Lavo's mimosa brunch is where it's at! Honestly, I almost don't want to share this because I don't want it to get so popular that I can't snag a reservation on a Sunday lol. We celebrated my mom's birthday here with family and friends (party of 8), and it was the perfect spot. This endless brunch is meant to be experienced with a group so you can try a little bit of everything. They bring out generous, family-style portions, all fresh and made to order. We had the chicken and waffles, truffle pizza, oysters, Caesar salad, chicken Parmesan, pancakes--just to name a few--and every single dish was delicious. And for the price? It's absolutely worth it: $65 per person plus $25 for bottomless mimosas. The value is chef's kiss. Our waitstaff was amazing--super attentive, kept the food flowing, and made sure our glasses were never empty. The whole vibe is immaculate. There's a DJ playing the best 90s and 2000s R&B, and a few of us couldn't resist getting up to dance at our table. The aesthetics, the food, the drinks, the service--5 stars all around. I will definitely be back! Heads up: Valet parking only.

I'm so sad they are closing for good next month! Once I heard this news, I knew I needed to hurry and dine here before I missed my chance. Let me start by saying the decor is so beautiful! Lavo is great for all occasions from date night to a girls night out. They also have a private table for a private party. The bar area is open seating... shout out to a Jessie! He was so nice and pleasant. The drinks he made were so delicious! I recommend the bubbles and berry or the lychee martin... you can't go wrong with either. Prior to finishing our night at the bar, we had dinner reservations in the main dining area. Rosie was great and made some good recommendations as well. Everything we ate was super delicious. I highly recommend the zitoni genovese (braised short rib pasta)..... EXCELLENT DISH! Filled with so much flavor and the short rib was so tender and delicious. Yum! I also enjoyed the Cesar salad and the tuna tartare. They have valet parking right in the front for $22 with validation.

Whoa!! The staff was amazing with my large group of 8. Rachel, in particular, was hands down one of the best waitresses I've met! She was thorough with explaining our options, extremely patient, knowledgeable & friendly. We all gathered for the brunch and they give you so many great options. In my opinion, the food was great quality and tasted amazing. I can tell they care about plating and presentation. I honey toast and it was DELICIOUS! They have Caesar salad and margarita pizza that is also pretty good. The restaurant is decorated beautifully for autumn and is larger than it looks from the outside. I want to shout out the DJ for the awesome playlist! I was dancing in my seat the whole time lol.

Came back from more espresso martinis and they are still soooo good. It's like having a dessert, coffee and cocktail all in one with the Buona Notte. Need to come back for dinner or brunch. Or both. It's so pretty in here.

Went here for a weeknight happy hour and we loved it and are so sad to see it should be closed as of now. The happy hour prices for the quality of food were killer. We loved the calamari and pizzette, and the truffle fries were good as well. I really enjoyed the martini flight, though I felt it could've been a little less sweet. The sparkling wine was also great. The restaurant is beautiful and a great spot for a weho date night. Street parking is hard to find but we luckily came on a weeknight and were eventually able to find some. Service was great and attentive. Wish we could come back!

It was my first time here and the ambiance was so nice! It is a little dark but it set the vibe. Karissa was amazing! She made sure she gave us time to think about what we want and was really patient with us. I am huge on customer service and she did not disappoint! Everything we ordered was 10/10! I would defiantly come back!

Grilled octopus - 4/5 Tuna tartare - 4/5 Mushroom ravioli - 4/5 Tagliatelle - 3/5 Beet salad - 3/5 Penne - 3/5 Dover sole - 3/5 Grilled artichoke - 2/5 bitter Veal - 2/5 sweet ? Overall, nothing was truly outstanding. Most dishes felt underwhelming. I did enjoy the ambiance, and the service was good , but that's about it.

I love the vibe at Lavo. It's Intimate, beautiful and covered in flowers. Rosie was an amazing waitress. She was polite, had good energy and was attentive. We ordered the tuna tartare, Caesar salad, and Margherita pizza to start. The Caesar was one of the best I've ever had. It was fresh with delicious house-made croutons. For entrées, we had the Faroe Island Salmon Oreganato and the Zitoni Genovese. The salmon was juicy with a perfect breadcrumb topping, and the zitoni was rich with well-seasoned short rib. We ended with cheesecake, drinks and coffee at the bar with Jessie. Jessie had great conversation and the best drink recommendations. The cheesecake's crispy top was pure bliss. Everything was fantastic.

You probably came for the brunch review! I went with 3 friends and we had a time! The food was great quality and you can try a variety of items. I highly recommend dabbling in the all you can drink options. We did the bloody Marty and it was so good! Our waiter was really good about keeping an eye on our food and drinks to make sure we had everything we needed. The food standouts were the tuna tartare, oysters, meatball, and french toast! The portions are on the bigger side - I wish they were slightly smaller because it is easy to get full quickly. I wanted to love the deviled eggs so bad but they needed a little more flavor. The salmon crisp was also not what I had expected -- it seemed a little overcooked and I was expecting more of a ceviche situation. I would absolutely go back for brunch and I think it's the best time with a group of friends!

Lavolini's Sweet Martini was fantastic, and the Yellowfin Tuna Tartare was hands down the best thing we tried--I would come back just for this dish. The Wagyu Beef Carpaccio was solid, and the Caesar della Casa was a fresh, satisfying salad. The Black Truffle Pizza was good, though I think one of the other pizzas might have been even better. The Penne alla Vodka was absolutely delicious, and the other white-sauce pasta was okay, though the portion was on the small side. Beyond the food, the ambiance is lovely, the bread was excellent, and it made for such a cute and cozy dinner date with the gals.

Came here for my mom's 82nd birthday... Oh my goodness! You walk in greeted by a lovely server. So calm. So demure. Then you walk over to the bar and have an amazing Martini ( or any drink of your choosing) until they come and get you and seat you!!! The "water fella" needs some personality. Nevertheless the overall experience is fabulous. The music is phenomenal. The music is Out. Of. Site!. Live DJ!!! The food is so freaking delicious...the decor is so au natural beauty. We had the booth in the corner. Perfect! Saw everything and everyone! Coming again....

Just visited LAVO for the second time, but now for endless brunch with the girls. What an experience this was! $55 pp for basically all you can eat/family style dining. You have the bottomless drink options for $20 classic mimosa (pick 3 juices), $35 Bloody Mary (choose your hard liquor), or $60 champagne. Certain menu items for the brunch can also be chosen for an additional charge. The dessert table is all you can eat. We ordered a number of items and were comfortable to eat and share amongst the 8 of us. We never felt rushed and were always topped off and brought fresh plates by the lovely Julio. Thank you for your amazing service! We were taken care of. The restaurant dining areas and bathroom were clean and tidy. Presentation of all the food and drinks were superb. The music playing from the DJ was on point. It's was such a vibe! I honestly can't wait to be back. Truly a great deal and they do not compromise quality or taste with any of the dishes.

The service, food and charming ambiance made it an unforgettable evening. From the moment we put our foot in, we know we're in for a treat! Every dish was spectacular! Michael's introduction of the specials were presented well. Our stomachs were thanking us for selecting this wonderful place. Can't wait to come back to try their famous sea bass. Parking is valet only. Don't forget to validate your ticket from the front desk. Great for family, birthdays, or any special occasions.

A small restaurant located inside this plaza in Beverly Hills that you would never know about unless someone told you. Every time I've been, the waiters, service and management have been so nice and come check on you constantly. There are several sections in the restaurant (I think 3 but I could be wrong), but we've dined in the main room which has a retractable ceiling for when it's too sunny out, they have a bar area that has a small little lounge section in the back of it, and it looks like there may be another section that I haven't been to. The place definitely gives off those Latin vibes and you feel it once you arrive. As for the food, my boss ordered appetizers for the table, which were shrimp tacos, flautas, and empanadas which were all very good! My favorite were the flautas with guac. For my main dish I went with the Chilean sea bass with a side of broccolini and rice. That sea bass was phenomenal! It had a nice sweet glaze on it with a very slit crisp texture on the top. One of the best! The Hideaway goes down as one of my favorite spots in Beverly Hills and I highly recommend checking it out. OOOOO 5 out of 5 Afros

Now, the place is super small with weird seating. I like the dark vibe it has going though. The most frustrating part of it all? Servers came off super pretentious and would intentionally walk by your table without looking to avoid you asking them anything. Moreover, the place doesn't let you make many changes to your order. For example, if you ask for easy rice on the sushi, they will say no. If you ask for them to put the avocado on the side due to an allergy of one member of the group, they will say no. Our items came out SUPER slow, and this was after waiting a while for a table. The sushi is subpar - heavy on the rice and not enough fish. However, the coconut shrimp roll was good. That all being said, I'd go back and deal with it all again for the chicken sandwich and the burger. Both were a bit heavy on the bread in comparison to the protein, but delicious nonetheless.

I emailed the bar to make a reservation since the online system was down, and they emailed back immediately to confirm -- and even said they would surprise my mom with an extra birthday cake! Now all I had to do was wait 3 weeks until her visit so the experience could finally happen. The day arrived and I got my mom to Maybourne Bar with her none the wiser. From the moment we stepped through the door, the experience was a 1 million out of 10. Every course is unbelievable. This is a caviar tasting in the best way -- all nine courses are topped with generous helpings of delicious N25 caviar. You get sweet, salty, savory, comfort food, upscale dining, everything comes together in the absolute best way. I especially loved the deconstructed deviled egg and the lobster roll, and the ice cream was some of the best I've ever had. The chips and dip came with the cutest miniature potato chips (although I'll admit I could have used a few more), and the caviar salmon burger was super flavorful. And, true to their word, they surprised my mom with a birthday cake -- and then surprised us both with complimentary lychee cocktails! The service was impeccable as well. Each person on the waitstaff was kind, helpful, and accommodating. We loved how descriptive they were of each dish. It was also really nice of them to decide to give us an extra 2-top so we would have room for all of the courses. This is not only an incredible tasting menu, but made even more incredible by the price. 10 courses and a glass of champagne are $85. I was honestly shocked at how much we received for under $100. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. This is a true gem in Beverly Hills. I'm already planning my next visit!

On multiple occasions, Elton has given me poor service and a noticeable attitude. I chose to overlook it at first, but eventually I brought it to management's attention because the treatment was consistent and unacceptable. After that complaint, the situation escalated. When I returned, Elton refused to serve me altogether. He would not look at me, acknowledge me, or take my order. I was left sitting there while being completely ignored. It became so obvious that other guests sitting next to me noticed and were concerned enough to step in and ask him why I wasn't being helped and to tell him to serve me. That should never have to happen. I then asked for the manager I had previously spoken to, Leo, because I wanted to understand what was going on. I still have not received any clear explanation. What's most concerning is that this behavior feels intentional. No employee in hospitality gets to decide who they will or will not serve based on personal feelings. If a staff member's feelings are "hurt" after a complaint, that does not justify refusing service to a guest. That is not professionalism--that is the opposite of hospitality. It was honestly disturbing enough that the people next to me told me directly that it didn't feel right and that I shouldn't come back because it seemed like I wasn't wanted there. That is not okay, especially at an establishment of this caliber. I am actively trying to get in touch with someone at the hotel who can properly address this situation, because this needs to be taken seriously. No guest should ever feel ignored, singled out, or unwelcome in this way.

Having experienced the Cheesesteak Lunch solo and incurring my wife's wrath for not bringing her…read morealong, we returned to Matu for our Anniversary Dinner. The Host welcomed us graciously, wished us a Happy Anniversary, and seated us immediately at a cozy table in the corner of the busy dining room. The serving team quickly approached, filling our water glasses and again welcoming us with big smiles. We'd had some cocktails before arriving, so my wife decided to stick with a Diet Coke for dinner, but I ordered a martini that was perfectly poured, icy cold, and topped with very fresh, blue cheese olives--a great start. Interestingly, Matu does not offer a filet mignon à la carte. The only way to order a filet (my wife's favorite cut) is to order the Filet Dinner, which is a 4-course tasting menu. Perhaps they just can't get enough filet at the quality they insist on -- I don't know -- but we decided to order the Filet Dinner and share the intermediary courses, with me ordering a small Ribeye and Creamed Spinach as my entree. The meal begins with a small cup of 24-hour Bone Broth that arrives steaming hot and packed with beefy flavor. The rich broth actually coats your tongue a bit, and the flavor lingers nicely. Next would have been Steak Tartare, but my wife substituted the Japanese Caesar, which was exceptionally tasty, with flavors in the dressing I simply couldn't place, but would happily eat for days. The last of the appetizers was a duo of Beef Croquettas -- also rich and flavorful with a savory sauce that amped up the richness even further. I don't know if I could eat an entire order (the full appetizer comes with 4 croquettas). Finally, on to the steak. My wife's Filet was melt-in-your-mouth tender, with a deep flavor. My own Ribeye was equally tender, with a rich flavor from the marbling. Both steaks were served the house way, which is warm and red in the middle, with a lovely crust from live fire. These folks know how to make a steak, that's for sure. Creamed spinach was much the same as most places... still, very satisfying and a great accompaniment. For dessert, we ordered the Strawberry Panna Cotta, which was served with a celebratory candle for our anniversary. Mildly sweet with a slight tang from the berries, this was a light and refreshing way to cap the meal. I have to say, this was an excellent dinner with fine service in a wonderful atmosphere. Additionally, the prices are quite reasonable for the location and the quality of the food, and our dinner here was $200 LESS than our Valentine's dinner at Cipriani, so I have to say this would be your much better bet for a celebratory night out. Though my wife insists we come back soon for lunch so she can get that amazing cheesesteak... and I'm totally willing to join her LOL!

The food wasn't terrible, but it definitely wasn't worth the price, and the plating was poorly done. Nothing really surprised me except the automatic 18% gratuity.

The ambiance is beautiful, and the service FANTASTIC. Our server was an absolute gem, I am so sad I forgot it. The Roofop is the kind of spot that feels lively but still relaxed enough to enjoy a long dinner with friends. The food was good, though I've definitely had better for the price. Nothing was bad at all, just not quite as memorable as I expected. The drinks, however, were fantastic. I'm not much of a drinker, but I ordered a martini and it was absolutely delicious and perfectly made. Also, the coffee I happened to order a latte and no joke one of the top coffees I had. Lots of nice photo spots. I would love to come during the day and try their brunch. Between the vibe, the attentive service, and the great cocktails, we had a really fun night. I'd come back again, especially for drinks and the atmosphere.
