We went to First Watch b/c I received a BOGO email for my birthday. We were welcomed warmly and seated quickly by Beth, whom we learned later is the general manager. Very clean and pleasant ambience. The food we ordered (Farmhouse Hash and Inspired Italian Omelet) was delicious except that the poached eggs I ordered "hard" did not come out that way. When Beth heard, she made me a whole new order even though I just needed the eggs replaced. She later presented me with a BOGO coupon (not yet knowing that I had one with me). Went for brunch with a friend and really enjoyed the food here. Service was great, ambiance was laid back, and spacious. I ordered the protein bowl with Italian sausage and it was so yummy. My friend got the traditional breakfast platter with eggs bacon toast and fruit and that was also very good. We both got morning meditation juices and they were so refreshing! All I can say is that everything I tasted came out perfect. I loved the omelet. I loved the toast. I loved the potatoes. I loved the coffee. My son loved the pancake. I had one of those meals where nothing missed the mark for me. In the end I go off of how I feel as I eat it. And I felt like I was completely satisfied. Maybe they didn't always get it right for other people. But on this day, for this meal, they hit me just right. But I'll add one thing. Here's my reminder that this is a chain in the end. When we asked for more of the all-natural "house" jam to take home with our leftovers, we were brought packets of all-natural Smuckers and told that's what they use. I mean, it was really good Smuckers. I gotta admit. But it's possible not everything is as flowery as it appears on the menu. I mean I guess you can't hand make every little thing. Nice place for brunch/breakfast!! I can see why this place is popular, they have lots of good options to choose from! Scrambles, savory, sweet, breakfast tacos and much more. Their menu is jam packed with plenty of choices for everyone. The Morning Meditation drink was one of the best drinks we've had. Unfortunately the avocado on the avocado toast and the breakfast tacos was not good. Probably too old. Service was good, just wish the food was better and more fresh. Brunch? Maybe. It's a very rustic and charming resturant inside with a handful of tables for outdoor seating as well. Definitely modern rustic gram worthy. I'm a first timer here and I got to-go, so I'm not sure how their food is usually seasoned. Overall, the food was okay BUT the over salted potatoes carried into the first 2 dishes (over salted to the point, where it was all I tasted on my tongue). FYI: next time I'd ask for no salt and just season it on my own. The biscuits, gravy and eggs were standard. They packaged the biscuits and gravy separately, which was considerate. However, the potatoes were TOO salty, which made them uneatable. The roasted veggies in the hash were delicious, but again the potatoes were TOO salty and threw off the hash. Been ordering pickup from here regularly during the pandemic. Food comes out quickly and they have a common table by the host station for pickups. Online ordering is easy. My food has been good too, usually get the trifecta with a waffle and OE eggs. Been ordering the oatmeal too, steel cut it's very good. Good outdoor seating options here as well. I do wish they packaged their to go stuff differently. For example my toast is placed in the same container as my eggs and is a bit soggy from the steam. I'd prefer it be packaged separately. They are doing indoor dining now too, but I'm sticking with to go or outdoor dining for the time. read more

This location has plenty of outdoor seating, however not all spots are adequately shaded, so I would recommend coming early in the morning if you want to sit outside (and it's also less crowded!) They do offer indoor seating with tables spaced out. I've only ever gone first thing in the morning and there's never a wait. But if you're planning on going at a busy time/day, they do have an app if you'd like to add your name to the waitlist. My new go-to order is the Chickichanga which includes eggs, chicken, chorizo sausage, cheese, onions, avocado, vera cruz sauce, and sour cream! A few negatives: on almost every experience here I've had slightly under seasoned and slightly undercooked potatoes & I've ordered the Chickichanga multiple times and each time it seems slightly different/off (but still good). If you do want salt, pepper, ketchup, etc., ask your waiter/waitress. Please be nice to the staff. They are college students working to survive. Just because your mom is having a brunchy kind of day doesn't mean you can belittle people over bacon. This location has to be the busiest I've ever seen. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The bacon and avocado toast are my favorite. Also the hot coffee (not the free stuff in the lobby) is delicious. I would avoid coming on a Sunday without calling first! they have a call ahead seating that is actually worth it. It was a wait for a ToGo order but that was including the massive crowd in the lobby doing God only knows what while they complain and cut in front of one another. I've been here a handful of times and have been able to try quite a few things on the menu between this location and the Wynnewood location. The food is pretty decent for the suburbs, which is why I keep returning. But seriously AVOID ORDERING TAKE-OUT HERE if you can because they tend to mess up. In terms of food, I would recommend: -Farm-stand tacos -The works omelette -Pesto chicken quinoa bowl I've ordered pick up from here a few times, and they've messed up the order more times than they haven't. Something is always missing, but it was never big enough to make a fuss about it. I'm honestly ok with missing a side of veggies! This morning was particularly bad--we ordered four items from the menu, and here was what was wrong: -No eggs and bacon with the Trifecta -No tacos with the Farm-Stand Tacos (yeah, we only got the beans) -No ciabatta and no veggies with the Salmon Frittata The manager was nice and gave me a $20 credit for all the mistakes and checked all the missing things. But we still never got the ciabatta and veggies for the Salmon Frittata... so there was still half of an order missing that we paid full price for. I had the multigrain pancake with chocolate chips ( probably not very healthy), but it was delicious. The pancake was big enough that one was enough for me. I also had the coffee which was just ok. The two stars are for the wait staff's friendliness and the ability to customize the menu items. I walked into First Watch and was immediately taken back by the noise level. I understand people were chatting and enjoying their meal. What I don't understand is how First Watch allowed for a configuration that doesn't reduce the noise. My Sound Print app reported it was "very loud! Long exposure can cause hearing loss". OSHA has regulations regarding noise levels and the employees are working in an environment that will damage their hearing. The Monterey Club was good. Fresh greens, good turkey and avocados. The potatoes were too salty. Service was prompt and the waitress was helpful and friendly. Will I try another First Watch, probably, but if it has high levels of sound like Newtown Square, then it gets crossed off my list and off the list of recommended places to eat for my office. read more

Nice chain brunch spot! I have been to a couple Baltimore locations and went here(this location) with my mom. Originally they said the wait was going to be 30-45 mins but only took 10 mins to get seated. Nice size cafe and seating. The service is pretty fast and even when it gets crowded they get people in and out. The kale tonic juice was really good and the cinnamon chip breakfast. The million dollar bacon was good and has a little spice and sweetness to it which makes it stands out. Red medicine juice is really good, big fan of black tea so this drink was great. I don't know what the deal is, maybe they are chronically understaffed, but you can expect to see your server maybe 2- 3 times: they'll take your drink order and food order (usually the same time because you've already been sitting for 15 mins), they'll deliver the food (or someone else will), then they'll drop by to ask if everything was OK at the same time they're handing you the bill. *vegan review* 3.5 stars Walked in at about noon on a Saturday. The wait for a seat was about 30 minutes and an additional 30 minutes waiting for our food. Bit of a long wait, but the portions are huge and the place is full so it's understandable. While we were waiting for our food to arrive something from the ceiling fell on some guy sitting behind us...not cool... he wasn't hurt though, so no lawsuit (hopefully) I ordered the market veggie sandwich, which I had to heavily customise in order to make it vegan (no mayo, pesto, cheese, or butter). Thankfully, the waiter was very accommodating and let me sub in avocado at no extra cost. The bread was honestly the highlight of my sandwich - it's thick, chewy but soft, and studded with nuts and seeds. I'm glad I added the avo as the sandwich would have been far too dry and bland (and also not as filling) otherwise without the other condiments. For coffee drinkers, a carafe is under $3 and they have vegan almondmilk creamer as well as conventional dairy creamer. Overall a decent experience, besides the long wait, and a satisfying meal. Would be much appreciated if more vegan options were added to the menu, since so many items are very meat- and cheese-heavy. I would come back but wouldn't drive more than 20 minutes or wait more than a half hour just to sit down. read more

The place looks very nice very attractive and clean and recently I would say I had fantastic waitress recently. I don't know her name with lots of smiles, and very sweet no problems at all. I've had the waitresses recommend things they let us know how it is and they were right they were delicious, I have tried eggs Benedict with BLT. It was very good and I have asked them for a veggie omelette that was not on the menu that was out of this world really good with fresh like sautéed vegetables in the middle, so definitely talk to your wages and see what they suggest or ask for what you want and they will give you ideas. Also, my daughter-in-law, oh I don't know the name of it exactly but something like like an egg ranchero or it was like nachos and it was like an egg bowl and it had nachos black beans a scrambled eggs and she ate half and gave me the leftovers and I tasted it. I had late breakfast here with my daughter today. Had the French toast with coffee. It was delicious. Thick brioche bread topped with my favorte whipped butter. It was topped with cinnamon sugar and they gave warm syrup in a sauce cup. Nice atmosphere even with the Covid mess going on. It's my second time checking out a First Watch. We went for brunch on a Saturday at 830am and it was nice and quiet with no wait. By 1045 the place was busy and loud due to the high ceilings. We had unlimited refills of coffee with a hot carafe of coffee at our table. I ordered off of the seasonal menu with the Chicken Chimichurri Hash. It was a delicious and flavorful plate of goodness. There was a nice blend of cheese, chicken and chimichurri. The potatoes were perfectly cooked and a great portion. In addition to that yummy and filling portion, the plate came with one large slice of multigrain toast with jam and a side of fresh fruit.
