I have not been here since I was a kid. Not sure why. But I am so glad my family said hey let's eat here. The food is very very good. They make hotdogs deep fried - rippers. Yep. And they make them right. I had a chargrilled burger that was fantastic. Fresh. Juicy. Bun delicious. French fries were crispy and yummy. Free soda refills. Coleslaw on the side was very good. So happy I rediscovered Cubbies.

A full rack actually means a full rack here. You know it is going to be good the moment you do a small little tug and the bones comes out clean. Only problem i had was the garlic bread not really flavorful. Since its not the star, im not deducting a star for that. I know people have different preferences for bbq, so this is the wet type.

Food and Great service. Sandwich and burger are on larger size. Took half of it home

Great customer service. Clean and fast. We hot dogs, fries, chicken tenders, pulled chicken, sweet potatoe fries and sangria, which was very good. Inside and outside seating. The lady helper was very nice and attentive. Sorry was starving and forgot to take pictures of the food. lol

Watch out for all the extra fees. Cut in 3 pieces for $1 fee is wild

Ordered a full sized pulled pork sandwich on garlic bread - a bit pricey for what it is... Watch out for extra fees. When he asked if we wanted onions, said sure, didn't know it was an additional $1. When he asked if we wanted it cut into 3 pieces, said sure, didn't know that would be an extra $1 charge as well... cause we sure didn't need it to be cut at all if they charged for that. Long story short, don't get bamboozled like we did. Felt a bit too saucy and mediocre for the price and what it was, but maybe I didn't enjoy it as much cause I was salty about all the unexpected extra fees.

I heard about how good the ribs are from one of my Coworkers. Amazing Ribs, I could not help myself to finish them as soon as I started eating them. The owner came out as I was ordering, and was a pleasant person to chat with while waiting. I can't recommend this place enough! The Cajun Mac n cheese as well as the ribs were absolutely excellent. I'll be back again!

It's not cheap, $30 for a half rack of ribs. Had delivery that was quick and simple even though the fries were completely soggy by the driver 5 min away, I don't blame them for that but you may want to eat those in person. They do have fee on Uber to deliver. Sweet potato fries were too mushy so I'll leave that to someone else to review who eats them in person. The garlic bread pulled pork sandwich was good if you like ketchup flavored barbecue sauce, it's not too smoky but is overly sweet and salty. After reading other reviews I even asked for less sauce... but not sure if that was managed (wouldn't be surprised if they had it already pre-sauced beforehand since it was fairly evenly distributed and not just one on side), but I have definitely had better. And anything extra topping you want, including cheese or other toppings is all an extra charge. You can change the bread from the plain to garlic without fee.

Garden Salad - A black bowl filled with a mixed salad containing lettuce, cucumber slices, tomato pieces, and green olives, placed on a wooden table.

Really good food, especially the garlic bread which was awesome, and great service. The menu selection is great with something for everyone. The women behind the counter and in front cleaning tables are very friendly and respectful toward customers. Ambiance is fine for the type of establishment; it's been here for years. As for the sangria, not worth the money. Unlike other sangrias elsewhere, this one had no visible fruit in it. I think the sangria is made of concentrated juices.

First stop was to the men's room. It smelled like summer camp (not in a good way). The staff is very friendly and efficient with a large fun looking menu. The mac 'n cheese was really good but it was downhill after that. The sliced steak sandwich was greasy and tasteless. The ribs were borderline boring. Expensive too. Perhaps this is why no one else was in the place for a Saturday lunch. If I return, it will be for the hot dogs but there are plenty of other places for them.

6 Piece Buffalo Wings, Cajun Mac N Cheese - A restaurant table features buffalo chicken wings, macaroni and cheese, celery sticks, and various side dishes, with drinks and condiments.

I came here for lunch with a group of 7 on a Sunday. You order/pay at the counter and seat yourself. I got the 6 pc buffalo wings and a side of mac & cheese. I ordered the regular mac & cheese but the employee put in cajun. At first, I didn't really mind enough to ask for it to be fixed. But I kind of wish I had gotten the regular because the saltiness of the buffalo wings + the saltiness from the cajun seasoning was too much sodium for me. The wings looked quite small, especially for the price. It also comes with celery, blue cheese, and extra buffalo sauce on the side. I'd like to come back to try other menu options, but I wasn't super impressed with my first experience here.

I've heard comparisons between Marty's patties and those of Five Guys, and I can see why. They're fresh rather than frozen, and they're thin enough to approximate a smashed burger with those occasional bits of char while still maintaining enough heft that you can taste the beef. Their build-your-own burger menus are also similar, with plenty of free toppings to choose from. But I would argue that Marty's offers a fuller range of toppings from diverse cheese options to more premium ones like fried eggs, bacon, and avocado. I tried two of their signature burgers, and while the Swiss mushroom dijon was a hit with my husband (he pointed out the visible mustard seeds in the dijon sauce), the bacon avocado was the clear winner in my book. It not only had bacon that was texturally perfect (crispy and densely packed atop the patty), but also picture-ready slices of avocado. For that to come out of a fast food restaurant kitchen within a matter of minutes? Color me impressed. The banana pudding is dynamite. I'm usually neither a fan of banana nor puddings because those things combined just sound like mush. But here, the pudding is more of a whipped, airy texture, and I believe it when the lid says 'made fresh' because there were chunks of banana nestled in every bite. I admit it might not be much to look at, but I was hooked after a single spoonful (I'm actually greedily scraping the bottom of the container as I type this review). The restaurant has a diminutive dining space (I counted four two-tops at most), but it feels super cozy and casual. I took my food to go and found nothing had deteriorated - in flavor, temperature, or texture - during my drive home because everything is well packaged. There's paid street parking available, but this area of Hackensack is pretty dense so you might have to circle around for a bit before finding a spot.

The fries were nice and I enjoyed them both but I think I liked the Truffle Parmesan more--I'm a sucker for all things truffle. The poutine was surprisingly good too though. I wish the gravy were a little thicker but it was hot enough that it caused the cheese curds to get nice and melty. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other offerings.

Everything else, you grab at the buffet - including seafood, fish balls, veggies, and noodles. The BBQ items are just okay, but that tends to be the case with you have hot pot + BBQ.
