Azur Beverly Hills just opened a few weeks ago, and I came here for a friend's birthday dinner with eight girls. The decor is beautiful, and the restaurant definitely has a lot of buzz. They had a ribbon cutting with the city, so I was curious to check it out. One thing to know: for parties over six people, you have to choose their three-course set menu. The portions are adjusted for the group, but the required set menu felt a little odd at first. What we ordered: Pissaladière, Salade Niçoise, Poitrine de Poulet, Pavé de Saumon Grillé, Frites, Purée de Pommes de Terre, Crème Brûlée à la Lavande, and Tarte Tropézienne. The best dish of the night was definitely Poitrine de Poulet the battered chicken -- honestly, one of the best battered chickens I've ever had. I would come back just for that. The vibe really turns up after 8:30 PM. By the time we left before 10, people were lining up outside, and the restaurant felt more like a dinner-to-nightlife spot. They had a live DJ and saxophone player, which made the energy fun and lively. So if you're looking for dinner with a nightlife vibe, this is a great choice. If you want a quiet romantic dinner, not here. Service was mostly good for a new open though it definitely was very busy on that Saturday night.

Date night walk around BH for a change of pace and found this little gem ready for 2, bar seating. For those who know, this is the best service experience you can find at almost any restaurant. The food was terrific. We enjoyed 5 apps & sides and a main: the spaghettini. The texture of fresh pasta is distinct and different from dried pasta. The freshness really sings in this dish. We already know the items we will order next, and the ones that earned a repeat performance. Thank you Azur! I'm excited you're here.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and luminous, with a true Mediterranean spirit: nothing overdone, everything just right. The space is elegant but relaxed, the kind of place where you want to linger. The food follows the same philosophy, fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor without ever being heavy. Each dish feels thoughtfully crafted yet unfussy, highlighting quality ingredients and seasonal inspiration. Service is attentive without being intrusive, which makes the whole experience feel natural and easy. Azur isn't just a restaurant, it's a mood, light, joyful, and quietly refined. Perfect for a long lunch that turns into sunset drinks.

Normally…read moreI don't like driving so far to LA but Lumiere is so well designed to make the visit as seamlessly smooth and blissfully enjoyable as possible. Parking is super easy with an abundance of pleasantly polite Hotel and Valet Staff, and the Hotel is filled with lots of adorably charming and cozy Christmas Decorations to take photos before and after the Meal Experience! First I'd like to thank the Lumiere Team for doing such a fantastic job on their Social Media Management! I loved exploring the Instagram Page on Christmas Eve to get an idea of the Special French Design and Cuisine Concept. I appreciate how there are so many gorgeous photos online and detailed Menu Layouts getting us excited at the vast and mouthwatering selection of exquisite Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Cocktails and Entrees. Mom and I have never tried French Cuisine before so the artfully enchanting Website and Instagram Page helped us start happily anticipating an awesomely romantic and unique Adventure ahead! After taking photos inside the hotel Sophie was a wonderful Hostess to welcome us in our first Lumiere Experience! She was a terrific Communicator and laughed with us when I delighted in our luck being seated in a round Chinese Style Table where everyone can face each other and share food the way our Traditional Dining Customs are built. All of the Bussers and Waiters were kind and approachable in helping us start off with refreshing cold water and taking pictures of Mom and I next to their interesting and charming paintings, and Gerardo was SO effective in his Role as our Server for the afternoon! Gerardo gave us lots of helpful recommendations like the French Baguette Appetizer and the Oysters, and encouraged us to the try the Steak Frites and Salmon which are some of his Must Try Favorite Dishes. Gerardo was delightfully present and skilled in entertaining kids and Adults alike, and gave the new Parents of the Family useful imprints in his favorite and most effective Parenting Techniques that left rich and unforgettable high value Conversational imprints to go with Chef Fabian's Elegantly Delicious Entrees! We all loved the French Onion Soup, Japanese Eggplant, Salmon with Sweet Potato, Lobster Chop Salad, and Steak Frites! The Bartender was excellent in serving us refreshing Mimosas, warm and comforting Hot Chocolates, Cappucinos, and a Flat White that Auntie Lorraine really appreciated as thanks to Gerardo's knowledgeable expert recommendations as well. Thank you to the whole Lumiere's Team for making our Christmas exceptionally delicious and relaxing and full of French Funfetti Magic! We really appreciate Gerardo for his terrific Hospitality and making our Chinese Family Members feel so at home and cozy with his Mexican Fuego Amistad, and Chef Fabian for being so warm and humble and letting us take a picture with the Grand Designer of the Masterful Dishes we got to enjoy for lunch. The Bussers and Managers were so kind and attentive in helping prebuss our tables periodically and switching out our Appetizer Plates for new and clean ones as well, and the whole System flowed smoothly with lots of clean and shiny Silverware available for us to enjoy dining French Chinese Style with all of us being able to sample a whole rainbow of healthfully charming dishes!! Thank you Gerardo for making sure we got our validation stamp to get a big discount for valet parking and encouraging us to return to try the Lumiere Signature Cheeseburger with our Burger Fanatic Friends!! We definitely recommend Lumiere for your next Special and important Family Event, the Staff works so wonderfully as at Team and will pamper you with next level Riquisima Bougie Hospitality!!

It took approximately 30 minutes for it to arrive even though the restaurant and bar were not busy. The drink had fine crushed ice in it, which definitely isn't "classic" and it was watered down considerably when it was served. I ordered a classic Manhattan and selected my preferred rye. When it was served, it was frothy. Was it blended? Who would do that? It was also icy as if it had been blended with ice? As with the martini, it was watered down. The food was very good. My guest ordered bouillabaisse and she said it was excellent. I ordered lamb. It was very good. The service was friendly but slow despite the restaurant being nearly empty. The disappointing cocktails and slow service seriously detracted from our experience.

We went on a thursday night and other guests were mostly french (that's how you know it's locally approved)! The decor was modern chic on the outside and the inside decor was different on the inside- hipster cafe with quotes. The food itself was unbelievable! The pricing is on the higher side but worth it given the taste! We had bone marrow which had a nice buttery flavor; the Beef bourguignon was tender and well flavored; and their house special Black cod (available only for one week) was so flavorful and cooked delicately that it melted in our mouths! It was the best fish we ever tasted and we didn't even know fish could taste like that!!! We also recommend the mango passionfruit lemonade. Not too sweet and tasted very fresh. We also thought it was one of the best and freshest lemonade we ever tasted! Word of note though is that the food portion is on the smaller side for Americans (which is actually normal sized for Europeans). Overall fantastic food! My mouth is watering thinking about it! Definitely recommend for special occasions and if you want very food french food!

The sole ripped from the bottom and was hanging by a thread. As the valet went to get me duct tape, a woman from the front desk came out to me and strangely gave me a hard time for waiting for the valet? It was such a bizarre encounter. This same person brought my friend and I to the elevator to be brought up to the rooftop bar, and she was rude and stand off-ish (zero sense of humor around my whole talking shoe incident). That should've been my first sign that the service generally was going to be what missed the mark. When we got to the rooftop bar at the time of our reservation, no one was at the bar or the host stand. The view did not disappoint, so there was that! But the service was terrible; with only 4 tables occupied, it took a while for our order to be taken, and the food and cocktails were fine. I had the spicy tacos (fine), my friend the poke bowl (standard) and the beverages, watered down. We had the chocolate mousse dessert and it's the first dessert in my lifetime I couldn't finish - it was inedible. As we were wrapping out, it was very confusing when the waiter asked us to start a tab (we were about to leave) and then my friend had to ask to be closed out. TL;DR if you are a patient person who prefers views over service and settles for fine, overpriced food, then go to Poza for a sunset drink. Otherwise, I think there are better places in the neighborhood to enjoy a similar experience

The staff is well-dressed, well-trained, and genuinely friendly; the host on duty, Bella, tended to us during our short wait, keeping us engaged and getting us seated just as soon as she could. The decor blends spartan industrial chic with dark wood accents that tempter what might be a cold environment, making it inviting and comfortable. Our server, Diego, got right to us, answered menu questions with good humor, and convinced the chef to make my wife a dinner-time dish when he discovered her first selection had run out. Bread service (on request) was artisan sourdough, hot from the oven, served with rich butter and a tiny mound of salt. Simple and very tasty. My wife's Cacio e Pepe was, by her estimation, the very best she's ever had. The al dente pasta was coated in a sharp Parmesan that was keenly offset by the sweetness of a Tomato Jam served on the side. A very well-balanced and satisfying bite. For my own part, the Quiche Lorraine was buttery and rich, and brimming with bacon and cheese. The lightly dressed salad alongside was a perfect foil, cutting the sharpness nicely. I must also mention that the folks next to us had a table full of yummy-looking, yummy-smelling food, from a cheese and charcuterie board to pizza, an omelet and beautifully prepared veggies. It would be easy to order everything on the menu across multiple visits -- and I'm already looking forward to my next time in.

Nothing to revert about. But wow, that mimosa was filled to the rim! I got the speciality weekend brunch spritz. I don't remember what it was call but it was strong and refreshing. Yes. The spritz was strong or my tolerance has gone way down. First course: I was pleasantly surprised by how big the Avacado toast was. It had a jam at the bottom that brought the whole dish together. Like my HH review, some micro greens would have taken my heard back. I just love microgreens! Deviled eggs and croquetts I've tried before. They were both pretty good. Croquetts can't do wrong. Mains: I got the crab Benedict and it was awesome! I filled up on my avocado toast so I took half of it home. There was plenty of crab and the poached egg was running and bright orange. That's some healthy eggs! Fresh toast looked amazing as well, same with the burger. I know the burger was also popular at happy hour for the price but I was told it was very good. I'll have to go next time just for that. Parking: Just park by the paid lot by trader Joe's or off Cardiff. Easier than trying to find parking on that street. The paid lot is $1 free and $1 additional hours. The patio was super charming with all the natural lights and shaded by the trees. The service was decent as well. Will took good care of us.

The escargot was also very flavorful, especially if you enjoy garlic. The bread it comes with is a great touch since you can dip it into the sauce or pour the garlic butter over it. For entrées, we ordered the Atlantic salmon and the rack of lamb. The salmon tasted very fresh, but unfortunately lacked flavor. The rack of lamb -- which is considered their signature dish -- was tender, juicy, and worth trying at least once, but honestly the appetizers stood out more than the entrées for me. We also got two cocktails: the Pomegranate Margarita and the Casanova. Both were good and definitely on the sweeter side, so I'd recommend them if you enjoy sweeter drinks. Overall, I would come back mainly for the appetizers and cocktails.

It's been a hot minute since I've had such a disparity between excellent food and poor service, but…read morehere I am. Zinqué was a real mixed bag. I'll start with the good. The hostess was super- nice and promptly seated me. My main entree was actually quite spectacular. I had Le bowl and it was a five star dish. I could eat it every day. I chose the option with the frittata and it was the best frittata I've ever had. The forbidden rice with the spicy mayo and the cheese harmonized very well with the arugula. Yes. This is an excellent dish- definitely try this if you want something on the lighter side. The atmosphere is also very nice. It's a chic restaurant and has a sophisticated atmosphere. Now the bad- after I was seated by the hostess the waiter took my order. It was the driest exchange and I really felt like something was up, like maybe he was checked out. Well, after my food was brought out, I was in the middle of eating and I saw my waiter leave for the day. He was wearing a jacket, hat and carrying a backpack. He totally bailed on me with no handoff. I waited a while. No one checked on me. I kept looking at waiters assisting other tables, no one noticed me. I was totally abandoned. Annoyed; I saw a QR Code on the table and it was a portal to order more items. My tab wasn't even searchable. I finally got up and went to the bar to let the bartender know that I had not been checked up on, and that I had seen my waiter leave the building like 20 minutes ago. He apologized and said that he got cut because it was slow, and another waiter heard this and met me at the table so he could take my dessert order. But the damage was done. The berry crumble was okay, but I was already pretty turned off by this place. I was so disappointed how such a promising meal took a complete nosedive. The lack of a handoff is what really irritated me. The waiter totally left and it's like I couldn't believe he was just walking out the door without telling anyone. If it was so slow, how did I fall through the cracks? I had tables on both sides of me that got waited on and it's like I was a ghost. Zinqué had great food (well, Le bowl at least), a kind hostess but the actual experience was bad. I can only think of one other time in my life where I was totally forgotten about like this. Very memorable, but in a bad way.
