    Pho Combo/Dac Biet
    Angelica L.

Overall: 4.6/5 [dine In] We visited on two separate occasions and left both times feeling this is a solid Vietnamese restaurant. Service is consistently great, with veggies brought out promptly. The menu is extensive, so we are already looking forward to coming back to explore more dishes. One thing to note is that the veal rare steak pho and thit kho quet va com chay chao are no longer available, though they remain on the menu. The One Pho Hot Stone Special ($38): Sliced wagyu beef, beef short rib, flank brisket and poached egg. If you visit, try this at least once. The broth alone was so good that we didn't need to add any extra condiments, and the quality of the wagyu and short rib made it genuinely impressive and well worth the price. Pho Combo: Rare Beef, Brisket, Tripe, Flank and Beef Ball/Pho Dac Biet ($16.45) + Fresh Rice Noodles ($1.50): The fresh rice noodles fall somewhere between wide and regular thin rice noodles. While decent, it was not as flavorful or satisfying as the hot stone special, and the meat simply does not compare to the wagyu and short rib. We had to add Sriracha and hoisin sauce to give it more flavor. Bo La Lot ($24): Everything came out super fresh, and the banh hoi was exceptional, even folded into spring rolls. The bo la lot was enjoyable, though we have had better elsewhere. Our one gripe was the portion of meat, as only ten pieces did not feel like enough to pair with all the banh hoi and spring rolls. Hu Tieu Kho Trong Sot Thit ($15.95): Don't let the presentation fool you. The sauce makes it look unappetizing but it tasted absolutely delicious once you mix everything together. It was full of flavor and the best hu tieu kho we have had in Austin so far. House Favorite Combo/Bo Ne Dac Biet ($19.95): The baguette was fresh and even better when dipped in the sauce and pate. Everything on the plate came together nicely, hitting that umami sweet spot without being overpowering or salty. Fresh Kumquat Sugarcane Juice ($6.95 S / $9.45 L): Very refreshing and a great way to round out the meal.

We went to this restaurant while waiting for Costco's tire shop to finish with the car. They were busy but we were able to get a table for two for breakfast/brunch time. The staff were welcoming and nice, overall great service with regular "table touching". The pho was delicious. Nice rich broth, plenty of meat and toppings. Great value and quality for the price! Adding tho to my rating of great pho options in town for suuure. The appetizer (pork buns?) was okay, not my personal favorite overall, but glad we tried it. Vietnamese iced coffee was mostly ice and not a lot of coffee. When they first brought them to the table both were just half way full (but considering amount of ice it was likely much less). So we had to ask to fix both. For $6 a cup, filling them only half way would be an actual crime lol But they made it right this time. Overall worth coming back for the pho and perhaps try other menu options as they have so much more to try.

Overall, Not impressed. Service felt hurried and kind of chaotic (they weren't that busy). Pho was mediocre at best. Very salty. Took the menus away super fast so o couldn't even take a photo of it to post, sorry. Not planning on going back.

One of the better pho spots here while you wait for your Costco tire to get patched. The normal sized portion is really big. Prices are good. Service was also really good. The appetizer we got was the brisket bun. For $10 it was kind of underwhelming for the price, size, & what the dish was. The viet coffee although good was also kind of disappointing since it came in 75% ice and barely any coffee. The staff was nice enough to fill it some more. But there was so much ice it was not also. Other than that definitely come here for the pho. The menu is actually quite extensive.

This hidden gem, wonderful! Let's talk about the ambiance, the place is pretty chill and quite hidden, but has amazing customer service. My friend and I were seated immediately and received our food quickly. I had the beef and tripe with fresh noodles P5 and she had the B4 and said that it really hit the spot. The pho was a little bland, but I've heard that they are known for their other dishes, specifically the bò né, so if you have a chance to go, get that.

I am glad we tried this place. The service was good and their menu had some unique items on it that you wouldn't find at most Vietnamese restaurants. The pho was phine (see what I did there?) it wasn't as rich and complex as some pho broths are. I liked it but it was definitely light on flavor. The meat seemed like it was good quantity and the portion was good too. My husband had a dish with tomato sauce, different meats and an egg and it came with a baguette. The bread was excellent. So light yet crispy. The dish was unique and tasty but he wouldn't order it again. Give them a try!

Really incredible Vietnamese food at great prices. The Spring Rolls ($7.50) and Pork Skewer with Steamed buns ($8.50) were both amazing. Both are well made and took me to Flavor Town. I definitely am trying to come back for the pho and the bone marrow dishes. Other items on the menu include your typical Vietnamese fare - banh mihs and vermicelli bowls. The staff is kind the interior is clean and non -pretentious.

The beef pho is good, and the beef steak with eggs here is absolutely phenomenal! It comes with Banh Mi bread and a small bowl of salad. The salad was very refreshing with a hint of slightly tangy flavor, and the bread was warm on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The tender steak, eggs with the sauce, and the salad, putting all in the bread makes a perfectly juicy bite. Highly recommend it!

Stumbled on this place after a costco run and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. One of the most flavorful vegan broths I can find in Austin and packed with fresh veggies and tofu unlike many other places. They also had the option for fresh noodles which were amazing. The garlic tofu buns were stand out for me - so packed with flavor and absolutely divine. Overall value is so good for the price and taste was amazing! I will be back.

Value for money: 4 Cleanliness: 4 Food Quality: 4 Customer Service: 5 Look and Feel (Ambiance): 4 Thank you, Come Again?: 4 The One Pho is a cozy spot for a cold night in Austin! We ordered the Hot Stone Sliced Ribeye, the Sizzling Platter Ribeye, and the Bone Marrow Appetizer. I really loved the concept of the hot stone pho--the fresh noodles and broth served in the stone bowl kept the soup warmer much longer compared to the standard ceramic bowl. The ribeye dishes were flavorful and satisfying, and everything came out quickly thanks to their attentive service. My only feedback would be on the bone marrow appetizer. The first time it came out, it was cold, and the fat had solidified, which wasn't pleasant. I asked the server about it, and he confirmed it should have been warm. They immediately took it back and reheated it, but even then, there wasn't much marrow to spread across the four slices of toast that accompanied it. Overall, the food was delicious, the service was fast, and the hot stone pho concept is new to me. I'd return for the pho and sizzling ribeye, but I'd skip the bone marrow appetizer next time.

After searching the Austin metro area for the best pho, I've finally found it. The hot stone pho here is special. It is expensive, but it is worth every penny. What sets it apart is the complex, rich, deep umami broth. We had the Bone Marrow Hot Stone Pho and The One Pho Hot Stone Special. Both were incredible. I will say, though, for The One Pho Hot Stone Special, the beef rib & poached egg are nothing special. Just get the regular Wagyu Beef Hot Stone Pho instead for $10 less. The other pho had the bone marrow & bread with it which was very, very tasty. I will be back for the Bò Né Đặc Biệt, Hủ Tiếu, Cơm Sườn nướng, and Bánh mì. Lastly, a big surprise was how good the kumquat sugarcane juice was. Service was prompt & the server was polite. The restaurant was cozy, but nothing crazy. I did find the openness of the staff area to be very interesting. Overall, amazing food (but kinda pricey). 100% recommend to anyone looking for the best pho in town.

Went here for catfish springrolls (you have to order a day in advanced for them to prepare it for you) and it was amazing! I loved how they cooked the fish and there was plenty to eat for 5 people. We got the large size and it came out to be a little under $100. The staff was very friendly and asked us if we needed anything often while eating. I will definitely be back for this again and try their other dishes!

I was referred to The One Pho with the comment, it is the best place in town. The Pho chicken was good. I was asked if I wanted white, dark meat or both, which was a treat. The server was attentive. The ambiance was good a mixture of booths and tables. You could actually have conversations without yelling.

The food is great, but they need to change the website to reflect that they no longer serve alcohol.

The pho was fine but nothing really stood out. It tasted good enough but did not have that depth or richness that makes you crave pho again. The mi kho dry egg noodles were also pretty mid and honestly lacked flavor. It felt like something was missing and I kept wanting to add more to make it pop. I also got the brown sugar milk tea, which I actually really liked. It was very sweet, which worked for me, but some of my friends thought it was way too sweet for their taste. Definitely something to keep in mind if you prefer lighter drinks. You order at the counter and the food comes out pretty fast, which is nice when it is busy.
