Came here for a friends birthday brunch. This place is really cute. I love the colors and theme. I will say the menu didnt have much but I guess with brunch that would be expected. We ordered the coconut with pina colada was it worth $60 no lol but was it cute yes. I think they use an aged rum and thats why. We shared the sandwhich which was good portion and actually really good and fries. They gave a complimentary chocolate cake which was so cute. Overall very cutesy and the customer service was great.

Wow ok!! The BEST dining experience I've ever had! All the food was so worth it... especially the quesadilla. The cookie skillet was amazing as well. The cutest spot to eat and I have to go back soon!!!!!

This place is disappointing. The ambience is nice being pool side and the decor is cute but the food was all bland. The tenders were dry and had no flavor and the sandwich was also bland. The pancakes were decent and the fries were good but that's it. Overall I would not come back!

Of course this place is iconic. We came for a quick staycation at the hotel with friends to celebrate a milestone birthday and started with lunch here on arrival. Pro's: iconic view and fun crowd, love the decor all the way down to the classic attire of the service crew. Cons: service was a bit disjointed. When we sat down we were so excited and ordered drinks (froze and golden hour) and truffle fries and hummus to start (we had a discussion with our server about hummus v guacamole). Drinks came. Golden hour was very popular and loved. The froze was fine. More of a regret on not understanding how peachy it would be. I don't love peach in drinks. We then ordered mains, hubby and I split the club sandwich and our friends split skirt steak. Our hummus and fries never came. Mains showed up maybe 15 min later. As they were serving our mains I mentioned our missing starters and was met with. Well do you still want them? We decided fries would be good with the sandwich but cancelled the hummus. Fries showed up when we were well into our meal. Mostly just didn't get eaten. The service crew was super clunky clearing one random dish at a time from our table and not seeming to be coordinated. Nobody came to check on us. Food was all very mid (6 or 7 out of 10). We ended up tracking someone down to order a second round of drinks. Drinks were all served in plastic which I suppose is for safety near the pool, just loses some of the elegance you are hoping for here. I would skip this in favor of the polo lounge.

Having lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel was such a charming experience! I'm so glad I ordered the club sandwich--it was absolutely delicious, and I ended up eating every last bite. I swapped the salad for fresh fruit, which turned out to be a great choice. The berries were incredibly sweet and tasted like they came straight from the farmers market. A perfect meal in a beautiful setting!

came here for brunch! we made reservations and got seated immediately, there wasn't too many people here as it was a weekday. the staff was great and they even put "congratulations" on our plate of pancakes as we were celebrating a graduation! i'm not sure if they do that usually. and they even brought an extra dessert for us on the house! food was amazing as well! highly recommend for the ambiance! *beverly sunset *pink palace healthy club *Margherita flatbread *buttermilk pancakes *side of fries *fresh coconut water

I've wanted to come here for years and finally got to go for a ladies brunch. The vibes here give old school Hollywood charm. The seats are a bit low. I had the omelette which came with hash browns and toast. It was pretty good but nothing super special to write home about. It tasted better than I expected. You are definitely paying for the ambiance here. Definitely someplace to try at least once if you're in LA.

100% overpriced for what it is but worth it for the experience IMO. We had a lovely experience here, excellent service. The food was good! It wasn't super amazing, innovative, or crazy exciting--but it was solid. It wasn't hard to book a reservation online a day before we went. Also we went around 10 am for Sunday brunch and there was a lot of open tables. ORDER: The iconic McCarthy salad (a little too shredded for my taste, but was enjoyable) The burger The hotdog Onion rings $50 pina colada with coconut shipped from Thailand We said we were splitting the burger and salad, and they kindly split it for us on different plates. We celebrated a birthday and they gave a complimentary cute pizookie with ice cream, & maraschino cherry on top! They accidentally dropped and spilled drinks near our table, we experienced minor splashing, not a big deal. But the for inconvenience they gave us chips and guac! This place is so nostalgic, it feels like you're transported back to the golden age of Hollywood. The vibe is retro glamour vacation. Would go back and would recommend!

Had a great time at The Cabana Cafe for brunch. We tried a variety of dishes including steak and shrimp tacos, calamari, and tuna tartare. Prices are definitely on the higher side, but I definitely think this place is worth it for a nice brunch with family or friends. Service was amazing and the day was just right for an outdoor patio brunch. It was pretty busy ~ 12 pm and I definitely think making a reservation in advance is necessary. You have a nice view of the Beverly Hills Hotel pool and the surrounding area is perfect for those instagram shots. Tip: one thing you definitely need to get is the Piña colada that comes in a cute coconut! It was the perfect drink to finish off this brunch outing. Definitely can't wait to come back!

Came here for brunch today and had such a great experience! The hotel itself is beautiful and so nice to walk around. The Café is by the pool so you get to walk through the hotel and see the shops. We made a reservation in advance and were seated immediately upon arriving. We sat in a booth which is usually meant for 2 but we were able to seat 4 comfortably. The menu has a great selection of breakfast and lunch items. We started with coffee and some fresh juices that tasted great! For the omelette you're able to choose 4 ingredients and it comes with bread and a side - it was delicious and a great size! We got the pumpkin French toast to share, highly recommend! The burger was cooked just right and tasted great. Will definitely be coming back!

If you'd like a time machine that can transport you into glamorous 1920s Hollywood, then step into The Cabana Cafe. While the pricing is far from what they were paying in the 20s, the restaurant's decor still holds onto the classic timelessness of the era. Situated next to the pool, the colors are bright which makes this a great spot for birthdays or anything where you're looking for a cheerful vibe. I can't speak for all the items on the menu, but the Sunset Club Sandwich is quite large so if that's what you're eyeing, the portion will be more than filling. Also, a special thank you to our waiter! The place was busy so it understandably took a little longer for him to take our order. Without us even asking he told us to pick an appetizer on him. What? That never happens, but it did here. Again, a bygone era.

I absolutely love love this restaurant!!! I celebrate my birthday here every year! Morning Brunch with my family. Looking forward to be celebrating my bday in June and taking my bf here for his first time! I love how they are so attentive and welcoming. They gave me a beautiful birthday experience and can't wait for this year! Ps the pancakes and turkey club are to die for!

It was my best friend's 36th birthday and she really wanted to do brunch here. We had dinner at the Chateau Marmont recently and it was excellent, so we've been kind of in the mood to try out the various restaurants of classic hotels in the city. The hotel is lovely in an old fashioned sort of way, the history is really the attraction. It does come off as a bit pretentious and bougie but we were prepared for that, though I wish it was as good as it was self-important. We were also prepared for the prices, but expected incredible food. We got the flat bread pizza and the eggs Benedict, and honestly both were absolutely delicious and I know that the cost is not in the actual food but in the ambiance, so though I would rarely bother to pay $40 for an eggs benedict, it was fine. The size of the portions was excellent. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. We had a 1:00 reservation and we were a bit late, we got there at 1:10 and they seated us right away. A few minutes later she came by to get our drink orders, honestly those were both tremendously overpriced and non-alcoholic ($25 for a coconut). But again, I know we're paying for the place, so we were expecting this. However they never brought over waters, and then they took our food order when they delivered the drinks, the food order came out in a fairly timely fashion, and then nobody checked on us again for over an hour. The waitress didn't come by to ask if a food was to our liking, didn't come by to ask if we needed waters or refills on our drinks. I had a very brightly colored non-alcoholic juice beverage, and when I got about 3/4 through it, I started rationing it because I realized they hadn't come by and I didn't want to be without a beverage. My drink sat there slowly dwindling for over half an hour without any check in. It was clearly obvious (as I said, it was brightly colored) if anyone server bothered to walk by, and we got to a point where we started very obviously looking around for wait staff, only to spend at least 10 minutes not seeing a single server within view of our table. We finally flagged down a waitress who came to bring the bill to a table near us, and asked her for sparkling water and a coffee. Just a few minutes later our regular waitress came by, asked if we needed anything, we explained we already ordered sparkling water and coffee from the other waitress because we hadn't seen her in an hour. A few minutes later we received our sparkling water, coffee, and the two glasses of water which should have been delivered at the beginning of our meal. The cups for the sparkling water were plastic, and honestly I don't believe they were dirty but they were scratched up the way that acrylic tends to get over time. It wasn't the best look, especially since everything else was glass. I finally asked for the check, and thankfully at that point they remembered that it was a birthday and they brought out the piece of cake. Honestly, the cake was the highlight. It was absolutely amazing, a flourless chocolate and raspberry cake. And of course they didn't charge for that, but it was easily the best thing on the menu. Ultimately, we expected the price, we expected the quality of food, we didn't expect how good the dessert would be (5 stars for that!), and we were deeply disappointed with the service. We spent 2 hours there and barely saw our waitress. I'm hoping that was a one-time situation, but it wasn't like it was busy - there are very few people there. I appreciate when servers want to give you privacy to have conversations, but no check in to see if our food was to our liking or if our drinks needed to be refilled was pretty sad. Honestly, if you're interested in the history and you want to impress someone by not caring about price, this is a decent place. If you actually want good service, my experience tells me go elsewhere. At some point I'm sure I will try again and see if this was a fluke, but I'm not in any rush, even though it's conveniently located to me (I'm in Bel Air, the country club restaurant has a nicer vibe with much better service).

If I remember correctly, there is a ramp that gives you access to The Cabana Cafe which is next to the pool, but to be safe, I would suggest giving them a call to make sure :)

Oh, it presents as a textbook Jewish deli of old, with traditional brown booths and paneled dividers, dark Formica tables, and a menu featuring the greatest hits of deli dining. But the food here is overpriced and underwhelming, like so many of the other delis around town these days. The staff is nice, for sure. They welcome you with smiles, seat you quickly, and immediately offer you drinks. Everything is clean and well-preserved, so you feel like you're in for a great meal. I ordered my usual: Pastrami on Rye, Russian Dressing on the side, with Potato Salad. To drink: Dr. Brown's Cel-Ray, the very best soda for cutting through the richness of deli meat. The sandwich came promptly, and looked quite nice. The portion was appropriate for a normal sandwich (as opposed to being ridiculously stuffed), and the pastrami was nicely marbled. But looks can be deceiving. The bread was a bit too dense -- possibly made that way, or possibly a touch stale. Either way, after 2 bites I abandoned the bread and just ate the meat. The pastrami, while juicy with a soft texture, lacked flavor. I believe they bring their meat in from a purveyor, and the lack of inspiration is evident. Potato salad was also generously portioned, but had far too much mustard, and the result is a side dish that feels more Southern Picnic than Lower East Side. Again, this is a Deli serving a so-so sandwich at a price nearly the same as Katz's in NYC, and it's a shame. It's just not worth it. I've come to find that the best pastrami in Los Angeles is being served at places Johnny's in West Adams or on special at BBQ places, and usually at 2/3's the price. When it comes to Nate & Al's, I wouldn't say never go, but I wouldn't expect much bang for your buck -- or in the case of the pastrami sandwich, your 27-bucks.

We got to meet the owner Todd who introduced himself. I admire when owners interact with their customers, it truly shows their love for what they do! Now for the food! WOW! The burger was absolutely incredible. Hands down the best burger I have had at a restaurant in a LONG TIME. It was juicy, tender, flavorful, the cheese was melted beautifully, & the onion sauce that was on the burger was so tasty. It was the perfect combo that melts in your mouth The bun to meat ratio was perfect. Every bite had meat, cheese, and bun. The fries cooked in beef tallow were fantastic! Beautifully crispy and flavorful! The yuzu lemonade tasted fresh and tangy. Not too sweet and not too bitter! Overall such a memorable experience! I will definitely be coming back to check out their breakfast!

Ordered through Postmates, which delivery took a bit to get to me. Didn't mind the wait though. Let me just say, this soup was worth the wait. It was perfect and just what I needed to power me through the day. The broth was amazing and not greasy. The noodles reminded me of the Lipton noodle soup, which were terrific! Chicken was cooked perfectly and the carrots were soft and easy to cut into. I really enjoyed the matzo ball. Now what took this soup over the top was the bagel chips! OMGeeee... a variety of various bagels was really a delightful surprise. So how good is the matzo ball soup? Definitely in my top two favorite places. Highly recommend it! I am so happy Postmates recommend this spot for me to try! I definitely will be back and can't wait to try more menu items. For now, I will be dreaming of those delicious bagel chips. Simple yet tasty!
