    Menu- very pretty, hard cover

Good vibes, good food, bad value. The views were really nice and had good ambience and the food tasted great. However, I got the Cod and for something that's half the size of my hand, the cost being $40 was definitely a lil much for me. If you don't care about price, it's pretty nice place to go!

I enjoyed the overall experience having a lunch here on a beautiful day. I love that you can sit outside. We ubered here but the parking looks difficult; would recommend parking at the free Beverly Hills lots and walking over. The steak frites was okay, it was a little bit tough and even with the sauce it lacked flavor. The fries were also okay, but were too soft / large in my opinion... The servers were kind, but it was quite a slow experience. I think I would've enjoyed more if we came for a casual lunch, but I was in a rush to get back to work which made the experience not as fun :(

    Complimentary monkey bread

This place is located inside The Maybourne Hotel. There is a valet parking (though it's expensive, even with it being validated). There is a public parking garage right next door if you want to try that first. Service is warm and friendly. Everyone was so nice, attentive and helpful. We were able to sit outside thanks to making reservations online the night before. It's a very relaxing, welcoming and intimate setting. Started with the complimentary monkey bread -- it is so soft and fluffy and the topping is pure deliciousness. I think it's the butterscotch topping that goes with their popular pancakes. The monkey bread was wonderful! Ordered the pancake with butterscotch and it does not disappoint. $ large, hot pancakes drenched in butterscotch and a nice big disk of butter. It also comes with maple syrup and more butter and 3 different types of jam. Very nice Got the Hobbs smoked pastrami which comes with 2 poached eggs. Very solid, hearty and filling breakfast. Wonderful sourdough toast, sauteed green and red peppers with red onions and generous slices of pastrami. Also comes with perfectly crisp baby potatoes - so good. Ordered the fruit platter as well and the pineapple was the sweetest of the fruits. The rest were less sweet and only ok as they are not really in season - raspberry, blackberry, blueberries, strawberries, apples, honeydew, watermelon and cantaloupe. They all looked pristine, but just not sweet o r ripe just yet. I assume in summer, it'd be amazing! Couldn't help it and also ordered shoestring fries and they were perfect! if you like shoestring fries, order them! Had the pear orchard matcha (light, subtle pear flavor) and oxaxan latte (robust and tasty). Tip is automatically included at 20%

The Best Parts: 1. Outside seating is beautiful. Then again, you're essentially enjoying Beverly Cañon Gardens, which is a public park so you can enjoy the atmosphere without being a patron of the restaurant. 2. Staff is very professional and nice. There were some order mistakes but because the staff was constantly checking in, all the mistakes were corrected relatively quick. The menu is expansive and I liked that during weekend brunch time, you could still order non-brunch/breakfast items. But everything just tasted o-k. Also, wish they'd swap out the chairs with regular dining chairs. Either the chairs are too high or the tables are short. You end up awkwardly hunching because the chairs and tables do not go together.

    Croque madame
    Iren T.

I had breakfast at this restaurant and can confidently say it was one of the worst breakfast experiences in Los Angeles. We ordered the truffle eggs Benedict and the croque madame, and calling the meal disappointing would be an understatement. The presentation alone looked careless and unappetizing -- shocking for dishes at this price point. When you charge $40 for eggs Benedict, expectations naturally rise. One expects not only quality ingredients and flavor, but refinement and attention to detail. Instead, what arrived looked rushed and poorly executed. The croque madame was somehow even more baffling: the egg managed to be both undercooked and overcooked at the same time -- a culinary contradiction I didn't think was possible. The textures were off, the balance was unpleasant, and nothing on the plate justified the premium pricing. And to complete the experience, the restaurant automatically adds a 20% service charge to the bill, regardless of the quality of service or food. An unfortunate ending to an already deeply disappointing breakfast.

The apple tart was great!! There's no crust but it's the right amount of sweetness. The frozen vanilla soufflé I would skip. Portions good for sharing. Service is attentive. Ambiance is stunning over the holidays outdoor patio with heat lamps and holiday lights decor

Perfection! Had an early dinner before a show and sat outside on a lovely spring day. Vibes were high! Had an espresso martini and wine. Yummy! I had the Filet- impeccable! My cousin had the Corn Agnolottie and she liked it. I'd eat there any day! I wish I remember our servers name because he was delightful. She attentive and helpful and kind.

I took my mother and her friend for brunch at the Terrace last weekend. I wanted to do something special for them since the food at their retirement home is terrible. This was the perfect choice. The weather was ideal for sitting outside. All of the wait staff doted on us, particularly our waiter Brian who treated the ladies like royalty. They absolutely adored him. The Terrace has the most unusual croque madam. I had to take a picture of it.

Pancakes! The best I ever had!

The best Pancakes on earth! Pancakes taste like they are made with real butter, brown sugar, and vanilla. The eggs are cooked to perfection, the pastrami was tasty. The potatoes were a little dry, and the bread a little hard. Other than that, it was top! The Jasmin Tea was the most flavorful I ever had, and the lemon Matcha was very refreshing.

Everything about The Terrace at the Maybourne Hotel was fantastic on my recent visit. You can sit inside or outside. We chose outside as it was a beautiful evening, and the seating area is situated in a green park-like area surrounded by trees. Our server David could not have been more professional, helpful or friendly. He answered all our questions about the menu and the cocktails and helped us decide what to order. Everything we had was outstanding. The beet salad was a work of art, with golden, red and rainbow beets beautifully presented along with dates and walnuts. The whole branzino was perfectly cooked with crispy skin, and served with a grilled lemon. The duck was some of the best we've had, not fatty or greasy but rather plump and meaty. The old fashioned cocktail was made with pandan, which is a SE Asian leaf. The pandan gave it a unique flavor. I love the use of unusual ingredients. The Terrace is worth the splurge, and I will definitely be back to try the scallops and other menu items.

Stellar brunch ambiance in a peaceful courtyard! Great for a get together with friends or family. Service is kind and attentive. Food is above average and they offer sweet complimentary maki bread to start. The corn pasta, huevos rancheros, and classic terrace burger were delicious!

I visited with my friend and younger sister, and from the moment we arrived, we felt unwelcome. We were ignored by the hostess upon entering, waited an unusually long time just to receive water, and were never offered bread despite seeing other tables receive it shortly after being seated. The most frustrating part was the excessive wait for our meals. Multiple parties who were seated after us received their food before we did. When we politely asked our server for an update, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the delay. We were simply told, "It'll be a few minutes, it's getting plated," in a dismissive manner. Throughout the meal, our server never checked on our table, never asked how the food was, and never returned to see if we needed anything. We ultimately had to flag someone down just to request the check. I understand that restaurants have busy periods and delays happen, even though at the time it was not busy at all. What was disappointing was the complete lack of hospitality, communication, and basic attentiveness that one would expect from a restaurant operating within a five-star Beverly Hills hotel. The service we received was noticeably different from what we observed at surrounding tables. As young guests who were respectfully dressed, polite, and paying customers, we left feeling as though we were not valued or taken seriously. Whether intentional or not, the experience made us feel overlooked and treated as though we were somehow less deserving of the same level of service afforded to others. The food itself was not enough to make up for the experience. Given the prices, reputation, and setting, I expected professionalism and hospitality. Unfortunately, this was one of the poorest service experiences I have had at any restaurant, and certainly the worst I have experienced at a property of this caliber.

Like people said it was romantic and I was like sure, I guess in the pictures it kind of does. In person though??? Wow. Absolutely wow. I was in awe. I wish I could sit there every day. The lights and ambiance are truly insane. I have never experienced anything like it. Let me backtrack too and say that I paid $14 for valet which tbh is not too bad considering I didn't have to worry about my car or anything so it was worth it. Okay the food. We got Parker rolls and the Mezze plate for the table. Wow, the Parker rolls were as you would expect. Buttery goodness. French butter as you know...top tier. Okay the Mezze plate? Every single sauce was so good. The little cous cous thing in the Mezze plate was so cute and yummy. Then the main dishes. Seven vegetable couscous was great. However, no photos allowed and I respected the rules of the restaurant. So let me have my words do the photographic build up for Olivetta. We were headed to valet ($20) and somehow lucked into getting one of the very few parking spots right out front, score. We were warmly greeted and walked to our reservation immediately, walking by a rowdy gen x party at the bar adorned in cowboy hats & wanna-be influencers at nearly every table. It's so pretty inside, each room a little different but equally awe inspiring. I loved the vibe and my seat was perfectly placed in front of a giant mirror. My avoidant self did not have to view my reflection, but rather it was like a TV showing me all the hustle and bustle of the restaurant as diners shuffled back and forth to their seats. Watching the crowd was fun. Classy, range of ages, range of demographics but everyone is LA cool. You can be who you want here and Olivetta exemplifies that under their beautiful exterior. We had a perfect server by the way, very friendly and gave just the right level of service, not too much, not too little, just what I like, like I'm Goldilocks of Yelp LA Dining. We started with the squash blossoms, maybe regrettably so, as we had a hard time choosing an app. I'll try something else next time as they underwhelmed me. A nice crisp on the flowers but the stems were a bit much and I just found this dish to be aiight. Now the pastas I absolutely loved. We tried two and just adored them both. I was actually surprised at how good the portions were for such a classy, cute place. The Creste di Gallo was a sensation for the eyes and mouth, with a fun tableside creation of this dish. There's a generous shaving of cheese and delectable bone marrow in the dish, really great flavor and consistency. The Agnolotti was equally, if not even more, creamy and delicious. I was so full but could not stop eating this rich sauce over sage cream sauce and dried sage leaves. The roasted carrots were a nice accompaniment with our meal over a puffed feta bed sprinkled generously with pistachio and dill. Despite being full, we were still able to get through about half of the Chocolate Olive Oil Cake which was fluffy and soft with a chocolate ganache to pour over the top. I wouldn't have minded if this came with gelato or ice cream, just a tad but it was still a solid dessert. I do wish they had some non-alcoholic items like hot tea or coffee or espresso to go with dessert, they only had alcoholic offerings. Prior to beginning dinner, we did order some drinks. They had 3 Mocktails on their menu and were out of 1, so my friend and I ordered the only 2 mocktails ($16 a pop) options on offer. We found them okay - just fine, but wished they were excellent or more NA options were available & more care was intended for those of us who are Cali sober. Other than drinks though, I absolutely loved Olivetta. I'll absolutely be back to try more on the menu and I'm sitting here craving the Agnolotti, omggggggg it was so bomb. I def will be copping that dish again.

We will be back. I highly recommend this restaurant for a birthday celebration, or even if you just want a special evening with your significant one.

I normally don't write bad reviews. If you look at my other reviews, they're almost all 5 stars…read morebecause I like supporting small businesses. Last night, my friend and I visited this restaurant. We were told there was a $50 cover charge, and if we wanted a table, we had to spend $150-$200 per person. We decided to sit at the bar instead and ordered food and drinks. The bar service was fine, and the show itself was good. However, before we entered, security told us that once the show started, we would not be allowed to use the restroom for 30 minutes. We accepted that, but when the show began, several employees and a security guard stood directly in front of us and completely blocked our view. I politely asked a few times if they could move because we were there to watch the show, but they didn't seem to care. The security guard remained directly in front of me, making it impossible to see. Eventually, I had to move to an empty table by myself just to watch part of the performance, while my friend stayed at the bar. There were plenty of empty tables available, which made the situation even more frustrating. What made this even more disappointing was that by the end of the evening, the two of us had spent about $450 on food and drinks--more than enough to meet the table minimum they originally mentioned. Despite that, we were never offered a table and remained at the bar. Unfortunately, after paying the cover charge and spending that much money, not being able to properly watch the show was very disappointing. Because of this experience, I don't think I'll be returning.
