I was nearby before an event and wanted a place where I could exhale, have a hearty dinner and maybe a drink. Mission accomplished on the rooftop overlooking Beverly Hills and beyond. Opening seating with tables or sit at the bar. The one draft beer is Peroni, which suits me fine. (Sure, bottles are fine sometimes, but not this night) The menu is inviting and as I was pretty hungry, I wanted something more than chips or a veggie platter. I was guided to the 'B.l.a.t' (Sixty sauce. hobbs bacon or roasted turkey, avocado. butter lettuce. heirloom tomato. All served with choice of french fries or salad.) I asked the server if the turkey was made in-house or from a deli, and he assured me it was made in-house. Though I was fond of it and it did hit the spot, there is no way that the perfectly layered and thinly sliced turkey was from something other than a high quality deli. The fries were thin and crisp and basically high-end McDonald's fries. No complaints. I love this place. It's a little confusing on how to get to the rooftop, but just ask the staff at the desk. Beautiful views, it feels like an intimate setting but also somehow you could have a big group. Pretty cool the way they set it up to do that. It was a nice an intimate setting as you walk in, the vibes are immediately there. The decor was also so cute and definitely perfect for your Instagram posts! Our host was so nice and helpful with choosing drinks. I have always been a tequila gal but decided to try their blueberry gin cocktail,one word, WOW! WOW! I was at the rooftop bar midweek with a date and we ordered 4 drinks only for 2 people. The drinks were simple dreinks, nothing special and we were not told there would be an automatic 20%+ gratuity on the drinks. I don't mind tipping but the service was terrible and this is now illegal in Cali. I also understand this for large parties but 2 people not eating and only having wine. WOW! That is unacceptable for a $100 drink bill. We were the only ones on the rooftop and we had to keep going to the bar to order. The waiter would not even check in and take our orders where we were sittting. It is illegal to force a tip like this and when signing, they must tell you the tip is added. Of course they did not and I added a tip on top. I later asked for the auto gratuity to be remove and they refused. All this if unbelievable to me. Will never visit here again. There are many more rooftops with excellent service only a few blocks away. I contacted management twice afterwards online and they have still not responded after 2 weeks. This bar has an amazing atmosphere and a lot of potential. I used to come here and the service was nothing like what it is today. Chris and Gina really went ABOVE and beyond to make sure our groups and all the groups around us were comfortable and never missing anything we needed. They took the time to perfect our drinks and meet our needs. Our group is admittedly high maintenance and picky and they had the best demeanor and never made us feel out of place. Our group plans to make this bar our new regular spot for the summer. Stumbled across this rooftop bar by Rodeo Drive! Love how reservations were not needed and there was no wait. It's located at 60 Beverly Hills Hotel. There are street parking close by. We came on Sunday night and it was not crowded. It's a small but super cute rooftop bar! You get the full view of LA and it's a nice for sunset. One of my new favorite lowkey lounge spots in Beverly Hills! I had made reservations here on a Saturday for 2 people originally at 930pm. Some friends ended up tagging along and Above SIXTY was more than helpful and was able to accommodate the last minute additions. This hotel is kind of hard to find and if you're not actively looking for it you'll drive right past by it and not even know it was there. Parking is valet only and is located on the street level. Not sure if it was just not a busy night or if its really that low key but they were able to add 4 more people to my original 2 people reservation. First you have to check in at the front desk and they will get the elevator for you to send you up to the rooftop where this bar is located. The lighting is a bit dark but it gives a nice atmosphere and its all open air since it is the rooftop. It being an open air bar, make sure to bring a jacket if its a chilly night or if you get cold easily! Drinks are standard price for a bar. You can either get their cocktails or wine or you can get bottles of alcohol and have chaser to make your own cocktails. My friends and I opted for the bottle of gray goose which I believe was $175. it came with a bucket full of ice, 3 juices to mix your alcohol in, cups, and of course your bottle. The juices were free refills and they do require you to purchase one food item. We selected the chips and guac and it was good, nothing amazing, just standard chips and guac. The view and the atmosphere is what made this the best. The whole bar and even the bathrooms were very clean and well kept and there was no loud music blasting or lots of people talking so we were able to hear each other and didn't have to shout in order of us to hear one another. Overall this place is very chill and relaxing for your group or even better for a nice romantic date with a rooftop view. Definitely worth the price and would definitely come back again! read more

We were very pleased with the setting and calming vibes of the poolside seating! The rooftop provides a complete view of LA! I brought a friend who was visiting from out of town on a Thursday afternoon, so it was rather quiet and peaceful, but the downside was that there was no wait service poolside/rooftop, so we had to go to the level below the rooftop to order and bring our drinks (there were a couple dishes that a waitress brought out to us, but the bottles and glasses we had to fetch on our own). Everything was quite expensive, as expected (avocado toast at around $16 and a bottle of sparkling rose at $44), but the way I rationalize that is that I pay the premium for the view and the pool. If you're coming just for the day/afternoon, suggest bringing a suit. We didn't bring ours, but totally regretted it. It was a surprisingly hot day and the pool felt warm. What I like about this place is that they have a cocktail pitchers! Do they not want people's money?? If they are up there buying drinks, why do you confront them and tell them they have to leave? Pretty tacky. Additionally, it gets SO crowded on the weekend it's just not even worth going. There will be nowhere to sit, and they'll tell you it's $100 minimum just to be there (lol). They also allow smoking up there, and on the weekends it stinks. Take that, fresh air! If you've got $350 to drop, you can rent out a cabana, but i've seen all cabanas booked at the same time and it was like a noise competition, each with their own bluetooth speaker trying to outdo the people next to them. Nice little boutique hotel to go for drinks on their rooftop. The hotel is on the corner of Crescent Drive and Wilshire. It does have a nice view of the city and the moon. The bar is in the middle and it is surrounded by booths. Nice place for a date. There are big tables toward the back which would be good for groups. The night I went, the ambiance was 20's maybe early 30's. Very young. It could be because there was an event going on so I'm not sure if that's the normal clientele or not. Going up the elevator to the rooftop where the bar is, a young man was telling his date how this is one of the best kept, underground secrets in LA. Not sure if that was just to impress his date or not, but it did make me excited to go here. Music was a little loud but not overly so. I could hear okay but when the music stopped I could hear so much better! Try not to sit close to the speakers and you'll be fine. Valet is $10 before tip (one less drink for you!). If you live close, want to save money, and drink whatever you want, Uber would be the way to go. Not sure if there is street parking so you kind of have to go to the Valet. and you go through the Valet to the elevators and up to "R" for rooftop to get to the bar. I've only come here for the pool parties. I haven't stayed at the hotel. It's your typical LA-scene pool party with expensive drinks. Margaritas were $17. Ouch. The views were pretty nice. I came here for their 4th of July party. It's a rooftop pool/bar so you could see all of LA. It was awesome seeing all the fireworks go off throughout the city. read more
