This review is based solely on the notary service of Maritess Marinos. She is amazing and so knowledgeable. She had our best interest at heart and explained everything to my parents and myself. I came to get many papers notarized for international purposes. I didn't know my papers also needed to be apostiled in Sacramento and also saved me from having multiple DPOA forms notarized. If I had gone anywhere else they would not have told me that. I had a total of 9 documents to be notarized and it's definitely time consuming. Since this is a mail service store she beautifully juggled helping us as well as greeting and helping every customer that came in. Many of them regular customers and addressed them by name, others she made sure to acknowledge them and helped them immediately all while helping myself. She's a true professional and I would trust her for all notary needs. She charges $15 per signature to be notarized which is standard everywhere. Thanks so much Maritess!! read more

I've rented a small private mail box at Glen Cove Mail Center for a couple of years now, so I stop in at least once a week to pick up my mail, and all my Amazon boxes that don't fit in it. It's owned and operated by a very kind and honest local family. They greet all of their regular customers on a first named basis, and treat them like extended family. It's common to walk in to find another customer engaged in mutual (personal life) conversation with Tim or his lovely wife. It's the only business I visit that I look forward to seeing the staff. Think of a 2023 version of the show "Cheers", minus the bar, the 1980's, and the annoying laughing track! I can't say enough about what good people they are. In addition to being good people, they also provide excellent customer service with multiple options for any shipping/packaging needs and document processing requests, all at very fair prices. I've come here twice already to pack up and send out a couple of packages. The couple that own the shop is personable, quick, and the prices reliable. Each time, I did not have boxes to ship the items in, Maritess pulled out a box from the back with some bubble wrap, recycling boxes she already had in the back, packed them up and got them labeled and ready to go in minutes. I've gone to other places before (even had to go today because I was shipping out with a prepaid label) and although they provide the same services, they lacked the personal touch. I was in need of immediate help. I couldn't convert a file then my printer ran out if ink!!! I had to print and hard copy within an hour. I called Glencove Mail Boxes, he worked hard to assist me when he didnt receive a file he called me to let me know to resend. I've only had great experiences here at the Glen Cove Mailbox Center :D Normally, I come here when I want to return textbooks that I rented from Amazon. The process is so quick. I swear less then thirty seconds is spent handing over the package! Today was the first time I used their printing services and am impressed! The documents you want to print can be sent via e-mail to gcmc59@yahoo.com (one might want to call the store just to give a heads up to look out for the e-mail) or one can bring in a USB drive with the documents. Either way, make doubly sure that the files are saved as a PDF, otherwise, the printer or computer won't be able to accept (read) and print it. There is a flat fee of $3.00 to use the printing service, which is fair. I printed out ten pieces of paper for 0.25 cents each. The total transaction (tax included) costed $5.74. Not too bad if one really needs to get a printing job done that day. A previous post mentioned how it cost a $1.50 per page to print, so maybe this had to due with the color option? I chose black and white instead of color and only had to pay 0.25 center per page. Maybe something to ask the employee if one is interested in color printing. read more

I had to ship a box with a quick turn around and they were able to do next day cheaper than the other. They were friendly, efficient (which I really like) and no lines! They lost my letter I mailed from there that was going to Australia it was a lady that helped me. she tried to charge me a dollar something first, but I told her a dollar something is wrong going to Australia so she change the price to five dollars and something. I've never seen her in there before and she told me a story about how she sent a letter from there and it showed up in Massachusetts three months later never use that mail store again I'll stick with the post office for now on. Something about this place seemed shady. Upon walking to to deliver my amazon rental, there was only 1 worker and a line out the door. Wasn't sure if this was normal or not, but I decided to wait anyways. The way business was being handled seemed off, the worker there seemed not to know what he was doing seemed to carefree about the work he was doing. When I was being helped I told the one worker my situation, and he did well, no complaints. I needed everything, box, tape ect, it all came to about $2. I handed him my money, and that was the end of it. I found that somewhat odd because is usually get a receipt when I go to other ups stores upon dropping off rentals. The worker there told me that he can not scan my package for a tracking number because the store is no longer ups affiliated. I asked him how I would know that it will be delivered or that ups is responsible for it? He said "you just have to trust it get delivered" and told me not to worry. That is when I started to worry. I asked for a receipt for the things I paid for(shipping box ect.), which he was able to provide. At the end of the day I decided this receipt was as close as any verification that the UPS will/would pick it up. read more
