Both dishes were really good, loved the atmosphere and aesthetic. The workers were all welcoming and nice. I recommend for date nights or dinner with the girls !

We brought our daughter for her birthday and we had filets , salmon and other dishes. They were delicious. My filet was medium rare and it was perfect. Our server Evie was very attentive and looking after us. We had a great time. The atmosphere was very relaxed and quiet with nice background music. Certainly one of our favorite places to celebrate our events. Thank you guys for your hospitality and service!

Came here for a lunch meeting. Not from Ft. Wayne and wasn't overly familiar with the area and when I mapped to it I was wondering if I was going to the right place. Tucked away off to the side, almost "hiding" was the hideout! It is a newer modern building, totally out of place from the rest of the area. It has sleek signage and big contemporary doors. Once you enter you feel like you are in a speakeasy, very much a vibe. Good music playing, hostess dressed in black dresses, very much a Chicago type feel. We had reservation and were sat right away. If you go right, you go into the restaurant area and if you go left you walk into big doors that are the speak easy which is where we sat. Very nice modern room, book shelves, comfortable booths, very old school steakhouse feel. I LOVED IT Our sever was nice, and offered suggestions. While I didn't go with her suggestion, I opted for the steak salad and I'm glad I did. It was SOOOOOOO good! A good healthy steak portion with potatoes, asparagus, onion, blue cheese and I don't know what else but man it was amazing. I don't get to Ft Wayne often but it's pretty much worth the trip just to come here. I would really like to come during dinner to have cocktails. The drink menu looked good too.

Hideout 125 (Dupont & Coldwater Roads) - more upscale dinning in the Fort This is my first visit to the new Hideout 125. We really liked dining at the older location. The high level of service, quality food and smaller-more intimate facilities were very attractive. Fast forward to the new location...the same elements still exist along side a much larger venue. The new Hideout 125 is now a standalone building across from the old building. Lots of easy-in-essy out parking. This facility has a large bar, outdoor dining area, a 50 person banquet room, a 14 person meeting room and a large main dining area. The decor is modern with lots of dark wood work and very dim lighting. The environment is very relaxing (no hurried dining), comfortable and welcoming. The team was outstanding on this occasion - very friendly and professional. While the facility is large...you really need to make a reservation. It is difficult to get a prime time dining slot without one. Making an on line reservation is very easy. Hideout 125 is not for everyone. The menu is fairly large and diverse. Most people will find the menu choices to be fairly expensive (see attached menu). The portion sizes are moderately large but not overwhelming. Some entrees come with a small side. Additional sides can be purchased at a higher cost. Here is a review of the food items we ordered: -Lobster flatbread: very lite and flaky crust; sweet chili sauce gives it a fantastic pop; cream cheese pulls the onion and mozzarella together nicely; wonton crispy chips added a nice crunch; good appetizer to share without diliing you up! -House salad: fresh and long leafy greens; lots of side vegetables; decent sized salad - almost could split between two people; delicious homemade honey mustard dressing - sweet, thick, nice mild mustard consistency -Shrimp Torttole: LOTS of large shrimp that are perfectly cooked! Pasta was cooked to a firm but soft texture; cream sauce was thin, lightly spiced and had a very lite cheese taste; refreshing peppers/onion/spinach taste also -Pork Ribeye: cooked perfectly!! Very moist and tender; the brown sauce was smooth, rich, added a meaty beef type taste and accented the pork & mushrooms nicely; the mashed potatoes are real mashed potatoes - firm, thick along with visible peel parts Overall, we enjoyed the dining experience at Hideout 125. It is expensive...so we would opt to dine here on a more special occasion. Fort Wayne is blessed with several nice upscale dining options. You will find the Hideout 125 to be an excellent choice.

    Spinach Salad Lunch

Went for dinner. Salads and apps. The spinach salad with peaches was honestly probably one of the best salads I have had in a long time. The crab cakes were okay. If you are a big crab cake connoisseur , I wouldn't get them, too much corn. My friend got the tuna and she said it was really good. I also tried her chopped salad and if you like artichokes this is a 10/10.

We were a party of four on Father's Day during their Father's Day Brunch. It was busy, as you would expect and we found out upon arrival it was their second day in the new location. Our daughter and son-in-law had been to their original location and made the suggestion and we agreed to meet them there. When we arrived, we were confused because the parking lot was empty. It turns out, that on that day, not all of their social media had been updated with the new address. Fortunately, it was a quick one-minute drive (the back of the new location is visible from the other parking lot) to the correct location. We were seated in the bar area. They managed to keep the prohibition flavor with wall size murals and tasteful décor, while at the same time making the space upscale modern. Service was on the slow side but that works very well for brunch and we had plenty to talk about. The food was presented beautifully (sorry no photos). Food was fan worthy across the table with one hiccup. While the Cinnamon French Toast (two orders) and Jumbo Hashbrown came out beautifully, the Chicken & Waffles had to be returned to the kitchen, as the chicken was raw in places. That hiccup was resolved and everything was good when the new dish came out. All said, the food ultimately is fan worthy. We all abstained from adult beverages this time in solidarity with our daughter, who is soon to become a mother. We look forward to trying the adult drinks during a future visit.

Food - everything we ordered was tasty (prime rib w/mashed potatoes and asparagus, ses bass w/risotto) both came with a side salad, French onion soup, hideout hash browns crab cakes, dessert trio, bread pudding, carrot cake (the couple next to us had that). The prime rib was a little on the rare side, but when I heat up the leftovers, it'll be perfect. It was tender and juicy, the horseradish sauce was flavorful and the sides were both cooked well. My friend enjoyed her sea bass, but found the risotto to be a little too al dented. Drinks - if you enjoy an old-fashioned, you will NOT be disappointed. There's is aged 2 weeks in vanilla scented barrels. It's absolutely delicious. The prohibition pinch received good reviews as well. Dessert - another home run. The beignet on the trio was the favorite, followed closely by the triple chocolate brownie. If you're a bread pudding person, you won't be disappointed...a little bit more of that delicious sauce and it would have been perfect. The STAR of the dessert menu has go to be the carrot cake! OMG....first of all, it's enough to serve 2-3, maybe 4, people. Second of all, it's an entire bowl of deliciousness...from the ice cream, to the frosting, to the toasted pecans and the light and fluffy cake. Service - we sat at the bar. The bar tenders were great - eey knowledgeable about the menu (food and drinks) and the didn't stop moving thr while time we were there. I don't live in Fort Wayne, but this place will always be on my list. The owner (who we met) is quite personable and the managers (we also met 1 of them) do a great job interacting with their patrons and definitely want to make sure your dining experience is enjoyable

We were visiting the Fort Wayne area to attend the funeral of a family friend on a Saturday. After the funeral we were looking for something to eat. We found Hideout 125 after looking for a great locally owned restaurant on Yelp. When we arrived the hostess shared that immediate seating was available at the bar. But, if we wanted a table there would be a five hour wait. We had other plans so almost walked out of the door as we didn't want to sit at the bar. However, the search for somewhere else didn't seem to be as enticing so we stayed and I'm certainly glad we didn't leave! Walking out of the door would have been such a missed opportunity for a great experience. Once seated at the bar, we immediately observed the bartenders making some amazing cocktails. Our bartender was able to educate us on each one and it was clear, this place was different...in the most amazing way! We sampled the Old Fashioned and it was the most unique and well crafted Old Fashioned that I've ever tasted. Two of my dining companions ordered the old fashioned and I ordered the Prohibition Punch that was both refreshing and delightfully presented with the most visual appeal I've seen in some time. One of the managers, I can't remember his name, was so engaged and made a personal connection with us seeing our Detroit Lions shirts. He also was able to explain a few menu items to us while our bartender was busy and it was such a natural transition of a supportive service environment. We ordered the Hideout Hashbrowns as an appetizer and they were flavorful and a nice start to our dining experience. This was followed by the house salad with cucumbers cut into thin long strips that added to the aesthetic of the salad and the French onion soup which was undoubtedly the best I've ever had. For the entree, I ordered the Chilean Seabass that did not disappoint. The light crisp added to the top of this buttery fish accompanied by the tomato tapenade and balsamic reduction was impeccable. The seabass was served on top of a risotto. The risotto was more al dente than my taste buds prefer but it had a great flavor profile. My dining companions had the prime rib and could not stop raving about it. The manager came over and checked in with us multiple times and noticed that I ate less of the risotto and offered to buy me dessert which was not necessary but certainly appreciated. We also met the owner and he was very pleasant and welcoming and joked with us about being Bears fans when we were wearing our Lions t-shirts. The staff all had a very personable and what seemed to be a high service minded mentality. They were in sync and worked like a well orchestrated team. We all had boxes for our leftovers but could not skip the dessert menu. The dessert menu items seemed interesting with the titles of the items. However, there were no descriptions to warn your tastebuds to the experiences your senses were about to undergo. I ordered the French Toast Bread Pudding served with vanilla ice cream. The portion was generous and dripping with either a bourbon or maple glaze that I could not stop eating even though we were full. My cousin ordered the dessert sampler that was beautifully presented with a chocolate spoon. I tried her beignet as our family is from Louisiana and we don't play about our beignets. The beignet could rival Cafe du Monde it was great! We met some new friends at the restaurant bar and they ordered the Carrot Cake. This carrot cake was like nothing I've seen or experienced. Our new friend shared a taste of it with me and my dining companions. It was served in a round bowl beautifully piled high with a very light cream cheese icing with toasted nuts. Until now I thought no carrot cake could ever out perform J Alexander. Well let me introduce you to Hideout 125. I ordered a basket with the house made oldfashioned to take home that included all of the accompaniments and tools needed to build an Old Fashion at home. The restaurant looks like it will be expanding in the future. Today's space provides a great welcoming experience. I love the mural on the wall when you're walking toward the restrooms. When I was headed to Fort Wayne people kept asking me what's there, well my answer to that question will forever be Hideout 125 and I see some yearly roadtrips in my future to visit again! This place is a true gem.

We tried the new location Friday for lunch. The new restaurant is beautiful, spacious and has private dining areas as well as a patio. The service was a little slow, thankfully, we weren't in a rush at lunch. Our server was very sweet and helpful though. The food was great as always! They have a great lunch menu!

The sweet potato fries had a bold sweet potato taste but were disappointingly limp - first time they have been this way. The flat fries were uniquely thin and crispy. The cheese sauce was a unique blend of different cheeses that didn't taste like cheese. More of a smooth, mild and somewhat plain sauce. The ketchup had a nice bold tomato taste. The ranch dip was fairly unique with very faint ranch and oil taste. My wife loved the Southwest bowl. Very fresh and with lots of healthy add ins. The marinaded chicken was very moist and seasoned nicely. The guacamole was very tasty. The short rib beef stroganoff had an outstanding beef taste. Hubby had the not-your-ordinary wedge salad as a starter (pictured). Bacon, tomato, bleu cheese crumbles, hard boiled egg, and a creamy balsamic dressing. Very tasty! Me, always a sucker for good French onion soup (pictured), which I always order with no bread or croutons. Broth has authentic rich flavor with just the right amount of simmered onions. The only thing that might have made it even better would have been the use of Gruyere (or Swiss, instead of what seemed to be mozzarella) for the cheesy melt topping the delicious soup. Our chosen entrees tonight were the cashew crusted Mahi Mahi (pictured) served with orzo and fresh green beans, and the seared tuna (pictured) served on an umami blend of Napa cabbage and broccoli lightly dressed in sesame ginger, just-right heat, and peanuts. SO good! Oh...and you can see by the pics that the portions are well presented and generous enough to have some for lunch the next day! Truly a local fav! Great place for lunch or dinner!
