The trout was good, but I'd probably skip it next time. For dessert, we had the CHOCOLATE CANNAGE. If you're not a fan of cherries, don't worry--the cherry flavor isn't very strong. The restaurant decor was ok, but upholstery on the seating seemed off and not very Dioresque by design. Service by the staff was good, not great; not as seamless as I expected. Chips And Guacamole 8.68/10- got this for taco tuesday too & the chips were so good & so addicting. The guac has truffle in it which made it so decadent, & they don't skimp on the portion either. It paired perfectly w/ the shrimp tacos, & they keep the chips coming too. The chips were perfectly crisp, almost similar to wonton chips, & such a good match w/ the guac I love Beverly Bar. I actually thought it was part of Hillstone group (one of my favorite restaurant groups, if not my favorite) by how good the quality is, but I was surprised to find out it's not, it's actually independently owned! This place is always busy for good reason, but I'd def suggest making a reservation before you go. And, Miami. And even at the marinas in San Diego, San Francisco, and Sausalito. You immediately feel the calm and these days, especially in the city, we can use a good deal of decompressing. It was almost an audible "aaaahhhhh" that my brain whispered when we sat down at our roomy booth. We were there for brunch and the menu was wonderful for me, a lifelong vegetarian. There were multiple items I wanted to try but I usually stick to an appetizer, main, dessert, and beverage. I am not a big eater at one sitting. Between us, everything we ordered was superb. The descriptions were pretty familiar, but the tastes were elevated. And the presentations were unique too -- see my photos. Michael, our server, was efficient but warm and friendly too. That makes such a difference. From beginning to end he took care of us, checking occasionally to get our enthusiastic thumbs-up, and then bringing us sturdy containers and a roomy thick shopping bag to take home the leftovers. We stuffed ourselves but still took home half of the generous portions we were given. The tab was beyond reasonable too, especially for Beverly Hills!
