Veggie burger with gluten-free bun and broccolini
Erica K.

This is my all time favorite veggie burger to date- they even have gluten free buns! The been patty is so full of flavor that I prefer it over the standard burger. The fried onions, jalepeno, and garlic aioli just make every bite magic. The broccolini and lemon cream sauce was ok, but probably would not order again. Verdict: Yummy!!! I will definitely return. Parking garage is validated and there is plenty of seating inside and on the patio.

Stumbled into here for lunch. My chicken bowl was amazing! Reasonable price and I like everything that it came with. People are nice and lots of seats to dine in.

Short rib grilled cheese

I've only had the short rib grilled cheese here. I love short rib sandwiches and it's not that common of a sandwich at most restaurants. What a treat! Their soda machine is also super fun. You can pick and create your own soda.

Southwest Chicken Sandwich

came to the stand with my girlfriend, i got the southwest chicken sandwich (incredible) and she got the buffalo chicken sandwich. it was a bit too spicy for her liking so she asked Chuy if we could swap it for the southwest chicken sandwich and he handled the swap easily for us. really nice guy and they make the food fresh. they had the dodger game on and were turning over tables and getting orders out w the quickness. thank you Chuy! we're coming back for sure.

Stand Slaw and Crispy Chicken Bites

I normally ordered lunch catering from The Stand for work. This time I was able to visit the restaurant in person the other day for lunch. I ordered Crispy Chicken Bites with Sweet Chili Aioli sauce, fountain soda and Stand Slaw. It took a while to get my food order. My co-worker ordered after me and received her food way before I did. I noticed when I ordered online there is a PDF booklet and I can check out the ingredients. At the store, I didn't see descriptions or ingredients. Just something I noticed. I had to ask the employee to check for me since I can't eat specific items. I'd love to try Thai Iced Tea Milkshake next time.

Last time I came here, they overcooked my burger. The owners of this place really care about giving the best service and experience. They reached out to me and told me to come back. They wanted to make sure I had a great experience. So I came back, and everything was perfect this time. The burger was perfect, medium-rare. The fries were good, and I also enjoyed their specialty drinks, the lemonade and agua fresca. My dad enjoyed his burger. I think this place will be our new go-to whenever we want a nice hamburger. All the ingredients were fresh, and I really enjoyed the homemade ketchup.

First time here! Soo good! Great place to come before the Pasadena Playhouse! Try the Salads! Yum!

Seared Ahi Tuna on Parmesan Crusted Sourdough

I just ate inside The Stand for the first time today. I had ordered delivery a few times and it was always good. But my experience today was just exceptional. I ordered the Ahi Tuna sandwich and Sweet Potato fries. The sandwich was truly one of the tastiest sandwiches I've ever had in my life. I got it on the parmesan crusted sourdough bread and omg *chef's kiss*. The service was also great. Chuy was so warm and helpful and made sure my friend and I had everything we needed. I cannot wait to go back and take more friends!

I've been wanting to eat at The Stand for the longest time. LA is oversaturated with smash burger places, and I was dying to go to a burger place with a nice juicy burger patty that wasn't smashed to the point of dryness. Finally, my wife was craving American food one day, so we made time to come to The Stand to give it a try. Granted, it is a chain, but it's quite good. It has the vibe of a sports bar, but ordering is done at the counter. The staff answered all our questions and helped us quite quickly. They advised us to get the app to help accumulate points, which I did. My wife and I shared and side of fries, but we each got our own burgers. I got a build-your-own burger with beef cooked to medium, a fried egg, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, and sweet chili aioli. The burgers took a good 15 minutes to make but they were worth the wait. The burger was super juicy, which was a texture I had missed from eating so many smash burgers. The burger also had a bit of smokiness to it. The sweet chili aioli was basically a spicy mayo but went perfectly with burger and egg. Amazing restaurant, I would definitely come back.

Jerk chicken bowl

Just had The Stand for the second time and wow! The hits I've had their bowls and they are healthy and flavorful! Calories added too. The service is greet too, shout out to Christina for her hospitality and knowledge of everything. She super kind! And would come back just for her. And the over store is great and place if come to chill and eat food. Would highly recommend!

Great spot for lunch and dinner... There is always something for everyone including Vegetarian and Vegan. The service was quick and friendly. Ambiance is nice and clean. Ordered Cola Drink Chinese Chicken Chop Salad It comes with sliced grilled chicken breast, crispy wontons, crispy noodles, mandarins, sesame seeds, house made chop salad mix (romaine, iceberg, red cabbage, scallions, carrots) and red ginger dressing. it is simple and delicious.

ABC burger

There's street parking or paid lots around here. This location has a good amount of seating for both indoor and outdoor. It's a very chill and relaxing vibe that's great for casual hangout. The staff are nice and really helpful. They have a good selection of menu items and some fun shake flavors. They do ask how you want your burger cooked. You'll get a number and they'll drop off the food at your table. The food arrived pretty quick especially when there were a good number of people ahead of me. The ABC burger was good and juicy. I gotbit medium rare. The bacon was nice and crispy. I ate the whole thing easily. I also gotbthe cookie butter shake. It was good. Not too sweet and good texture from the crunch. I would recommend trying this place out!

Cannonball Restaurant | South Pasadena…read more Some dining experiences are about more than just the food they're about the setting, the atmosphere, and the company you keep. Cannonball was a lovely experience from start to finish! The beautiful setting and inviting ambiance made it the perfect place to enjoy a meal with someone special... someone I'm finding myself absolutely adoring. Sometimes, the right company makes an already wonderful evening feel that much more magical. A special shout-out to Alejandro, our waiter, who was knowledgeable, attentive, and added to the overall experience. Great service always makes a difference! And those biscuits? Absolutely top-notch! The kind of standout bite that deserves its own moment of appreciation. And the magic didn't stop at the restaurant! There's something pretty special about letting a woman you're adoring take the wheel of your stick-shift Porsche. A little trust, a little adventure, and a lot of smiles. just another reason the company made the entire experience unforgettable. Great food, lovely ambiance, and extraordinary company. Our server was super friendly and attentive the whole night, gave us great advice on how much food to order, and checked in just enough. We had a couple of solid cocktails and kicked things off with the shaved celery salad and yellowfin tuna tartare. Both of those appetizers were 10/10. The mains (the trout and the chicken) were a little bit of a letdown by comparison, just feeling kind of average, but they were still fine. Just nothing to rave about. The spot has a really nice old-school vibe that felt right for a birthday dinner. Parking is a bit of a headache around there, but keep in mind there's a public parking garage right around the corner that's free on weekends and after noon on weekdays.

I would knock down a point because although there is a good amount of seating inside and outside, it is packed in pretty tight. There's been a few times where I can hear the convos of other tables more than the person I'm with. Seating outside is also on a busy road both by cars and people passing by. I would say the vanilla iced latte is pretty mediocre. Not bad, but we usually go with water now.

We arrive at 6:30 it's already packed so we put the party down for a wait time and proceed to wait. Issue at hand: we were told by the host stand it would be about 30-40 min wait for seating for the size of our party.....so tell me why we didn't get sat until 2 hours later at 8:30? I'll tell you why the manager (male wearing a pink shirt) has no experience as a manager clearly Before this sounds like a hate rant I myself work at a pretty face paced well known restaurant, I understand good days and bad days for restaurants but this manager at GRANVILLE clearly has no control or authority over how the turnover of the restaurant looks. Not only myself but several members of the party went up multiple times to ask why the table they were trying to seat us at wasn't being prompted to leave. That same table was dining when my family arrived at 6:30 and most likely finished eating at some point WAY before us getting seated. I physically watched this specific manager who oversees the entire establishment walk upstairs, stare at the party who is just chatting at this point and chose to walk away and do nothing, it took an entirely different set of employees to take initiative and get our table ready by letting the sitting party know there were other customers trying to use the table. If I have to make my point crystal clear, If as a manager, yet alone overseeing business manager, can't have the right speaking skills to plainly let a party know that their time is up what's the point of them running the operation. It just proved to me that money for one party was worth them rotating and seating more customers for them to make more profit. I'll end it with the food being fairly decent and flavorful, but with the gentrified prices they're charging I would hope that at the least. My personal opinion I'm not going to be telling my friends or encouraging anyone to stop here unless they can get the right business mindset together
