Excellent location... UPS store is conveniently located next to Safeway, CVS, TJ Maxx in a strip mall, so drop offs are super easy if you have packages to mail. They have never lost any of my packages so A+ for that! Customer service is efficient. Not the most friendly, or engaging, but they get the job done, so I'm not complaining. One experience that I had was coming here on a weekday and the sign and business hours said they opened at 9am. It was 9:30 am 3 other customers were standing outside holding their packages and checking their phones or watches because the store wasn't open yet. I decided not to wait around because who knew when they would actually open. I had to make a separate trip which was a bit irritating that they weren't actually open during their stated business hours. Other than that, I've had no issues. read more

We have been using this business for a long time, longer than you can imagine and this day was the very first time that a staff actually was impolite , discourteous, rude and unprofessional.. We arrived with a return and just because the item was huge we gave her the consideration to bring it to the side but we got her attention that we needed her to scan it for return.. No reply.. We waited 5 mins and still she was attending to her laptop and other walk in customers .. One man walked in and she also snobbed him .. She walked out of her desk to get something she printed and she walked pass us and nothing.. We called her attention again and still she attended to other new customers until one nice guy worker came probably from his break and we told him to scan the return because we've been waiting for more than 15 mins.. This woman should not be in the front desk because she fails to attend to customers' needs, let alone didn't have the audacity to respond to us. read more

The UPS Store - Poor customer service - Shipping Centers Near Me - Fairfield, California

As we first walked in the service was pretty good. As we started talking to the employee and we were confused on what certain things that needed to be done she told us we needed a form and gave a look and just shrugged, instead of trying to help. Moving forward once we solved the issue she proceeds to just get on a phone call while we're right in front of her. Which was very unprofessional and rude she did not excuse herself to take a call but just had us wait when she was off the phone. Not only but also afterwards decided to keep a airpod in while we are providing our personal information. Afterwards we watched as all the other employees would get off their phone and provide full attention to customers except us. For someone who just moved out here recently it was very distasteful to have that kind of service all other locations of ups i have went to have never been so bad as this location. All the other workers were extremely attentive, nice, and friendly. As i stated in the beginning as "we " it was my friend joining me as well we both had to get the same documents done, but apparently us both sending a email to just only serve one person ? Maybe we got the wrong person on their worst day. If you want good service just do not ask for Gurwinder Kaur read more

What happened to my friend I think her name was Kathy the older white lady. She's gone! She helped me so much. Some people thought she was mean but she meant business! Now The Indian workers there are very knowledgeable and they are always willing to help. Great job read more

Not necessarily the friendliest staff, but the service is always super fast. I am always able to get in and out whenever I come to this store. read more

I recently visited the USPS location in Fairfield for some mailing and package services. On the plus side, USPS gets the job done when it works...you can drop off packages, get mail handled, and generally walk out knowing your parcel is in the system. But in my experience (and from what I've heard from others), the service can be quite frustrating at times: long wait times if you go in the afternoon; sometimes the staff seem overwhelmed or not very friendly; and it's hard getting help over the phone or when asking for assistance in person. All in all: USPS is useful and often necessary, but you might have to be patient...and maybe try to visit during off-peak hours if you can. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Would NEVER recommend this buisness the franchise owner Sue doesn't take accountability for her staffs improper training OR mistakes I've had MULTIPLE boxes come up missing Or put in someone else's box. I've been doing buisness here over 2yrs and I'm extremely disappointed how they treat buisness owners as well as there customer service is complete trash. Update: as you guys can see they do not take accountability for there errors or wrong doing. Instead they justify multiple errors by twisting it back on the customer. Nice try! read more

staff is rude. when asked for an employees name so that I could talk to the manager about our interaction she said "no". charged to put a box in a box and then charged for the packing material and for her to place the box in a box. I delivered packages for UPS for 28 years. I know what a box and I know I did not need a box to put the box in. all it needed was a label. I know that this place ripping people off. just be aware. read more

Fast service. In and Out in less than five minutes. No issues could use the service again to send packages.

This place is understaffed and unprofessional. Zero customer service skills. I was notified that my package was delivered but when I go to pick it up they can't locate it. The lady behind the counter told me that an employee named Leigh signed for it but he barely works there and if he did it's probably in Sacramento. What? That doesn't help me at all. Now I'm stuck to either reorder my package or file a complaint with UPS. No assistance at all to help locate my missing package. read more

Renee is very rude. First thing she says when we walk up to her she goes "what do you want?" and we tell her it's for notarizing some paperwork for my job. She immediately exhales and rolls her eyes like we inconvenienced her? If you don't like doing your job, get a new one. Simple. There's no need for the attitude, no need for the rolling the eyes. And she barely talked to us after that. Just filled out her part on my sheet so it did not seem like a complicated job. Readjust your attitude or find a different job. read more

This is the worst service I received from a UPS employee this afternoon 3/6/2023, i have a mailbox for as long as they have been open and a loyal customer. This employee (she must be few) was very rude and disrespectful. A customer was dropping a package while I patiently waited. As soon as the customer stepped out. This employee grumbled loudly that the customer should have known the package wouldn't fit in the box the customer used. I was still standing while she grumbled. I started to tell her what I needed, she wouldn't even let me speak, she told me I had to wait in a rude and loud voice. Another employee came by and helped me. I have options, and may move my business closer to my home. read more

Complete scam! Just returned an item for Amazon where it was made clear in writing that the UPS Store would box the item for no charge. They forced me to pay $7.50 for a small box. I even showed them my receipt with the scan barcode that shows I didn't have to box the item. Side note. I actually brought in 2 items and I put them in the same box. They were from the original same order and are being returned to the exact same location. Last time I was in here, they said that works. This time they said they have to be in two separate boxes, hence the second box that I had to pay for today. Remember, I have a receipt that shows I didn't have to pay for that box by Amazon. Extremely inconsistent instructions. Non-compliance of a written policy from Amazon. I was told to call Amazon about this. And people complain about Trump! read more

This is clean and friendly UPS location. It is a smaller location. They have a variety of envelopes and packing supplies as you walk in yo the right. The big bonus is the USPS drop off inside too. I have been visiting this store for about a year now. The manager is hand's on when it gets too busy for her overwhelmed staff. That is impressive all by itself! All Staff are Polite, Very Friendly, And they will Bend Over Backwards to make your visit a smooth one. I adore the staff that works there, but have some suggestions for the OWNER, about things that most customers would LOVE to be changed eventually. Hopefully Sooner than Later, in many customer's Opinions. First, FedEx. You receive their packages, but won't send them out. Despite the fact that Safeway has FedEx Drop Off Area, that is really NOT convenient, and that a majority of customers want a "One Stop Shopping Experience." Standing in a long line at your facility in order to ship some UPS packages, and maybe, a Few DHL packages, is all fine and dandy. BUT, God Help The Paying Consumer who innocently TRIES to hand over the DREADED FedEx Package!! Or Even a USPS Package that your company won't accept completely, and can't give you a printed tracking # "Because, we don't process USPS Outgoing Packages or ANYTHING! "Just Chuck it in that White, Plastic Looking Bin at the end, before the P.O. Boxes, on your left hand side." This is an unfriendly & horrible business plan, which makes ZERO SENSE! And, "No Way Jose! This store won't/can't print out a receipt for USPS. I hold my breath as I pray that my $500 package will make it out of that unsecured area, called "The White Box." You Receive My Packages & Deliveries from USPS AND FEDEX on a Daily schedule ( Not including Sundays), why can't I make a Return Happen too, which should include a Tracking Receipt!? I don't think that you understand what these poor employees have to deal with! This includes, arguments, dissatisfied customers, AND POTENTIALLY, Putting your employees in harm's way, because they have to deal with some irate and irrational WANT TO PAY NOW, and GET MY TRACKING RECEIPT, because I have been waiting in this line too darn long! Do you even have WEEKLY STAFF Meetings? I am guessing; NOT. And it truly Shows. Some Newer Staff Members, don't even know, or direct the customer to go to Safeway in order to Drop Off and Obtain A Tracking Receipt (Proof Necessary to get a Refund or Exchange Done PROPERLY. And, MOST TIMES, we have to stand patiently in ANOTHER LINE; THAT IS IF THEY HAVE ANY STAFF AVAILABLE TO DO THIS JOB. Shipping is really NOT a Safeway "Thing". 2nd Issue; what is up, overcharging customer's with P.O. Boxes a WHOPPING $2.50 for the First Page, then 25-20 CENTS FOR ADDITIONAL Print-outs for Return Labels? Your P.O. customer's are Basically, your Bread & Butter, so to speak, and I call that STINGY. It's not like I wanted to print out a large novel, Or was trying to take advantage of your store. When I send my Shipping Label to your email, I'm pretty sure that your employee's Can Tell that it is, in deed, JUST ONE PAGE OF A SHIPPING LABEL! How much does ONE PIECE OF WHITE PAPER COST? 1/16 of a PENNY? I am seriously considering taking my Bread & Butter away from your store, and finding a more practical way to get my work done in a non stressful, non stingy, & SAFER ENVIRONMENT. And, I'm pretty positive that these issues have come up by other customers, who also took their cash to a different, CHEAPER, non stingy, all in one, Safer Shipping Store. You, as an owner, are NOT HELPING YOUR BUSINESS SUSTAIN ITSELF AND I DON'T RESPECT A BUSINESS OWNER WHO PUTS THEIR EMPLOYEES IN HARM'S WAY. WHAT IF, somebody gets so irate that a gun, knife, or something worse comes out, and people get hurt, or worse, get killed? Over something that could have, would have, should of been PREVENTED AND FIXED, BEFORE an Employee, or a Customer got hurt by someone that is clearly frustrated, angry, all they are seeing is RED? What's your business plan for Employee and Customer Safety? NOT GOOD! We are currently living in fear of "Flash Mobs", People walking into stores with Pickax's, & some off Their psych meds! Yeah, I see all of your cameras, but they aren't armed to help anyone who is in a very bad situation. Do everyone a favor, and STOP THE OVERPRICED plain sheet of Paper, and put together SOME SORT OF EMERGENCY SAFETY PLAN FOR EVERYBODY THAT WALKS INTO YOUR BUSINESS. Panic Buttons to start with! Actually, let me rephrase that; STOP DEFUNDING THE HONORABLE MEN & WOMEN of THE LAW ENFORCEMENT COMMUNITY, THAT YOU THINK YOU DON'T NEED! Then Put in a Panic Button! Panic Buttons ARE USELESS, ESPECIALLY IF THERE IS NOBODY FROM LAW ENFORCE COMING DUE TO "Defunding!". Sincerely and Respectfully Submitted, J.M.R. Fairfield, CA P.S. Fast and convenient especially for Amazon Prime returns. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

What can you expect from a UPS store. It was pretty busy when I came in but the workers were doing the best they can to help those in line. They let me just drop of my package so thankfully I got to leave the store. One thing I do hate about coming here is that they give you a hard time about taping up your package before hand. Otherwise, there's nothing to really complain about :) read more

The employee was not trained on international shipping and did not fill out the address correctly or all they way. My package didn't arrive and was considered abandoned. They wanted me to pay for "half" the fees to get it back when in the first call to the owner she stated the employee didn't know what she was doing! Half was going to be more than what I paid to internationally overnight the package. When I ask the owner to produce an invoice showing that was half she yelled and hung up.This means I'm out the brand new jacket in the package ($130) and the shipping fees ($165). When I walked into this location I did not see any employees. I looked around and saw employee Jessica with her bare feet perched up on a table in the back relaxing. She put on her shoes and came to help me. She did not greet me and defiantly had an "I don't want to be here" attitude. I had a very important package that I needed mailed overnight and Jessica simply said we cant do that, with no further explanation. After expressing to her the importance of the package she continued with her attitude and was very unaccommodating. I asked her why my total for one small package was $18.25 and she said I don't know. As a UPS employee I would except her to know the reason my package came out to that much and do everything in her power to be more accommodating. If I wasn't in such a time crunch, I would've walked out and went somewhere else. People's mail are very important to them, as this package was very important to me, and I did not get the sense she cared at all. Go to a different UPS location or choose another form of mailing service all together. read more

Wow completely the most unprofessional and tacky place I've been to. I literally just left and I'm pissed. First the workers on duty didn't even greet me finally I just told them I need to print something. The woman named Renee just told me to put my usb in the machine, and just pointed across the room! That should have been red flag number one!!! So here I am trying to work this machine and I keep looking for help and she continues to stand behind the desk offering no help. Eventually I just say hey I don't know how to work this machine and she says me Either! What in the world are you working here for! The other employee in duty is just watching and texting on her phone!!! Finally my papers print and they are crappy. But I take the loss because I'm so irritated I just want to leave. Well the machine decides it wants to keep printing! It clearly had said one copy when I printed it and even Renee with her no knowledge of her job self saw that! But still They decide to charge me for the extra papers!!! Really?!?! I should have stuck with FedEx what was I thinking! That extra couple of cents didn't break my pockets but it definitely broke me From EVER returning to any ups store. read more

I never had a problem with this UPS store. I always go to this location when I need something done through UPS. The services offered here are pretty standard of any UPS store. They sell packaging boxes, you can ship your stuff, etc. This location also notarizes documents. The service reps are knowledgeable about the process and didn't seem clueless at all. If you need it, it's there. The staff at this location is very nice and friendly. I dropped off packages here many times and haven't had any issues. The location is pretty convenient as it's in the Cordelia Business Center and near other places. I can't find much wrong here. My final thought: Great service + Great location = 5 Stars! read more

I called them for a quote to ship a box. I gave them weight, dimension and asked for $14,500 insurance. They quoted me under $150 to which I replied, "Are you sure? I completed the contract with my buyer to include the $150 insurance, but when I arrived to the UPS store to ship, the price to ship BEFORE insurance was $150. She under quoted me by $250. No apology. The manager didn't care which of her employees might have misquoted me. They don't care at this location and there is no attention to detail or sense of responsibility. THIS STORE DID NOT WANT MY BUSINESS. I came in an hour before closing and the worker said she "did not know how to do that."
