A charming hotel restaurant serving classic Italian food. The decor and atmosphere here is inviting and done nicely. I liked how straightforward the food was and kept classic. The service was friendly, attentive and changed our plates out from the appetizers to the entrees. I really enjoyed the Lasagna Classico especially for being hearty without that greasy feel. The Eggplant Parmigiana was also done with a more rustic take that was enjoyable as well.

Have you ever eaten food so good that you forgot to take pictures? Café Amici delivers food to the table that is so fantastic that you take a bite with gratitude and simply savor. This special locale is nestled in the side of a hotel and is not to be missed. It is only very edge of Beverly Hills, but does not feel like it. This is a perfect spot to start the evening before heading into WeHo. I recommend the cacio e Pepe the mushroom risotto and definitely the chicken piccata. For dessert you cannot have a better cheesecake and the one they make here.

This place has changed and the new people are absolutely anything but good. The food is not worth it anymore especially with the new leadership. It's a shame that the place got taken over but don't be fooled by nostalgia as the new manager and all that are as rude as rude can be. No more Amici no friend of Roma Caffe

I can't believe this little gem has been here for so many years and I have never been. Such a quaint place with great outdoor seating. They have valet parking which is way more reasonable than most at $10. They have gluten-free options. The pizza gluten-free was great. The pasta gluten free was not so great. Probably not where I would get a steak again as some of our party got very average steaks. But the calamari was excellent salmon, excellent lamb chops...definitely worth a visit. I'll be back soon for the delicious drinks. Staff is lovely too!!

My group had a nice time here. We were going to see a band at the Troubadour, and this was the perfect walking distance away. Do yourself a favor, valet, parking in this area can be a total pain. I thought the food was decent/good. This is a hidden restaurant in Beverly Hills, but really in the Weho nightlife district. You have to cross Doheny, and it's on the first floor of the Beverly Terrace hotel. It's a small/charming restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The outdoor front patio area is cute, but my group sat in the outside atrium area contained in the middle. My group shared bites, and everything was very good. I don't have any specific food call outs, they delivered on all fronts. I did really like my Risotto Funghi. It's a nice little establishment that isn't overcrowded. The server was nice and attentive. Did I mention that they do make a great dirty martin with blue cheese olives. #SOLD.

The ambience in the courtyard was probably my favorite part. It was quiet with good music and a good sound level. The staff was probably my next favorite part, very kind, funny and polite. I will be back when my dad is in town. Otherwise, I like the carciofi salad most. I think the truffle pizza and the truffle gnocchi were decent, but not outstanding and not worth the price tag. There's no red sauce on the pizza FYI. The tap water I think is unfiltered so I would recommend the bottles water. The chocolate cake with vanilla gelato was also decent but not amazing. The strawberries really made it great.

Such a cute place for a date night or lunch spot. I've been here twice and I love how clean and wholesome their food is. The quality is worth the price and portions are very generous. I recommend the chicken parm and Cacio e Pep pasta with their house bread. 10/10 will be coming back. Service was also good despite it being Valentine's Day.

A Tale of Two Italian Nights: Oste is Pure Magic. MASA of Echo Park fell short…read more After a disappointing service experience at MASA of Echo Park the night before, Oste in WeHo completely blew my daughter and I away. We went in blind to meet a big, chaotic crew--7 humans (including a 3-year-old, 7-year-old, 14-year-old, and a 30-something couple) plus two dogs (one large, one small). By the end of the night, OSTE solidified itself as my favorite Italian restaurant in LA. Every single dish and drink was tasty. We started with loads of warm bread with EVOO, the Burrata Pappa al Pomodoro, and tender meatballs topped with stracciatella. For mains, we shared two stellar pinsas (Anchovy and Margherita), rich Risotto ai Funghi, the seafood squid ink pasta (Frutti di Mare), and classic red-sauce pasta for the kiddos. The drinks were just as hit-heavy: the 30-something couple enjoyed a chilled Lambrusco, the dad of the two younger girls went with an Aperol Spritz, the two youngest girls loved their lemonades, and my daughter and I had some exceptionally tasty mocktails. I cannot say enough about the staff and management of OSTE--they earned every single star. When my daughter and I arrived first, we couldn't find the reservation (it was under a friend's last name, not a first name), so the host kindly put us on the waitlist. Our friends' "10 minutes away" stretched into a half-hour, so we explored some nearby vintage shops. When we checked back in (about 15 minutes after getting on the list), the manager/owner said they could seat my daughter and I inside early so we could relax, sip our mocktails, and munch on bread while we waited for our friends. Then came the curve ball: our friend arrived with a large Labradoodle. Their other small dog was on its way with the rest of the crew. Throwing a two-dog curveball at a busy restaurant could ruin a host's night, but the team didn't blink. They were incredibly gracious, quickly pivoting to set up a table for our whole group (including the dogs) on the patio. Throughout the meal, the servers were genuinely warm, fast, and attentive without ever being pushy. An casual yet upscale vibe with indoor-outdoor seating and a lively, welcoming energy. Between the stained glass windows and carefully selected colorful tiles, you feel instantly transported out of LA. It's vibrant, charming, and effortlessly cool. Parking was a breeze, too--we easily scored free side street parking half a block away on a Sunday around 6:00 PM (though they also have valet and street meter parking). Amazing food, fantastic hospitality, and the best vibes. OSTE rocks! We will definitely be back and back and back and back ... again.

There are other locations but this I think was the first one and since it was the one I frequented it's the one I will miss. I have so many fond memories of this restaurant. I came here as a little girl with my family because it was casual enough for a well mannered child but fancy enough to please the adults. One time I decided to get into shape. Every time someone asked me out for lunch or dinner I said I wanted to go to Il Fornaio. I would order a bowl of the vegetable soup or vegetarian soup of the day and the Regina Salad. The salad did wild arugula, couscous, avocado, red onions, capers, raisins, and lemon oil dressing. It was a fabulous and filling meal that also kept me skinny. I could honestly eat it every day and never get bored. During Covid I came here and we ate outside on the sidewalk. We enjoyed watching the pedestrian scene and "staying safe" while being able to eat out again. I really missed going out and I felt comfortable here which was important during Covid time. Every Halloween Il Fornaio would have 1/2 price pizza. My family made a tradition to order it. I LOVED this tradition and I'm going to miss it this Halloween. Their pizza was delicious. One time I came here with a boyfriend because they had a cooking class in the back. They had a huge entertainment room in the back of the restaurant. I wish I had a chance to have a special event here to rent it out. We had so much fun as we watched the chef talk about how to prepare each dish and what was even better is that we got to taste it in the end. We ate seabass with golden raisins, baked pasta with eggplant, and a cannoli for dessert. They even had a party souvenir which was an Il Fornaio plate to hang on the wall. Last time I came here was on the Fourth of July last year. It was also dine-la and they had the best deal of any of the dine-la restaurants. Not all the dine-la deals are good but this one truly was one of the best in terms of value for money. It was a three course meal with the most delicious fish entree. Who doesn't love a good deal? We had a fabulous time! Lastly, in recent years they added a happy hour menu to the restaurant and it was fabulous. I did another review on that so I'll keep it short here but the food and drinks were just wonderful. I will miss the friendly waiters who have been there forever. They don't make them like that anymore. Arrivederci to a true "classic"!

I originally made a reservation for indoor seating, but since it was such a beautiful day, we decided to sit outside by the pool. It ended up being the perfect choice. There atmosphere was relaxing, the noise level made conversation easy, and the view was beautiful. For food, we ordered the Pappardelle al Ragù, which was delicious. The pasta itself was perfectly cooked with great flavor. I wouldn't have minded a little more protein, but it was still a really enjoyable dish. We also had the Little Gem Caesar with chicken, a classic done exceptionally well. The standout, however, was the Diavola pizza. The combination of spicy soppressata with the honey drizzle was absolutely top tier, and the soft, airy crust brought everything together perfectly. It was easily my favorite dish of the meal. To drink, we had a couple of non alcoholic Cosmojitos, which were refreshing, flavorful, and a great complement to the meal. We closed out the evening with the homemade carrot cake, and wow it was the cake of my dreams. Perfectly moist, incredibly flavorful, and just the right level of sweetness without being overpowering. It was the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. Overall, this was an outstanding dining experience with exceptional service, delicious food, and a beautiful ambiance. They actually made a mistake with one of our dishes, but even that became part of a great experience. They immediately acknowledged it and offered to make it right. We ended up loving what accidentally arrived and happily kept it. Mistakes happen; how a restaurant handles them says far more about the quality of its hospitality. We were celebrating two birthdays, and somehow the entire staff seemed clued in. From our first greeting through dessert, there was a warmth to the service that made the night feel genuinely special. We even ended up chatting with our server about other favorite restaurants in the area and bonded over our mutual recommendations. Our only problem with Mother Wolf: everything on the menu sounds incredible, so apparently we have to come back multiple times. Tragic. One word of caution unrelated to the restaurant itself: I'd skip the valet. Our keys were left inside our running car for about 15 min while the attendant had his back turned across the street, which made us pretty uncomfortable. There's a lot about a block away where you can park yourself for roughly the same price. Otherwise, absolutely loved our evening here. Incredible food, exceptional hospitality, and a meal you keep talking about afterward. Can't wait to come back--and hit the speakeasy next time!
