I was super disappointed with this as I'd read/seen a lot of hype. I got the loose cannon wings & fries. The fries tasted like ore-ida with ranch seasoning poured on them. The wings were dry, only seasoned on one side, & just overall not good. I've had better from the Walmart hot deli. I hate to be writing a negative review, but this was truly so bad & tasted like cheap quality food.

My girlfriend turned me out!! Okay if you're looking for some WINGS this is a go to and they are open late! I am not a dry rub kinda gal but yesssss these flavors are spot on! The crack wings & Donald Trump wings oh and the crack fries the seasoning is so good! Such a cute food truck with similar-fast but it is worth the wait.

Holy cow or should I say holy chicken wing. When I tell you I didn't want to stop eating these delectable morsels, I mean I wanted to become a black pit of taste buds to suck up all the flavor. Which is basically what my friend and I did. We went late at night (about midnight), so it was cash only. I don't know if the truck is normally like that, but here's your warning! It's totally worth the atm visit. The service was fast, and they brought it out to the car! Excellent service, nice workers, and most importantly DELICIOUS wings.

One of THE best wing places I've ever tried. We tried this place on a whim because we were in the area and I highly recommend checking them out! The owner and service were amazing from the start, he even recommended to us the best flavors. Food came out hot and fresh. Service was fast and we waited barely any time for our food. I am not a wing person at all but after this place I might as well be ! They were so so good so much flavor in every bite!! The Crack fries I no joke ate 3 baskets I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!! The owners are such sweethearts and made sure we got exactly what we wanted, they even put on Stranger things for us !! Service was amazing made me and my stomach feel so good! These are hands down the best wings I've ever tried! The crispy texture, the seasoning, the love that you can immediately tell goes into it. It's all there. Ron and his family do a really great job with the food here. The restaurant is very clean and the food all smelled amazing. You won't get better wings than this after coming here. It could've been done a lot better. It was not up to crispy crunch and juicy standards of let's say Tumble22. I was excited to try a small food truck that was just outside some store I was stopping by. I liked the cashier's easy going vibe and loved that they were able to take the next person's vague order of "chicken and a bunch of spices" in stride. Their menu, albeit full of personality, was a bit hard to parse with all the emojis. Food itself: the fry was a bit too hard even though I ate it fresh in my car (was freezing out). I like that there was plenty of batter but juiciness was a bit lacking. I wouldn't go out of my way for this but down to give a second chance! read more

I don't think it'd be crazy to say these are the best wings I've had in Austin. Pictures don't do the food justice. The woman working today, I'm not sure if she was the owner or not, was so sweet and kept apologizing for the wait. Don't apologize for having business, there's a reason why you're busy! Making this at least a monthly stop. read more

First of all, these are hands-down, the best wings we've had in Austin- and we've been through a lot of wings. The gumbo and the red beans and rice were incredible as well! Most, notably, however, is the service... There was some complication with our delivery, which I really believe was the fault of the delivery service, not the Potluck. Ron went out of his way to make sure that we got our food, and even threw in a ton of extras, since it was going to be late . Seriously the most kind and generous person I have ever encountered in a food truck. 100% going back soon! I absolutely recommend the spot!! read more

Not exactly my taste but doesn't mean it can't be yours. This is definitely a kid hangout spot. They have a younger kid running the window and his friends were sitting at the patio table right in front. They were out of most of the flavors although they just opened probably an hour before I came. read more

Takeout had numerous problems with the experience from the beginning: (1.) too long of a wait, others were also waiting (2.) disinterested staff, in the weeds (3.) not enough food for the price ($) (4.) three tiny wings and soggy fries, ick! (5.) food truck atmosphere w/ poor lighting, and loud gas motor running - so loud you couldn't hear the order or the reply (6.) sub-optimal location at Cherry Creek shopping center on Menchaca. The food wasn't very good and not a good value. I will not come back, nor should you! Try the new Raising Cane's at 5601 Brodie if you want fried chicken wings! SOOOOO good! Highly suggest... we were looking for good wings in Austin and struck out everywhere else so didn't have high hopes for this place but they were BOMB. the flavors were so delicious and the chicken quality was amazing. We got the heat check which is basically a traditional Buffalo but pretty spicy. It was fantastic. We also got crack because the guy working there said it was his favorite - did not disappoint. This place is worth the price! I got an order of 6 wings. The dynamite and the new "Crack" wings! Service was absolutely top TIER!!! I enjoyed the customer service and hospitality of this place. I also wanted the lobster Mac & cheese but unfortunately they were sold out. The owner recommended the Gumbo! I am so happy I went with it because it has an amazing KICK to it, perfect combination and so delicious. I definitely recommend this place for the service and food! They are also open to 3AM on the weekend. Oh and the music!!! Love me some good R&B read more

First time yesterday and the food was absolutely excellent! Truly the best chicken I have had in Austin. The vibes are immaculate, perfect r&b blasting for a Sunday afternoon, reminded me of my mom cooking chicken on a weekend. The batter on the chicken is delicious along with the plethora of sauces and flavors available. We ended up getting the F*ck dem kidz & Sue wang flavors both delicious! The chicken was cooked so well all the way thru and fried to perfection. I would definitely recommend and will eat here again. You can place orders thru Instagram dm if you would like to order ahead but the chicken was ready for us within 10 minutes. They are cashapp/venomo only so make sure you have one of the apps. read more

I went to see a live band (Honey Made) and they were talking about the best wings in Austin (Potluck) and I knew I had to try. Context: fried wings went from being a childhood favorite food, to my adulthood food adventure mission. Before I left Brooklyn, NY I made it a mission to try every wing spot and rated them. Now that I'm living in Austin, the wing adventure must continue. Potluck's wings are hands down the best thus far. Some of the reviews here surprise me, because I enjoyed every single bite. I got the Hot Girl and Stardust. It was a bit hard to tell the difference but either way they were delicious. CRISPY. FLAVORFUL. Finger licken good. Not sure if this place is open. Nobody greeted but the window was open so maybe they're on break? Are u really 24hrs because I went at 5pm and didn't look like anyone wanted to take an order. Dang I was ready to order for my family. Pictures look great, wish I can try it. No staff, no menu on the outside, are you really open? Oh well, going down the street to get my wings from elsewhere. One star because the artwork on the truck is pretty cool. Does nothing for me when I'm hungry tho. read more

We went here because my son loves wings. Never again. There website states that Wednesday is $.75 wing day. We ordered our wings and realized that the girl did not charge the right price. I went back and asked her and she said that I had to ask for the special or I didn't get it!!! What is this? She refused to credit back the difference. On top of this, halfway through my wings, I noticed they started tasting like soap. That means I've thing... they aren't cooked. Too late though. I've been sick all afternoon. So, got overcharged for food poisoning. Not cool. I would not recommend this wing place. read more

I absolutely adore this spot. Not only does the music hit, the food does too. The Potluck is so slept on ya'll and these flavors will change your life. It's a family owned restaurant with genuine service that really does focus on customer satisfaction. The seasoned fries make your mouth water, and THE SEASONING on these wings is mind blowing. I have yet to figure out how they come up with so many bomb flavors, but oh my lanta should you try every single one of them. I'll be here early evening or late at night; the food is consistently delicious, the family is consistently warm and welcoming, and I am consistently happy each and every time. It's literally my go-to wing spot, I'm a loyal customer for real. read more

My husband stopped here on his way home from work and I'm so glad he did. He said that the guy gave him some sample wings to try which I thought was really great customer service. And wow, were the wings good. I have no clue which ones he got (he came home with 4 different flavors) and they were ALL amazing. Cooked perfectly, beautifully spicy and really big. My kids and I smashed them and were bummed when they were gone. Can't wait to go back! read more

Since it was this new and poppin' restaurant on East Cesar Chavez from the team behind De Nada, we had over an hour wait that we didn't take up. Its vibe intrigued me, and I think Cajun food is top five like Tatum with a cut. I decided to prepare only slightly this time. While getting dinner with a friend, we were discussing places when I suggested Lil' Easy. I threw a reservation down for an hour later at one of their numerous dining options. Upon arrival, parking at that little strip of restaurants on East Cesar Chavez is a bit treacherous. If you're not afraid of getting your steps in at 6 pm on a Friday, don't sweat it. Anyone else, good luck. There are a lot of different seating arrangements at Lil' Easy: the true outdoor patio with fans and umbrellas, the climate-controlled outdoor space that still brings the sun while still pumping A/C, and the traditional indoor space. Plenty of seating. The entire place was decorated with Mardi Gras beads and colors. Off the rip, we had to set the tone: I ordered a Pimm's Cup while my friend got some secret frozen swirl. We had to throw down an order of the Crawfish Queso as well. The food and drinks were served so quickly, we questioned if it was ours. The queso was De Nada's signature queso with Crawfish Étouffée mixed in. There are no tortilla chips on the side, but instead toasted bread. It's kinda like a DIY Crostini. The crawfish's flavor is a unique and savory balance to the cheesiness of the queso. Very delightful. We crushed it. My friend wanted to go wild. Another appetizer?? Their Shrimp Cocktail was thrown down immediately after ordering. The shrimp was great, but those house pickles were sneakily one of the best things they served us. Living the high life. Speaking of that, I ordered a High Life Pony as we made our main orders: a Fried Catfish Po'Boy and Fried Oyster Po'Boy. Both cut down the middle so we could have a little this, a little that. I think the bread, the catfish and the oysters, and the fries served alongside it were all incredible. My only issue was that the catfish po'boy had horseradish in it. That is a me issue, and I don't know why I can't stand horseradish. I don't know if it was hiding in their coleslaw or their rémoulade, but something was horseradish-y! I'd get the oyster po'boy again and again though! We closed the night with me being fun as I ordered their Frozen Espresso Martini with sprinkles and whipped cream because some other lady sitting nearby had that, and I WANTED TO BE FUN TOO. My friend got herself the seasonal nonalcoholic Arnold Palmer that was spiked with some Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka. Hers was great, but mine was basically a milkshake. I looked like a joyous kid with my drink. I was so very happy. They do give you lids for your drinks if you want to take them with you, but I planned to finish mine then and there. The gimme cups are also a nice touch and have their cute alligator mascot on them. Throughout the night, we could not believe how fast the service was at getting our meals and our drinks to us. I recently visited your establishment in South Austin, craving wings and excited to support a local business. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing and left me questioning whether I would ever return--or recommend this location to anyone. Upon arrival, the employee in the food area seemed visibly bothered by my presence, as if I were interrupting his personal meal. He spoke to me with a mouth full of food, which was unprofessional and off-putting. I noticed wings already prepared, sitting in a basket above the hot oil, with no one else waiting in line. When I inquired about ordering, he curtly told me, "I only have whole wings right now." I asked for clarification, and instead of explaining, he repeated himself with an attitude and a blank stare, as if I were inconveniencing him. There was zero customer service--no explanation of options, no effort to offer alternatives, and no attempt to make the experience inviting or welcoming. The employee made it abundantly clear that he had no interest in my business. It was one of the rudest experiences I've had in South Austin to date, and it left a lasting negative impression. I am sharing this because I believe in giving businesses the opportunity to improve. However, based on this encounter, I cannot recommend this location to others, and I will not return unless this issue is addressed. Employees are the face of your business, and experiences like this can quickly drive customers away. I hope this feedback encourages you to evaluate the level of customer service at this location.
