I'm a fan of First Watch. Late Saturday brunch and the service was fantastic (thanks Juan). Ordered the new menu item and it was perfect! Sourdough was actually sour and toasted perfectly. The scrambled eggs were creamy and the arugula was the bitter crunch under the snowfall of Parmesan. Order the Parmesan Prosciutto Toast. Tell them Jill sent you.

Absolutely delicious, fresh, tasty food! Good (albeit slow) service and many amazing selections. I love this place! Nice patio.

All I can say is that everything I tasted came out perfect. I loved the omelet. I loved the toast. I loved the potatoes. I loved the coffee. My son loved the pancake. I had one of those meals where nothing missed the mark for me. In the end I go off of how I feel as I eat it. And I felt like I was completely satisfied. Maybe they didn't always get it right for other people. But on this day, for this meal, they hit me just right. But I'll add one thing. Here's my reminder that this is a chain in the end. When we asked for more of the all-natural "house" jam to take home with our leftovers, we were brought packets of all-natural Smuckers and told that's what they use. I mean, it was really good Smuckers. I gotta admit. But it's possible not everything is as flowery as it appears on the menu. I mean I guess you can't hand make every little thing. I still loved the food and will totally be back. Let's see if they can hit it out of the park each time for me in the future.

Nice place for brunch/breakfast!! I can see why this place is popular, they have lots of good options to choose from! Scrambles, savory, sweet, breakfast tacos and much more. Their menu is jam packed with plenty of choices for everyone. The Morning Meditation drink was one of the best drinks we've had. Unfortunately the avocado on the avocado toast and the breakfast tacos was not good. Probably too old. Service was good, just wish the food was better and more fresh. Hope to come back for a better food experience next time.

Brunch? Maybe. It's a very rustic and charming resturant inside with a handful of tables for outdoor seating as well. Definitely modern rustic gram worthy. I'm a first timer here and I got to-go, so I'm not sure how their food is usually seasoned. Overall, the food was okay BUT the over salted potatoes carried into the first 2 dishes (over salted to the point, where it was all I tasted on my tongue). FYI: next time I'd ask for no salt and just season it on my own. The biscuits, gravy and eggs were standard. They packaged the biscuits and gravy separately, which was considerate. However, the potatoes were TOO salty, which made them uneatable. The roasted veggies in the hash were delicious, but again the potatoes were TOO salty and threw off the hash. The strawberries and lemon topping were yummy additions for the pancakes.

A friends took me out yesterday for brunch for my birthday. It's a nice m, clean restaurant. We sat inside. I had coffee (I was so glad it wasn't super strong) and the avocado toast. She got the burrito that was listed as a special and her six year old had an omelet. Everything was very good.

Yum yum - A square plate holds several pieces of French toast dusted with powdered sugar, with some bacon pieces nearby, on a wooden table.

The food was really good but filling so be warned when getting food there. The service was really good and they were very friendly and welcoming. Along with that the scenery was very nice but it feels a little compact, but besides that it was a trip well spent.

Really great food in a cute spot…read more I will say that every time I've been here, service has been slow due to what seems like not enough staff for how popular this place is. It's certainly not the staff's fault and they've all been lovely, but it's been a significant wait every time we've come here. Moving to the food, it is phenomenal and why this place has a five star rating despite the above. The spinach artichoke dip and the tofu are both the best I've ever had at any restaurant ever. My husband got the steak sandwich and the bread was amazing and the steak was cooked perfectly as well. I got the curried cauliflower salad and the dressing was a bit too strong for me and unfortunately the salad was dressed very heavily. But the cauliflower was still cooked well. Despite the service situation, the food is so good that I will definitely be back.

I don't know if they raised prices during COVID, shrank portions, or if it was always a little imbalanced. It's not even a financial thing, I'm just still hungry after eating an entree. Curiously, the desserts are huge. Like shared for the table huge. The Pickle Pizza is excellent, as is the Steak Mac & Cheese. The Pork Taco are also really good and could sub for an entree for a light eater. Anyway, this place is my go-to before a show at 118 North across the street. I've never been disappointed, I just end up spending more than planned.

We decided to try Salt & Stone recently since it was a new spot and this place did not disappoint. Upon entering the establishment, we were greeted by none other than the owners. Zara & Dimitri (not great with names but I think that's what they said) were very welcoming and patient as I inquired about all the work they've done with the interior. It looks a lot nicer inside than the previous restaurant. Now the important part. The food. Absolutely incredible. I am still disappointed I didn't try this place earlier. We started with the goat cheese lollipops (amazing), Mezze, and calimari (high quality). After the first bite, I knew we were in for a great dinner. For the main course, I ordered the Rigatoni & my wife ordered the pork chop. Both were top notch. I love a good old fashioned and I enjoy other people's takes on this. Peter, I believe was his name, was so courteous, calm, respectful and nothing was a problem, he just took care of things. The starters of Tuna Tartar and the Arugula Beet Salad were fabulous, so full of mixed flavors, pleasing to all senses. For entrees my friend had the Blackened Shrimp ABLT salad, so decadent, so rich in flavors and content. I had the leftovers the next day, it was still fabulous. I had the Lamb Bolognese. We all shared the General Tso Cauliflower, which was delicious and fun! I also enjoyed the Crab Bisque as a starter and the Fish Tacos for my entree. Everything was hot and tasty, and the portions were just right. No complaints. Initially the food was brought out pretty quickly, then service slowed wayyy down. It did start to get busy, but not unmanageably; however, it eventually felt like we were forgotten about. It took forever to get our check, and the system wouldn't recognize my Burtons membership info to give me points for the visit. But I mentioned the date in the beginning because the AWS outage occurred that day. I think that was ultimately the issue, but the lack of communication and check-ins from our server added an element of frustration to our experience that could have been prevented. This is not a place I would recommend to anyone that I know. Sure it's nice inside and they said everything they make is homemade which is great, but the food doesn't taste nor the drinks and the service couldn't hit the mark. This was a disappointment. It's authentic, comforting, and alive with culture. The food? Unreal. Their **homemade bread** sets the tone -- rustic, fresh, and full of that old-world character. The **pizza** is on another level with dough that's so good it almost steals the show. Every pasta dish carries that handcrafted feel, the kind that tells you the recipe didn't come from a cookbook -- it came from memory. The service was very good: attentive and friendly. The ambiance is similar to Not Your Average Joe's in Ardmore with the upstairs/balcony seating and downstairs and big screen TV showing sports, but much noisier, especially as the upstairs also was filled with guests. By the time we left at 7:45pm after a 6:45pm reservation, it was loud enough that we had to fairly shout at each other to continue our conversation. The food was okay, except the salad which was excellent, but not worth returning for just the salad. - beet salad - 4.5/5, plentiful small diced red and yellow beets, avocado, arugula, a light dressing and burrato with crushed pistachios. a very solid starter salad and the server kindly split a large order into two small plates for us to share - fried calamari - 3/5, having just eaten at Estia last night which has a very good fried calamari, this one was not breaded as consistently and some of the pieces were a tad on the large side for a reasonable bite and too chewy to be cut with the fork or knife. - penne puttanesca - 3/5, my husband ordered this and while he not a self-proclaimed foodie, for him to say it was just okay means it was really just okay - linguine vongole - 3/5, points for the very plentiful offering of clams, i counted probably 20 generously sized clams (sometimes you get miniscule clams with this dish), but overall the sauce was too salty and there's not much you can do to fix that, and the linguine was a bit overcooked, definitely not even close to al dente We skipped dessert as by that point our ears were starting to ring with the high decibels coming from around us on the balcony and the floor below. It looked like a lot of people were having a good time so maybe it's just not for us.
