The Lovely Interior of Baldi. April 2026.

If you want top-notch food and stellar service, head over to Baldi!!! Located in Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, this brand new addition will make you drool!!! Highly recommended for EVERYTHING in utter deliciousness!!! This is what I had...... Tuna Carpaccio, a secret menu item, fresh and very tasty!!! Thin slices of mouthwatering tuna with out-of-this-world flavors of lemon zesty oil, and other ingredients, that's difficult to describe. You won't be disappointed with this dish! Sweet Corn Tortellini. Aww!!! The buttery truffle flavors. The pasta just melts into your mouth. Piping hot and fresh!!!! This dish is definitely impressive, and an absolute joy to eat!!! If you're into sweet corn, you'll definitely taste that! For Dessert...... Their Cheesecake.... NOT at all like any cheesecake that you would get at The Cheesecake Factory. Night and day comparison. I'm not a cheesecake person, but I'm so glad to have tried this dessert. Once you take a bite, it had the consistency of a mild cheesy mousse with sweetness that is so satisfying. Not overly sweet, and it was perfection!!! The berries complemented the textured creamy cheesecake with gusto!!!! Watch out, Yelpers!!!! Baldi is pricey!!! But this place rocks!!! Outstanding customer service, and the lively bar and atmosphere is the ticket to an enjoyable evening!!! This place is highly recommended to impress your clients, an elegant first date, or an amazing celebration!! What a most memorable evening, I've experienced!! Baldi certainly knocked my socks off!!!! Please call or make an OpenTable reservation ahead! Weekends are a challenge to score a reservation! Dress sharp!! You bet, I'm returning!!! Trust me, you won't regret it!! Cheers and Enjoy!!!!

They've been open only 6 weeks . Wanted to check out the E Baldi bigger sister restaurant in the Waldorf . Beautiful wood decor . Got bar seating only . The steak was good . Came with sauces . The shiitake mushrooms were not the same like ebaldi. Not crispy enough . Looking forward to coming back for the Florentine steak promised that is only available Wednesday to the weekend. Bar service personnel were friendly and fun .

My friends and I were so excited to try this brand new restaurant Baldi in the Waldorf for my birthday. When you pull up, valet takes your car and it's $15 with validation. You walk into the beautiful hotel and Baldi is immediately to the right. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful with high ceilings and decor. They also have outside seating where I saw the beautiful Elle Fanning dining with her Rollingstone boyfriend Gus. The vibe here was luxurious and lively. There's a bar area too and the co-owner of the Waldorf came to talk with us and told us to come back during happy hour which he said we will love. From my very first step inside everyone from the staff was wishing me a happy birthday which felt really good. Now let's get to the food. Our waiter Omer gave us some recs when asked. If you're expecting the same menu from giorgio baldi or e. baldi, don't...this is a steakhouse so the food is a bit different. We ordered the following: lemon spritz, espresso martini, chicken meatballs, burrata, Piccolo Grand Fritto Misto (calamari), Hamachi Carpaccio, sliced artichoke, Sweet Corn Tortellini, Lobster Linguine, Large Ricotta and Butternut Squash Gnocchi, Thin Filet of Salmon, Chicken Milanese, charred broccolini, and a slice of Cheesecake and slice of Chocolate for dessert. Everything was good, some better than others. My fave was the chicken meatballs, sweet corn tortellini, and butternut squash gnocchi. The artichoke and chicken Milanese leaves a lot to be desired and the hamachi was good but the peppercorn on it threw me off. I had a good time here and I'm excited to come back for happy hour and more nights out with my girls. They have only been open a couple of weeks and I already know this is going to be the new go to spot in Beverly Hills.

What an incredible dining experience. E & Co did not disappoint. The hamachi was fantastic, the Kale take on a Caesar salad was incredible and the Tiramisu plus coffee ice cream was so delicious! Omer provided us was excellent service, and the rest of the staff were just as accommodating and professional. Definitely coming back! You can thank me later.

Had a great experience at Baldi tonight. First off, the service was one of the best I've had in a while. From the moment you walk in to the end, you have a great staff trying to make your experience the best they can. The space is also beautiful. We sat outside and felt like we were on vacation. The food was great. We ordered the artichoke salad, corn tortellini pasta, pomodoro pasta, kosher ribeye, and potatoes. Everything was delicious. I would recommend this spot for a special night out.

Fabulous food at the beautiful new upscale steakhouse Baldi at the Waldorf Astoria hotel. We had the Wagyu Australian Tomahawk steak and the rib eye steak - both were cooked and flavored to absolute perfection. One of our guests said " best steak he's ever had in LA!! " Our delicious sides , asparagus, roasted potatoes and broccolini were perfect. We tried 3 desserts , burnt cheesecake ( beyond description!! ), apple pie with ice cream equally yummy , old fashion banana split! The service was exceptional, personal, attentive, warm and gracious ( thank you Jerod!) Highly recommend this epic new restaurant.

*Late Post*…read more Ambiance: As soon I walked in, the decor and energy set a live vibe. The place was packed with people, due to the high recognition of steaks, and sushi. Service: The service was a bit slow, but understandable due to the popularity of this location. Food: The food was top notch and delicious! Unfortunately, this place permanently closed. I hope Salt Bae can sprinkle some love back into reopening.

Started the night with cocktails, and I can say, the Ambrosia is delicious. It has a tequila base with coconut cream and passion fruit. Just very good. The Light My Fire was a nice show as it cooked our and is kit on fire, but the first didn't match that is the Ambrosia. So, with DineLA, we were given bread and butter at the table. The bread was actually more they basic and had a nice flavor to it. For our appetizer, I ordered the steak tartar. On the menu, it had a lot going on with Dijon mustard, chili sauce, shallots, cognac, etc, but I can't say so if there ingredients were noticable in the flavor profile or on the pallet. But paying that on the potato crisps was still a decent bite. The salmon tartar was decent as well but didn't necessarily stand out. The real winner was the meat sushi with avocado cream and parmesan. Totally unexpected and very good! In terms of entrees, we tried a little of everything. I had the wagyu NY steak, cooked medium rare. It was cooked very well on the inside, could have had a better crust on the outside. And they give you your own side of kosher salt so you can "salt bae" it yourself. You also had a choice of side between mashed potatoes and mushrooms. I got the mushrooms and I'm very glad I did. They were very good with 2-3 tired of mushrooms in the medley. The prime NY steak was ok, it didn't really stand out, and the wagyu burger was also decent but, in Los Angeles, with so many great burgers, you really need to step your game up it you want to be noticed, and this burger did not accomplish that. With dessert, there were four options. I choose the San Sebastian Cheesecake, and, for our table, no one really loved it. It is definitely not your standard cheesecake, much less sweet and without that nice graham cracker crust you come to know and love. There was a chocolate sauce on half of it which gave it a little something extra, but it really was not a hit for our table. The pistachio baklava came with a show as the assembled it, but the energy of the show to assemble the baklava was better then the baklava itself. Overall, a nice experience, staff was nice and attentive to our take and our needs, but the food just didn't hit as we all hoped it would.

We came to Matū for the Dinner for Two, and everything we were served was impeccable. The seasoning was spot on, the salt level was perfect, and every cut of meat was cooked beautifully. I'm a big fan of my steak on the rarer side, and Matū absolutely delivered. The braised beef cheek was probably the highlight of the night for me. It was unbelievably tender, rich, and one of the most memorable bites of the meal. After finishing the Dinner for Two, which really showcased the quality of the meat, we decided to split a cheesesteak since "that's what they're known for." When it arrived, it looked incredible. Unfortunately, that's where the excitement ended for me. The meat tasted oddly oily. I'm not sure if it was the cut, the preparation, or even the cheese, but it came across as heavy and greasy compared to the beautifully simple, clean flavors of the steak dinner. It was also underseasoned, and I found myself tasting the sesame seeds on the bread more than the filling itself. The chips were fresh and crunchy at first, but they lost their texture surprisingly quickly, so eat those immediately. Overall, I absolutely loved the steaks, sides, and cocktails, and I'll happily be back for those. But as for the cheesesteak? Once was more than enough.

Matu is a dream for meat lovers, with a menu centred entirely around Australian wagyu. Nothing…read moreshowcases that commitment better than the Matu dinner ($87 per person; minimum 2 persons), a multi-course meal that highlights different cuts of the cow in every single dish. Things begin with a 24-hour bone broth shooter, looking like a glass of gravy but tasting like concentrated umami. Rich, warm, and deeply comforting, it's remarkable how delicious it is despite containing only broth. The steak tartare follows with freshly chopped beef, egg yolk, and what the menu describes as a "Japanese accent," possibly togarashi. Whatever the seasoning blend is, it works beautifully. The tartare is incredibly flavourful despite its minimalist presentation. Thin, lightly toasted crostini accompany it without overpowering the beef, though I did ask for extra slices just to finish every bite. The eight-hour braised beef cheek was one of my favourite courses. So tender and moist that you could practically eat it with a spoon, the richness is balanced by a silky celeriac purée that ties everything together beautifully. It's the kind of dish that immediately makes you want another serving. Even their '47' salad leans heavily into the restaurant's beef-first philosophy, featuring more steak than greens. The 3-ounce centre-cut filet was impressively tender for such a lean cut, and although it arrived rarer than I'd typically order, it worked perfectly. At Matu, diners aren't asked how they'd like their steak cooked. The kitchen prepares it to the chef's specifications, trusting the quality of the beef and their technique. As for the romaine leaves underneath, they're coated in a signature dressing that tastes remarkably similar to Caesar, despite being made without dairy or eggs, then finished with a generous showering of Parmigiano. After all that beef, you'd think sharing a 12-ounce ribeye would feel excessive. Somehow, it didn't. The steak is prepared simply, allowing the quality of the wagyu to speak for itself, with crispy grilled broccolini providing a garlicky contrast alongside it. A small dish of salt is presented at the beginning of the meal, though Matu intentionally keeps the seasoning restrained. Personally, I appreciated the lighter touch and never felt the need to add more. Dessert arrives in the form of Scott's flourless chocolate cake ($12), dense and rich without being overly sweet beyond a dusting of powdered sugar. After an entire menu devoted to beef, I almost found myself jokingly wondering whether wagyu somehow made its way into dessert too.

Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most disappointing dining experiences we've had, especially considering the nearly $800 bill. There were six of us. Three ordered the California Cut at $57 each, two ordered the Lawry's Cut at $72 each, and one ordered the Double Cut at $111. We also had mashed potatoes, spinach, creamed corn, a baked potato, two glasses of wine, a tequila, a Diet Coke, and a Sprite. For those prices, we expected quality. Sadly, every single cut of prime rib was disappointing. The slices we were served had an excessive amount of fat and marbling, and none of us felt the meat was worth anywhere near what we paid. The Yorkshire pudding was hard and cold, and even the salad was disappointing. To top it off, our waiter forgot to provide salad forks. The service also did not match the level of dining experience we expected from a restaurant like Lawry's. Our server may have been new, but repeatedly addressing our table with phrases like "y'all" and "Y'all need anything else?" felt far too casual for what is supposed to be an upscale dining experience--especially at these prices. We came expecting a special evening and a quality meal worthy of Lawry's reputation. Instead, we left feeling extremely disappointed and regretting that we spent nearly $800 on a dinner that simply was not worth it. For a restaurant at this price point, the food, service, and overall experience should have been significantly better. Unfortunately, based on this visit, we would not return.

I hate that I can't remember my server's name because he was phenomenal. I don't drink alcohol, but he recommended a few mocktails that were absolutely delicious. He also guided almost all of our food and dessert choices, and every recommendation was spot on. I originally made a reservation for indoor seating, but since it was such a beautiful day, we decided to sit outside by the pool. It ended up being the perfect choice. There atmosphere was relaxing, the noise level made conversation easy, and the view was beautiful. For food, we ordered the Pappardelle al Ragù, which was delicious. The pasta itself was perfectly cooked with great flavor. I wouldn't have minded a little more protein, but it was still a really enjoyable dish. We also had the Little Gem Caesar with chicken, a classic done exceptionally well. The standout, however, was the Diavola pizza. The combination of spicy soppressata with the honey drizzle was absolutely top tier, and the soft, airy crust brought everything together perfectly. It was easily my favorite dish of the meal. To drink, we had a couple of non alcoholic Cosmojitos, which were refreshing, flavorful, and a great complement to the meal. We closed out the evening with the homemade carrot cake, and wow it was the cake of my dreams. Perfectly moist, incredibly flavorful, and just the right level of sweetness without being overpowering. It was the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. Overall, this was an outstanding dining experience with exceptional service, delicious food, and a beautiful ambiance. The staff also wears gloves when handling food. There are no hand sanitizers available for customers to use. I mention these things in my reviews for the sake of protecting immunocompromised people like the elderly and people sick with cancer and other illnesses. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was eating my food in this establishment, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently do have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: They only have valet parking here. Valet parking is $15 not including tip. Apparently during peak business hours or during the holidays, they will jack up the prices for valet parking. You have been warned! The best part about solo dining is eating whatever the hell I want without any judgement or pushbacks from other people. And I could eat at my own pace and people watch. Food and Drinks: At the bar, I ordered their famous berries and bubbles cocktail. It is famously crafted with a mix of citrus-infused vodka, fresh lemon juice, marinated blackberries, and a splash of brut, topped with dry ice to create a billowing, theatrical smoke effect. This drink was incredibly fruity and refreshing. The perfect alcoholic beverage for the summer. When I finally got my own table, I ordered their famous jumbo lump crab cake, lobster bisque, and caviar as my three appetizers. The jumbo lump crab cake is a signature appetizer here at Ocean Prime. I like their generous portion of premium crab meat and its elegant presentation. It is served alongside a sweet and sour slaw and a zesty horseradish mustard aioli. The crab cake was very tender and sweet. It balances the richness of the crab with the bright, slightly spicy kick of the aioli. It was baked to perfection. The lobster bisque was so yummy and creamy. It is a rich, velvety soup made with tender lobster meat and a flavorful broth. I like that they have generous, tender pieces of butter-poached Maine lobster in the soup. Ah yes. The Sturgeon caviar. Yes, I am a fancy and extra woman, and I have extremely expensive taste in food. I love me some artisanal caviar. Yum! Anyways, this wasn't on their menu, and I had to special request this. Caviar served on mini pancakes?!?! Say less! I loved how fluffy and soft the mini pancakes were. The caviar had a luxurious, buttery texture. It also had a subtle briny flavor. I found that the caviar bursts on the palate rather than tasting overly fishy. Honestly, putting the caviar on top of the sweet mini pancakes was brilliant because the mini pancakes acted as a neutral canvas so the distinct briny taste of the caviar could shine through. Moreover, I ordered the lobster linguine and sea scallops. The lobster linguine is a popular seafood entrée featuring fresh al dente cooked linguine tossed with succulent lobster meat, roasted tomato butter, arugula, chili flakes, and freshly grated parmesan. Btw, I hate arugula, so I asked the staff to remove it from this dish. Flavor wise, this dish had a delicate balance of rich roasted tomato butter and a kick of spice from chili flakes. I'm a sucker for all things pasta, so this dish hit the spot and satisfied my pasta craving. The sea scallops were fire!!! The jumbo sea scallops were perfectly seared to a golden brown, moist, and tender. The sea scallops were severed on a bed of lobster risotto. The lobster risotto was very rich and creamy. They used a rich Arborio rice cooked with chunks of melt in your mouth lobster, roasted tomatoes, and a savory shellfish. This dish won my heart. And finally, for desserts, I ordered their famous 10 layer carrot cake and creme brûlée. Now, normally, I hate carrot cakes, but since this was highly recommended, I decided to give this a shot. Needless to say, I still hate carrot cake, but I could appreciate this restaurant's take on this dessert. The cake itself was very moist and tasted spicy due to the cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. This dessert is layered with lots of cheese icing and pineapple syrup. I found the cream cheese icing and whipped cream to be extremely delectable, but that's about it. The creme brûlée is a classic and indulgent dessert featuring a rich, velvety vanilla custard, a perfectly crisp caramelized sugar crust, and fresh seasonal berries. I loved the warm and crunchy top, and I truly enjoyed the rich, vanilla-scented custard. Staff: The staff here are very welcoming, attentive, and chill. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

From his warm, welcoming personality , to his witty remarks & stellar expertise on the menu and the different steak cuts you offer. Paul is truly a GEM! We truly enjoyed our experience last night! The entire vibe was through the roof for us! We also enjoyed the restaurant music, which in most establishments is not that great. So who ever was in charge of the music playlist last night, AWESOME JOB! To the Chef, everyone at the table throughly enjoyed our meals! the steaks were cooked perfectly & the sides were so delicious! I personally enjoyed the corn crème brulee. Only a genus could come up with that. We want to thank Steak 48 and most importantly Paul, for an outstanding job and amazing customer service! We can not wait to come back

Perched above the city with incredible views, it manages to feel both glamorous and comfortable. Whether you're celebrating something special or simply enjoying a night out, the setting alone makes the evening memorable. The service is polished and attentive, the cocktails are expertly crafted, and the food is everything you'd expect from Mastro's: beautifully prepared, indulgent, and consistently excellent. Add live music and a room full of energy, and you've got the kind of atmosphere that encourages you to stay longer than planned. There are plenty of restaurants with great views and plenty with great food. The Penthouse at Mastro's delivers both, which is why it remains one of my favorite spots for a classic Los Angeles night out. You feel like you are on vacation. This place might have been a hotspot a decade ago, but it clearly hasn't kept up. We came as a party of six and every single person left disappointed, which says a lot. The biggest issue was the food quality. We ordered a wide range of items, including sushi, steaks, sides, and dessert -- and not one dish impressed. Service however was great - 2 stars for that .  Both sushi dishes had to be sent back, which is already a bad start for a restaurant of this caliber. The steaks, which should be the highlight, were underwhelming and but not terrible. Sides didn't redeem the experience either, infact the lobster mac and cheese, in particular, was shockingly bad. It tasted like microwaved Kraft with a tiny, almost nonexistent piece of lobster. Our favorite item on the menu was the bread basket and bone marrow.  Even dessert fell flat, which is rare to mess up but somehow still happened. For a group of self-proclaimed food lovers, this was genuinely surprising -- and not in a good way. There are far better options at this price point. Steak 48 easily outshines Mastro's in both quality and execution, and even BOA along with BLVD deliver a more consistent and enjoyable experience. Overall, a VERY disappointing night and absolutely not worth the price point. You're better off literally in any steakhouse but this one.

The setting is lush, elegant, and wonderfully peaceful, with the terrace overlooking the gardens and pool area. We randomly ended up here after being in the hot sun shopping Beverly Hills. Such a nice relief. We started with the bread, which was simple but delicious, then had the strawberry gazpacho, a refreshing and unexpected summer dish that felt light, bright, and beautifully presented. The corn agnolotti was a standout, rich and delicate with that perfect balance of sweetness from the corn and savory depth in the sauce. The bolognese was comforting and satisfying, a classic done well, and the Caesar salad was fresh, crisp, and but not presented as a traditional Caesar. It is two romaine wedges. We ended with the chocolate mousse and it was a lot of food. Maybe better to share as the portions are generous. The food, atmosphere, and service made it feel like a true Beverly Hills escape. It is a lovely choice for a special lunch, a girls' day, or taking visitors somewhere that feels quintessentially Los Angeles.

Hmm... where do I start?…read more I was interested in booking one of their private dining rooms, so I reached out well in advance. I have to say the communication leading up to the event was pretty disappointing. I sent emails, called multiple times, and often got no response. I eventually found out that only certain people handled private event bookings, but getting in touch with them was a challenge. Every time I called the hotel, I was told they had sent the events team a message. Even after I finally secured the reservation and paid the deposit, I still had questions that went unanswered. In fact, some of them weren't addressed until the night before the event, which was pretty stressful when you're trying to coordinate a special occasion. For a hotel that markets itself as a luxury 5-star property, I honestly expected much better communication and customer service. The booking process definitely did not feel like a 5-star experience. That said, once the day of the event arrived, everything went much more smoothly. The service during dinner was good, and the staff took care of us well. We had a prix fixe menu for our guests. I had the steak, which was cooked really well, and the tiramisu was a nice way to end the meal. Most importantly, everyone had a great time, which is what mattered in the end. One tip if you're planning to come here: there's an underground public parking garage right next to the hotel that's much cheaper than using the valet. Overall, the food and service on the day of the event helped make up for a lot of the frustration beforehand. I just wish the communication and event planning process matched the standard that The Maybourne advertises.

There's a TV at the bar, and the bar is also in the main room, but it works. A huge shoutout to our server, Levi. One of the best in the business. He really made this an extra special experience for us. We all had various rolls, and they were all works of art....and yes, they were delicious. I had cheesecake for dessert. Probably the best cheesecake I've ever had. Nice 'n light. Perfect!! There's a social hour, which I'm guessing is another name for happy hour, daily from 5-7 pm with a nice variety of food and drink specials. They have parking on the side of the building. That's a huge plus in that area. Worth checking out.

The hostess was super kind and led us to a table right next to a beautiful olive tree in the main seating area, which made for a very comfortable vibe and a lovely view. Our server, Levi, provided outstanding service throughout the night and was super knowledgeable and attentive. He was honestly the main reason we had such a lovely time, as his energy was great and he was constantly checking in on us and making sure we were satisfied with everything. To drink, we had the Yuzu Whiskey Sour and the Melrose Passionfruit Martini, both of which were refreshing, delicious, and paired well with our food selection. I also had a Raspberry Breeze mocktail, which was sweet, tart, and bubbly! To eat, we started with the Rock Shrimp, which had a great spicy flavor and crunch to it. We also tried the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, which I liked, but I think the price on this item is a little steep, and you might be better off ordering another roll or menu item. For rolls, we ordered the Crunchy, the Tiger, the Lemon, and the Killer. Of these, my favorite had to be the Killer, as it was super fresh and had a great kick to it. Chef Salvador graciously sent over some Bluefin Tuna and Yellowtail nigiri for my partner and me to try, and it was such a thoughtful gesture and delicious treat for us. We were also kindly given a key lime pie to end our meal and celebration on a sweet note. The presentation for everything was lovely, and I really enjoyed the little radish stars! Overall, the fish is among the best and freshest I've had, the drinks are great, and the service is unmatched; I truly felt catered to and cannot wait for my next experience here! Thank you, Levi, Chef Salvador, and everyone at the Red Fish for an unforgettable anniversary dinner!
