first time at The Third Place and the food, ambiance, and service exceeded my expectations. went around mid afternoon so there was light chatter/smaller amount of guests where we could talk at a comfortable tone. the servers welcomed us immediately and were attentive in the right ways throughout even asking us how we felt with the first bite and throughout our time. it felt intentional and very personal which helped us feel comfortable for our first time here. food was amazing. well flavored and the chicken was juicy yet light. server gave us a heads up that the chicken is made to order and it was worth the wait! even the lemon garnish that came with water tasted fresh. all of it was so delicious. had a chocolate mousse for dessert and the chocolate was rich layered with their house made whipping cream. chose this restaurant on a whim and it was the best choice because the quality of food is way up there. it is pricey but worth it for an absolutely delicious, well cooked meal! i already told everyone i loved it and that i will come back lol. ordered: airline chicken (served with potato puree and pistachio carrots) and chocolate mousse (pictured) read more

Ambiance is good especially if you're a sports fanatic. Food seems to be a hit or miss situation. Food is pricey service is so so! They have a lot of no nos regarding reservations, orders, seating, plate sharing. Twice I've had a server look at me like I should had read the book prior to asking questions. read more

This place is always a hit! From the solid drinks the bar puts out to the quality food the kitchen prepares you won't be disappointed. I've been here several times and the ambiance is always great. It had a youthful yet family vibe. The decor is unique and upscale. The service has always been a 10/10. Tonight we went and Jake was incredible! The drinks are terrible. They're super strong over poured and all you taste is bitter alcohol and I like my drink to taste like alcohol but not like these bartenders are not impressed with us at all. The food was OK overpriced the brie burgers were pretty good with the toppings were odd. The best thing was the onion tartan appetizer, but it was very small. It would've fed one person as an appetizer. Not a place I would ever go back to. We came here late Dec for a belated Birthday for my son. We had been here in June & I was always bragging & could not wait to come back. Well my son ordered a steak, was not the best cut or quality. As he was eating it he realized that there was a plastic like coating on one side and it was very chewy. Unfortunately, he did not say anything as we were almost done. The cucumbers in the app were kind of soggy and not as good. My bolognaise was very salty & did not taste like the first time we had been. My sons girlfriend said her airline chicken was delicious. The food itself tastes pretty good, the theme and the vibes are cosy. My fiancé got a burger and he thought it was decent, I got the crispy chicken sandwich and thought it was decent as well. I just thought it was kind of mid, I wanna give a higher rating but this was our experience. The service was great though! Came to the third place today for some lunch and ended up not eating cause nothing on the menu really flashed out that I would want to try from that restaurant. I really wanted to try something different that wasn't at Chili's or Applebee's, but the menu didn't seem to eclectic which I was OK with sometimes you just wanna simple burger and fries, but obviously I wasn't in the mood for any of that and as you could see from the menu pictures that I took there wasn't too many options for something that I can get from those two establishments so instead of spending money I just ended up leaving and getting sushi. I was hoping that there menu would be exciting but I guess for Lancaster this is exciting. It was a nice environment, it's a very nice restaurant. The people there are very nice. I have a major food allergy with carrots. I'm a regular here. Food is always great. My issue is with what was said to be the "chefs decision". I let the kitchen know my allergy and the server came back nearly in tears because the chef would not substitute out for another equal vegetable. It's a real allergy and I never have issues at other restaurants with the kitchen being flexible concerning my allergy. I wasn't going to post anything because I really do love the food and my experience there. But, when allergies are concerned that should be paramount concern of a chef in my opinion. I sent a private email hoping something would be done to try acknowledge my experience and concern but heard nothing back. You'd think they opened up three months ago. I always check the bad reviews. One person said there was only one piece of Brie on the Brie burger. There were two thick slices that covered the entire burger. Someone complained there were only six potato wedges with their burger. Mine came with 13. Was getting some Carne Asada from the meat market next-door, and we drove by and saw this restaurant. We took a peek inside and it was surprisingly nice inside. You can't really tell from the exterior. we had the chicken sandwich with side salad and the burger with potatoes this was the best burger I've had in the antelope valley, thick, juicy pink inside and the chicken sandwiches very tender. The flavors were different than I had before, but we liked it. We had the meatball sliders for appetizer. They were very good. If I had to guess I would say everything in this restaurant seems homemade. I forget our servers name, but he was very friendly and checked on us frequently. I also believe the chef has changed the sticky wings; they are overly crisp and lack the flavor they used to have. Back again. The huge winners are: the Mushroom Risotto which is jam packed with robust flavor, and the Shaved Brussel Sprout salad (extra champagne vinaigrette). We also decided to try the seasonal flatbread appetizer and really enjoyed it with extra Swiss cheese added, really tasty. I had my usual burger and it was good as always. Mr. Picky ordered the Mushroom Risotto. We got sone meal closure with the fabulous cheesecake and banana bread (latter is good if you prefer a less sweet dessert). Both very enjoyable! Love the mostarda! And our waitress was great. Mr. Picky just said, "We can come back again soon, right?" To which I replied with a string affirmative. Wonderful food and wonderful service. Jake took such great care of my 77 year old father and me as out of town visitors. He was so kind and insisted on giving us a ride back to our hotel, as we'd walked to Third Place in the dark and he wanted us to get back safely.
