Quality food products and casual calm venue. I tried to come in Tuesday 8 AM and the place was closed even though their hours were 7-3 pm that day on the door and online. I figured I'd try Sat morning and they were open but no mile high du jour. I am being a bit picky because not as many specialty items are available now with all the craziness of 2020 and shipping and delivery issues. While this specialty item is on their website, it was not posted in the cafe appropriately so. It was still a slight disappointment nonetheless. Probably 4 star experience for most people. The vibes I got personally were a bit different for me for this experience. This cafe is connected with Di Fabio's and I tried to call them Tuesday morning/afternoon . Left a VM and never heard back through Sat. In-person, they told me they aren't open Tuesdays now or possibly later (at random implied). They indicated that they still need to update their opening sign on the doors. :/ Their seafood soup special isn't overly soupy and filled with good content. It didn't stand out for me being the casual foodie critic I am but it certainly did not disappoint. They also have shirts, assorted bakery, and bottles and a few drink machines w levers (punch or lemonade today). My receipt for take out items was thrown away and I didn't want to ask for receipt since it was already thrown away. I like to keep track of my purchases more astutely and there wasn't emailed receipts either. Parent store DiFabio's has some famed pistachio chicken fingers. They also offer pistachio chicken fingers/tenders here. Maybe next time. . . Friendly staff.

Both iced lattes were super watery. Not good. Also specifically asked for 16 Oz lattes and got 20oz lattes and was charged for 20oz. They forgot what I ordered so I had to remind them. Inside seating is dark. Outside seating is better if the weather is nice. Basic Breakfast sandwich is more expensive than other places and not worth it.never coming back. Over charged me and bad coffee.

I have to say right off the bat that when I saw a pork roll, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel was $7, my first thought was that it was a little high. Then I saw it in my hands. It's freakin huge and full of eggs. While the bagel might not be on the level of a place that specializes in bagels, it's pretty good for this. And in the end, everything came together in a really damn good sandwich. Yeah. In the end it's worth the price. I was won over. I saw some bacon, egg, and cheese scones on the counter. Those looked extremely tempting. That's for next time for me. If you're really hungry, this sandwich is right up your alley.

This little cafe is nothing short of ADORABLE. A once very "friends" type of coffee house under the previous owner, has been transformed into a bright, thoughtfully curated design, featuring old French country motifs in the chandeliers and antique furniture pieces. The breakfast sandwiches are VERY tasty, the coffee is great, and the staff is so incredibly sweet and helpful. Top-notch spot, I'll be coming back frequently!

    Brisket sandwich

Marple location- Tastefully artistic ambiance and even tastier food and drinks! The brisket sandwich blew me away. Smoked to perfection!!!! I'm not a coffee person but the hot chocolate was amazing. The chef and barista were super friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be returning

Build Your Egg Sandwich - egg, pork roll, cheese, on a toasted sour dough bread with some corn salsa for good measure!

The new Media Bean Cafe location: 204 S Newtown Street Rd Newtown Square is awesome. Great selections of unique coffees, teas, and smoothies. Also the best breakfast sandwich in the biz! My daughter loves the pancakes and French Toast. I come here every week. And very nice people on top of all that!

Quaint tables, good for studying, friendly atmosphere

Originally the search was for a place that we had assumed was in…read moreNewtown Square, but was actually in Newtown; much too far to go to for an impromptu breakfast unless we were prepared for a small trip. However, this is the circumstances that led me to Rolling Stars. Not knowing what to expect whatsoever, except that I read that they served bagels, I was blown away by the offerings and the quality of everything they have, and will definitely be coming back to try some other menu items in the near future! Not only do they make almost everything from scratch, homemade here, with the bagels obviously being their signature item, everything is fresh, bold and wonderful. They even have a daily soup that is prepared by hand, that is available all day long, even for breakfast. If you've read any of my other reviews, you know that this is a game changer for me. Their coffee drinks are very good, and while not the best I have had, they are fun, tasty and they will make special additions simply if you've ask. In my case I ordered a simple cappuccino but they added little heart sprinkles for Valentine's Day since it is upcoming, even though the drink doesn't have them. The biggest problem I had was trying to decide what to actually choose from the menu because I was faced with way too many options that I wanted. I ultimately went with "the Bella", a portobello sandwich, which comes on your choice of bread, or any of their bagels, of which I chose the egg everything. Within a few bites I knew that this was easily within the top three bagel sandwiches I had ever had, and I am very critical of bagels and have had a TON of bagels and bagel sandwiches, coming from a kosher deli family. I also had the soup of the day which was a brilliant chicken noodle with awesome large macaroni elbows that just totally kicked it up. In our entire visit we only encountered one thing that was bothersome and it wasn't with my food but with our table's, and this was likely due to expectations. The jalapeño cheddar bagel is simply a plain bagel with a slice of cheddar and diced jalapeños on top. Now it was still outstandingly delicious, but I feel like we were under the impression it would be cooked into the dough and the entirety of the bagel. This wasn't the case and I can't knock them for it because it was still fantastic; aesthetics be damned! You should definitely visit here if you have not been here yet, and I can guarantee you will be coming back again and again. I cannot wait to go back, and I didn't even touch on the crazy awesome bagel chips that come with nearly everything!

FOOD: The breakfast burrito was not good at all. They put huge chunks of raw onions and green peppers in it. I had to pick them all out. They should cut them small and at minimum sweat them down a little. Those are 2 products that should be used sparingly due to their powerful flavor. It was also supposed to have bacon in it, but there were only a few teeny tiny pieces in it. By "few" I mean like 4 bacon bits in the entire burrito. Based on the size and the taste, I think they actually used a jar of those little red salad dressing isle bacon bits. I have a good palate and struggled to even taste the bacon. I even pulled 1 of the 4 bacon bits out and ate it on its own & it tasted like nothing. Unknown if that was because it was so small or because it wasn't real bacon. SERVICE: They sat me at the bar, but I didn't get a server to come greet me for almost 10 minutes. But I do acknowledge it was very very busy so I wasn't too concerned. ** I probably just ordered the wrong menu item. I do not recommend the cowboy burrito. However 9 of the 10 times I've dined there it was a good experience. The place was packed on a Wednesday morning. So obviously people love this place. ____________________________________________________________________ GOOD: Those little Jewish Apple Cakes were the same as they always were.
