The presentation alone was impressive when it came to the table, but more importantly, it was cooked beautifully juicy, tender, perfectly charred on the outside, and packed with flavor. Definitely made for sharing. We paired it with the street corn, which was loaded with seasoning, cheese, and just the right amount of spice. It was the perfect side to balance out such a rich steak. The Hideaway also nails the atmosphere. It's intimate, stylish, a little sexy, and feels tucked away from everything even though you're right in Beverly Hills. The whole place makes dinner feel like an experience. Great steak, great sides, beautiful setting, and a really fun night out. Definitely 5 stars for me.

When I approached the restaurant's hostess stand there was nobody there so I just waited patiently for a few moments for someone to come. A young lady entered behind me and walked past the hostess stand carrying a cake and I assumed that she was maybe already inside. But no, she walked past me and grabbed the hostess's attention as she was heading back to the hostess stand. The hostess did help her out even though she came in after me.. And I was still at the hostess stand waiting. It did kind of leave a little bit of a mark in my mind but it didn't ruin the night for me. All of the staff was very helpful and friendly. My food was good for the most part but what we ordered was not worth what I spent. I ordered the Tablita. The meat was seasoned perfectly and delicious. I also prefer a medium well steak. Several pieces of my steak were charred to the point of bitterness around the edges. My biggest issue with the Tablita is the sides are not enough to share. There was about a cup of rice and one cup of beans to split between two people. All of the sides and condiments were basically enough for one person. The grilled onions, the guacamole, the Pico and pickled onions were a great compliment to the meal, but I still don't believe the $145 price tag was worth it. I understand that this is a Mexican style steakhouse, but even at steakhouses shareable meals include shareable sides. We ordered an extra side of the Esquites and honestly, it reminded me more of corn with taco seasoning than actual street corn. Unfortunately, we didn't eat most of the corn. Also, it was my mom's birthday. I put that it was her birthday on the reservation and that was not acknowledged by anyone.. That was a little bit disappointing. Most steakhouses do some sort of a birthday acknowledgment. I can't say that the experience was completely ruined. My mom still enjoyed herself. And it was an opportunity for us to try something new. I would come back again and maybe try happy hour or tacos at the bar. But I 100% certain will never order those same items again. Bonus points for having very delicious chips and salsa and purse hooks at every table at least on the patio.

Next time I know to make a request :) Our waiter was great and attentive. As a non drinker this expresso martini (mocktail) caught my eye. My waiter suggested some don't like it because of the ginger but we can try it and if I don't like it I can order something else. Since I was curious about it I did order but she was right lol The food was good, I had a smoked bagel. I feel like I'm somewhat particular about a smoked bagel because I don't like to taste the salmon too much and this was a bit overpowering for me. I wasn't a fan of the thick slices. But just me :) Loved this place!!!! Highly recommend! Great for groups, dates, family, kids, all are welcome

This was a fantastic cocktail! This hit every mark I wanted in an Old Fashioned. Mezcal, Tequila, Bourbon, there is no better drink, in my opinion.
