Cute little cafe in media. Parking spots right outside (metered). Good coffee. Healthy options. Pleasant staff. Decent prices. It's a great little spot!

    Grilled Cheese with Avocado

Had a lovely lunch with my teenaged daughter here today (one of my Christmas presents from her - what a nice treat!). We decided to share two sandwiches... The grilled cheese with avocado and Sriracha aioli was very good and we also enjoyed the Harvest Turkey Panini, although it was missing the slaw but we didn't realize it until it was too late. It was still a good sandwich and the turkey on it was definitely not lunch meat turkey... It was thick and juicy and full of flavor. We also shared a cheese Danish - it seemed like a cinnamon roll filled with that yummy cheesecake filling - so good, but a little on the cold side. We would prefer a room temp pastry, or even slightly warmed up. Overall, it was a cute little place to have lunch. We were the only ones in there, with the exception of a few people that left right after we got there, so it could have been a little quicker but since we weren't in a rush, it wasn't a big deal for us. The two ladies working there were very nice, but like another reviewer said, they kept going somewhere and coming back which seemed a little strange. One came back with an avocado in her hand so I guess maybe they were borrowing from neighbors, or have another kitchen out there somewhere. Anyway, who knows. We enjoyed our lunch and the price was right, which is rather surprising for Media, so that was a plus. We will certainly be going back!

Apple Waffle-- apples, caramel, and cinnamon! So yummy!!

Willow's waffles are fantastic. She and her team at Garden Cafe came up with really tasty combinations of waffles, that are perfectly sweet (but not too sweet). My boyfriend and I often order the Apple Waffle and are never disappointed--the combination of sautéed apples, caramel and cinnamon and whipped cream is so tasty. Another favorite of ours is the Sweet Orchard breakfast wrap. The combination of brie, bacon, and arugula is really yummy and again, always consistently well made. Willow is a lovely business owner, very attentive, and her staff are all very friendly. I always enjoy my meals here!! Plus the mochas and cappuccinos are great as well. You can't go wrong stopping in here to support a lovely little local business.

A friend took me to this cafe to pick up a to go lunch. The cafe is easy to find on a side street. First impressions matter and to me this cafe made a great first impression. It was clean, very neat and I believe the woman who owns the cafe or cooks for the cafe was working the counter. She offered me the lunch menu but also said we could negotiate about a few things off the breakfast menu if that's what I was looking for. I ordered watermelon ice tea and the California grilled cheese. It came with a choice of salad or chips and a pickle. Our order took a bit. Then there was the walk back to my office. Although my grilled cheese was like warm when I got back to my office it was still delicious. The avocado on the sandwich was really good. There was also some sauce...that was really good too. I can't wait to go back and try some other items. Tip: they have some pretty good looking pastries and fill the cannoli while you wait. The prices are really reasonable for Media, PA

I love the Omelettes, they're definitely above average, they come with fried potatoes and perfectly toasted/buttered bread. I love putting the omelette on top of the bread, so good! The perfect amount of food and I clean my plate everytime. Although, not enough for leftovers. I've gotten the 14 Hour Pork Butt Omelette and the Kennett Square Omelette. Both were delicious! My boyfriend and family have had the Huevos Rancheros--which looked amazing and I was told it was delicious. Looked like a lot of food too, so if you want something more filling and hearty, I'd get that over the omelettes. They've also had the breakfast sandwiches, which looked like a steal for the price and very good as well. The coffee, hot chocolate and tea is great too, and fairly priced! I get a drink every time, and they make sure you have refills, sugar, honey, whatever you want with it. Overall I recommend this place as a pretty good option if you're in Media!

It was a bustling yet comfortable little restaurant, split into two separate rooms. My daughter and I sat on the side with the grill, which had extra windows since it's on "The Corner" and some nice green plants that brightened things up a little more. The Huevos Rancheros didn't disappoint - I ordered mine with the coffee rubbed short rib. It really was good and it was cooked perfectly. The crispy potatoes were so good and actually crispy, unlike most other places that just have a little crisp to them. I adore home fries, and they can be hard to cook just right, so I really enjoyed these. The service was great and the waitress was so friendly. Oh, and there was an earthquake while we were there - and my daughter was the only one who even felt it LOL Overall, it was a yummy and fun visit. I'm glad I finally got to try it out, and I will definitely go again sometime.

I placed my order, got my silverware and table number and sat down to wait for them to bring it out, very efficient way to do things. When my food arrived, an omelet with mushrooms, onions, sweet Italian sausage, and cheddar cheese, my eyes grew wide. Before digging in I popped a stray mushroom that was sitting on top of omelette before taking the photo. Immediately noticed the amount of flavor of the mushroom alone, it prompted me to ask if they were marinated, the chef/owner came out after I was done and said she takes baby bella mushrooms, cuts them up and sautees them in salt pepper garlic, "no cans here' she said and you can tell. Upon digging into the omelette I found it to be loaded with the ingredients I had chosen, even distribution, I mean just look at that cross section! The potatoes were seasoned well and delightfully crispy. Prices were more than fair for the quality. I appreciate having the right size portions so I can enjoy but not need a carry out container. The service consisted of two ladies in the dining room and they seemed to complement each other by overlapping duties, if one was busy the other would step up and help out. I have noticed that at other restaurants, one server will let another drown with duties and never help out, I enjoyed seeing the team work in action today. The restaurant itself is a well designed environment even the Men's Restroom was interesting and well kept. When I am in the area, I would definitely eat here again for the good food, in proper portions and a clean restaurant.

Originally the search was for a place that we had assumed was in…read moreNewtown Square, but was actually in Newtown; much too far to go to for an impromptu breakfast unless we were prepared for a small trip. However, this is the circumstances that led me to Rolling Stars. Not knowing what to expect whatsoever, except that I read that they served bagels, I was blown away by the offerings and the quality of everything they have, and will definitely be coming back to try some other menu items in the near future! Not only do they make almost everything from scratch, homemade here, with the bagels obviously being their signature item, everything is fresh, bold and wonderful. They even have a daily soup that is prepared by hand, that is available all day long, even for breakfast. If you've read any of my other reviews, you know that this is a game changer for me. Their coffee drinks are very good, and while not the best I have had, they are fun, tasty and they will make special additions simply if you've ask. In my case I ordered a simple cappuccino but they added little heart sprinkles for Valentine's Day since it is upcoming, even though the drink doesn't have them. The biggest problem I had was trying to decide what to actually choose from the menu because I was faced with way too many options that I wanted. I ultimately went with "the Bella", a portobello sandwich, which comes on your choice of bread, or any of their bagels, of which I chose the egg everything. Within a few bites I knew that this was easily within the top three bagel sandwiches I had ever had, and I am very critical of bagels and have had a TON of bagels and bagel sandwiches, coming from a kosher deli family. I also had the soup of the day which was a brilliant chicken noodle with awesome large macaroni elbows that just totally kicked it up. In our entire visit we only encountered one thing that was bothersome and it wasn't with my food but with our table's, and this was likely due to expectations. The jalapeño cheddar bagel is simply a plain bagel with a slice of cheddar and diced jalapeños on top. Now it was still outstandingly delicious, but I feel like we were under the impression it would be cooked into the dough and the entirety of the bagel. This wasn't the case and I can't knock them for it because it was still fantastic; aesthetics be damned! You should definitely visit here if you have not been here yet, and I can guarantee you will be coming back again and again. I cannot wait to go back, and I didn't even touch on the crazy awesome bagel chips that come with nearly everything!
