Our food came out promptly and was piping hot. Loved that! The wall was decorated with old newspaper articles but the best thing was the addition of all the teams who are in the FIFA World Cup so awesome. The food was very tasty the only thing that I can say was not to my liking was that the baked potato was overcooked but everything else was really good for BBQ. The other thing was it was a tad bit pricey for a BBQ spot but we did get a substantial amount of food that we had to take home because there was too much to eat there. Lunch for work tomorrow thanks Cubby!

Staff is friendly and gave me free tap water. I ordered the bbq chicken platter with mashed potatoes and gravy. The mashed potatoes and gravy were good, but I wouldn't come here just for that. Garlic bread was hard and didn't taste like garlic. Chicken was cooked well, but the sauce was VERY sweet with zero hints of smokiness. What a disappointment. I tried my dining partner's pulled pork, and it was the same sickly sweet sauce. The Mac and cheese was 10000% Kraft Mac and cheese. Also the menu had no brisket, which you could find at even an average bbq place. Although it's difficult to find decent bbq in this area, I would not recommend Cubby's.

Well, today was the day. And I was not disappointed. It is a very small location, jampacked with a sensory overload of the amazing food that's being cooked there. Not sure what I should order, I decided to go with the classic: AUSTIN CHO 1.0 (BEST SELLER!) which is simply Beef Brisket, BBQ Sauce, Kimchi, Remoulade on Roll that was accompanied by Kimchi Slaw. I asked @robertaustincho what I should order the next time I visit, and he highly suggested the pork belly and rice. Looking forward to the next time I visit Yum. 163B Main St, Hackensack, NJ Check them out @austinchokitchen

This is as close to home cooking as there is. It's well-worth a try. Their menu is enormous and…read moremost of it is really good. Customers are spoiled for options. Their baked goods appear to be made from scratch by someone. The offerings are not consistent. The catfish is exceptional, for instance, but the short ribs and meatloaf were bland and likely purchased from a cafeteria purveyor which they merely reheat. The collards and cabbage are wonderful but once or twice, too heavily handed with salt. Given the cost of food lately, their prices have risen accordingly. What used to be a relatively reasonably priced, nutritious and satisfying meal may have become only an occasional, rather than regular treat.

We had stir-fried spicy octopus & pork belly and marinated pork - both with a choice of stew. Both were excellent. The spicy octopus & pork belly was seasoned well - probably too well and enough sauce to go with the rice. A bit too spicy for me. Marinated pork was also well marinated - not too sweet and not overwhelming. All of their dishes are served on bronze dishes, rather than white plastic ones, and gives you the feeling of being in a fancy restaurant!!!! Parking is limited during dinner time, but you will have no problem during lunch time. We used to come right after the King Sauna spa for dinner, and this place can be crowded and loud .... Parking can be tricky as that area usually is, so beware of that. I went to Moo and Oink on a weekend night and I was seated right away. Be aware that the meal can get pricey depending on what you order, but everything was delicious. I loved the vegetables- I think I could eat them alone! My favorite meats were the short rib and the rib eye. Meats were very tender and flavorful. I did not try the chicken, but I did try the thin sliced pork belly. It was good, but if I come again I would probably just eat meat. I also tried the marinated sliced sirloin but did not care much for it as it was mostly onions.

He was going back and forth to so many tables and still having convos with everyone. Shout out to JoJo! You can do hot pot, kbbq, or both. It's also byob, so that's great. They provide the same cups as all the other drinks. Limited slushies from their machine. However, my favorite section of this place is their banchan and other hot foods selection. There's marinated wings, japchae, kimbap, stews, stirfry, tteokbokki, etc. For dessert, there's soft serve and bingsu! FYI, they don't have those large vents usually above the tables during kbbq, so make sure you're not going anywhere afterwards that minds you smelling like bbq. Located in a shopping area, so plenty of parking! Definitely will be visiting again!

Neither of us tried the Moon yet so we decided to check it out. I was able to easily make a reservation via Yelp for 6 people for 12:30 (4 adults + 2 toddlers). For the most part, we already knew what we wanted to order, so we placed an order for the BBQ items and hot pot meats first. Only the meats are the items you need to order. Everything else, you grab at the buffet - including seafood, fish balls, veggies, and noodles. The BBQ items are just okay, but that tends to be the case with you have hot pot + BBQ. The hot pot beef was good but the lamb was super gamey, which turned my broth into a gamey lamb flavor, making everything else I cooked in there have a trace of that too. Bottom line - skip the lamb. As for the buffet, they have a lot of options. Aside from the typical hot pot items, they also have some Korean dishes like kimbap, japchae, kimchi, as well as some fried items. I don't think I liked the Moon enough for a return trip. It's also slightly pricier than other hot pot + KBBQ spots, so I think I'll check out some of the other ones next time.
