We have been using this business for a long time, longer than you can imagine and this day was the very first time that a staff actually was impolite , discourteous, rude and unprofessional.. We arrived with a return and just because the item was huge we gave her the consideration to bring it to the side but we got her attention that we needed her to scan it for return.. No reply.. We waited 5 mins and still she was attending to her laptop and other walk in customers .. One man walked in and she also snobbed him .. She walked out of her desk to get something she printed and she walked pass us and nothing.. We called her attention again and still she attended to other new customers until one nice guy worker came probably from his break and we told him to scan the return because we've been waiting for more than 15 mins.. I recently visited the USPS location in Fairfield for some mailing and package services. On the plus side, USPS gets the job done when it works...you can drop off packages, get mail handled, and generally walk out knowing your parcel is in the system. But in my experience (and from what I've heard from others), the service can be quite frustrating at times: long wait times if you go in the afternoon; sometimes the staff seem overwhelmed or not very friendly; and it's hard getting help over the phone or when asking for assistance in person. All in all: USPS is useful and often necessary, but you might have to be patient...and maybe try to visit during off-peak hours if you can. read more

This place is understaffed and unprofessional. Zero customer service skills. I was notified that my package was delivered but when I go to pick it up they can't locate it. The lady behind the counter told me that an employee named Leigh signed for it but he barely works there and if he did it's probably in Sacramento. What? That doesn't help me at all. This is the worst service I received from a UPS employee this afternoon 3/6/2023, i have a mailbox for as long as they have been open and a loyal customer. This employee (she must be few) was very rude and disrespectful. A customer was dropping a package while I patiently waited. As soon as the customer stepped out. This employee grumbled loudly that the customer should have known the package wouldn't fit in the box the customer used. I was still standing while she grumbled. I started to tell her what I needed, she wouldn't even let me speak, she told me I had to wait in a rude and loud voice. Another employee came by and helped me. Complete scam! Just returned an item for Amazon where it was made clear in writing that the UPS Store would box the item for no charge. They forced me to pay $7.50 for a small box. I even showed them my receipt with the scan barcode that shows I didn't have to box the item. Side note. I actually brought in 2 items and I put them in the same box. They were from the original same order and are being returned to the exact same location. Last time I was in here, they said that works. This time they said they have to be in two separate boxes, hence the second box that I had to pay for today. Remember, I have a receipt that shows I didn't have to pay for that box by Amazon. This is clean and friendly UPS location. It is a smaller location. They have a variety of envelopes and packing supplies as you walk in yo the right. The big bonus is the USPS drop off inside too. There are no blue USPS boxes in the area so this is a great place to mail both UPS and USPS packages. read more

I have been visiting this store for about a year now. The manager is hand's on when it gets too busy for her overwhelmed staff. That is impressive all by itself! All Staff are Polite, Very Friendly, And they will Bend Over Backwards to make your visit a smooth one. I adore the staff that works there, but have some suggestions for the OWNER, about things that most customers would LOVE to be changed eventually. Hopefully Sooner than Later, in many customer's Opinions. First, FedEx. You receive their packages, but won't send them out. Despite the fact that Safeway has FedEx Drop Off Area, that is really NOT convenient, and that a majority of customers want a "One Stop Shopping Experience." Standing in a long line at your facility in order to ship some UPS packages, and maybe, a Few DHL packages, is all fine and dandy. BUT, God Help The Paying Consumer who innocently TRIES to hand over the DREADED FedEx Package!! Or Even a USPS Package that your company won't accept completely, and can't give you a printed tracking # "Because, we don't process USPS Outgoing Packages or ANYTHING! "Just Chuck it in that White, Plastic Looking Bin at the end, before the P.O. Boxes, on your left hand side." This is an unfriendly & horrible business plan, which makes ZERO SENSE! And, "No Way Jose! This store won't/can't print out a receipt for USPS. I hold my breath as I pray that my $500 package will make it out of that unsecured area, called "The White Box." You Receive My Packages & Deliveries from USPS AND FEDEX on a Daily schedule ( Not including Sundays), why can't I make a Return Happen too, which should include a Tracking Receipt!? I don't think that you understand what these poor employees have to deal with! This includes, arguments, dissatisfied customers, AND POTENTIALLY, Putting your employees in harm's way, because they have to deal with some irate and irrational WANT TO PAY NOW, and GET MY TRACKING RECEIPT, because I have been waiting in this line too darn long! Do you even have WEEKLY STAFF Meetings? I am guessing; NOT. And it truly Shows. Some Newer Staff Members, don't even know, or direct the customer to go to Safeway in order to Drop Off and Obtain A Tracking Receipt (Proof Necessary to get a Refund or Exchange Done PROPERLY. And, MOST TIMES, we have to stand patiently in ANOTHER LINE; THAT IS IF THEY HAVE ANY STAFF AVAILABLE TO DO THIS JOB. Shipping is really NOT a Safeway "Thing". 2nd Issue; what is up, overcharging customer's with P.O. Boxes a WHOPPING $2.50 for the First Page, then 25-20 CENTS FOR ADDITIONAL Print-outs for Return Labels? Your P.O. customer's are Basically, your Bread & Butter, so to speak, and I call that STINGY. It's not like I wanted to print out a large novel, Or was trying to take advantage of your store. When I send my Shipping Label to your email, I'm pretty sure that your employee's Can Tell that it is, in deed, JUST ONE PAGE OF A SHIPPING LABEL! How much does ONE PIECE OF WHITE PAPER COST? 1/16 of a PENNY? I am seriously considering taking my Bread & Butter away from your store, and finding a more practical way to get my work done in a non stressful, non stingy, & SAFER ENVIRONMENT. And, I'm pretty positive that these issues have come up by other customers, who also took their cash to a different, CHEAPER, non stingy, all in one, Safer Shipping Store. The employee was not trained on international shipping and did not fill out the address correctly or all they way. My package didn't arrive and was considered abandoned. They wanted me to pay for "half" the fees to get it back when in the first call to the owner she stated the employee didn't know what she was doing! Half was going to be more than what I paid to internationally overnight the package. When I ask the owner to produce an invoice showing that was half she yelled and hung up.This means I'm out the brand new jacket in the package ($130) and the shipping fees ($165). When I walked into this location I did not see any employees. I looked around and saw employee Jessica with her bare feet perched up on a table in the back relaxing. She put on her shoes and came to help me. She did not greet me and defiantly had an "I don't want to be here" attitude. I had a very important package that I needed mailed overnight and Jessica simply said we cant do that, with no further explanation. After expressing to her the importance of the package she continued with her attitude and was very unaccommodating. I asked her why my total for one small package was $18.25 and she said I don't know. As a UPS employee I would except her to know the reason my package came out to that much and do everything in her power to be more accommodating. If I wasn't in such a time crunch, I would've walked out and went somewhere else. People's mail are very important to them, as this package was very important to me, and I did not get the sense she cared at all. Go to a different UPS location or choose another form of mailing service all together. read more

Wow completely the most unprofessional and tacky place I've been to. I literally just left and I'm pissed. First the workers on duty didn't even greet me finally I just told them I need to print something. The woman named Renee just told me to put my usb in the machine, and just pointed across the room! That should have been red flag number one!!! So here I am trying to work this machine and I keep looking for help and she continues to stand behind the desk offering no help. Eventually I just say hey I don't know how to work this machine and she says me Either! What in the world are you working here for! I never had a problem with this UPS store. I always go to this location when I need something done through UPS. The services offered here are pretty standard of any UPS store. They sell packaging boxes, you can ship your stuff, etc. This location also notarizes documents. The service reps are knowledgeable about the process and didn't seem clueless at all. If you need it, it's there. The staff at this location is very nice and friendly. I dropped off packages here many times and haven't had any issues. The location is pretty convenient as it's in the Cordelia Business Center and near other places. I can't find much wrong here. My final thought: Great service + Great location = 5 Stars! read more

Does that include $14,500 insurance?" She answered yes. I completed the contract with my buyer to include the $150 insurance, but when I arrived to the UPS store to ship, the price to ship BEFORE insurance was $150. She under quoted me by $250. No apology. The manager didn't care which of her employees might have misquoted me. They don't care at this location and there is no attention to detail or sense of responsibility. (I was having an apple product shipped to the company for repair, and UPS has to contact them to get their $). OK fine, I wanted to leave the information that they needed to contact the company since Apple said it takes up to an hour. That way they could start the process and I could come in and complete anything that was still needed and give them the phone to ship. NO! Green Valley and Cordelia are in serious need of a post office! The fact that we're all trying to use this terrible place for our mailing and shipping services is pathetic. I was mailing a number of letters priority mail and thought I'd save gas and go here. First off, they don't have the priority envelopes with the see-through window that you can just drop your envelope in. Second, they asked if I wanted the additional tracking service (as if there was a charge); when I told them tracking is included in Priority mail the response was a disappointed "oh yeah." But the final thing: a four-dollar upcharge. Yes, not 5.05 or 5.75 plus a buck or buck fifty. $9.75!! And the shoulder-shrugging "we've been here 20 years" response...? I can print my own UPS labels online, and I *will* just drive to Fairfield for the post office. read more
