Must visit restaurant! Literally my favorite place to dine. Service amazing! Aesthetics amazing! Food quality, can't compare to any other location. Drinks amazing.

This is such a fun place. I've been here multiple times and always have a great time. The outdoor patio is absolutely lovely. With the high hedges, you can't even tell your right in the middle of the hustle-and-bustle of West Hollywood. My girlfriend and I had drinks and an amazing dinner. She had the brick chicken and I had the scallops. We split the crudités. Everything was delicious. The servers were attentive without being overbearing. They have valet, and there is limited street parking. There's also a parking structure about a block away. Better to park there and avoid the frustration.

Wonderful place for brunch. It's a really good idea to have a reservation in advance because it's popular. I reserved via OpenTable. Trendy and can be a bit of scene with a chic vibe but very chill. Ladies (and some men) who lunch and brunch with friends crowd. I had a birthday lunch here once and it's a great place to celebrate a special event with friends. You can relax and talk out loud as the restaurant has a fun and animated social atmosphere, which is nice with a group. Good service. They make excellent pizza. The dish I really love on the brunch menu is the "Green Eggs" with avocado, spinach and pesto...which always makes me smile because it reminds me of Dr. Seuss and his character Sam in "Green Eggs With Ham". My favorite dessert was their fabulous Pavlova, but it's no longer offered. The Meyer Lemon Meringata is a great substitute.

Everything was amazing but what stood out the most was the service! Adolfo was the best! Will be coming back in two weeks once we return from our trip. We came to start our anniversary celebration before our flight and our server Adolfo was the highlight! He recommended all the best specials and desserts! We had the spicy salami pizza, tortelli pasta, and endive salad (not pictured) along with cookies & flourless cake for dessert with mint tea. All the food was 10/10 and I would highly recommend pairing your meal with a bottle of wine. The service is exceptional, everyone came around to check in and make sure everything was good. The patio is super cute and cozy and romantic.

Went for a friends birthday dinner and it was actually super cute! The temperature inside was PERFECT, it's January and freezing outside but we had dresses on and were able to take out jackets off and be comfortable, which is SO appreciated first off. It's a bit pricey here, but we ordered a variety of courses and everything was INCREDIBLE! This place is so chic, classy, old money, if you get the vibe. Super instagram worthy and a great place to get cute dinner pics, and show off your outfits. The service was top notch by all the gentlemen we interacted with. The manager maybe or just a stranger in a suit came by and checked in, which was kind also. Literally every single thing ordered was beyond delicious, ricotta toast, squash blossom, all the truffle options, truffle pasta, truffle pizza, the steak, bread service, it was spot on. I'll be back. Thank you Cecconi's! Please don't skip this spot if you're a foodie .

Friendly hostess. Food was superb. Correctly served by caring staff. Valet parking was easy. Dress stylish or casual.

Warm and welcoming greetings the minute we arrived.

There is such a wide and deep range of places to try in the greater Los Angeles area that it is possible to get endless 5-star experiences from diners to ballrooms. I like all types of places as long as they are clean and the food is good. But, isn't it nice to add an upscale elegant environment? One where you feel appropriate dressing up just a bit, even in laid back SoCal? Cecconi's ticks all the boxes for me. The place is beautiful, inside and out, secluded (see my photos), appointed with an eye to refinements (again, the photos), with a balanced menu that gives both carnivores and herbivores plenty to choose from. With easy parking and reasonable prices. Oh, and available on Sunday afternoons, my favorite time to eat out. Even on what could be described as a dreary, rainy day, the place was packed. The service was top-notch too. Nicco and Paolo waited on us cheefully, discreetly and expertly. The dishes looked decorative and imaginative and the portions were ample, so we were able to take a lot home for another meal -- I love that. See what we had in my pictures. Everything we ordered was delicious, perfectly prepared, and served at the ideal temperature. Most of all, I truly enjoyed seeing the WeHo/BH crowd in glittering attire, amid the t-shirts and jeans that seem to plague our times. C'mon people, don't you want an excuse to wear your diamonds and pearls once in awhile? You can do it and blend in at Cecconi's, truly a local treasure. It was a festive meal that I am sure we will want to repeat soon.

An LA institution for years it also has been so many years since I've last gone to Cecconi's and it's nice to see it's still a great place to pick up a solid Italian meal (especially after a concert at the Troubadour on a weeknight if it gets out on time!). We ordered the squash blossoms, the tuna tartare and a spicy meat pizza all of which were great. The panna cotta - a revelation. So creamy and smooth with the right amount of texture. Perfectly paired with strawberry. Great service overall. Attentive and helpful in ordering making sure food came out quickly and fresh but also checked in on us regularly! Valet as there's no lot. Street parking can be tough, watch for signs!

Steak and eggs

I finally tried their brunch. It was a bit crowded but I was able to make a reservation the same morning. I was pleased to see steak and eggs on the menu. Most brunch places that make it fail, but not Cecconi's! They really know how to elevate the dish. The meat was cooked perfectly and was well seasoned. The burrata was also great, can't go wrong with it.

Cate T.

Wow what a great restaurant. I was so pleasantly surprised with the decor, service, outdoor seating, and food! I had such a delicious lunch here - everything was spectacular. The whipped ricotta was OUTSTANDING. I wanted to drink it. The special lunch of the day - mortadella and chilled tomato soup - was so so delicious. The fried artichokes were also delicious, as was the chicken milanese. The burrata starter was the only forgettable item. The service was also fantastic. This food was so good - happy to have had such amazing italian in LA!

Such a great place for lunch! The plates for shareable, but also enough per person. Our waitress was amazing and very attentive. The ambiance was great, however, it was a hot day so there were some flys flying around which was annoying, but nothing to not make me return for more! Prices are pretty pricey, so sharing was a great choice for us to try different options. Pizza- 8/10; very flavorful and good spice given the salami Pasta- 8/10; good amount of sauce and very soft Branzino- 9/10; favorite dish here! Definitely wish it was a bigger portion but nonetheless it was amazing! Calamari- 9/10 (not pictured); squid was very soft and amazing

Amazing service and ambiance. We were seated outside under the string lights which was amazing. Absolutely delicious food, highly recommend if you are only in town for a few days!

Cecconi's West Hollywood Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Cecconi's West Hollywood

What are the hours for brunch on Sunday?

Do they have a full brunch buffet on Sunday's like the Four Season used to have?

Cecconi's offers a brunch menu on weekends; however, it is à la carte rather than a buffet. Patrons can choose from a variety of Italian-inspired brunch dishes, but a full buffet is not provided.

Is there a Happy Hour menu? TIme?

Yes best happy hour in town!

Do they still offer the full English breakfast?

Yes they do

Are they making you show vax card still?

No not anymore I was just there on Sunday

Dress code? T-shirt and shorts ok?

This really isn't a 'casual place' like that. I would call to confirm you could wear shorts (I would think on the patio is ok...) and maybe a shirt with a collar. This is more upscale.

We need reservations?

They can be pretty packed, especially on weekends - so reservations are 100% recommended. The bar has limited seating

Do you still offer the English breakfast?

When will they reopen and why are they closed? They have been closed since Dec 5th 2021. As of Jan 4th 2022 they are closed (i live in the neighborhood and verified this today it also says on their website they are closed)

They are open again, I was there a few weeks ago Just need vaccine proof

Anyone knows the safety measures they are taking for outdoor dining during the pandemic?

Is this restaurant dog friendly?

Yes on the patio

Are the items under the "Plant Based" section vegan even though they don't have the "pb" next to them? I'm assuming so but just want to double check. Thank you so much!

Yes they are

Do they have Vegan options?

Hi Annette! Thanks for getting in touch. Yes, at Cecconi's we have several plant-based dishes and they are indicated on our menus with the notation "pb." All menus are on our website if you'd like to take a look. Hope to see you soon!

The phone number doesn't work?

I got a dinner reservation here for a group of 10 on Saturday night. I've never been here on my travels to LA and wondered if someone can tell me how nice/hip this place is? Hoping for not only good food but good vibe/atmosphere?

Super hip and trendy. The place is packed on the weekends.

I enjoyed one more happy hour and one more early dinner before they closed for good…read more During the HH, I had the truffle french fries and the pepperoni pizza. Fries were good this time, but I would go without the pizza in the future. On their final opening night I arrived too early; forgetting that dinner didn't start for an hour so I had the fries (again) while waiting for dinner. Thankfully, the order was put in a little earlier and I was able to enjoy the Penne alla Vodka. I was on the fence about the 20-Layer Cake but I ended up caving in, getting it to go for later. Unlike the first time I got this, they now had a perfect, custom box for the slice to fit whereas before they had to cut the cake in half to fit it into the box they had at the time. I know the New York location has delivery/to-go only, but there is still the Las Vegas one. Sad to see this place close down, as the location seems to be a curse for so many places (Hamburger Hamlet, Rivabella, Roku, now Lavo...).

During my foodie relatives' Thanksgiving week visit to Honolulu, we were discussing making…read morerestaurant reservations for our upcoming Christmas/New Year visit to Los Angeles. However, after we raved about our multiple dining experiences at LAVO Las Vegas, we were surprised to learn that none of our relatives had ever dined at the restaurant's Los Angeles location. So, when the opportunity arose, I made an after-Christmas dinner reservation through OpenTable and excitedly waited. We knew exactly where LAVO Los Angeles was located, as we had frequently driven past the Sunset Medical Tower on Sunset Boulevard and had eaten at the same restaurant space before it changed hands several times over the past decade or so. They offer valet service, which only accepts credit card payments, and because of the restaurant's location, you might as well use the service, because you'd be hard-pressed to find street parking. Our group of six arrived at the restaurant about 30 minutes before our reservation and were greeted by a friendly hostess who asked whether we were ready to be seated or preferred to wait in the bar. We chose to be seated, and she escorted us into the quiet, warm, yet festively decorated dining room. The busser approached us, took our water service request, and informed us about who our server would be. Our server, Addison, came to our table while the busser refilled our water glasses and offered assorted citrus slices to flavor them. After my brother-in-law showed Addison the magnum of wine he brought and asked if the sommelier could uncork the bottle, since it was not only a 2006 vintage but also had a long, possibly fragile cork, even though they kept the bottle in their personal wine storage. Unfortunately, they didn't have a sommelier on duty, and Addison informed us of the restaurant's impending end-of-year closure and confidently said she could uncork it with her trusty corkscrew. However, my brother-in-law decided to give it the "ol' college try" and successfully uncorked the bottle. FOOD: -Fritto Misto: a platter of lightly battered and fried zucchini, shrimp, calamari, and vinegary peppers with marinara was delivered to our table and was quickly shared and devoured. Everyone felt the fritto misto was light, delicious, and perfectly cooked. $28 -The Meatball: We've often seen this appetizer ordered at the Las Vegas site, but we never ordered it because we felt it was too much food to share between us. However, now that we had our family surrounding us, we ordered it. The 16-oz meatball is made with fresh-ground imperial Wagyu, Italian sausage, and veal. It is served with whipped ricotta and marinara. We shared the tender, toothsome meatball among us and sopped up the sauce with garlic bread. $34 -Semolina Sesame Garlic Bread: Addison highly recommended this garlic bread to pair with The Meatball and sipping on our Cabernet blend wine. The lightly grilled-toasted loaf was served with three dipping sauces (marinara, basil pesto, & Gorgonzola dolce). $18 -Zitoni Genovese: braised short rib, sweet onions, pecorino Romano. I received a generous portion of Neapolitan or Sicilian zitoni pasta (larger ziti tubes) and an intensely flavorful, tomato-wine-based, fall-apart tender, slow-braised short ribs ragù. This comfort-food pasta dish was so rich and filling that I could barely eat half the portion and ended up bringing home leftovers. $33 -Faroe Island Salmon Oreganato: My husband cut into the salmon filet, which had a light crisp coating of breadcrumbs and revealed the fillet's tender medium-rare doneness. The rich, buttery-tasting salmon filet sat atop a melange of sautéed vegetables and was dressed with a lemon, white wine, and garlic butter sauce. My husband jokingly said he could feel his heart health improving with each bite. $39 The rest of my family ordered their own entrees, and when we were nearly finished with our meals, we decided to share a dessert. We ordered the luscious 20 Layer Chocolate Cake ($29), and each of us commented on the "decadence" of chocolate, peanut butter, and mascarpone. During our dining experience, Addison informed us that LAVO Los Angeles would sadly be closing at the end of the year. We were happy to have supported this restaurant, and it was great to see so many others show their support during the Holidays.

Spicy Pomodoro (3.5/5) - This didn't hit as hard for me; I wished it was more spicy and I didn't taste any truffle. Pasta itself was perfectly al dente. Sweet Corn Agnolotti (5/5) - This was delish! Make sure to get equal parts of the pasta, sauce, corn, and crème fraiche (like a light sour cream) to get that flavor explosion. Blood Orange Pavlova (4/5) - A truly layered dessert because if you ate the sorbet by itself, it would be too sour but otherwise, another flavor explosion.
