Fab times with my friends! We always meet up here, because it's the local spot to be, and it's super close to work, and my friend's homes. I stopped by last night to watch the end of the Rams/Seahawks game. Our bartender, Jonesy always go above and beyond! He's cute and always has a smile! Cary, Rupert, Mari, and Juan have been coming here when it used to be Red Rocks, so they know almost everyone who walks through the doors of Tortugo. I ordered chicken wings, and it was very good, not too spicy. I had The Beach Rosé wine, it's made from Whispering Angel. The company, wine, food, people, and Jonesy were all a pleasure to be around. Minimal cigar options very noisy. Great to find a place on Sunset for cigars but the selections are poor and they charge a whopping $21 cutting fee for outside cigars. I found a place 6 miles away that was more what I was looking for. It seems you can order food from upstairs which is nice. The ambiance just wasn't for me. read more

Didn't know this place existed. So glad I stopped in. As I made my way downstairs, I walk in to a full bar and a small cigar humidor in the center of the room. A small collection of good premium stogies but pricey by current market rates. The bartenders were awesome serving up excellent cocktails. Also food is available such as sandwiches, burgers and appetizers. I sat at a cozy table, with a comfy chair, enjoyed my cigar, in a relaxing amber hue atmosphere. Great place for me time. read more

They desperately need better bar staff. It's such an awesome place to relax and smoke a cigar, but it would be nice to be able to enjoy a drink. I wind up just ordering bourbon neat cause the bartenders can't make drinks. I've spent a ton here and just can't bring myself to come back after the last consecutive experiences. read more

Awesome place for a drink and cigar. Love that they allow you to bring your own sticks or purchase from their well kept humidor. All round great experience however their whiskey sour was a disappointment. Beyond that, service as A plus and the ambience was awesome. Absolutely love this place! I've been here numerous times. Such a cool vibe and always a nice crowd and pretty good service. Not a huge cigar selection for it to be a Cigar lounge but the have many hookah options and you can bring your own cigars. They also have some pretty good food which is a huge plus! Staff is great and friendly, lots of seating, full food menu from State Social from upstairs and decent liquor/beer selection. Best place in HOLLYWOOD for cigar smokers hands down, HARD FACT! Love this place. They got a small selection of cigars but all solid choices, full bar, food and hot women. I have zero to complain about this place. My only complaint is that I'm only now finding out about this place. I've been here twice the last two weeks for brunch on Sundays. Their brunch menu is good, but I prefer the appetizers. It's more food and is delicious. I love the way they do their bottomless mimosas... They deliver an entire bottle of champagne so you are in charge. $15, for endless bottles of champagne...I think that is so fair. We have had the same server both weeks, Sarah, and she is wonderful. She's attentive, friendly, and also professional. She has never NOT smiled when she's been serving and being a past server myself, I know how hard that is. The ambience is cool as long as you're okay with cigar smoke (it is a cigar bar.) The chairs are comfortable and there is always plenty of seating. Highly recommend, especially on Sundays, if you want a relaxing, non-pressured brunch experience. read more

Came here to meet my cousin's friends. They smoke cigars, but didn't while we were there. Screens showing sports. It's nice, but the service was neglectful. I know that might not account for ALL of the servers ALL of the time, but today that was the case. The happy hour was decent- 1/2-priced drinks and some appetizers. The fries were great, and the Caesar salad with shrimp was surprisingly really good! I'd go back (with very low expectations of attentive service) if I wanted to watch a game and have Caesar salad at the same time. read more

The place used to be called Isla and it was our home away from home. Thankfully the renovation made it even better. A place to kick back with an excellent drink prepared by Alex who is an awesome guy. You can smoke cigars (they sell them) and cigarettes. The place upstairs with a piano is amazing. Oh man! This is a superb place. They serve drinks- mixed drinks and beer- pretty much everything- but they have these huge windows open all the time and you can smoke in there! YES! Sit by the big window, look out onto the West Hollywood bustle of Sunset Blvd, have a cool drink and smoke what cha' like! I saw some dude smoking a fat cigar, others cigarettes- if I knew it was like this I would have brought my one hitter!!! Really, I LOVED this aspect. But also the bartenders were super nice and friendly and took their time to talk to you, service was excellent, and the prices- especially for West Hollywood- were pretty moderate- and they have a very well priced Happy Hour. I am shocked to find this place, because L.A. isn't always on the ready with something this cool and user friendly and unpretentious. And though I myself am not a cigarette smoker- I absolutely adore the idea that you can be in that atmosphere again- just that romantic mixture of smoke and booze is so heady and fun to experience every once in a while, it's a portal to another time we have thankfully gone beyond- but should always have access to whenever we feel those niggling pangs of adventure to just wallow in these devil may care moments that put a little zing in your zap.
