Spicy Tuna On Crispy Rice 12/10- this is quite literally the best spicy tuna on crispy rice I've ever had. The crispy rice temperature was perfect, warm all the way through w/ the perfect crisp to it. Honestly the consistency reminded me of a hash brown if that makes sense, which is INSANE, like so good. It's also made w/ truffled avocado which took it to another level. The spicy tuna portion was huge too & it was so fresh & delicious, & the jalapeño slice gave it the perfect kick. Normally I find crispy rice overpowers the spicy tuna but this was such a perfect balance. Shrimp Tacos 9.18/10- these were honestly so good, such a great mix of flavors in every bite. What surprised me most was the corn tortillas, they weren't dry at all which almost never happens w/ corn tortillas. The tacos themselves were huge & so were the shrimp, loved that they used tiger shrimp instead of the small ones. The slaw gave it a nice crunch on top, & there was actually a kick of spice to these that caught me off guard in the best way. Chips And Guacamole 8.68/10- got this for taco tuesday too & the chips were so good & so addicting. The guac has truffle in it which made it so decadent, & they don't skimp on the portion either. It paired perfectly w/ the shrimp tacos, & they keep the chips coming too. The chips were perfectly crisp, almost similar to wonton chips, & such a good match w/ the guac I love Beverly Bar. I actually thought it was part of Hillstone group (one of my favorite restaurant groups, if not my favorite) by how good the quality is, but I was surprised to find out it's not, it's actually independently owned! This place is always busy for good reason, but I'd def suggest making a reservation before you go. You're also very likely to run into people you know here, yet the ambiance is so perfect that it still feels intimate. Such a great dinela experience! I have never been here before but glad to have discovered them. For just $35 you got so much food! To start I for the ahi tuna crispy rice, fried chicken sandwich, and dessert. As an extra cost for a lovely glass of white wine. Everything was delicious. I was able to bring half my fried chicken sandwich home with fries cause I was so room (and needed to leave room for dessert). Parking easily with 2 hour free lots or try and find a meter if you can! Beverly Bar is such a cute and Cozy spot near all of the fanciest shops in Beverly Hills. Arrived at around 5:15pm and plopped down right at the bar. As a girl riding solo 90% of the times, sitting at a bar top is my absolutely favorite place at any restaurant. For food, I'm a sucker for some raw tuna on a wonton chip, so I had to get the Tuna tartare. Super good and tasty. The presentation was super appealing too! I also got the Spicy Vodka Rig. I loved this! Giant rigatoni in an actual spicy rigatoni sauce. Normally, I find that its not spicy enough, but this was perfect. A little kick in my pasta always makes me a happy camper. One thing I was surprised about was the amount of take out orders this place received. We decided to come here since their DineLA menu look enticing. Well, the food didn't disppoint. Appetizers: spicy tuna over crispy rice, hummus and shishito peppers. We enjoyed them all! We had the smash burger, margherita pizza and chef's strawberry salad for our main entrees. The salad as expected, was very refreshing and the smash burgers was juicy and flavorful. I just wish I ate the margherita pizza first before devouring the burger because it overpowered the subtle taste of the pizza . It was stil delicious though. The cookie butter cheesecake was not the not overly sweet so one could enjoy the Biscoff cookie butter. The berry sundae takes the trophy (perhaps because I'm biased - strawberry is my favorite). The reason why I only have 4 stars is because I was very surprised when the servers did not mention about their ongoing DineLA participation. We were observing the other customers and we overheard all of them asking for the DineLA menu (we did ask about it too). If it weren't for this, we would have never tried the restaurant but since we enjoyed the food, we will definitely go back. My thoughts on this is, why even participate if the servers don't promote it. My friend and I had a reservation at 7 pm and the restaurant was empty but they still made us wait even though we arrived on time. They weren't attentive when it came to service. The glass cups they have for water are small, so we constantly kept asking for water. Our server passed by us several times and saw the glass cup was empty but did not bother filling it back up. My friend got the crispy rice tuna, smash burger, cheesecake and I got the avocado hummus, chicken sandwich, and some berry dessert. The avocado was deliciously creamy and the pita bread it came with was a perfect match. The chicken sandwich was very bland, the breaded coating had no seasoning and it was dry. The dessert was not something I was used to as it had a balsamic glaze present in every bite. The burger my friend ordered was juicy and flavorful. It's conveniently located next to a parking structure where the first hour is free and is $1 every 30 minutes for the next hour after. They have happy hour daily from 2pm-6pm which includes discounted classic cocktails, $9 wines, and a variety of snacks. My first drink was the espresso martini ($20). It was different from a typical one because it used tequila but was still good. I was a little indifferent on the bits of ground coffee on top which made it a little unpleasant to drink. My second drink was the fuzzy slipper ($19) and my thought upon first sip was this "tasted like fall" because of the fall spice syrup and had big cinnamon flavors. I also tried the shameless flirt ($18) which was a typical spicy tequila cocktail. For food we ordered the beverly fries ($10). We thought they could've been saltier and although it came with truffle and parmesan, they were only on top so after the top layer it was pretty much like normal fries. The drinks and the quality of the bartending were just okay. The daily happy hour is nice but the prices wouldn't necessarily make me happy.
