[[HIGHLIGHT]]There's always such a festive vibe here! I love the pirate theme and the fun retro TV shows playing behind the bar - it really adds to the atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They offer both indoor seating and a great outdoor party deck that overlooks the surrounding neighborhood.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I especially love the updated deck with its covered area and overhead heaters, which allowed us to hang out comfortably outside despite the rainy weather.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's the perfect spot to unwind after work or grab a quick lunch on the Hill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This spot is such a fun vibe! The drinks were really good! Trace is an awesome bar tender and made us such fun drinks, would come back for sure!!!

A dive bar with minimal indoor seating. There is a patio with heated space lamps above but it is still cold since the area is only partially covered by plastic. There will be some wind draft. The indoor seating fits about 10 people ( lowly lit place). Someone checked id's once we walked in. It wasn't that busy on a Friday night so drinks were made fast. The two gender neutral bathrooms were clean.

I can only speak to the drinks at this place, which were creative and tasty, but the menu wasn't very long. Both of the drinks were more on the bitter side, which I liked, but know that not everyone is into that. What really makes this place is the view from the back patio, which is incredible. The inside was also really cool and nautical themed. Loved the ambiance.

I love Captain Blacks, along with the sassy staff that works here, except the red head (she's rude AF). My friends and I come for the drinks, and we stay for the view. The patio is stunning, the drinks are yummy, and it's really the place to be on a sunny Seattle day. This is a locals spot, and I'd prefer all the tourists stay away, especially if they lack patience, although I understand, the staff could be better. I'd be open to giving this place 5 stars if they did the following things: added prices to their drink menu, and their staff became more attentive.

There is a wall of glasses in different sizes to suit your needs and over 50 beers, ciders, ales, kombuchas. Etc. on tap to explore at your own pace! They didn't have any food to purchase but they were making fresh popcorn available to munch and cleanse your palette for feee. We used the small tasting glasses to try a variety of their offerings and look forward to coming back for more! They have TV's so you can watch the game and the day we were there there was a painting class going on that had the whole room packed. So, if you're looking for a low key way to host a group where alcohol is available they are clearly a great option! Give them a try!

All the…read moreoutdoor tables were full when we arrived at 6, so we put our name on the list for inside and waited about 30 minutes. The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

Outside seating is first come first serve and inside seating you have to see a hostess. We started outside and saw someone leaving and circle them like vultures. We got lucky, it was 4th of July weekend, so it was busy! We ordered pizza for the table and for my toddler. It was really good! He loves the pepperoni. My order was the salmon burger. They used a good slab of coho, nicely seasoned with a aioli. The fries were crunchy and nice. I shared with my husband and it was just right, since we had a bunch of apps at the market. We also got a round of beers. Or in my case I got their hard seltzer, which wasn't too bad, I would probably just get a light beer next time. Service was great outside! Also you get the nice breeze, they also had heaters on top. Picnic style tables and quick service!

Came here the past couple Fridays to get my weekend started and closing out a work week. The…read moreambiance here is intimate and the music isn't too loud which is great while sipping some beers. There are several beers and some ciders on tap from all around and all the ipa's I've tried here have been pretty decent. from there you grab your brew and have a seat at high top tables within the tap room. Again, the setting is mid-sized good for a couple groups of four and a few two person tables. Music is at a decent volume and is lit dimly making it decent for a date spot or just a place to have conversation without raised voices. Fridges line the tap room so you can mix and match beers, ciders and wines to take out which is cool. I like Bottleworks, I want to enjoy it more, but there are some issues holding me to 3 stars. The staff are...alright. Not bad, but I feel could be a little friendlier. Also they don't allow sample pours? This is a common thing at most breweries, but maybe it's because this is a tap room, but beers run a bit higher here - $8-9 a pour so that's annoying that you can't even try a couple. Lastly, they rotate things out it seems weekly. Some of the more popular options I suppose they keep but seems like a lot of turn around on the drinks so if you like something they have on tap, don't get too attached. Perhaps on subsequent visits It will improve, and I can boost the score here, but besides the decent beers and setting, it's just OK here.

One of the best bottle shops in the country!…read more I've had many of Bottleworks' anniversary beers in the past because they always team up with stellar breweries to make them.. but before today I have never visited the famous shop. It's smaller than I imagined it to be but every beer inside, from the draft list to the cans and the bottles are carefully curated by the staff. We grabbed a quick beer (Hill Farmstead, which is the first time I've seen this brewery for sale in the since I started this trip 6 weeks ago and Ive been through 4 states) Then we shopped for some cans, we quickly had to refrain from buying too much as the refrigerator in our van only holds so much. We ended up with a six pack and then grabbed a mystery 4 pack on the way out (mystery 4 pack was stellar). While we're shopping they opened a sour from Jester King and shared it with us. I honestly wish I lived a bit closer (Las Vegas is kinda far) because I'd be here everyday... Honestly, they have a whole cooler just for barley wine! The staff are very knowledgeable about beer and are very hospitable. Thanks for a great experience!
