This place absolutely exceeded my expectations with their vegan options. They have several including a vegan cheese board and vegan poutine, two of my favorite foods I miss being able to eat. The menu has plenty of options for everyone and you find a seat and order at the bar. The bartender was very sweet and chatted with us as they prepared our drinks. It has a dog friendly patio which was lovely and the inside is mostly open to the patio area if you'd like to enjoy the patio without actually being outside lol. The neighborhood bar vibe combined with an impressively varied and well executed menu makes me heartily recommend this spot, especially for vegans. I'll be back again with my dog for that vegan cheese board too!

Popped in here for a drink and appetizer before dinner while in Seattle. Super cute spot, great ambiance, kind bartender/server. Loved that it's dog friendly even inside! Zucchini bites were excellent and a large portion for the price - we got the vegan cheese plate which was interesting, likely would prefer the dairy version but they were out that day. The cider on tap was tasty as well, and clean bathrooms a big plus!

For a "neighbor", service sure is unfriendly. We came during happy hour on Thursday after a walk in the neighborhood. We were so excited to support a local establishment! Unfortunately, the red headed hostess's unkind attitude overshadowed the delicious fried zucchini we split. We sat and saw our meal sit in the window for 15 minutes. There were no customers at the counter nor any other sense of urgency in the parlor. After mustering up the courage to ask if that was our food, the same hostess snapped at us and said "I'm getting it in a minute." She then huffed and puffed and left the plate on our table with a bang. We both thanked her, and she strutted away with an eye roll. Never in my life have I regretted tipping 20% at a walk up counter! The food was cold but good. The last thing I want to do was negatively review a local small business, but this service is seriously hurting the customer experience

10/10 was there at least 4xs on my trip (Breakfast burgers/chicken sandwich/cheeseburger and chicken fired steak with eggs and sausage and gravy)

Great place for brunch on the weekend. Also a nice courtyard space in Africa Town for kids to get some energy out before eating. French Toast was a highlight!

It moved to a new spot, which bums me out, but whadya gonna do, Seattle ain't the same anymore. But in its new locale, it's fine. It retained some of the charm.

    A table in the corner.

The bartender next to us was incredibly friendly and offered excellent drink recommendations. The drinks are on the pricier side, but the quality, presentation, and overall atmosphere make it worth a visit if you're in the area. The bar staff were kind, attentive, and helped make for a great experience.

The space is elegant, unique, and lives up to the photos. I also want to recognize the manager, who was polite, professional, and kindly explained that reservations were required. I completely understand and respect that policy. Unfortunately, my interaction with the bartender before speaking with the manager was the complete opposite. As I tried to get her attention, I felt like she repeatedly looked at me with annoyance and made me feel unwelcome. Rather than simply explaining the reservation policy herself, she went to get the manager instead. She had a problem with Hispanics. She refused to engaged at all. The way I was treated left me feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed, especially as someone who was genuinely excited to visit. A beautiful venue can only go so far when the hospitality doesn't match. I would have happily accepted that reservations were required if I had simply been treated with basic kindness and respect from the start. I truly hope this was an isolated incident because the location itself is stunning, and the manager handled the situation professionally. Unfortunately, because of my interaction with the bartender I've added in the photos, I don't see myself returning. Sadly they have a Prejudice bartender.

Parking can be a wee bit tricky so waking, ride share, or public transit will be your best options. But if you have to drive we found a paid lot a few blocks away While this wasn't the best tiki bar we've ever been to, it did stand out for the presentation of drinks, the cool (and massive) octopus, the immersion, and overall vibe is nice and atmospheric They have four non-alcoholic options which I really appreciated as the one driving for the night! They also have standard as well as unique takes on tiki drinks. We were surprised to find so many options with vodka and tequila which isn't common in a more traditional tiki bar We had the: - "Kiki Premier Mai Tai" which wasn't as rum forward as we would have thought, especially given how many rums it had in it; but overall it was a classic style Mai Tai and tasty with quality rums - "One Eyed Willy" which has a fun presentation in a chest with smoking dry ice. This one you could taste the rum more and overall it was a really enjoyable drink and experience - "See A Light" which is a non-alcoholic option and the taste was just as good as the presentation. Came in a lovely angler fish tiki mug with the light and everything! The taste was complex and something that thought went into creating - "Four Boys" another non-alcoholic option that was the coolest visual as it came in a "steaming" crock pot. The taste was very unexpected, in a good way, and is a drink I would get again Overall the drinks were about a 4/5 but with the charming atmosphere and whimsical presentation it's a 5 star experience that is just fun

First and foremost, you need to make a reservation. I did end up needing to move my reservation up because of scheduling but it worked out and the staff were really nice about helping me. This is a speakeasy inside Rumba, I did not know that going in. It's incredibly cool to walk into the bar. The decor is amazing. It's super small though with a few tables and bar seating. It was kinda loud when I was there since most tables were filled. My server was nice as well and was able to answer all my questions. Ambiance was exceptional and is such a cool place to visit. Most of the cocktails came with fancy show of some sort and were extravagant - and equally delicious. I got The Inside Passage, but there were at least three others I was trying to chose from. There was a lot of thought that went into the presentation of each of the drinks and I love that attention to detail. Since it was around dinner time I did want to order food and drink. They did not have the Kikisoba (they ran out) and that made me sad, but I was able to order the Rumba sliders and a basket of fries. I'm not a huge sliders fan, and I did order the caramelized pineapple on the side. The sliders were incredibly flavorful and the perfect size. For anyone wanting to visit Seattle, I do highly recommend this place. It's a really cool vibe and the food is really good too.
