The Parlor has officially become my new go to. I've had this place three days in a row now, and somehow they keep getting better. This time I went with the Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe with mushrooms and fennel sausage, and wow... phenomenal. Creamy, peppery, rich, with the mushrooms and sausage taking it to another level. The pepperoni pizza with oyster mushrooms was just as impressive. The crust, the pepperoni, the mushrooms everything works. And I can't forget the raspberry cookies. Those were the perfect little finish and honestly way too easy to eat. At this point, The Parlor has officially raised the bar. Everything I've had has been phenomenal, and this is without question my new go to Italian spot.
Fantastic meal! I ordered the Paccheri alla Norma- a pasta dish with eggplant and tomatoes and it was way better than I expected. The pasta was perfectly al dente with a fresh tomato sauce and hearty chunks of egg plant. I enjoyed that it came with fresh arugula on top and delicious focaccia bread on the side. The cashier, she was very friendly and attentive, thank you! I enjoyed the huge indoor/outdoor space and I saw a few families with children utilizing the area for their kids to have fun. I look forward to coming back and bringing my family to try their pizzas and other pasta dishes. There's also a happy hour!
The short rib rigatoni bolognese was yummy! Pasta is al dente and came with generous portions of sauce. There was a decent amount of short rib buried in my pasta as well. Wasn't a huge fan of the bread that came on the side though. The sourdough was a little too tart, it was a lil mushy but wasn't toasted or warmed, and there's a hole in the middle. Surprised that they don't use the same sourdough as Rye Goods next door. Service was quick; you seat yourself at a table in the open space after ordering and they'll bring it out to you. The dining area is shared by Rye Goods patrons, but there's plenty of space to choose from
Industrial area in Tustin... but somehow fresh, wood-fired pizza?? Already our 4th time here and the food is very consistent! Not to mention great food + tons of seating =perfect for studying or co-working. Must-gets: Green Goddess salad + Chicken Calabrese Piadina + sausage & peppers pizza
3/14- Take out order Came by last night since there was an Event next door at Even house . It wasn't crazy packed or super busy so when you enter there is a table with menus & a sign to stand there and wait . The Asian cashier/ customer service team member wasn't warm or inviting nor friendly .. she actually looked overwhelmed to be honest and didn't event greet me or anything so I just placed my order and grabbed a drink from their fridge and paid & still tipped even though I wasn't happy about my entire experience with coming in this establishment. I asked her kindly how long it would be she stated 15-20 mins . So, after the timeframe trashed to grab my pizza I ordered . I like the pizza is made fresh to order in their oven ..ingredients were fresh and delicious but I don't think I'd come back here to find in or order take out based on my overall experience last night .
My friend had heard about this place. I don't know what to expect, but it had great Yelp reviews. It's a small restaurant, 2 small tables inside, but plentiful seating in the common area. There were 4 of us , we ate family style. The pizza was good but I thought the pasta was even better. The salads were very good as well. I brought the salads home, my husband said it was 10/10. We ordered the green goddess, Caesar and the parlor salads. The service was great- order at the counter and the food is brought out to you. Definitely plan to go back, I would order the salads and pasta. BTW, next to them is a great sourdough bakery. I just didn't have enough space.
This place was fantastic. You order at the counter then find a spot in their indoor or outdoor patio dining area where your food will be brought out to you. Everything was freshly made and delicious. Extra bonus: Service was great and friendly. Would definitely go again and again.
Hole in a wall eatery in Tustin! The parlor is located on red hill inside the same plaza as rye goods and a golf simulator. Plenty of parking, ordering is self serve but servers were bring food out to you. We got the margarita pizza, Cacio e Pepe, Cesar salad, and tiramisu. Margarita Pizza- (8/10)-not overly salty well cooked and thin crust good ratio of sauce to cheese Cacio e pepe (9/10)-not overly creamy pasta was a little to al dente for me but love the black pepper and cheese flavor Cesar salad (6/10)-bit too crunchy not too much flavor, focaccia was little soggy Tiramisu (10/10)-favorite dish! Soaked with khalua not overly sweet and good coffee flavor Overall service is fast and they have HH! Would love to try the sandwiches my next visit!
My classmate and I were looking for lunch after a long day of fire training and legal proceedings at the courthouse. Came back to this gem and it's 2 for 2! Came in and was greeted by the friendly staff. Plenty of open space and seating for both sunny days and rainy weather. Really good music and vibes all around! I ordered the margarita pizza and an iced latte. Barista always makes great recommendation for sweetness so if you ask them they'll hook it up indefinitely. Check it out!
Great place for a quick lunch break. Panini and turkey sandwich were huge portion. Fresh and tasty. We also got the Rigatoni Bolognese. Highly recommend. Definitely come back to try more item. One issue is the parking, very crowded building, not much of space even on the street. Best to come before or after the lunch rush.
-The food was amazing! -we sat out in the common area and really enjoyed our meal. -The only issue was the music was so loud inside we had to yell out order. (My parents had a really hard time in the actual store)
The food was good and the ambiance was okay, but I was really disappointed by the extra charges. They charged $6 just for buffalo sauce, and adding chicken cost another $7. That feels like a rip-off, especially since even many high-end restaurants don't charge that much for simple add-ons. The taste was okay, but honestly, nothing special enough to justify those prices. Overall, I expected better value for the money.
First of all I love the open shared space they have with Rye Goods. Great spot for meet ups and doing work. Plenty of seating. Good for kids to roam around but bring your own entertainment. Parlor offers a variety of selection from appetizers salads panini pasta and pizzas of course. I tried their green goddess salad. Yet the dressing was good , the salad was so disappointing, portions were so small perhaps only a few pieces of herbs with 2 small pieces of avocado, very much lacking overall Would suggest not getting this and opt for something else

First time trying their smoked turkey Panini sandwich. Also shared the parlor salad with my Co-worker. I have to say that this was one of my favorite meals so far here at The Parlor. I loved the taste and all of the ingredients inside the sandwich as well as the salad. It was a very satisfying lunch, and I will gladly order it again. read more
Nothing cheers me up more than a brick oven prepping a fresh ass pizza... It's sooooo good and I am so thankful The Parlor is not too far from where I live. My favorite salad is probably their Caesar (THE CHEESE), but every one of their pastas is a 10/10. You can't go wrong with fresh made pasta and the best sauces. The service is consistently wonderful. Everyone is warm, attentive, with a great personality. The ambiance is BUMPIN'. I can imagine the music getting kind of chaotic if I was there for hours, but it's fine for an hour or so. Plus: there is a great cafeteria area with little to no music, so you can think and talk with the best food out there. read more

Walked in at 5pm on Thursday and ordered, the gal helped me choose which pizza and it was so good! My kids loved their pepperoni, said it was spicy but good. These kids wanted Domino's pizza, I said with all due respect, absolutely not, and they were so glad I brought them here instead! It's a massive seating space and we had our pick of the tables, indoor or out on the patio. Clean bathrooms, quick service, amazing food. The Caesar was good too, very peppery. I wish I could do half ratings. I would give this place a 3.5 but I can't. It doesn't deserve a 3, so I gave it a 4. The food is good, I like the space they also have. The service was also good. It was interesting that they gave us the pizza before they gave us the salad though. That isn't a huge issue though. My only real gripe with this place is the price for the food. Everything was basically $20 once you include tax. Not that expensive prices is an issue for Italian food, but I felt that they were small portions for the price. I would go back, but only if family/friends wanted to go. And even then, I would rather take them to places I consider better for Italian food. read more

The Parlor has been on my must-try list for a while, and it definitely lived up to the hype. This hidden Italian gem is attached to the industrial-style dining room at Stafford Prime--kid- and dog-friendly, and open only until 8 p.m. on weekdays. The first time I stopped by (peak dinner hour on a Friday), the line was out the door, and I figured I wouldn't get to order before closing--so I left. But I finally made it back yesterday for an early dinner (lesson learned), and I'm so glad I did. We started with the Focaccia Pugliese, which was perfectly crispy and came with one of the best tapenades I've ever had. Next was the Paccheri Pasta--cooked beautifully al dente, with sausage and fresh rapini. Last up was the Devil's Kiss Pizza, which had a perfect balance of sweet and savory and really tied the meal together. Every dish was on point, and The Parlor is officially on our go-to list now. read more
Can it be considered "hole in the wall" if the space is massive but unassuming and hard to find? lol. Either way I'm so glad i found this gem with the most delicious and unique pizza. We ordered the sausage & peppers pizza and the Fiori e limone pizza. The crust was perfect on both of them. Not only was it crispy and airy like the ones in Italy, it also tasted great. The sausage and peppers pizza was packed with flavor. The peppers tasted like pickled jalapeños. I was skeptical about the fiori e limone at first since I wasn't sure about having lemon slices and zucchini on pizza, but I understood the hype after the first bite. The flavors are light and bright but somehow still really satisfying. This place is dog friendly so we brought our puppy with us. They have a nice airy patio as well, perfect for a casual date. read more
The pizzas were really good, good size, the only thing i would say is you need to eat a bit fast because once the pizza gets cold the cheese doesnt taste that great. So as long as you eat it while its hot its good. Cross the hallway there is plenty of places to sit down and eat, it gives warehouse vibes. We were a little confused on if we had to clean up ourselves but someone came and took our trays for us. read more

Food is excellent, service even better and the ambiance is energetic. Best pizza in town and maybe all of OC, Devils Kiss and Green Goddess and my favorite, but honestly anything is great here. So good! Have been back 2 weeks in a row for lunch just for that Green goddess salad with grilled chicken. It's a super random spot off of red hill, but the vibe is amazing! Fun music and you order at the counter and sit at a community section with tables and chairs and couches. The service is consistently friendly. My friends had the salad as well, and enjoyed it! The pizza, focaccia and piadina was excellent also! Arnold Palmer was perfect, as well! read more

I love the vibe, the music playing, I was ready to dance right there and then. The general seating area is very fresh, very clean loved all the plants. This will be my new place when I'm in Tustin. This place has been on my list forever and finally got the chance to try it! In reality this place is a 3.5/5. The service itself was amazing and the spot that it is in is very cute and aesthetically pleasing. They had a good amount of items on the menu but opted in for pizza. The pizza we had picked was the sausage and peppers, first off the topping choices were amazing and everything went so well together and I was an extremely big fan of the crispy crust. However, the pizza felt a little soggy to me that really made the whole pizza fall flat. Not much sauce on it either because of that reason probably but wish the dough on the bottom was a little more crispy or denser so that it wouldnt flop over very easily and every thing falling off of it. I think its still a pretty neat location and wouldnt mind giving it a second shot. read more

I love the Parlor!! Megan is fantastic and amazing!! The chef is incredible. Everything they make is unique incredible flavor profile. It's definitely a treat. They're open Monday through Friday, except for holidays. The chef has some standards and also specials every day, including incredible baked goods. I hope you'll try them soon. read more

Have been coming here for a while because my partner and I have made a thing to have P&P (pizza&pasta) Fridays at the Parlor. We love the Parlor, has never disappointed us. They have great service and large seating space. We are very sad that they are not open weekends otherwise we'd come more often and bring friends. However food is always on point and delicious. Note: if you order wine to drink in the large seating space, it will be served in a paper cup. We usually get pizza because the crust is delicious but this time we tried the Calabrian Chicken Wings (oven baked, tasty, and sweet), chicken tortilla soup (hearty but prefer other spots), Caesar salad (love love love), and the Paccheri (my overall favorite). read more

Wow, their pizza is so good! Even my daughter approved it, since she's a picky eater. The Pizza and drink was very flavorful. I do recommend to try their pizzas. As for the other dishes haven't tried them but wouldn't surprise me if it's also good. read more

Cute little pasta place in a huge warehouse type situation. I got the green goddess salad and another pasta (sry can't remember what it was!) but both were rlly good. we also got their squash and lemon pizza and lemme tell u it was life changing. I love a good ricotta and citrus situation so 10/10. Staff was super nice and brought our food out to the huge seating area which had plenty of tables! Definitely coming here again :) read more

Food - think style crust pizza. Was looking for a New Haven pizza style and this came up. Ordered the sausage and peppers pizza and it sure was think crust and it was slightly spicy. When thinking New Haven style, it's indeed thin crust but slightly crispier. What I got was thin, but slightly on the softer side. Good but could be cooked a little more? I think I just need to ask for it to sit in their stone oven a little longer. Service - was good for what this place is Ambiance - it's a warehouse type off the business beaten path. Industrial feel big warehouse type dining place. Maybe used to be a furniture warehouse? Who knows. Quite unique. Verdict - it was good and worth a try at least once. read more

Great Italian spot to grab lunch at and they have plenty of parking! When you enter you go left to order and then when you go right you'll see plenty of tables to sit and wait for your food. I would say some of the pasta is hit or miss, highly recommend the rigatoni Bolognese. Great tender short rib and flavorful pasta! Cacio e pepe - good al dente pasta not a fan of the vesuvio, some parts of it was a bit too salty? For pizza we ordered the Fiori e Limone - it was good, but i felt the pieces of lemon were a bit too overpowering. I removed the lemon slices and it was a lot better for me. Some of their specials that I've tried were the Mortadella sandwich 10/10 highly recommend, but i'm not sure if they still have it. Nutella Gelato - meh it was pretty icy and not really creamy would pass. read more

Was in the area and had been wanting to try this place out, so got 2 friends who lived and worked nearby to come out and join me; we were not disappointed. Decided to share a few items and we enjoyed everything; everyone had a different fave, but thought it was all great. It's a weird hipster office building location, so order on one side and then can find a table in either sides of the space. read more

If you're looking for high quality Neapolitan-style pizza, this is a great spot. On my visit I tried one of their specials: the 'Nduja pizza. I am a fan of this soft sausage with a tiny kick (think an Italian chorizo), and the ricotta cheese was a perfect accompaniment. The pizza also featured fresh greens arranged in the center, which elevated the taste. Speaking of greens, I also ordered a Green Goddess Salad. The portion size was large and could easily have been a meal if I were to add a protein. The salad featured atypical salad toppings (cilantro, ricotta salata, pangratatto) and a creamy lime dressing. The location itself is primarily designed for pick-up with one small table and some window seating. The building The Parlor is located in has an area for dine-in across the hall, which the restaurant staff delivers to. I took my order to go, so I can't comment on the seating area. I will return to try other pizzas, pastas, and to take advantage of their Happy Hour (Mon-Fri 3pm-6pm). read more

Went here for lunch with my coworkers and was very impressed. The presentation and plating of the food was top notch and everything from their pizzas to their pastas tasted so good. I placed my order for a quick pick up during lunch. My single item was ready at the exact pick up time, and it was still hot when I went to retrieve it a couple minutes late! I ordered the cacio e Pepe. The noodles were al dente with the perfect chew to them! However, the sauce was salty and too overseasoned. It was hard to enjoy the meal because of this. :( I think I would ask them to skip the cheese sprinkled on top next time, because it was just extremely salty. It came with 2 pieces of bread on the side, which was absolutely delicious and helped counter the salty flavor. The bread was so soft and dense and delicious!!! I am honestly so bummed about my pasta, but I know this place has the potential to be amazing. Definitely giving them the benefit of the doubt, because I would for sure come back to try it again. read more
