While the food was very good, the service and management was just so-so. Our waitress was nice, but the service was a bit slow. Management gave confusing information about discounts and seemed combative before I even asked a question. I particularly did not like that the gratuity was added on top of taxes. For a 20% gratuity for a large group of people, that was a big difference! We were also told that any leftover meats would be charged extra, even though we didn't order any extra. This is part of the original price per person. I just don't like the way they try to get more money out of you. The variety of food was good, however. The quality was good too. Just wish I could say that the overall experience was as good. read more

Such a great BBQ place, the meat selection is perfect, there are so many side choices and theres even ice cream at the end. The hot pot was also wonderful and the broth choices were so much better than other places I've been to. The service by the way was SO FUN, Anna was amazing and it made my table to excited everytime she would come by. Ana , an employee at The Moon is the best. Her service is top notch. Made my kids happy to come to the restaurant especially when she is here. She once gave me a sauce called the "Ana Sauce" and it tastes great and it compliments well with the bbq and hot pot. The sauce is sweet with a tiny kick. A lot going on. This spot has always been something interesting - a churrascaria back in the late 90s, then vacant for some time, then POC and now The Moon. Good amount of space for parties and family gatherings. I find it too busy when you get both hot pot and BBQ, but if you want to try a bit of everything, this is a solid spot. If you wanted KBBQ only, plenty of other AYCE places that will rank better. Service was good, but somewhat inconsistent probably due to some understaffing when we went during the holidays. BYOB if i recall correctly, so hit a wine shop nearby if it's still the case. read more

The ambiance, food selections from BBQ to HotPot are reasonable for their suggested pricing. I got to the restaurant as a walk in no reservation @ 8pm & was seated immediately; they were not busy & attended to me quickly. They have unlimited & all you can eat options from their good bar also hot food served buffet. The invisible noodles, fried rice, cold vegetables, fish balls, crab & lobster balls were delicious. Be careful with the Short Ribs, they're fatty & also their chicken portions on the bbq were skimpy. Order two. Overall food, service & ambiance is A+ I will be coming back. read more

He had many great suggestions because this was my parties first time here and all his suggestions were hits! Also, ask if Joe is here and ask for his special sauce! We've visited this restaurant four times now, and unfortunately, we'll never be returning. On our most recent visit, we were appalled to find at least three roaches on the floor and on our table. The food is decent for its price, but the cleanliness of the dining area is a reflection of the food preparation itself. Our server is very friendly and does apologize. read more

What an incredible experience, dining here with my friends last week! We were greeted so warmly immediately upon arrival, by the friendly staff. Not only was the food delicious and fresh, but our service was top notch too. Our server, Amanda, was so helpful, generous, and kind, and made our dinner one we will never forget. The manager took notice of the shirt I was wearing (featuring of my favorite groups), and they proceeded to make a playlist featuring that group's music! If you're looking for a place that tastes like pure inner booty cheeks, come to Moon. They have exceeded my expectations of a place providing food tasting exactly like doo doo. The food quality is bottom of the barrel horrible. It would be a crime to serve to animals. Service and people were absolutely wonderful. Very good customer service and hospitable employees. Food on the other hand was absolutely trash. Our group decided to do the Korean BBQ. The meat tasted like grilled mud. The grill was not hot enough. They give you your own personal hot pot, with a variety of spicy, vegetarian, and regular soups to choose from. Then theres a big buffet where you can choose everything and everything you want, which I love for hot pot. Our waiter was super nice and even gave us some tips for the soup, like telling us if it smokes a lot to turn it off. He was also really nice about our drinks and reminded us there was dessert. They have soft serve and crushed ice with bowls and cones. I originally tried the soft serve, but I did quickly realize that the chocolate syrup tasted too chemically for me and switched to what my mom was having, which was crushed ice and condensed milk, a classic, and it was so good and not to mention a rare find. I would definitely consider trying it even if you're a kid. The restaurant was big and a bit loud, but never too chaotic, and we got a nice booth even though we were just two people. read more

I had high expectations for this place and left extremely disappointed. We were seated in the back area despite most of the front tables being open, the back has zero ventilation and was full of smoke. The ordering process is very confusing and chaotic, the waitress was giving me anxiety attempting to change my order. We started with hot pot and the table filled up quickly. As the bbq meats arrived there was no room because our dirty plates were not taken away, they sat on the table for the duration of our meal until I finally moved them to another area myself. Our waitress put the bbq on the grill and then walked away, I had to tend to it myself as all of the meats burned. It seems that zero care was given because our party was more than 5 people and an automatic tip was guaranteed. It's a shame, we frequented the previous buffet often but will not be going back here. read more

Descent shabu-shabu, terrible barbeque. How do we enjoy korean bbq when 6 of us had to share bbq grill located in the center of 4 of us? What even worse was that our waitress didn't even know how to cook Korean bbq. She overcooked/undercooked different type of meats. The soup for shabu shabu was descent, especially the seaweed one. The vegetable buffet had enough variation and looked fresh. Meat was mehhh. Dessert, just stop by at ice cream place on the way home, unless you go to korean bbq for cookies. The ice cream machine was not working properly, ice cream was very watery. They advertised having bingshoo... Lol, it's ice shaver imo. Had no taste, and you had to put the flavor AFTER the ice was shaved. And finally for the nail in coffin, we purposely had reservation at 8:00 pm in this restaurant because we needed late dinner, and when we called they confirm that they close at 10:00 pm. However, at 8:45 pm we were informed that it was our last call. We had to grab what we needed then including dessert so they could clean up. When we asked why, she said because it was slow. I get it, but business also need to understand that we eat outside to have a good time and definitely not looking for being rushed. We complained abt it, and finally they said that they could give little more time. Finally, 9:15 she again informed us that this is really the last call. We obliged, grabbed whatever we needed including dessert which we would eat 20 mins later, and of course it melted. For the price range, there are plenty other much better ayce Korean bbq inthe area, or even cheaper. Not for us for sure. read more
