Nice day for lunch outside
Jessica S.

There's street parking as well as a municipal lot with a kiosk for paying. There's indoor seating as well as outdoor on the corner of Darby and Brookline. We were able to sit outside. There were many options on the breakfast and lunch menus as well as the specials. I decided on the Kettle Rancheros and my husband had the fried chicken sandwich. I had a cup of hot tea which my server refilled without me even asking. Everything was delicious. The people were friendly. They do not have Coke products. I think we'll be back again to try more of the delicious options!!

Some kinda scramble

Honestly I don't know how this place isn't more popular. It's legit the best brunch spot in the neighborhood. The staff are nice and hardworking, and it honestly has one of those small-town diner vibes even though the restaurant itself is kinda modern. It's homey, but the menu items have some flair that make it worth coming out for. I got some kinda scramble and it was great. Pretty sure there was pesto in it. And spinach. Anyway who cares, it was delicious. I also got coffee, which is bottomless and they make sure to keep their promise. I had to practically snatch my cup away from the waitress. But wow that is some high quality coffee that I really appreciate. As someone who's always looking for good food in the Eastern Delco/Monto/etc area, definitely check this place out if you're around.

Nice to drop the contacts and go to 4 eyes on a day off

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. These five are just for the corned beef hash. Some of the best I've had. Tender, seasoned well, full of onions and potatoes. My server (Marie ... who recommended and was deserving of 5 stars herself), brought out salt, pepper, hot sauce. No need . The flavor was already there. The La Colombe coffee was brewed perfectly (coffee could get 5 stars too), and Marie was sure to keep my cup full and warm. Oh, and they have a counter (5 stars for that too... lol). Maybe it's because I'm just some ole blue collar worker, but I've always felt more comfortable at counters and bars, than I have in a table or booth. Everything that came from the kitchen looked great and can't wait to try them again.... However, they had me at the corned beef hash

I've heard so many positive things about this place, I decided to give it a try. Stopped by on a Monday morning, it was not yet 8am, but it's already open. I ordered coffee and omelette, my friend ordered eggs & toast, a side of beef hash and coffee. The food came fairly quick. The presentation of the food is nice. However, the food was really just ok. It's tasteless and bland. My friends food was ok too. I think it's because of COVID, they might have increased price, which I understand. But for the price I pay and the food I got, no, I won't come back. The service is good, the restaurant looks clean with outdoor seating. It was my first but also last visit.

The Kettle Omelet. Scallion mashed potatoes, bacon, cheddar, and sour cream. SO delicious!

Rarely do you ever find a restaurant with take out food as good as dine in. BUT The Kettle continues to nail it. Ordered take out from here over the weekend and was blown away with how kind the woman on the phone was. She was just as pleasant in person. Pancakes were outstanding and the kettle omelet was just as good as it's been every time I've dined in. Give this place a shot! Great service, great food, and small business owned. Love them!

This restaurant is awesome. Great for breakfast, and I'm sure it's the same for lunch. One negative, they don't take American Express.

I had the BLT with avocado and every part of the meal was excellent. The toasty bread was crisp and had a really nice texture; the egg was cooked just how I asked; the bacon a perfect balance of crisp and chewy. I asked for an extra side of avocado (I'm all about getting my fiber) and it arrived at the peak of perfect ripeness. The home fries were tender and savory. Also my cappuccino was delicious. The dining area was very clean and had a faintly rustic feel. The bathroom was also sparkling clean. I was in and out in less than 40 minutes, too, but never felt rushed. There were plenty of vegetarian options. I'm not too sure about it if you have to avoid dairy or gluten; the menu has a lot of that. Handicap access was pretty good: no steps to get in and out of the place. Honestly I can't wait to visit here again!

She gave great recommendations and made the experience even better. Interestingly, both visits we had the same server, and she was consistently kind and welcoming each time. Food: 8/10 The food was very good. On my first visit, I wasn't a huge fan, but the second time was much better. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and my friend really enjoyed her meal as well. I would definitely recommend the food. Ambiance: 8/10 The restaurant has a cozy feel. It's a small space, so it can get a bit loud when it fills up, but the bathroom was very clean, which I appreciated. Overall Experience: A- Great food and a great experience overall. If you're looking for a quick breakfast spot with family or friends, this is a perfect choice. The staff is friendly, the food is good, and the atmosphere is cozy.

This was around 11 am on a Monday and the restaurant was pretty full. I ordered the honey butter pancakes, the carrot juice and scrambled eggs. Order to table was probably abot 10-15 minutes. Obviously, the pancakes brought me in and they are DELICIOUS. The portion is huge and very intense, as it is doused and swimming in honey butter and has the sweet compote on top. Its amazing, but definitely a lot. Brought home more than half and it will take me a couple of days to get through it. If you do not have an extreme sweet tooth (I do), these aren't for you. The juice was great-very fresh tasting and not overly sweet. Scrambled eggs are a simple dish, but these were the standout for me because I asked for them scrambled soft and they actually were! Never happens anywhere. Props to the cook! Plus, the eggs weren't seasoned. Just eggs and cheese which I love. I like my eggs to taste like eggs. I will 100% return. Can't wait to try other menu items. I deducted one star due to overall cleanliness. There was some food on my chair and a lot on the floor around my feet. Not a deal breaker, but just slightly off putting for me.

I was looking for a good…read morebrunch place around Villanova area and although this is outside the town, it was an easy commute. This was probably the best breakfast/brunch I've had in a very long time. The service was immaculate. They do not do reservations but if you go early enough, you can get a seat. My wife and I shared the full stack pancakes, and I had the breakfast burrito while she had the chicken waffles (plenty of leftovers). The star of the show were the pancakes. Now I've had a ton of pancakes in my day and make pancakes every single weekend but these were the best pancakes that I've ever had (on the record). I will be going back to this location every time I come back to Pennsylvania.

Sabrina's has been on my brunch places to try for a long time. I chose the Wynnwood location…read morebecause it was one with a shopping center and easier to find a parking place. We went on a Monday around 12pm. It was busy, but we were seated right away. Our waiter (Zacharius) was very nice. He helped my daughter decided between sweet and savory. She decided on Chicken and Biscuits (savory). Little did we know, it was a new item on their menu. It took a little longer to prepare. She didn't mind the wait if it was going to be good. Unfortunately it wasn't as good as anticipated. She said it tasted ok but the chicken was overcooked and the gravy was too thick. She let them know, and they seemed glad for the advice. The waiter said he would let the chef know so he could improve it. I decided on the Brioche French toast w/ strawberries. A side of scrapple and coffee. The French toast just tasted like toasted brioche bread (unfortunately). The syrup did the heavy lifting along with the strawberries to make it good. My advice would be to dip it in the batter (if there was any) longer to give it more flavor. I will not get that again! The coffee was pretty good. I also ordered a side of scrapple. Not telling my age......but I've been around for a while! Never in my life have I ever seen scrapple stand up (see photo). It was hard! Crispy like a potato chip! I was surprised that they had the nerve to serve it to me! I did break a piece off, because I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Then I sent it back! I rarely send food back, but this was unexceptable. I must say they soon came back with some properly cooked scrapple. It tasted fine! Lastly, they have metal chairs. The chairs are very uncomfortable. Not sure if this is so you don't stay too long or not, but if that's the strategy....it works! I really don't like to give bad reviews. I try my best to find the positive if I can. Unfortunately this wasn't a very good first vist to Sabrina's for me, but they're staff was very nice and pleasant. The atmosphere and decor (except the hard chairs) was nice as well! That's why they get 2 stars. I will try another location sometime in the future and definitely order something else.
