This place used to be a sushi buffet and they changed the owner. Now, it's a hotpot and Korean BBQ buffet. The food overall was pretty fresh. I do wish there were more spicy sauce options. BBQ tasted better than the hotpot. The service was good. I asked for water but the waiter brought a bottle water. I was hoping for tap water since I don't really drink beverages when I eat buffet. He said there's only bottled water then I saw tap water in the fridge which I thought it was not honest. The place is very pricy. The service was excellent and we were seated in five minutes. We ordered the hot pot and grilled meat that you cook on the grill yourself. It was way too much food for us. We each ordered one meat to share and we got up and picked the ingredients for the hot pot. There's clams, shrimp, octopus, calamari, noodles, and various greens. It was beyond too much. We should have skipped the hotpot and instead of one meat each for grilling. We should have ordered one meat for couple. We didn't touch the fried rice, it just didn't fit. The food was very good but you can't take home any uncooked meat that you already paid for. So it's best not to order what you can't eat. Sorry I have no pictures but my phone went dead. Overall OK. Waitress Ana was terrific and really helpful but the food was another story. I saw the reviews and thought this has to be amazing. The fish was not good. Do not get it. It's so rubbery and chewy. The meats overall were good but again quality varied. The best thing there was the vegetables. Mushrooms were great and the corn was delicious. I think a lot of people who come here don't realize what great Korean bbq is because this ain't it. Have been waiting for this place to open up and went for lunch in the middle of the week to check it out. My group went with all KBBQ so I can't speak for the taste/quality of the hot pot. The entire front-end has been redone and I can barely recognize the place from PoC. They've repurposed the buffet stations for the hotpot ingredients, various sauces and mix ins, and the banchan buffet. The interior looks fantastic and very modern. The location has plenty of tables that support both hot pot and KBBQ, though I did not see any tables that had more than a single grill per table. As far as price goes, it's on-par with similar KBBQ/hot pot places in the area but I don't feel the value is quite there. The variety of meats available isn't quite as much as other established restaurants and is pretty much just the essentials: beef belly, pork belly, beef brisket, top blade, beef bulgogi, etc. Galbi was limited to the dinner/weekend menu and there were only two spicy/marinated options. The quality of meats was average for an all you can eat place. Banchan at lunch was also just the essentials: fried and white rices, pickled radishes, japchae, and gyoza. Our server Joe was excellent, I was concerned coming in and not seeing a call button but he was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. He also made good recommendations on what to get and sauces to use with our food. He took this visit from average to four-star. Overall, I'm hoping this place finds their groove and is able to add more variety to their menu/buffet to compete with other places in the same price point, but was happy with the service and food we got. read more

I think the other low star reviews are being a little unfair. I went with my family and I thought the food and service were great. Both the hot pot and kbbq were delicious. I especially loved the desert bar that had its own Korean snow ice machine. You can tell they out A LOT of thought and care into this place. My only gripe (that I think is unfair to take a star away for) is that the experience is a bit overwhelming. Trying to manage BOTH hot pot and kbbq was a lot for me personally. I usually like one or the other. But for the person looking for both, this place is great! read more

Food was not bad for the price. Selection is on the skinny side for Korean but acceptable if you do not have a diverse desire for selections like intestines which, I wish they had. This is for BBQ but for hot pot their selection is huge from meats to seafood. So it makes up for it. Service was slow but they were slammed. The owner should know better next time. You should be served but not fawned on but you should also not be kept wondering why there is only one server for such a busy section. No stars off but next time I won't be so forgiving. Ambiance is typical AYCE. This used to be POC so I am aware of the lay out. It could be more spruced up but this is not the place for that. Went here for the first time for my mom's birthday. I didn't have high expectations for a place that sells both AYCE krn bbq and shabu shabu (hotpot) because I just can't see myself doing both at the same time. So I got the all you can eat hotpot and I was very impressed. Exceeded my expectations! I got the dashi broth for the soup base and I really liked it; it wasn't salty and it was flavorful. Also the taste of the dashi broth will thicken and burst with flavors once you add all your toppings. I usually like the spicy broth but the waitress recommended dashi which I'm thankful for! Also they have large variety of options- vegetables, tofu, noodles, fish cakes, japchae, dukbokki, shaved ice, fruits and much more. Udon goes perfectly with hotpot, make sure you get some! The meat was fresh!! I wonder if it's prime meat because it tasted like it. Shabu house was my go to but I will start going here more often because it's closer to my house. Only con is that I did not like their house sauce, it was way too salty. I just ate mine without sauce and still was yummy. Service- 4/5 the ahjimmas were so sweet and attentive however this place is HUGE. Only one waitress was allowed to serve us it seems like because when we needed something and tried to ask a diff server, we got ignored. I suggest that since this restaurant is big, it should be okay for multiple waiters to help out tables, especially big parties like ours. Overall I will be coming back! read more

My wife and I came here to try a new spot. We only had the k bbq but we're incredibly disappointed in the quality and quantity. From a price point this was not worth it for an all you can eat with limited meat selections. When you went to the area to grab other items for your plate you were limited again to a minimal amount of choices. We were not impressed and the food quality was nothing to rave about. Lastly the k bbq grill plate we had initially was dirty. Upon grilling, black burnt areas were coming off the grill. This should not have been the case if the grill was cleaned thoroughly. read more

While the food was very good, the service and management was just so-so. Our waitress was nice, but the service was a bit slow. Management gave confusing information about discounts and seemed combative before I even asked a question. I particularly did not like that the gratuity was added on top of taxes. For a 20% gratuity for a large group of people, that was a big difference! We were also told that any leftover meats would be charged extra, even though we didn't order any extra. This is part of the original price per person. I just don't like the way they try to get more money out of you. The variety of food was good, however. The quality was good too.
