I have been here a few times and always leave happy. The bartender, Alex, is amazing! Super helpful and patient. I got the chimichurri chicken and the lilkoi lemonade to drink - as well as an espresso martini. YALLLLLL the espresso martini is AMAZING. one of the best I've had. The chicken was also amazing - wiped my plate clean hahaha. Also got the cookie skillet - it was also super amazing! The space is super nice and clean, everyone is super friendly. Will def be back!! Parking - there is meter street parking.

This dimly lit gem offers the perfect ambiance for a relaxed evening. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, with a touch of sophistication. What truly sets this place apart is its incredible selection of drinks. Their menu features an impressive array of craft cocktails, local brews, and fine wines, catering to every taste. The bartenders are skilled and happy to customize a drink if you're looking for something unique. The seasonal food menu was another highlight. Each dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. It's clear they put a lot of care into sourcing quality ingredients and crafting a menu that complements the drink offerings. Street parking can be challenging, use the Beverly Connection parking lot across the street for a fee.

Stopped by here the other night after dinner. Had never been so we popped in to check it out. Nice bar/lounge, plenty of seating and the drinks were flavorful. Staff was nice and courteous as well, plus there were games on the TV to watch while talking with people around.

My fiancé went to the phoenix last night with her friend. They both got a bill under $20 and later on checking their bank statements the next day they see they BOTH got charged $50.00. They both did not tip that much to make the charge that high. This is also not the first time that something like this has happened. We called trying to resolve the issue and there is no manager on duty and the employee also said the manager isn't answering their calls or texts. If you go to this establishment make sure to take a picture of your receipt after you write your tip and total amount due to them over charging you.

Stopped in before our reservation at Manpuku. We always pass this place and our first time here we were greeted by a really sweet bartender. We ordered two margaritas. The ambience is friendly. Seems like a place where people network. Would definitely come back and I think it's a good bar to check out.

I was bar hopping and this spot popped up. A solid bar and in the future I'd like to try their restaurant. I had a few drinks at the bar and the bartender was real cool and the atmosphere was very relaxed with a toned down music selection. I'd definitely come back here again in the future.

Comfortable, darkly lit, and slightly trendy bar that serves great craft cocktails. My favorites are the Hot Girl Autumn and the Fancy G & T. The Hot Girl Autumn is a great winter drink make with tequila, guava, lemon and a bit of cinnamon. It reminds me of the holidays. I asked for less guava as I don't like sweet drinks and it was just right. There's a tv playing sports behind the bar, and a really nice outdoor area in the back with a large screen tv. I haven't tried the food so this review is for cocktails only.

First time trying The Phoenix and it's definitely a nice hand out spot. It seems to be pretty hidden as you would not expect a bar to be hidden across from the 3rd Street Ross and TJ Maxx. Once you walk in it's pretty dim, head towards the back and it's a neat little outdoor spot with tables and chairs. Almost like a beer garden vibe. There's a variety of food you can order and really great drinks. They door beer, wine and cocktails here. Outside when crowded, it can get pretty noisy to talk over one another at times, but still a nice place to hang and unwind. Had the chance to try Harambe's Revenge. Rum is one of my favorite liquors because it's used to creative various sweet and fruity drinks. The presentation was like a showstopper! Topped with a leaf and infused with pineapple and a hint of lime. Drinks are strong, so no skimping here! Amazing bartenders here that really know how to make great cocktails. Food here pairs very well with the drinks and a fun place to chill and catch up.

There's a lot of places in LA to check out. Similar vibes and music. Service was terrible, unless your a girl. I let my girl sit while I grab drinks. I waited for 20 mins and still never got service. So I asked my girl to come to the bar to get it instead and bam 3 mins later she got some service. If you're a dude and want to come to this bar bring your hot girl friend b/c you'll wait all day. Prices on drinks are expensive as well. Nothing special about this place. Rate: 1/5 I wouldn't come back.

    Is it dog friendly?

I don't think so. They do have a small indoor/ourdoor patio so it's worth the ask and the people are friendly but because they serve food and have a pool table, dart boards...I would lean towards a no.

Do you need reservations? And how to make reservations if they don't take them over the phone or online? I would like to celebrate a small birthday but would hate to drive there and can't get in. Please help

The bartender was loud and rambunctious, keeping his regulars amused. Megan greeted us at the door and let us pick our own table, then became our server. She was very friendly and took generally good care of us, though she did occasionally go MIA for a few minutes while caught up in conversations with regulars -- but in a casual place like this, no biggie. My wife ordered the Belmont Burger, which came with bacon, Gruyere cheese, onion marmalade and pickles (+ arugula and mayo that my wife deleted). The prime patty was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and had a clean, fresh taste, though it could have used a dash more seasoning. The toppings were all first rate, and the onion marmalade had a nice sweetness to it. Fresh cut fries were crispy and tasty, but also could have used more salt. For my part, I was in the mood for wings, extra crispy -- and that's exactly how they came. I liked that they were served dry, and that I could dip into the sauce on the side, a practice that keeps the wings as crispy as possible for as long as possible. I should also mention that the portion was very generous: 7 wings of good size for $15, which felt right. Rather than traditional Buffalo, I chose Spicy K-Chile Sauce and I enjoyed its nice balance between sweet & spice. But again, given that the wings were served dry, they would have benefited from getting a hit of salt right out of the fryer. All in all, a well-made, very tasty, straightforward meal in a fun environment. Had it been Friday or Saturday I would have enjoyed hanging at the bar and tossing back a few, but with a busy Monday morning on the horizon I decided to head home and make plans for next time.

Then, when I went to close my tab for my one drink (since I'd had such a bad experience), the bartender charged me for a drink I didn't even order! I asked if they could do a house/well marg and he just walked away without answering me. He ended up charging me for specialty cocktail at $17.50 for a tiny, not well-made margarita. I came across an article of St. Patrick Day activities in LA. One of them explained that this joint was offering a traditional Irish breakfast from 6:00 a.m. to 10: a.m. I decided that this was the green light I needed to embrace the whimsy/whiskey of the Irish Holiday. I got up early and went from the South Bay, to this place which is located near the Peterson car museum and the Museum about the Academy and its movies. I had to endured heavy traffic, just to get to the location. And, when I got there, I was hit with a harsh reality--- there was no parking to be found, and the parking lot was closed off. It was now time for me to engage in a frustrating LA tradition- the search for a spot for my car to sit, while I went inside a place on a popular moment. I went up and down streets. I was discouraged by signs that basically said, even though this street has open spots you still need a special visitor pass or need to live in one of these houses to park. If you do not, these luxury spot are for another. And since it was early morning on a weekday, the rush hour effect was inflating my frustration while diminishing my resolve to go. I wanted to leave, I did, but, I could not, because I was determined to experience an Irish breakfast despite not being in the emerald isle because what else was I going to do just have Dunkin' again? I turned another street, and then I saw my gift for the lucky, a parking spot that I could ease into. I walked two blocks but decided that the steps were needed to enhance my appetite. As I got near, I understood that this was a spectacle to document, and not just by me, news vans were already there setting up to show the world what being in this place on St. Patricks day meant---- living the holiday to the blimey max! I stepped in and Marley asked if I had a reservation. My heart sank, I had not thought of this. I just saw a mention of the place, and decided to go, no planning, just decision. She found a place for me, quite easily. The interior of their dining room made me feel like I was in the Island of Berk, eating in a cottage right for Vikings. I even thought that if I was fighting a dragon, I would somehow cut one of their hanging old-timey chandeliers, at the exact right time, so it falls atop its head. I am not sure if Vikings are Irish, but on this day imagination got all type of green flags. The place had two options for breakfast--- I chose the Corned Beef hash, and it was a treat for the green eyed masses. I especially liked the smashed potatoes. One of my neigbhors gave me her recipe, and she explained that one bakes the potatoes a bit, then takes like a cookie tray, and smashes the potatoes, so the potatoes are twiced bake, once when they are whole and next when they are broken. At least, that is what I understood. The cubed corned beef, the green color provided by the brussels, and the potatoes so crisp and warm, were a celebration of Ireland in my mouth, and the celebration was marked by jigs on point. But the food, and the environment were backdrop to the Irish energy around. I may be naive, but I was surprised at how many people were already in the bar drinking and in festive costume. I clipped a few of the people who garbed themselves in green and in Irish spirit. My favorite one was the guy who wore a leprechaun hat and died his hair red. He had become an O'rooke for the day, and the festivities he adorned himself with were a reminder that any holiday can be more than splendid if one decides to choose express joy with timidity abandon. A woman had a Dr. Seuss hat but in green and white with many buttons. This was not her first Shamrock induced rodeo, she had collected buttons that confirm her attendance in this yearly event, which is kind of cool because she lives for different days, not just the weekend. I also drank a green beer, or more accurately took a few sips. When in Ireland to like the Leprechauns do. One of my neighbors told his dining companion, it is a marathon not a sprint. Apparently, some people were really there to drink from the morning to evening. So if that is your thing to do this and be great in green. I looked up how the Irish say cheers and they say Sláinte. I asked my neighbors to raise their glass and Sláinte with me. They did, and we did it with gusto! That memory is one that I will carry with me for years. So I lived a breakfast in this place and truly it was something that I experience and I will remember. This place does St. Patrick's day right and I felt lucky to be there.
