Smash burgers are also great here. Very hard to beat. Happy hour great too. Great service. Angie was awesome!

This location of the Croft is at the LBX. If you haven't been there already, it's basically a large food court with lots of seating. The atmosphere is nice for a food court, but let's get into the food. I got a kroft chicken sandwich that was supposedly spicy because it had jalapeños in the slaw ( I had the option to make it more spicy for an extra dollar or two). I thought the sandwich came with fries, it did not. Fries were around $4.60 and they were not worth it. The fries were soggy and dry, it felt like they had been sitting around for a few hours. The sandwich was delicious, but not spicy at all. I definitely felt like I was being nickeled and dimed because they did not have basic ketchup or any sauces to offer with my fries, and they wanted me to pay extra for my "spicy sandwich", which should have been spicy in the first place. For a small cup of sauce, it was $.35. Which is fine for speciality sauces, but I just wanted ketchup. they didn't even have basic ketchup to offer, like any other restaurant/burger place. So I'm taking away two stars because this place is known for poutine, which is basically fries and gravy and their fries sucked. And because I felt that I was being nickeled and dimed, even though the cost of the items on their menu was already expensive compared to other burger spots in the same food court. read more

We love the Kroft smash burgers but the Mac n cheese is soooo disappointing. This is the second time I've ordered it and it's so watery and lacks any flavor. The photos make it seem creamy but it came how my photo looks. Watery, plain, and not a bacon panko crumble in sight. We'll survive, just warning anyone else who thinks it will be good. Cheese curds and the birria eggrolls are a better side option for sure read more

Great food and great service. Recommend checking them out. Poutine fries are the go-to order.

We went to the Hangar to look around and we past by this place called the kroft, they serve poutines and sandwiches, we waned to get a quick snack to share and decided to get the loco moco loaded fries, it consisted of a fried egg, cut up onion rings, two beef patties, gravy and cheese curd. The overall quality of the food was really good, not too salty the gravy was spot on the they had really great cheese pull on the fries, the patty was a bit thin but did taste great. The service there was pretty good, the worker was nice attentive and made sure we knew what we wanted. They did take quite a while for our food to be made despite them not being really busy. The ambiance was overall clean but is busy due to it being in a food court with other restaurants. Overall, inside the restaurant itself was clean. They do have two other locations, one in Anaheim and one in West LA. I would come back here again if i was in the area and craving a poutine. read more

The KROFT is located at the LBX in Long Beach( front entrance to the left) I ordered a Wagyu Smashburger with fries no drink.. The burger was decent, but the fries weren't good. I'd rather have had 2 burgers. I got cheese on the burger with a brioche bun, which was great ; Customer Service was mediocre overall 7 out of 10. The space to eat was clean and tidy. read more

I really enjoy the poutine, you can really find a place that sells poutine. Def worth the try!

Never a bad experience here, the burgers are ridiculously flavorful and I love the consistency. My goddaughter makes me take her here at least once a month and we gobble the spicy jack up! The happy hour is great if you get lucky to swing by between 3-6 M-F &&&& the prices in general aren't bad---definitely worth it! read more

Great happy hour!! Beers and sides are half off making it really reasonable if just coming to snack. Highly recommend the cheese curds with marinara and ranch! As well as the French onion smash burger. read more

The Kroft is one of the only places that sell a porchetta sandwich. It's disappointing that they aren't able to execute it well. Looked forward to having this sandwich for lunch today but was basically inedible. I took a few bites and was bombarded by an incredibly bitter and putrid taste in my mouth. At first I thought it was somehow just the arugula being bitter. Upon opening the sandwich, there lie the problem. Majority of the porchetta was overcooked and blackened. I've had the sandwich before a couple years ago and didn't have this problem. The garlic fries and cheesesteak were both just alright too. read more

Delicious food, friendly staff . Megan was so nice, fast and efficient. Greeted with a smile even though they were busy.

We were in Long Beach for a cruise. The hotel we were staying in recommended we go to the hanger since there were lots of choices for dinner. After looking around at all our options at the hanger we decided to eat here at The Kroft. There is a nice eating area outside and the weather was perfect! The hanger was a very busy place. It is a fast food restaurant. You walk up and place your order. The menu is simple but has a variety to choose from. The customer service was good. We opted for: the Beef Melt $12.95; Chili Mac N Cheese $5.45; and Wagyu Smash Burger Combo with Fries $17??? Not sure of the price. Everything was really delicious and served very quick! We do recommend this place. Not sure if we will be back to the Long Beach area, but if we did, we would probably est here again. read more

Spotted a special BOGO on National Poutine Day on their Social Medias. When we arrived and showed them the post, the cashier had no idea about the special. Mind you, it was around 4pm so it's been a whole day & apparently nobody redeemed this special. Anyway, after she had to call her manager on the phone to confirm special, she gave it to us. I feel like their workers should've been informed about the special as it creates an unnecessarily awkward moment for them & for us. I don't blame the workers at all. Overall, though, they were friendly and helpful. Their food is good & pretty much what one would expect of poutine--crispy french fries with various toppings. I had the Japanese Katsu Curry and it was delicious. The sauce was savory sweet, crispy pieces of chicken, and breaded and regular cheese curds. All worked together as it should. The Chicken Parm poutine is also a good one to try. I feel like any of the flavors would've been a good choice. And portions are large too & you're definitely full afterwards. Located in the Hangar food hall so of course it has that vibe...plenty of eating areas, free parking all around. It can get crowded depending on the day. Recommend. read more

My boyfriend and I went to the Valentines vendor event at the Hanger, and we decided to try The Kroft. I ordered the Wagyu beef smash burger (combo w/ drink and fries) and the burger was great, I think it was well cooked and flavorful. Fries were nothing special, a bit bland. My bf ordered the cheese steak sandwich... I regret going here based on his experience. His sandwich was really odd. Lacking in cheese-steakness. The meat and cheese were dripping in grease and onions were WAY too charred (you can also see this in the photo). He finished maybe 65% and called it quits. My bf will eat anything, and I was really surprised that he couldn't even finish it. His stomach was bothering him the whole rest of the day. Overall this place didn't meet expectations. I think that the cheesesteak could be improved. Service was nice, but overall not it. read more

We got the Loco Moco poutine fries and they were a lot bigger than I expected. I loved that it had a lot of gravy to coat the fries. I was also surprised that the meat wasn't dried. As for the service, even though the line was long I think it went by fast. The food came out within 10 minutes of me ordering. They also text you through the app. read more

Super solid burgers! I got the wagyu smash burger for a mukbang video I was doing and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I did however eat it when I got home so it wasn't too hot which skews my experience but I can definitely take the quality coming from the meat for a smash burger. I need to come back to try the poutine! They also have a spicy ketchup that I'd recommend adding to the burger as it's something I've never tried before! Thanks! 7.9 mukbang up @maarrjack read more

For our weekly lunch, my best buddy and I, drove on over to "the hanger" in Long Beach. If you haven't been here it is a very pleasant open indoor space stuffed with dining options. We were intrigued by the menu of our destination. The combination of real Poutine and Wagu Smashburgers was so over-the-top! We were not disappointed. The burger was unctuous and indulgent rich and messy. The poutine was the perfect combination of crispy fries, gravy and cheese curds. I had the chicken parm sandwich which was equally delicious. The service was friendly and fast! The food was made-to-order! We can't wait to go back to the hanger and try another option! read more

This place is in the hangar and I really enjoy some of their poutine! My personal favorites are the country fried chicken and the chicken katsu curry poutines! Their service is pretty quick and the portions for their poutine and some of their sandwiches are fairly generous. One box of poutine usually fills me up. It can be quite busy as this is a pretty popular spot and there's a bunch of other food stalls in the building. Although every time I've went so far, I didn't have to wait long to order and didn't struggle too much to find seating! read more

Located in the The Hanger at LBX, the Kroft serves up a great version of poutine...hearty, large, and very satisfying. My wife and I were in the Hangar food hall to check out a different restaurant, and needed to find something my wife would enjoy. I hadn't done much pre-reading, so didn't really know what to expect (I had a vague thought that a Filipino-inspired restaurant was here, but must have gotten it confused with a different food hall). So I was walking around, looking at menus, until I came the Kroft's, serving 'Loaded Fries". We had visited Vancouver earlier this year, and had found some great variations of Canada's 'National Dish'. The common ingredients in a poutine are the french fries, brown gravy, and cheese curds. Prices were very reasonable, and had some interesting variations. I ended up choosing the Braised Beef ($13.95). After paying, I was asked for a cell number which would get paged once the poutine was ready for pick-up. They make it fresh, so took about 10 minutes....they saw me waiting, so just called me over as soon as it was ready...nice personalized service. The poutine was really good. The french fries were 'chip' style (thicker than shoestring but thinner than steak), and there was plenty of it. The beef was the kind in pot roast, very tender. It also had a lot of cooked, fresh mushrooms, and pickled red onions (which I like separate but not as part of this dish). The brown gravy was different than what you would make from a jar or from a seasoning packet, more like what the drippings from preparing the pot roast would yield (for me, the more typical brown gravy would have been better in this dish). It was easily enough for the the two of us (we didn't want to take any home since it's not really a dish the reheats well). There were other variations I would like to try as well. For me now, if family or friends want poutine, we know where to go. read more

Im in this area often and I love the Hangar because there are so many food options. I decided to try something new this time around, The Kroft, which is located in the left corner of the Hangar if you enter from the front. They have a pretty decent menu ranging from burgers and sandwiches to poutines and specials. There's also a wide selection of drinks, both alcoholic and nonalcoholic. I know they specialize in poutine here but their burgers looked too good to pass up! I got the double wagyu cheeseburger and made it a combo with garlic aioli sauce on the side for the fries. I was disappointed when I got home to find that they forgot to give me the garlic aioli . Nonetheless, the food did not disappoint. The wagyu burger was amazingly cheesy and beefy! Each bite brought so much joy -- it hit all the right spots while not feeling so heavy for a burger. The fries were pretty good too I just wish I had my sauce with it! I know it was an accident though because the person who rang me up was super sweet and kind. Service was really quick! I'd recommend giving this place a shot if you're not sure where to start in the Hangar. read more

On the greasier end, but what can you expect for a gut-buster like The Kroft? I've visited the Anaheim location a couple of times and tried LB's last weekend. This place is delicious. Their sandwiches are amazing. It's the perfect lunch spot or dinner. It has a market vibe because it's located in a food court environment. Indoor and outdoor seating. They have a great pork dip sandwich, chicken parm sandwich and practically anything you order is delicious. When you order, your order will be notified through a text. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out. read more

Got a burger, fries, and the Mac and cheese. This food is advertised wayyyy better than what it actually is. The Mac and cheese just looks like boiled noodles and taste like that. There is no cheese whatsoever and it really was a disappointment opening that container considering it was $6. They also charged us extra for the side of sauce when the worker said it was free with the combo. read more

Had a really good cheese steak here, don't get me wrong a cheese steak is good just about anywhere but the fact that they added garlic and it really improved an already great sandwich makes me want to drive down there again. But the real star was the classic poutine fries. I'm not Canadian so I don't have a lot of options of getting poutine so I was happy to find the Kroft. Since it was at the hanger the service was walk up, but they take your number and will page you when your meal is ready and it was quick which is was nice as I was hungry. The hanger is crowed and loud so if the weather is nice it is best to sit outside. read more

The Kroft never disappoints! First time I had it was when they first opened in the Anaheim Packing District. Went to this location and it's seems like they haven't missed a beat through all the years and it keeps getting better. The Braised beef is on point as usual and is a must try! But the show stopper was the smash burger! Easily one of the best I've had! If you're debating whether to try it or not, stop reading and just order! read more

Best chili cheese fries ever! My go-to spot for food at The Hangar!! It is always a must!!!!

I got the chili cheese fries and the wagyu burger they were amazing I highly recommend

Chicken Parm sandwich was the best I've had from the first to last bite. No soggy bread for the win! Lovely toasted bread and crisp chicken cutlet (made in-house). Staff and owner were very personable and welcoming. The owner even asked what our favorite item. (chicken parm). My friend really liked the cheese steak sandwich too. Braise beef poutine was good. Large portion-totally shareable. Also, could be a meal in itself. *note to self* If you like crispier fries ask for it to be twice fried Foodie happy dance made an appearance read more

The smash burger here is to die for. Great service and friendly people. It's located in the LBX which always has a great vibe.

I ordered the Wagyu smash combo with drink. $16.49 with tax. First off ordering was fast and easy so service was great. My order was ready pretty quick and the food was hot. There was plenty of seating outside and the ambiance was nice. Now as far as the food was concerned it was not great. I guess for the price I paid I was expecting to be wowed. I was not. The burger was bland and so were the fries. The burger needed seasoning and there was little sauce. I did not enjoy the burger combo. The fries didn't even have salt or any seasoning. I would not order this again. The three stars are for the service and ambience. read more
