Such a beautiful layout. I wish to just dine here all day well sipping on my cocktails. Our waitress was great. Food was delicious! I like how they can make pretty much any drink. That's a huge plus!! Highly recommend

The Polo Lounge has been on my wish list for a while and I'm so glad I finally experienced it! Driving up Valet will greet you and give you a ticket. The restaurant will validate and parking cost is $15. We sat inside and were able to enjoy the piano music being played. There are old black and white photos of all the history on the walls and throughout hotel as well. We ordered the tuna tartar , crab cake, ceaser with salmon and the chocolate soufflé. Everything was delicious and I very much enjoyed the bread basket! The service was amazing and it was one of the best dinning experiences I've ever had. Alex our server was attentive and friendly.Highly recommend treating yourself to the experience at The Polo Lounge.

Came for a quick lunch, valet parking the hotel is great , service is wonderful. We sat inside by a window , enjoyed the food , love the whole vibe here. Great place for brunch with friends or a celebration.

Wowwwww this place lived up to all my expectations for my first trip Cali. The hotel is a MUST do! It's gorgeous and the history can be sensed. We went for breakfast and sat outside what a beautiful place. I witnessed business meetings , a cool rockets couple and best dressed people. The food was yummy and plentiful. Do not Miss this spot ! Waiter was THE BESTTTT

The Polo Lounge is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Los Angeles. The Polo Lounge is one of Los Angeles' and, more specifically, Beverly Hills' most iconic restaurants. I have been a regular here for over a decade, and it remains a personal favorite for its unparalleled history, ambiance, and service. Situated inside the legendary Beverly Hills Hotel, famously known as the Pink Palace, the Polo Lounge is steeped in Hollywood lore. Marilyn Monroe was a frequent guest, embodying the glamour of old Hollywood. The restaurant is considered expensive relative to standard fare, yet the exquisite service, refined atmosphere, and overall experience justify every dollar. Many people will think the prices are so outrageous, but you are paying for more than just the food. Over the years, I have seen Madonna, Cameron Diaz, Jimmy Fallon, Terrence Howard and many famous and influential people dine here. Fallon and Howard have even greeted me personally on multiple occasions, remembering our previous encounters. The Manager Pepe De Anda, who has been with the Polo Lounge for decade's oversees operations with meticulous attention. He consistently accommodates my reservations, even when the restaurant is fully booked, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience. The menu is exceptional, with every item carefully crafted. Signature cocktails, the McCarthy Salad, and the chocolate soufflé are standout offerings. The soufflé, in particular, is extraordinary without exaggeration, it's probably the best dessert in all of Los Angeles. . Parking is valet-only, and reservations can be secured by phone or online. Due to the restaurant's popularity, advance booking is essential. I would say you need to book at least 2 weeks and maybe even 4 weeks in advance depending on what time and date. Weekends being busier. A unique aspect of the Polo Lounge is its diverse clientele: at any given time, you might see a billionaire, an A-list Hollywood celebrity, and an everyday diner sharing the same space. This rare combination of accessibility and exclusivity is unmatched, and there is truly no other restaurant like it anywhere.

Slow service and small servings. Food was yummy but left hungry. Not ok when you spend almost 1k for four people and only one round of drinks and shots.

I visited the lounge after my graduation as it is located 2-3 mins away from my house and this was my experience and observations. As usual the hotel always treats me as if I was at a 4 seasons Hotel. On arrival your ride-share would drop you off in front of the entrance at the red carpet and if you drive, valet will take your car, which can be validated at the end and the total cost will be $22 after validation. Dress code: Anything chic, no hats permitted with the exception of the ladies. I was told years ago no shorts or sneakers but trust me I've seen plenty of men in short shorts and sneakers. No ripped jeans, no open toes shoes for men. You see where i'm going, more restrictions for men. Just go there and tell them you're a lady so they let you in jjk Seating: You have the option to sit at the bar, which can accommodate maybe a dozen people. Or indoor and/or outside on the patio. Ambiance & Decor: It's a very chilled vibe, with old Hollywood charms. It's not your typical modern lounge. Instead it screams old luxurious money. Kinda reminds me of Erica Jaynes old house in Pasadena. Old with lots of characters if that makes sense. There's also live piano until 3PM inside. Outside on the patio, you have a lush or greenery, giving you South of France or Spain vibes. There's a friendly Hamster name Beverly that always comes by. Keep it mind Beverly likes breads & nuts. She doesn't like seafood or shellfish almost like she is allergic to them. Don't waste your shrimp or meat creating more work for staff to clean. Services: This is where this restaurant shines. While The Fountain Coffee Room located next door is being renovated I thought services would've been slow. Since there's only one choice. I was proven wrong. Before we can sit at the bar while waiting for our table, we were told that our patio table was ready. Foods and drinks came out quicker than we expected. Staff are very friendly. Shout out to Michelle and everyone else. Foods: Although I prefer my food to be more seasoned. You can tell the burger has quality meat and big enough to share unless you wanna take the rest to go in their signature pink box. For everything else there's nothing a little bit of salt & pepper can't fix. Drinks are on another lever. I'm not sure where they found those bartenders, but one thing for sure for someone who doesn't really drink, I enjoy their cocktails. Things to keep in mind: 1) Some areas maybe restricted due to wedding or other events photoshoots. 2) You might see flies around this is normal for us, 3) It's worth waiting at the bar for a seat on the patio. 4) Portions are rather huge so order accordingly. 5) ask staff to validate your parking as your server may not tell you that you can get it validated. 6) take lots of pictures 7) be respectful and tips your servers and the valet. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have and I would 100% recommend this restaurant.

I've finally grown up, and am ready for the Polo Lounge! Who am I kidding, I finally saved enough to walk past The Cabana Cafe and The Fountain Room (which are fantastic in their own right) to make my way over to the restaurant on the same floor as the entrance to The Beverly Hills Hotel. I've been looking forward to this for years. Reservations for lunch are tough to get; online you'll see availability during the day, but when I went to check back in the evening, there was nothing between 10:30a and 5p. Figure I would chance it by being a walk-in. Greeted pleasantly at the hostess stand, I took a seat at the small bar where there were already a few people eating lunch. The dining room was a little less than half full around 12:15p. Service started off slowly but was very pleasant with 'Baldimir'. I went with a blueberry peach fizz (non-alcoholic, $18) and the McCarthy salad minus beets and eggs. The bread basket was really good; one can almost become full off of this alone but it was a nice accompaniment to the rest of the lunch. The salad looks so perfect upon presentation, and they offer to mix it for you which I permitted. Although I'm glad I finally had my chance to try this classic dish, I do mentally kick myself for paying $46 for a salad. I clearly know where I am so the price is expected, but I had the opportunity, and I figured I might as well do it now before it gets to $50+. I admit I saw some other options on the menu I'd like to try but for now, I'm happy I finally had my chance to come to the famed Polo Lounge to try their popular McCarthy salad.

Had lunch with my nieces two weeks ago to celebrate a birthday. It was my first time here after wanting to come here for many years. The hotel is historic with a lot of original designs. The Polo Lounge has the old Hollywood charm. It feels like you stepped back in time. The patio seating is tight, a bit too crowded for me but we still enjoyed our time here sipping on our coffee and enjoying our food. The food was delicious. I loved their club sandwich, it was like no other. The salad we ordered and shared was refreshing and good. The bread basket they bring was lovely. The beef bolognese was rich and a bit heavy for lunch so I would say it's more of a dinner dish. The coffee was good and the chocolate soufflé was amazing. The prices are on the higher side but don't forget you are in Beverly Hills at the Beverly Hills Hotel. It's worth the experience. We had a wonderful time. Enjoyed every moment of our lunch. And yes customer service was friendly and attentive.

Actually the most beautiful restaurant with the most beautiful ambiance ever!! Everything was so gorgeous the further you went through the hotel the prettier everything got! I started with the crab avocado toast which was really good, honestly everything was great such an amazing place for a brunch. My burger was really good but it was pretty filling especially with the appetizer and dessert. I got the key lime pie which was really limey but the banana cream was delicious and they gave us a cute bday cake too which was pretty good! And our waitress was amazing she had blue eyes and she was sooo kind let us take our time like she was amazing so great service!

We had a great brunch, I love how the place has that timeless charm, beautiful setting, great people watching, and super chill but still elegant. We orders the Linguini Vongole, Fish & Chips, and Soufflé to share. Everything was on point. The linguini was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The Fish & Chips were light and crispy, not greasy at all, and fries were addicting. And the soufflé- wow! So fluffy and warm, the perfect sweet finish. Service was friendly and attentive without being over by top. It's the kind of place you can hang out for a couple of hours, sip something bubbly, and just enjoy the vibe. Definitely a must if you want a classy brunch.

Checked it out for dinner with a friend who was in town. Had a very kind and knowledgeable server who was able to perfectly plan our courses. Here's what we tried tonight: 1. Peaches and Gorgonzola salad: superb salad. Peaches were fresh and sweet. Combined with arugula , Gorgonzola blue, caramalized pecans, and perfectly dressed with vinaigrette. Yummy. Must order 2. Rigatoni Bolognese: braised beef Ragu with chive. Was ok. Have had better. Wish they would have used the big thick rigatoni instead. 3. Spaghetti with olive oil and citrus base. Assortment of fresh asparagus, cherry tomatoes, olives and zucchini. Spectacular. This was not on the menu but was specially requested by our server and it was splendid. 4. Had my usual ole fashion. My friend had a specialty cocktail but can't remember the name at the moment. 5. Chocolate soufflé: of course had to try the signature soufflé. And of course it was delicious. Make sure you order a little ahead of time as it take 20 minutes to make.

The Polo Lounge at the The Beverly Hills Hotel truly feels like an event the moment you step inside. I was lucky enough to attend tea time for a pre birthday celebration, and the whole experience felt special from start to finish. It is definitely pricey, but that is part of the deal here, and the attentive service and classic ambience do a good job of justifying the cost. Everything felt polished and intentional, like you are participating in a long standing tradition rather than just having a meal. This is not an everyday tea spot for me, but it is absolutely perfect for a very special occasion when you want to feel a little extra fancy.

Of course! On a Friday or Saturday night it may be hard to find a table but definitely doable.

How much is it for Sunday brunch? Thanks

$85 per person including one cocktail of choice. The brunch starts at 10:30am (call them to confirm) so if you go earlier, you can order off of the standard menu.

Can you come just for drinks during the daytime?

    Yes you can after noon

You don't have to be a guest but note that it's usually quite busy so try making a reservation first. Otherwise, you can walk in. If the Polo Lounge is busy try the poolside restaurant for bfast or lunch or the Fountain Room coffee shop downstairs.

Consisting of two sunroom-style dining areas separated by an open patio, the space is definitely an LA-chic brunch kind of place. It' wasn't our usual scene, but we decided to go with the upscale vibe even if it felt a bit pricey. The menu highlighted their artisan coffees, so Jamie ordered the $5.95 Iced Latte with a $1 Mexican Mocha chaser. I went for the $7 Iced Lavender Breeze Latte, a combination of an espresso blend, lavender, and coconut (Photo 6). They were both fanciful, flavorful, and very LA-style drinks. I'd go again if I was invited but you won't find me dishing out to become a member here. Show me something more than views of LA in a "nice setting." Give me something standout for the $4k!

Our waiter, Victor, was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. The food was excellent--our favorites were the skirt steak and the salmon. The mac and cheese was truly to die for. We also finished the meal with amazing desserts, including the lemon dessert and a caramel dessert, both of which were outstanding. To top it all off, the coffees were great at the end of dinner. We'll definitely be back!

We came for dinner but they were able to accommodate us with sandwiches from the lunch menu. We had a vegan in our group and our server made recommendations for sandwich options. The menu has a wide variety of choices including plant based, gluten free and vegan options. So many of the choices sounded good. I didn't want anything too heavy so I narrowed down to the little gem Caesar salad and added grilled chicken. What set it apart was the nested little gem leaves dusted with finely shaved Parmesan. I tasted the farmhouse beets that one person ordered and the blend of arugula and beets with candied pecans and feta was the perfect balance of flavor and texture. The one member of our group that didn't care for her meal ordered the Thai ginger salad and they didn't charge for it when she mentioned it was spicer than she expected. The space has a great vibe. There's outdoor seating but the interior has a lot of window space and the space feels very open. There's also ample bar seating. And they can accommodate groups. The server charged us all individually for what we ordered which was very accommodating and really appreciated. It was a great dining experience overall.

Nick, the manager, was SUPER cool, and our server, Ariana (I hope I got her name right!), was an absolute doll and the definition of professionalism. I decided to try something different from the menu this time, and let me tell you, by the time I said, "Take a picture..." my food was gone! That's how good it was. My mother and I both had the Turkey Reuben -- hers with fries and mine with the apple kale salad. My mom even mentioned to Nick that the sweet potato fries should definitely be added to the menu! My dad ordered breakfast and wanted sausage... no sausage... BACON ONLY! Work on that, The Henry! Thanks to Larissa, we decided to give The Henry another try, and I'm so glad we did. The service, the atmosphere (the music and sunshine were perfect), and the food were all ooooooon point! Sometimes you've got to give people the opportunity to make amends by showing a little grace, and I'm happy we did. This visit completely changed our perspective. We'll definitely be back... promise!

Went there for an event. Perfect place to meet people for a nice chat…read more It's upscale, but not stuffy or trendy feeling. We sat outside. Nick, our server, provided outstanding service. The main entrance is off the courtyard, not right off the street, although if you only want the bar, then there's an entrance off the street that does not lead to the restaurant. Saved you a few steps. It was a very enjoyable experience. Again, it's upscale casual, and the prices reflect it, but they aren't out of control. The signature cocktails were $19. The food was fine, portions on the smaller side, but OK. For an appetizer, we had pretzels and fondue. $18. You get plenty of them, and they were really good! Perfect for sharing. For the main course, I had the seared tuna chopped salad. $27. The dressing was perfectly light. It was a good salad. Again, the portions are not large, but the quality was good. One of my friends had the steak Diane, $61. She gave it 4 out of 5. It was perfectly cooked. She also had a scoop of ice cream. $5. Not bad for that kinda' place. They have a great payment system I've never seen. There's a QR code on the bill, and you can pay for your part of the meal, or pay for whatever you want to. It's really easy and takes the hassle out of splitting the bill, and makes it easier for the server not to have to do separate checks. Great idea! Very enjoyable experience all around.

Innards were dry and the ends of the tortilla were stale. Plus the guac was flavorless and...frozen? In LA, I believe screwing up the simplest of guac recipes is sacrilege. Is anyone hyping this place? The staff weren't interested, and the food is terrible. Really, though, I couldn't care less about the staff. I've said it before and I'll say it again: the cashier could punch me in the face, but as long as the food's primo, I'm fine. Oi. LA has some of the BEST food in the nation! Some are even claiming, "Better than NYC." Michelin stars and Bib Gourmand recs cascade through our city, so why waste your time (and money!) on anything less than spectacular.
