The staff at this beautiful location is so wonderful from the hostess named Tina to our waitress Vladia to Giuseppe who is from Tuscany. The food is authentic Italian and I'm ordering a heart of palm salad with shrimp. They are very attentive and cater to people with special needs mine, I could've eaten anywhere, but I chose Toscanova because they were so sweet when I came to look at the menu

Came on a Sunday night around dinner time as a walk in. There were plenty of tables available and we were seated right away. The wait staff were very attentive right as we sat down and watched the floor to make sure every customer had exactly what they needed. Grilled Salmon - Cooked to perfection! Had a crisp seasoned top. Cooked perfectly with the inside maintaining its moisture. Came with a side of green beans and asparagus. I wish the veggies were seasoned. They came steamed. Tricolor Salad - Generous portion and can be shared among two people as an app. Seasoned well. A little strange that they shaved four big slices of parmesan and just left it on top. For presentation's sake, it would look better as smaller shaves or if they cut it up and sprinkled it on top but the taste was great! Bread - They handed out free warm bread baskets. Super delicious! They also had oil and balsamic vinegar on the table for you. Pear Fusion Cocktail - Didn't taste sweet at all which I was very happy with. Could barely taste the alcohol. My type of drink! The staff were all so attentive from the minute we walked into the restaurant! Our food did take a little time to come out but it was well worth the wait. Loved how much variety was on the menu and all of the categories were easily displayed. They had a ton of extra paper menus tho. Maybe they could've scaled back on those. Definitely a great place to stop and eat at if you're looking for a sit down restaurant at Century City.

Fun lunch with my bestie who comes here often with her mom. I'm not sure why it was my first time, but I've been missing out. We shared a half dozen order of the oysters, a salad, a pasta and a pizza. They were kind enough to serve the pasta already portioned separately. Everything was delightful. We both ended up having a little bit of leftovers which we both took to go and finished at home.

I'm a big italian food fan so I definitely was expecting more but the food was pretty average (both the pizza me and my friend ordered). Staff was nice and welcoming and attentive although I really do not get the hype about this place.

The food was amazing, the sauce was really rich and tasty! The pricing is pretty reasonable and the service was amazing! This restaurant never disappoints. Have been here many times!

I have been wanting to try this place out for a while now and finally earlier today I met my cousins for lunch. First of all let's start from the hostess. I asked her for a table outside she said she can't sit us outside cause we asked for a high chair for my niece. I said ok and she sat us all the way in the back right by the kitchen where all you can hear is pits & pans and employees shouting while working. Anyways I regret not leaving or asked her to be moved... Our waiter was friendly, pleasant and attentive. The bread they served was fresh and warm and we enjoyed it with olive oil and vinegar. We ordered the panzanella salad and the artichoke salad and both tasted ok, nothing spectacular. Our main dishes were more disappointing. Very average tasting food with high prices. My gnocchi was like a frozen meal reheated, that's how it felt. I don't want to list every dish one by one but overall food was average tasting. Not horrible but not good either. The tamarind cocktail I had was not what I expected, nothing like the ones I've had in other restaurants. This restaurant is so nice and has a great location that is inviting but I'm not sure if I'll ever come back. For the four of us we paid $260 for lunch (plus tip) (includes 2 drinks) ..

Influenced by the reviews, I chose the wild boar ragù and was pleasantly surprised. The flavors were deep and hearty, evoking the comfort of a classic pot roast. Paired with pasta, a robust red sauce, and a generous topping of Parmesan, it was an excellent and satisfying dish.

Unfortunately, I think the vibe is completely off with this type of food, and I think it's hurting their customer base (I.e, there's a sports watching day, and live DJ?, but the food is definitely more for upscale vibes). I also didn't know they have a rotating menu with different chefs, so when I came in craving for something like steak frites and find out the don't have it even though their sample menu lists it on their website, it kind of throws my mood a little. Moreover, their wine list is not extensive considering it's a wine bar, and wine mentioned in their name :) Anyways I've digressed. With this special menu, I ordered the scallop tostada and maitake taco. The scallops were very fresh, and it was a very well balanced dish. I would totally order this again! The maitake mushroom was exploding with flavors, though I find the sauce a little too salty for my taste. If I came here just for food, I'd come back and try new things!

Can't believe how fast they were and what great care they put into the food. I'm not a coffee snob or expert in any way, but this is the best iced latte I've ever had! Great presentation, too! We…read morehave always loved the food and the staff, which makes today's experience especially disappointing. Perhaps the management has changed, or perhaps the staff no longer understands what hospitality truly means. Either way, what took place today was highly unprofessional. In the hospitality industry, a poor hostess and an unprofessional manager cause a restaurant to lose loyal customers, one by one. There were four of us, including my 80 year old father. The DJ was playing loudly, so we politely asked the hostess if we could be seated in the corner, away from the music. She firmly replied that it was absolutely not possible because those two tables needed to remain available for upcoming reservations of two people. We politely asked if she could check with the manager. She went to speak with him, returned, and again told us no. While we were still waiting, another party of four arrived and was seated at those exact tables after they were pushed together. I approached the manager and asked why this had happened. He explained that the other guests had been seated elsewhere first, but because the music was too loud for them, they were moved. I asked why an exception was made for them while our identical request had been denied. His response was, "I have never seen you here." That answer was both irrelevant and unprofessional. Whether someone is a first time guest or a loyal customer, everyone deserves to be treated with the same level of respect and fairness especially with elderly person present. The entire situation was handled poorly by both the hostess and the manager. After years of enjoying this restaurant, it is incredibly disappointing to leave feeling dismissed and unwelcome. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

I happened to be making an early morning delivery down the street at Allo and had always been curious about Wally's $39 lunch prix fixe menu. Honestly, it sounded almost too good to be true. I walked in right when they opened at 11:32 a.m. and grabbed a seat at the bar. My bartender and server, Shaline A., absolutely made my day. She was warm, welcoming, attentive, and provided genuine hospitality from start to finish. I started with the Caesar salad (with anchovies). Personally, I think a traditional Caesar should always have anchovies they're part of what makes it so special. For my entrée, I had the dorade fish], and it was beautifully prepared. Every bite reflected the quality and attention to detail that Wally's is known for. To finish, I enjoyed the cheese plate featuring a truffle cheese that day. Let me tell you... A+! It was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. From the service to the food and the overall experience, Wally's exceeded my expectations. Location 4 stars: On the 3rd Street East of Robertson, in the Beverly Grove area of Los Angeles. We opted for the convenience of Valet Parking (for a fee). There is some street parking, but it is a busy area so I would assume it would not be very straightforward. Venue 4 stars: Cute restaurant with a full bar, indoor seating and a rustic patio area. Service 3.75 stars: Server-dependent... We had servers switched on us mid-steam. The first one was super friendly and attentive and helpful, but the one who took over was just OK. The manager was wonderful and circled around making sure that everything was going well. Drinks 4 stars: AOC is mainly a wine bar. They have as huge list of wines but also some tasty specialty cocktails and a full bar. We had the Kingbird, the Mezcal Royale, Flor De Jamaica and a Grey Goose Martini. All were well-made and delicious. Prices were OK but a little on the higher side. Food 3.75 stars: AOC is known for its farm-to-table small plates, and we did try some of their famous ones, but were not as satisfied as we had anticipated. First off, the portions, especially for the prices, are tiny... We had the Bacon Wrapped Dates (good but super small portion), Haricot Verts salad (just ok), the Shrimp (good), the Clams (good), the Grilled Seabass (good), the fries (great) and their famous Spanish Fried Chicken (too greasy for our taste). They do have a nice menu of desserts, but we did not try any this time around. Billing 2 stars: They add 7% to every check to provide health insurance for the employees. While I fully appreciate and applaud the cause and also the fact that they disclosed this at the bottom of the menu (which not everyone looks at) and also noted that the customer could ask for it to be removed (but c'mon, in reality, WHO in their right mind would feel right asking???), why not simply add this to their prices?
