I've been to bars/restaurants all across the states everywhere, and I've never seen something like this so it's a catchy unique spot for me. I love the vibe it has but most importantly, I love love, the international rum list and my country made it on their menu ! Which is very very surprising for me as not too many people know of Guyana.

Shades on for the fireworks!

What a cute little gem this place is! Conveniently located next to Wine Down, and within view of Parkview Field, this place is the perfect mix of cool and casual. With its tiki-bar theme, and its bevy of strong cocktails, this place is the ideal destination for a fun evening on the town. The first time I went, I was with my mom and we stopped in before our dinner at Wine Down. We both enjoyed the beautiful evening out on the patio. I ordered the Frose and she got the Tradewinds. The tradewinds is certainly the stronger of the 2! The most recent time I went, my coworkers and myself swung through after a Tin Caps game. We ordered a nightcap, and watched the fireworks explode over Parkview Field. I've had marvelous experiences the past few times I've gone to Sidecar, and I'm looking forward to more memories here!

Jerk chicken skewers, steak salad, French fries, Paloma drinks

We had such a pleasant experience here! Our waiter, who was great, recommended the Paloma drink which was so delicious. The fries were easily some of the best fries I've had and my portion of jerk chicken was perfect for me. We will be coming back! Great service, great food, great environment.

Perfect place to grab drinks before or after dinner. Very limited on beers and liquor, tell bartender what you like and they will hook you up with something similar.

What a lovely outdoor vibe! Had some time to kill one evening on my recent business trip to Fort Wayne. While walking in the area and trying to decide what for dinner I came across this cute little outdoor bar/cafe with wonderful kitschy tunes playing outside and beautiful decorated patio! I had the summer salad and the spam and egg sliders (Hawaiian nostalgia!) oh and a sidecar mule! Wonderful! Everything wonderful! It was such a casual unpretentious vibe just relaxing there and enjoying the area and the good music, food and drink!

Food was good I had the Mahi Mahi sandwich with sweet potato fries which (the waiter did not tell me they would cost $1.00 more than chips that come with meal) or I wouldn't have got them, he also said steak fries which they were but I'm not a fan of sweet potatoes I did not know they were sweet potatoes until they showed up on my plate. My husband ordered a Budweiser at the cost of $5.00 and was shocked at the high price our son had the IPA beer and it was $8.00 which is normal but the Bud was overpriced.

She made great recommendations and helped us decide based on our time constraints. She was attentive and gave us a lot of information about the food, live music, DJ and art for sale on all the walls. We weren't super hungry, so we tried the flatbread - sooo good. I will be back because the whole menu, including the drinks, sound wonderful. They offered zero spirit, GL and other substitutions if needed which is nice. The atmosphere has a moody, darker hang out vibe to it. I loved it and can't wait to bring some friends and family back! She recommended reservations on the weekends, especially on "First Fridays" as that's when they do events and an art crawl on Broadway when the weather is nice. We parked on the street in front of the building so I'm not sure if there is a parking lot. They do have outdoor seating as well in the front of the building. I remember when this location was a food co-op waaaaaaay back in the day. They did a great job transforming it into a relaxing bar and restaurant. We will go back and I highly recommend you check it out!

We were looking for a non-chain place for an early dinner and decided to give this place a try…read more When we arrived around 4 pm, there were a few people at the bar but we were the only ones at a table. We ordered the fried avocado which was served with pickled onions and a spicy dip - very good and the bonus was a happy hour discount. Hubby had the Cheddar Smash burger with fries as his side choice (other options are onion petals or a side salad). Catsup was complimentary but there was a charge for the garlic aioli. Good but nothing stand out. I had the Brie and Berry grilled cheese without the prosciutto. My choice of side was the onion petals. Again, tasty but not standout. Ahlana served us quickly and with a smile, checking in several times to see if we were enjoying our meal. It was kind of dark inside (adding to the atmosphere no doubt) and there is a collection of eclectic art work. We were not fans of the music but we are old! There is outside seating but road noise may take away enjoyment of dining here. Enjoyable meal.

Hideout 125 is easily one of our FAVORITE places in Fort Wayne! The food is consistently excellent,…read morethe drinks are great, and we've always had fantastic service. It has a fun atmosphere while still being perfect for a nice dinner or date night. One of my personal favorites is the steak and eggs, and I love that you can get it during both brunch AND lunch! There are so many great choices on the menu, though, and everything we've tried has been delicious. And you HAVE to try the carrot cake. It is GINORMOUS and absolutely delicious! Definitely big enough to share--or eat some there and take the rest home for later, which is usually the better plan. We really love this place and have never been disappointed. Great food, great drinks, great service, and just an all-around great Fort Wayne restaurant. Definitely one of our favorites and a place we highly recommend!

The restaurant had a wonderfully lively atmosphere, yet it never felt too loud or overwhelming. Our server, Caity, was fantastic. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and her hospitality made our evening very special. EVERYTHING she suggested was perfection. We had and enjoyed their signature Crab Cakes, Sea Bass, and Beignets. If drinking alcohol try the marvelous Old Fashioned, and if not drinking alcohol try the refreshing Lemon Meringue. Caity made our night unforgettable. 1,000 stars all the way! We will definitely be back.
