was horrible! So he says let's go talk outside which we do.He procides to tell me how we live in a capitalist society and he's going to make his money.I said that's fine good for him.I told him I paid $5 to have the box shipped to me and he said that's not possible and that the person who shipped me the box must be shipping out alot of packages to get me shipping that cheap.Whatever dude ! If you want to go and charge customers that much because we live in a capitalist socity that's on you.I won't pay that and I hope people in Foothill won't pay that.So I made the 5min drive to the RSM post office and got the $5.95 flat rate priority mail box and shipped it.It was that easy ! I delt with an employee who was really helpful and nice who even told me to take boxes and shipping stickers home ,and to ship with them and I'll get even a better price.So I just had my girlfriend call up Jade the other owner who has for the most part been pretty nice ,and ask if they have the USPS priority flat rate boxes and she said yes.So here's what I don't understand why would the gentleman there not tell me about the $5.95 flat rate shipping with the box free ?That is not right ! That is point blank taking advantage of a customer ! I asked for the least expensive way to ship my items and he wasn't truthfull with me.Please people don't over pay for shipping and don't let rude store owners take advantage of you.Its just not right. read more

I've gone in to Post N Ship frequently, usually just to drop off packages pre addressed and labeled. All of my experiences have been excellent even though I've never bought anything. Today I had to have a jacket RMA'd back to a vendor. The gentleman working the counter (whom I believe is the owner) was very helpful. Packed the jacket and shipped it no problem. The whole time I was there it just felt like that old time Ma and Pop shop. If I wasn't paying an obscenely low amount for a PO box in Irvine I would be moving the account to this location. read more

Not recommend using this place to drop off your packages. They will charge you 3-4 times of the normal fee for sending small packages under 13 ounces. The 1st time I was charged $9 and today $6.05 for a tiny ultra lightweight package. I didn't want to stand there and argue with the guy because it's not worth it and pointless. For bigger packages that weight less than 13 ounces I usually could ship them for around $3 or less at the real USPS locations. I only used this location 2 times for emergency drop off at work and will not be back. These guys are cold blooded robbers (so pathetic) read more
