    Pork sandwich with fries.
    Steven F.

Small casual restaurant, small menu, very nice staff, good food. My mustard glazed pork sandwich with coleslaw and fries was delicious. Saw someone's BLT and it looked great. Rivalry shows that it's not rocket science to make good, simple food. I felt bad that this place wasn't crowded. Maybe it's busier during the week.

Grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce , tomatoes and a honey vinegar type dressing. Hot and delicious!

Food cooked fresh to order. Prices are actually FAIR because this area in Media is known for high pricing but not here! Place is quaint and spotless. They serve up fresh brewed iced tea which is my favorite. The staff are delightful.

The overall experience was great, with cute indoor and outdoor seating and kind workers. We got the French Toast BLT and the Grilled Cheese Combo. Both were fantastic and miles above average, and I've been to a lot of brunch places. We WILL be returning and this will be our go-to spot going forward. This is not your average brunch food. French Toast BLT was the ultimate meal for sweet and savory lovers, with maple syrup on the side for dipping. I got it with an over easy fried egg per the recommendation of another Yelper; amazing addition! It's also a huge portion, you will have enough to save for later. Highly recommend! The Grilled Cheese Combo is an amazing comfort food meal that will make you want a nap after. Pesto grilled cheese with nicely spiced tomato soup for dipping! My boyfriend couldn't finish it. We shared and I loved it as well! Could see myself ordering both our meals again in the future. Definitely check this place out for brunch if you're in the area!

I love the Omelettes, they're definitely above average, they come with fried potatoes and perfectly toasted/buttered bread. I love putting the omelette on top of the bread, so good! The perfect amount of food and I clean my plate everytime. Although, not enough for leftovers. I've gotten the 14 Hour Pork Butt Omelette and the Kennett Square Omelette. Both were delicious! My boyfriend and family have had the Huevos Rancheros--which looked amazing and I was told it was delicious. Looked like a lot of food too, so if you want something more filling and hearty, I'd get that over the omelettes. They've also had the breakfast sandwiches, which looked like a steal for the price and very good as well. The coffee, hot chocolate and tea is great too, and fairly priced! I get a drink every time, and they make sure you have refills, sugar, honey, whatever you want with it. Overall I recommend this place as a pretty good option if you're in Media!

The menu is expansive. Many options caught my eye. If you order an entree, their salad bar comes with it, or, for $8, you can add it to your app/sandwich. For $16, the salad bar can be your entree. The salad bar was a great treat and has everything you could want along with fresh fruit and desserts like bread pudding. We shared the buffalo chicken dip. It was ok. Not bad. I got the prime rib queen cut with a side of horsey sauce. It was cooked to the temp I wanted. I got their homestyle mashed potatoes as my side. The meal was delicious. Took home half. My friend got the ribeye melt sanwhich. She could only manage a few bites before packing it up as she also added the salad bar to her meal. We split a chocolate mousse pie for dessert. So fresh and decadent. The cost was reasonable too! Will definitely go back to try more options. My only gripe is that they brought out our app just minutes before our entrees. I wonder if they forgot about it. Our server was great. She let my friend and me catch up without too many interruptions.

Bar service can be slow however. I tried the turkey dinner a while back and though it was lacking in volume it was tasty. Dunno if I'd trust the entrees again after taking my wife there the other night. The Steak Diane I ordered medium came out raw. I mean really raw like barely seared. The first and only bite I took revealed that not only was it raw but the Diane sauce was absolutely horrible. There was no cognac in the sauce whatsoever (which is a key ingredient for Diane sauce) and was flavorless. It tasted like a very basic "tan" gravy was used. I'll be back for the salad bar. Er...maybe. ------------------------------------- In response to owner (?) Tracy M.'s comment below. Really? No Steak Diane on the menu? So I imagined this and just decided to lie? Wrong! I was there the other night and if you care to look at your own menu under "Steaks" you'd see it. The fact that YOU aren't even aware this is on your menu on the hard copy menu your hostess gave us that night and on your website shows your knowledge level (not the one here on Yelp that you haven't updated). So you still serve your "Baked chicken wings" too listed on your Yelp menu? Not! This speaks volumes!! Coming from a saucier like myself I know darn well there was no cognac (nor red wine) in the sauce as the description on your menu in the "Steaks" section states: Steak Diane $32.00 Sirloin steak covered with black peppercorns in a rich mushroom red wine sauce and served with mashed potatoes and grilled onions. Perhaps if you actually knew what is on your menu you'd perform better!

Originally the search was for a place that we had assumed was in…read moreNewtown Square, but was actually in Newtown; much too far to go to for an impromptu breakfast unless we were prepared for a small trip. However, this is the circumstances that led me to Rolling Stars. Not knowing what to expect whatsoever, except that I read that they served bagels, I was blown away by the offerings and the quality of everything they have, and will definitely be coming back to try some other menu items in the near future! Not only do they make almost everything from scratch, homemade here, with the bagels obviously being their signature item, everything is fresh, bold and wonderful. They even have a daily soup that is prepared by hand, that is available all day long, even for breakfast. If you've read any of my other reviews, you know that this is a game changer for me. Their coffee drinks are very good, and while not the best I have had, they are fun, tasty and they will make special additions simply if you've ask. In my case I ordered a simple cappuccino but they added little heart sprinkles for Valentine's Day since it is upcoming, even though the drink doesn't have them. The biggest problem I had was trying to decide what to actually choose from the menu because I was faced with way too many options that I wanted. I ultimately went with "the Bella", a portobello sandwich, which comes on your choice of bread, or any of their bagels, of which I chose the egg everything. Within a few bites I knew that this was easily within the top three bagel sandwiches I had ever had, and I am very critical of bagels and have had a TON of bagels and bagel sandwiches, coming from a kosher deli family. I also had the soup of the day which was a brilliant chicken noodle with awesome large macaroni elbows that just totally kicked it up. In our entire visit we only encountered one thing that was bothersome and it wasn't with my food but with our table's, and this was likely due to expectations. The jalapeño cheddar bagel is simply a plain bagel with a slice of cheddar and diced jalapeños on top. Now it was still outstandingly delicious, but I feel like we were under the impression it would be cooked into the dough and the entirety of the bagel. This wasn't the case and I can't knock them for it because it was still fantastic; aesthetics be damned! You should definitely visit here if you have not been here yet, and I can guarantee you will be coming back again and again. I cannot wait to go back, and I didn't even touch on the crazy awesome bagel chips that come with nearly everything!

After walking down State for about a block, we settled on 320 as a good place to stop to get something that would be tasty but also quick enough to get us in and out the door in enough time to be on our way but also provide a wide enough selection for the three of us to select something that we each wanted. Being fans of 320 Market in Swarthmore, I was used to this place when we went inside, although it is markedly different from the location that we usually go to. The space is a little bit more sparse and feels less like a market than the one in Swarthmore, but the staff is still nice, and the colors are bright, and the selections are still wide and vary across the spectrum of flavors enough to make everyone happy. I ordered pierogis at the counter as did my daughter, and my wife ordered spanakopita and then we were told to take a seat anywhere we liked. I do know that they obviously had to prepare everything fresh which is one reason that we like 320, but I also know, the spanakopita is coming from a much larger sheet and the pierogis only have to be fried and plated. For some reason things were taking an extremely long amount of time. The spanakopita came out relatively quick but was a little cold in the center. Still tasted delicious, but not ideal. However, the pierogis took forever. Not sure why because this was prime lunch time, around 11:30 and they weren't busy. Either way, when they did come out, they were played brilliantly, but I had to ask the wonderful guy at the counter to put them into containers so that my daughter and I could take them with us due to our fine constraints. He was more than happy to help and did his best to arrange them nicely in the containers, but for some reason the manager seemed to have a problem with the fact we ordered them to sit down and then asked to have them put into containers. He protested to some extent, albeit not directly to me, but when I looked in his direction alarmedly (which I'm not sure is even a word, lol) he simply stopped and went back to his other conversation). Even after our fifteen minute drive, the pierogis were superb and obviously made by hand from scratch. While I do like the other 320 Market location better and go there much more frequently just based on proximity to my home, this one was also good. I would go here again, and if you are in Media and need a good place for well-made delicious foods and interesting beer and wine that you won't find anywhere else, this is definitely your spot to go. There are many different choices of restaurants in Media to select from, but this is one place that is set up a bit differently, more like a "market" as described in its name. Go and check them out if you've never been, I bet there's something there that you'll enjoy!

The wings were packed with flavor and had a great kick, and the tofu sandwich was fresh, filling, and really well done. The service is quick and friendly, and there's a cool mix of offerings--plenty of fresh, made-to-order options, plus take-home meals if you're in a rush. The pizza smelled amazing as soon as we walked in, so that's definitely on our list to try next time. They also carry a smaller selection of fresh produce and grocery items, along with a bunch of unique snack choices you won't find just anywhere. Perfect place for a quick bite, a fun snack haul, or to grab something easy for later. We'll definitely be back!
